The day of the genin examination had come. In the written test, Naruto had answered about enough to get him 75% marks, though he knew that the teacher checking wouldn't give him more than 50%. Unless of course, it was Iruka.

When it came to Shuriken and Kunai throwing, Naruto hit 4 bull's-eyes, 3 on the target, and others he missed, with both Kunai and Shuriken.

'Poor Naruto, he can't show his skills,' thought Sakura, remembering how Naruto had helped her at this exact thing.

Finally, it was time for practical exams. Now, this was something he wasn't gonna hold back on.

After a few students, it was Naruto's turn.

"A-all the b-best Naruto kun," stuttered Hinata.

"Thank you Hinata," he replied in a calm tone.

"Naruto, use Substitute with this chair," said Iruka, and Naruto pulled it off perfectly.

"Now do a transformation."

Naruto looked at Sasuke, who smirked. The next moment, he was transformed into a naked girl, as he muttered, 'sexy Jutsu.

"NARUTO!" Iruka yelled.

"Come on, this is a transformation," said Naruto.

"Stop playing. Do a proper transformation," said Iruka.

"Alright, alright," he said as he transformed into Iruka.

"Perfect," said Iruka with a small smile.

"Next, make at least three clones."
"Iruka sensei, my chakra is too much for a simple clone. So can I perform a different one?" asked Naruto.

"Yes, it doesn't specify the type of clone," said Iruka.

"Shadow clone jutsu," said Naruto as three perfect clones pop into existence.

Iruka's eyes were wide open.

"G-good," said Iruka, a little surprised.

He then pointed to the table with a small smile.

"You passed Naruto," he said happily, and Naruto jumped on him, hugging him.

"Thank you sensei," he exclaimed.

"Now now, I have to examine others too," he said.

Mizuki meanwhile saw his whole plan crumbling on itself.

'Doesn't matter. I will do it myself,' he thought.

Naruto took his headband. A few chances later, it was Hinata's turn.

"Best of luck Hina chan," he said affectionately.

'H-Hina!' she thought.

With a newfound burst of confidence, she aced the test.

"Wow Hinata, you're so good," said Naruto.

"Aww, Naruto, are we not good?" asked Ino teasingly.

"Not as good as her," he said.

"My heart's broken," said Sakura and Ino in fake sadness.

"Dobe, let's go," said Sasuke as he grabbed Naruto's collar.

"TEME! Stop, I wanna enjoy today," said Naruto.

"Nope, training is important," Sasuke replied.

"But ramen is more important," he whined.

"You'll become weak."

"Pwease," said Naruto in a kiddish voice.

"No."

"Onii-san," he said making puppy eyes.

"ALRIGHT!" Sasuke yelled in frustration.

"Yay, Nii san's gonna treat me to ramen," an excited Naruto exclaimed.

Others were just watching them in amusement.

"OH HELL NO! I WOULD GO BROKE IF I TREAT YOU TO RAMEN," he yelled.

"Come on," Naruto said.

"Fuck this shit, I am out," he said before disappearing.

"Traitor," muttered Naruto.

He then turned to Hinata.

"Hina chan, wanna eat ramen with me?" he asked.

"N-Naruto kun!" she exclaimed.

"Yeah?" he said.

"O-okay," she said.

"COOL! MEET ME AT ICHIRAKU'S IN TWO HOURS," he yelled excitedly.

"And one more thing," he said as he turned serious.

"Don't you dare bring money. Everything is on me," he said before he left.

"Ahh... Hinata got a date," teased Sakura.

"N-n-no, it's not like that," she said before fainting.

Hinata had just exited her room, when she saw her dad.

"Hinata, where are you going?" he asked.

"F-f-father, I am going t-to eat Ramen," she said. He was about to go away but then saw she had no money.

"and where is the money?" he asked, suspicious.

"N-Naruto kun is treating me..." she muttered, scared that he won't allow her.

"Is he now?" he asked, amused.

"Y-yes," she said.

"Very well. I want you back in two hours. And also, do something about your stuttering. Boys don't like girls who aren't really confident," he said in a strict demeanor.

"H-hai!" she said, taken aback by the fact that her father had no problems.

He then started to walk away.

Soon, Naruto was sitting with her, as they ordered ramen.

"Say Hinata, I heard you aren't really good in Gentle Fist," said Naruto.

"Y-yeah," she stuttered.

"You know, if you want, you can practice on me," he said.

"Huh?" she asked, confused.

"I know you don't want to hurt others, that's why you don't don't usually hit their chakra point. I have watched you way too many times using it during spars," said Naruto.

"Yeah," she said Sadly.

"You know, if you want to become a ninja, you need to steel your will, and attack the opponent without holding back," said Naruto.

"But it really hurts," she said.

"If you hold back against your opponent, you're disrespecting them. And a hurt pride is worse than a hurt body," Naruto said gently.

"I-I understand," she said.

"So promise me you will become strong," said Naruto cheerfully.

"I-I will, Naruto kun," she replied with confidence.

Hiashi was watching this from a distance.

"Hm... not bad. Maybe he could finally deal with her weaknesses," Hiashi muttered. Behind the cold and strict demeanor, was a father who cared about her daughters a lot. He had to be strict with Hinata, as she was way too kind and caring, which the elders thought was a weakness, and he didn't want her to be branded with the Caged Seal.

After the date, Naruto walked Hinata home.

"Bye Naruto kun," said Hinata without stuttering.

"Bye Hina chan," replied Naruto.

'I had a date with Naruto kun,' she thought happily.

She then went inside, and Naruto turned to return, when he suddenly felt some sinister chakra.

"Huh?" he thought as he jumped towards the direction he felt in.

'Mizuki teme made his move I guess,' he thought.

The Hokage was tense. Mizuki, Iruka's friend, had just stolen the forbidden scroll and was running away. 

He watched him fleeing with Iruka on his tail.

Mizuki was faring rather well, due to which Hiruzen was very tense. The scrolls had a lot of secrets, and in the wrong hands, it could cause the downfall of Konoha.

He had sent summon for Hiashi Hyuga and Jiraiya, but they hadn't arrived yet.

He was in his thoughts, when Iruka was pinned into a tree.

Now there was no time. He would have to go himself.

But before he could do anything, things turned to worse for Mizuki.

Hello and sorry guys for posting so late, I mean this was supposed to be posted the day before yesterday, but I had an exam yesterday and was supposed to give another today, so I didn't get the time. Though I hate the fact that they told us yesterday at night that it is canceled I mean I could have written a chap or two. But anyway, sorry.
