Chapter 2

Vincent purred as he felt something stroke gentle against his ears, his head resting against a warm spot of what he supposed was sunlight. He picked up traces of bone marrow and blood, his nose twitching, but ignored them, reckoning it was only because he was in his master's room.

Master.

The neko shot straight up, his eyes flashing open as his tail flicked irritably. Master. What a sick name. He would never call anyone master. He didn't have a pathetic kink and hated the idea.

"You're awake." A rough voice reached his ears and Vincent jumped as he was startled, his throat producing a low growl and peeved hiss. He scrambled away from the spot he had been laying on, his cat ears splayed against his hair as he arched his back a little.

He glared dangerously at a figure sitting in the shadows beyond the shaft of light he had been indeed laying it, though he realized with a sinking feeling that he had been laying in someone's lap.

"Who the fuck are you?! Why were you touching me?!" He snarled, his tail puffed and flicking wildly as he tried to calm the crackling anger in his nerves. He set his shoulders stiffly and sat down, his legs folded beneath him with his hands against the mattress in front of his knees.

A chuckle was his reply and he could just barely make out the flash of teeth in a sneering smile, jagged fangs stretching from the stranger's mouth. Vincent growled again, his own teeth sharp and pointed as he wrinkled his nose at the intruder.

"Who are you?!" He asked again, his eyes narrowed in suspicion and annoyance at being woken up. He glanced again towards the lap of the person, recognizing the dark pants and belt of the bed's owner.

"You.."

"Oh, come now, pet. Don't be angry. You seemed to have been enjoying my kind gestures." Vincent covered his ears protectivly as a thin line of purple blush spread onto his cheeks, looking away from the shadow.

"Sh-shut up."

"But Vincent, you were purring!" Another chuckle, this time accompanied by a heavy sigh, the figure crossed it's arms.

"I was just getting comfortable, too." Vincent growled again and moved his hands, clenching them into fists as he straightened.

"You sick bastard. What makes you think you can just touch me like that!" He couldn't stop his ears from twitching at the jingle of his name tag on his collar,  looking down at it with disgust. He shivered as it flashed in the light, giving him a clear view of the words "Papyrus' Property" embedded in the metal.

"Because I am your master," Vincent looked back up with a jolt of fear as the skeleton sat up, leaning forward so his skull was in the sunlight and his face was cast into dramatic shadows that only made him scarier.

Vincent shrank down before him as he got closer, his eyes switching between anger to fear as he tried to remain defensive, only tucking his tail between his legs as Papyrus smirked at his cowardice.

"And you are my pet."
