To chase a dream
Or save myself?
I thought we were meant to be
Forever you and me.
But I see now.

It wasn't as perfect as I thought
It never was
But I was ignoring the cracks you brought
Covering the light trying to shine in
Ignoring the obvious, yet again
I see now.

I let the light in
And all those cracks turned out to be larger than expected
So I faced a decision
To chase a dream,
Or to save myself?
I see now.
And I choose me.
