But Master couldn't forget about what happened that day. Since she was really scared, she thought she saw a clown but she didn't. She saw a guy with a long hair.

She's really scared of clowns so she thought it was a clown and when she tried to remember it, she finally remembered the real face of the person who might have killed her brother, Mike.

"It was unfair because you know where to go and I don't!" We heard James complained.

Reader's POV

Yes! I was first! I beat Mikey! As soon as we arrived, the first thing that we heard was James complaining on something.

"What's going on here?" I ask them and they both looked at us.

"Meh come first/I was first!" They both yelled at the same time.

"No meh/No me!"

"Liar/Liar!"

"STOP!" I interrupted and they both look at me. "This is not the way the two of you should act! We're grown ups now."

"She's right, we should act like grown ups because we're professional Assassins so we must act on our age right now." Mikey agreed to me.

"See? Even Mikey agreed to me. Now..." I trailed off and smirk.

"HAHA! I'VE BEAT YOU MIKEY! I TOTALLY DEFEATED YOU AND I WAS FASTER THAN YOU!" I started bragging and the three of them just stared at me while Mikey and James were sweat-dropping.

"So much for being a pro. In that case, I beat you! Wahaha!" Mikey pointed at Feitan and soon, the four of us are screaming at each other.

Soon, Mikey and James were back to their normal form which was a dog, but that didn't stop them from screaming. We continued on. I could see that Mikey was really happy seeing me happy. I don't know why though.

"What is all this ruckus about?!" A blonde hair guy interrupted all of us.

We all look at him, me James and Mikey ready to attack anytime.

"Phinks." Feitan was the first time who spoke.

"Ah, Feitan. You're back already! Just in time. Boss was waiting for your return." The guy named Phinks said.

Then he looked at Mikey, James then me.

"Why are there two dogs?" He ask.

"Those are my companions." I replied and he look at me and smirk.

"So..." He trailed off. "Is this your girlfriend?" He ask out of the blue, catching me and Feitan off-guard.

"W-wha... n-no! Of course not!" I exclaimed and I saw that there was pain in Feitan's eyes, which I have no idea why.

Feitan's POV

When Mariall said that we're not girlfriend and boyfriend, it hurt me because it just means that she's not feeling the same way as I feel towards her.

Why can't she just love me? Why not me?

"Well actually..." Mikey trailed off while wiggling his eyebrow to me.

It's either he's saying 'Tell her the way I feel towards her' or 'Ask her to be my girlfriend.' If I was right, he's suggesting me the second option but... Mariall doesn't feel the same way as I do.

"Actually what?" Phinks questioned.

Reader's POV

"Actually what?" Phinks questioned and I look at Mikey while glancing at Feitan, waiting for an answer.

"Nothing. We... friends only." Feitan said and it hurt me.

Guess we only stay as friends.

"I see." Phinks said. "Is this the people that you've been telling us a professional Assassin? Cause... they don't look like a pro to me. More like weaklings."

This made me angry.

Who's he calling angry?! 

"Ohohoh, you've mess with the wrong people mate." Mikey was already challenging him at this point but I stop him.

"Mikey!" He look at me and I slightly shook my head, which he got the message.

"Anyway, the boss is waiting for us so we should get going." Phinks said and I glare at him, which he glared back.

And with that, we all entered to what they call 'Hide-outs.' (I'll just skip formalities cauz I'm too lazy) there, I met Shalnark, Kortopi, Machi, Shizuku, Hisoka, Franklin, Bonolenov, Pakunoda, Uvogin, Nobunaga and their very boss, Chrollo.

"Before you can the Spiders, I want to see your skills." Chrollo said referring to me, Mikey and James. "Who would like to go first?"

"We'll go first." Mikey said and everyone was shock that he spoke, since he's a dog.

"Oh, how odd." Chrollo wondered while rubbing his chin.

"Our Master spray us with a special potion that can make us talk." Mikey stated and Chrollo nodded showing that he understood him.

"I see." 

"So what do we do?" James questioned.

"What are your names?"

"I'm Mikey."

"And I'm James."

Oh and by the way, did I forgot to mention that Mikey and James also learned Nen but they can only use it when they're in their human form. Mikey has the power of darkness while James has the power of light and when they combine, they become more powerful.

Since they can only use it in their human form, I have to transform them otherwise, they cannot use it when they're a dog but they have Assassin skills when they're a dog.

"So, Mikey and James, I want you to..." Before Chrollo can finish his sentence, I interrupted him.

"Excuse me! Can I make a suggestion?" As soon as I said that, everyone looked at me, which was creepy.

"Alright, go ahead." Chrollo approved my request.
