"Should've never let Tanya go," James muttered angrily, shaking his head in frustration.
"Wait, wait," Lena held up her hands. "If they use the rock, then it will give off an energy signal!"
"Which we can scan for!" Curtis grinned.
"But if they use the rock, that means they're either making or have made a Worldkiller," Malcolm frowned.
"Don't worry," Kara assured him. "There's a reason we sent Mon-El with her. He's smart, tactical. He's a Legionnaire. If anyone can find us a signal, it's him."
***
Mon-El looked down at his now cuffed hands, then deadpanned, "Owie."
"We'll deal with you after the ceremony's done," his captor sneered, turning around to leave.
Mon-El scowled at his back, then when the man was a few feet away, he broke out of the cuffs and changed into his Legionnaire suit. "Just one question." When the man turned around and balked at him, Mon-El smirked. "Do you by chance know where I can find the Rock of Yuda Kal?" The man drew his gun and aimed at him, but Mon-El flicked his cape and wrapped it around the man's wrist, pulling him off his feet and into him. He held the man in a chokehold, tilting his head as he went limp. "So . . . no?" He dropped the man into the chair, checking him over. "You guys have no cell phones in cults?" He snorted, shaking his head and leaving to check the rest of the building.

"Into the flame, one oronc of Sedenach dust."
Mon-El carefully walked down the steps into what looked like a run-down auditorium, high on the second floor where he could see Tanya read from Coville's journal and Olivia pour the ingredients needed into a giant vat that glowed red. He surveyed the group Olivia had gathered, then looked among the ingredients. He locked his gaze on one he knew he could use. "Gotcha," he whispered.
"The final element is seven lak-mar of," Tanya read, trailing off when she looked up.
Mon-El nodded reassuringly to her, jumping down to the ground level behind a sheet curtain. "Of what?" Olivia asked.
Tanya refused to say, even when one of her guards pointed to her spot on the page. Mon-El sped past everyone to grab one of the crystalline-like sticks from the ingredients, then returned to his hiding spot. Only then did Tanya finish. "Nitrogen."
Olivia picked up a metal canister that billowed vapor, and she poured the liquid into the vat. She stepped back as the red glow turned to white, and she smiled reverently, putting the canister down. "Before the leaders of Krypton erased her with Rao, with their science, there was a goddess of life, of birth," she announced. "Yuda Kal. The faithful gathered in her orpheum in tribute, as we are now. And she will give us one final birth." She turned around and opened a metal box; she swallowed and seemed hesitant, yet she reached inside and removed a carved black stone in the shape of a Kryptonian goddess. "Worldkiller."
"There it is," Mon-El smiled, lifting up the crystal he found and watching it catch the light.

At the D.E.O., Slade frowned when he saw Kara's head whip to the side, her nose scrunched in concentration. "Little one?" he asked.
"Kryptonian Sunstone," Kara mumbled, looking around. "Mon-El found a frequency I can hear."
"Let's go!" Oliver barked, and his team scrambled to grab their weapons as Kara took off.
"Uh, James!" Winn called as James started to jog after them. He turned around, and Winn smirked as he lifted Guardian's repaired helmet from under his desk. "Safety first!"
James caught the helmet tossed to him, then laughed and ran after the others.

Olivia held the rock with both hands, taking a deep breath. "With the power of Yuda Kal, I will be the fourth," she declared.
Tanya gasped, and as Olivia put the hand with the rock in the vat, Mon-El zoomed forward, hoping to stop her. Olivia's free hand reached out faster than he could see and grabbed him by the neck, and Mon-El winced against the sudden super strength the blonde had. When he looked at her, he saw orange rush through her veins and make her eyes pulse with power, making Tanya whimper.
Kara landed between them and the other cultists, Oliver and Malcolm dropping down with her. Olivia turned to look at her, curling her lip. "The false god," she sneered, her voice layered with power. "Right on time."
She threw Mon-El away for her, and he smashed through several rows of seats before collapsing limply on the ground. Curtis ran to check on him as Rene and Dinah hurried through one side of the auditorium, Slade and Laurel the other. Kara looked back to check on Mon-El, then looked at Olivia as she lifted her hand from the vat, hand clenched tightly around the Rock of Yuda Kal. The orange energy sizzled through her veins in the shape of the Worldkiller coat of arms, and Kara flew forward. Olivia, however, drew back her arm and punched Kara into the air, then once again back against the wall. "Supergirl!" Malcolm shouted.
The cultists rushed the other vigilantes, and Dinah whirled her staff, smacking one in the head. Mon-El accepted Curtis's hand up, the two of them rotating to watch each other's backs. Oliver and Malcolm held off the cultists from interfering with Kara and Olivia, the two blondes exchanging punches and kicks. Kara finally grabbed Olivia's fist, stopping her from making another punch. "This is not you, Olivia," she gasped for breath. "The girl I saved was a good person."
"The girl you saved was weak," Olivia spat, forcing her to the ground. "Now I finish Reign's work."
Tanya yelped as she was pushed away from the fighting. "Move!" one of her guards ordered.
Tanya yanked herself out of his grasp and tried to run, skidding to a halt when another cultist stopped in front of her. Wind whistled above her, and Tanya looked up as James dropped to the ground, taking on all three cultists at once as Tanya scrambled out of the way, eyes wide in fear.
Kara finally flipped Olivia onto the ground and forced her fist open, revealing the Rock of Yuda Kal. Finally, she thought in relief, grabbing the rock to yank it out.
The second her skin touched the rock, her skin started to burn, and Kara screamed in horror as she lost control of her heat vision, trying to cover it with her hands before she fired it up at the ceiling. Oliver had to duck and roll out of the way of a collapsing light, and Mon-El had to reach up and grab a collapsing beam so it wouldn't knock Curtis out.
Kara collapsed onto her knees, still whimpering, and Olivia smirked smugly, standing up. "Wait," Kara held up her hand, gasping for breath and willing her heat vision to stop. "Olivia, let me just say this. You once believed in me." She finally got her breathing under control, blinking rapidly to stop her heat vision. "You thought I saved you for a reason, and I did. I saved you so that you could have a life."
"This is a life," Olivia argued.
"No, this is someone else's life," Kara countered, gesturing around the room. "This is Coville's life." Olivia hummed, unconvinced, and Kara sighed, crouching back on the ground, unable to get to her feet. "I know what it's like to not know which role you have to play," she admitted. "But you have so much to offer this world, so much . . . and this is not it."
Olivia swallowed hard, the orange fading from her eyes. "But who am I without it?" she asked meekly, the power gone from her voice.
Kara winced as she got to her feet. "Let go of that rock, and you'll have a lifetime to figure it out," she promised.
Olivia sniffed as she looked down at her clenched hand, then slowly nodded. She uncurled her fist, but orange laced up and down her arm, and the rock still clung to her palm, stuck there as if glued. "Olivia?" Oliver stepped forward.
"I can't get it," Olivia gulped, panicking as she used her other hand to try and take the rock off. "I can't get it!" Oliver ran over to see what he could do, and Olivia burst into hysterical tears, yanking harder and harder. "Help me! Please, help!"
"I can't touch it!" Kara shook her head wildly.
Oliver looked up and at the Daxamite who had finished lowering the beam. "Mon-El!" he shouted.
He looked up and ran over, and Olivia thrust her hand at him. "Please," she chanted, Oliver's hands on her shoulders to keep her steady as Mon-El grabbed the rock. "Please, please, please! Get it off, please!"
Mon-El swallowed hard, looking at Kara. "It won't budge."
Kara took a deep breath. "Olivia, this is gonna hurt," she warned. Olivia nodded, and as Mon-El removed his hand, Kara fired her heat vision at the rock. Olivia's scream made Oliver hug her tightly to keep her from thrashing, and Mon-El was finally able to pluck the rock right off of her hand. Oliver dropped to the floor with Olivia as she curled into a ball, sobbing loudly. "Let me see!" Kara ran over. "Let me see!"
Olivia uncurled her hand, and Kara gently blew onto her hand, coating it in a thin layer of ice crystals to cool her down. "It's OK," Oliver soothed Olivia, rubbing her back as Kara engulfed her in a hug. "You're gonna be OK."
Olivia just kept sobbing, even though she leaned into the two heroes. "I'm sorry!"
"It's OK," Kara shushed her.
Mon-El sighed and looked down at the rock in his hand, then looked up to see James and Tanya on the platform, Coville's journal safe in Tanya's arms. Both nodded at him, and Mon-El nodded back, looking around the room to see the other vigilantes giving Oliver and Kara space, escorting cultists out.

As police handled the auditorium, James watched in his civilian clothes, then saw Oliver walk up. "Hey," he smiled apologetically. "Heard you got pulled away from the others."
"William's in good hands with Alex," Oliver waved it off. "Besides, I was where I needed to be." James nodded in agreement, watching Kara supervise everything, then tensed when Oliver casually said, "Rumor has it Guardian was going to tell the world who he was?"
"You heard about that?" James sighed.
"Oh, I heard," Oliver nodded. "And while this isn't my Earth and I can't tell you what to do, I can give you my opinion and say that would have been a terrible idea."
"Yeah, I came to that conclusion, too," James nodded.
"It's just . . . " Oliver sighed. "The more people who know our secret identities, then that's more people who can be used against us. That's more people we need to protect. And if we told our cities who we were, they could easily change their opinions of us in a snap. It wouldn't just be Guardian. You saw how Star City was about to feed me to the wolves when it was just a rumor that I was the Green Arrow."
"I thought about that a lot," James admitted. "Though I gotta tell you, Oliver . . . there was a moment when I decided to unmask today where I felt powerful." Oliver raised an eyebrow curiously. "Don't get me wrong, I was definitely afraid of what changes may come or how people may perceive me, or the fallout. But I wanted to fight that good fight, because I think people like Tanya need to see heroes who look like me so they know what they're capable of." Oliver hummed and nodded, showing he was listening. "So when the time is right, on my own terms, I'm gonna take that mask off."
Oliver nodded. "I respect that, James," he smiled. "Maybe just give the rest of us a little warning when you do?"
James laughed. "Yes, sir."
"You did a good job today, though," Oliver held out his hand. "Nice work."
"Thanks, man," James smiled gratefully, shaking his hand. "Thanks for showing up."
"Hey, that's what family does," Oliver smiled, pulling out his phone when it chirped. He looked at the text he got, and his eyebrows raised. "Well, seems like Ruby's doing better."
"Is she?" James asked.
"Yeah," Oliver chuckled. "We're gonna love her hair, apparently."
***
Ruby was vibrating with excitement as Evelyn shut off the timer. "I can't wait to see this," she grinned.
"I can't wait to see how I did with a color other than blonde," Evelyn giggled. "Guys? She's ready!" As if they'd been waiting right outside the bathroom – and they probably had been – Alex opened the door, and William and Zoe poked their heads inside. "And now for the big reveal," Evelyn grinned. Ruby crossed her fingers, and Evelyn whipped the towel away. "Ta da!" she sang dramatically.
Ruby gasped in delight, leaning forward to closely examine the blue ends of her hair. "It looks so good!" she gushed. "I love it so much!"
"Yeah?" Evelyn grinned.
"That looks amazing, Evelyn!" Alex praised.
"You did such a good job," Ruby nodded in agreement.
"Well, thank you," Evelyn preened as they walked out of the bathroom. "At least I know now that if this whole vigilante thing doesn't work out, I have a calling as a hairdresser."
As Alex took the bowl of dye and the towel from Evelyn to put them away, Ruby fidgeted, then whispered, "I'm sorry I was so rude to all of you before."
Alex halted in her steps, eyes wide. "It's OK," William immediately assured her, plopping down on the couch and patting the seat next to him for Ruby to sit down. "We tried to make you feel better before you were ready to be." Ruby nodded, and William grinned. "But at least we were able to teach M'yrnn to play foosball."
Ruby giggled, nodding in agreement. "Alex," Zoe looked up. "How long has he been sick?"
Alex sighed, returning to sit down. "Not very long," she answered. "A few months. But he's very old. Like, hundreds of years old."
Ruby swallowed. "Do you think J'onn ever worries about what happened to his father will happen to him?"
"I don't know," Alex began, then froze. "Are you worried that what happened to your mom might happen to you?" Ruby nodded meekly, and Alex sighed. "I wish, more than anything, that I could take this burden from you," she admitted, standing up to sit on Ruby's other side. "I really wish that I could tell you that you never have to worry about that. But the truth is, I don't know. But I'll tell you what I do know." She pointed around the room at William, Zoe, and Evelyn. "These three are gonna do their damnedest to make sure that doesn't happen."
"Definitely," William nodded.
"And some of the smartest people in this universe love your mom," Alex continued. "And they're working day and night to find a cure. And those very same people? They love you. And I give you my word, Ruby, I will fight to protect you as long as I live."
Ruby nodded, smiling shyly. Zoe abruptly got a wicked look on her face, then shouted "Hug pile!"
Ruby squealed when William immediately jumped on her, and Alex hastily got out of the way as Zoe and Evelyn joined them on the couch. Ruby laughed loudly as they all fell off, Evelyn complaining loudly when she hit the floor first. Alex grinned as she watched them, snapping a picture on her phone before walking over to the counter, chuckling to herself as she heard the kids laughing. She watched them for a few moments, focusing on Ruby in particular, then opened her contacts and sent a quick text message.
If I say I'm buying drinks, are you in?
It took a few moments for a response to come in. When it did, it made Alex snort. You said you owe me drinks anyway, Danvers.
She shook her head fondly, sending another text. So that's a yes?
The response was quicker that time. I'll meet you at the bar.

Kara walked into Lena's lab, seeing Lena, Winn, and Max all spread out. "Have you started?" she asked.
"No," Lena shook her head, spinning back around. "The rock you brought us was drained of all its power."
"Seriously?" Dig's eyebrows shot up.
"Yeah, it all went to Olivia's transformation," Winn nodded.
"And probably trying to stay attached to her," Malcolm guessed.
"Damn it," Oliver seethed, shaking his head.
J'onn, however, frowned, looking around the room and seeing the smug look on Winn's face and the glints in Lena's and Max's eyes. "How come the three of you don't seem too devastated by that news?"
"Well," Max drawled, "if only three very intelligent humans in this room recorded the radiation signature of the sacred stone during the cult's ritual."
"And if only we scanned the heavens a little," Winn turned to his computer. "And if only the heavens obliged."
"You found it?" Kara's eyes lit up.
"We did," Max grinned.
"Now, it is very rare, but the exact same rock is hurtling through space on a meteorite about five light-years away," Winn pointed at the readings he pulled up.
"J'onn, can your ship make it that far?" Kara asked.
"Turned up the FTL drive a couple of weeks ago," J'onn calculated in his head, then nodded. "I could go with you."
"No," Kara shook her head. "No, you have to stay with your father."
"Guessing I can't volunteer?" Curtis raised his hand hesitantly.
"Unless you can survive in space?" Kara shrugged.
"Yeah, that rules most of us out," Oliver grimaced. "It's always the space missions."
"Sorry, love," Kara patted his shoulder.
"I'll go," Mon-El volunteered, making Kara nod. "The Yuda Kal rock seems to have some kind of effect on Kara, but I can handle it fine."
Something clattered in the containment unit, and Lena looked at her computer screen. Whatever she saw made her face drain of color, and with a few key clicks, she lowered the screen. Winn yelped and almost fell off his chair when he saw Reign standing up, her eyes narrowed. "She's out of bed! She broke the chains!"
"How'd she do that?" Dinah demanded.
"The Kryptonite is supposed to keep her weak!" Rene agreed.
"Her body's adapting, like Pestilence to the anti-virus," Lena gulped. "She's becoming immune."
"How long till you won't be able to keep her contained?" J'onn asked.
"I don't know," Lena shook her head miserably. "A couple of days?"
Mon-El narrowed his eyes. "Then we better get a move on."

Alex had already gotten a beer for herself when a message came through her phone that made her choke on her drink. She doubled over, coughing and trying to get her breath back.
The only thing that stopped her from jumping out of her seat and tackling the person behind her to the ground was when she recognized the comforting weight on her back. "What did you do, Alex?" Slade asked in concern.
"Decided to – " Alex coughed and gestured to her phone, then her drink. "You know."
Slade raised an eyebrow, then checked the text message Alex was looking at. "Ah," he nodded in understanding. "You saw your sister is taking a trip."
"And decided to drink at the same time," Alex finished coughing, then waved off Slade's concerned look. "I'm fine." She coughed one last time, blushing at Slade's amused look. "Really, I'm good."
"Copy that, Danvers," Slade chuckled, signaling to the bartender that he wanted a beer as well. "Oliver mentioned Ruby had her hair dyed?"
"Just the ends," Alex confirmed, smiling widely and pulling up the picture on her phone. "Evelyn did it."
Slade smiled when he saw the pure happiness on Ruby's face when Evelyn revealed her blue ends. "Now that's a look she needs to have more often."
"Yeah," Alex agreed, taking her phone back. She chewed her lip, then sighed. "She's scared that what happened to Sam is going to happen to her."
Slade raised an eyebrow, taking the beer when it was handed to him. "She thinks she may turn into a Worldkiller?" Alex nodded silently, and Slade sighed. "She shouldn't have to worry about that."
"No, she shouldn't," Alex agreed vehemently, tossing back her next sip of beer harshly.
Slade raised an eyebrow, watching her put her bottle down harder than normal. "Alex, I don't know Ruby very well, but that girl is not a Worldkiller."
"Yeah, well, we never would have thought Sam was, either," Alex said bitterly.
"Listen to me, Alex," Slade leaned forward. "If – and that's a big if – this happens to Ruby, we are all going to be there for her just like we're all here for her mother. She has the best support system she could ever get."
"I know," Alex said quietly, resting her head on her steepled hands as Slade took a drink. "It's just . . . it reminded me of Joe."
Slade did a double take, almost choking on his own drink. "Joe?" he repeated.
"I mean . . . " Alex fidgeted uncomfortably. "Like parent, like child."
Slade nodded in understanding. "The difference between me and Joe and Sam and Ruby is Joe became who he is now because I broke a promise to him and he saw a mask of me instead of who I am," he told Alex. "Ruby knows who her mother is, and it isn't Reign. That girl is not going to become a Worldkiller just because her mother is." He tapped Alex's phone. "And soon, Sam isn't even going to be a Worldkiller any longer."
"Thank God," Alex sighed, holding up her bottle. Slade clinked it with his, and both took a long drink at the same time. Alex let the beer go down before she looked at her phone. "So what exactly is this rock they're looking for?"
Slade then launched into the story of Olivia, the Rock of Yuda Kal, and the fanatics, and Alex was content to lean against the bar and listen.

"Thank you for going with Supergirl and allowing me to stay with my father," J'onn said appreciatively as he, Mon-El, and Kara entered the garage.
"Oh, yeah," Mon-El shook his head. "Of course." He smirked. "And Oliver might actually have killed me if I let her go alone."
"Oh, stop," Kara scoffed.
"Hey, I have been on the wrong end of Oliver and his three devils before," Mon-El held up his hands. "I'm not anxious to be on that end again."
"Please," Kara laughed, getting into the car. "They like you now."
"Maybe they do now," Mon-El stressed. "But if I screw up one time . . . " He mocked an arrow noise and stumbled backwards as if getting shot.
Kara let out a peal of laughter, and J'onn snickered. "Good fortune, you two."
"Thank you, J'onn," Kara smiled, then looked up at Mon-El as the Martian tossed his keys to the Daxamite. "You ready?"
"Yeah," Mon-El grinned, getting in with her. "Let's go get us a rock."
"Bangarang," Kara beamed.
J'onn saluted the two of them, and Mon-El nodded as he inserted the keys. "Home by midnight, Dad."
J'onn chuckled, backing away as Mon-El drove the car out of the garage, and when it transformed into a Martian craft, he took off into the sky, heading for space, and hopefully towards a cure for Sam.

Fighters with guns at the ready stood at attention as a man in a parka descended into the building that had just finished being evacuated, and he held his own gun at the ready. "What is it now?" he sighed, walking into the lower levels and hearing the hum of electronics. "Did the Führer have an unknown sibling that will try to resurrect the New Reich when we have clearly won?"
"Not quite, Leo," his fiancé's voice said in a strange tone that made Leo Snart tilt his head when he walked up to him. "Look at this."
Leo turned and surveyed what was in the lower level, and his eyes slowly widened as he took in the cylindrical chambers that lined the walls. "What is this?" he demanded, walking around to look.
"We don't know," Ray Terrill shook his head, tapping on one of the consoles. "But if this is anything to go by, we may have a resurrected New Reich on our hands."
Leo joined him and swallowed when he saw the plans Ray pulled up. "Cloning chambers."
"And from these designs, it looks like at least one cloning was successful," Ray nodded.
"Can we find out who?" Leo asked.
"That's what I'll call the general for to figure out," Ray nodded.
Leo nodded absently, looking up at the cloning chambers. "Who could have built something like this?" he wondered. "Surely Thawne didn't?"
"No, I don't think so," Ray shook his head. "But considering how deep into New Reich territory this is, it had to be a New Reichsman."
"None of the New Reichsmen were scientists, though," Leo frowned. Ray stiffened next to him, and Leo frowned, looking up. "Ray?"
"None of the ones we confirmed as deceased were," Ray said hoarsely.
Leo frowned, thinking about all of the New Reichsmen, then blanched. The only one not confirmed deceased . . . "Do you actually think – ?" he began.
"We need to tell the general," Ray turned the console off.
"Yes, we do," Leo agreed, rushing after his fiancé.
If they were thinking of the same New Reichsman who could have survived, they still had quite a fight on their hands before Earth-X was free of Nazis.

I said we were done with Arrow, but not quite done on Earth-1. Anyone mind if I throw "Fury Rogue" in here? ;)
That means there's only four episodes to go until the end of the book! I still can't believe that . . .
It should be easy going from here on out (until "Fury Rogue," at least, that should have a lot of original content considering everyone I'm throwing in there), so keep an eye out for an update! You never know when I may throw something your way.
