We went to some old temple like area and the Meta pulled out a crystal and crushed it in his hand,A portal opened and meta walked through it.I followed behind him and ended up on a ship.I looked around only to see a woman whose name i remembered.Halsey,The mother of Spartans.I Immediately saluted her before she said"Drop the honors six,We have a mission for you so I recommend on getting geared up"I nodded before walking around until i found the armory.When I walked in I found a couple of New AR models along with many other weapons,Yet I chose to pick up a BR with an AR along with a pistol and a load of grenades.Once I was satisfied I walked out to the bridge for debriefing.Many of the other Spartans looked at me like I was strange,I looked back at them and they looked away.Sighing I made my way down to the bridge.Once there I walked towards Halsey and another man who I didn't know"The names lasky kid,Welcome back to the frontier and welcome aboard my ship the infinity"I saluted him before asking"Sir,How many years have passed since reach?"He then spat out his coffee before saying"Kid...Reach was decades ago,Alright listen,Halsey...I knew you were bringing in an old soldier but I didn't know he was from fucking reach!His armor has to be out of date along with his weapons.We don't know how long he could stand out there before death!"Halsey then smirked before saying"He's one of my Spartans,He'll live to see many other days before he dies,Probably even more than most of your hardened veterans"Lasky then raised a brow before saying"is that a bet Halsey?"She then smirked back before saying"It is."I just stood here before saying"So what exactly is my mission?"Lasky than snapped out of his gaze with Halsey before saying"Your mission is to take out covenant forces holding down one of our bases on Kepler-09 our military installation"I then raised a brow before saying"so what am I to look out for?"He then looked back before saying"We believe there to be a high ranking zealot controlling the base"I see,So even now they kept there ranking system the same."Alright,When do I leave"He then looked as his watch before saying"Right about now"We'll that's quick"Will there be any back up?"He then responded with"We are to test your skills before we send down help.But we will have a sniper team on standby just in case"That's just amazing!"Alright I'm taking my leave then"he then nodded and I left to the ODST Pod.I walked in before I heard a voice come over the intercoms"Drop in 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...Launch"The pod shot straight down and I waited for the perfect moment to pop the umbrella

I dropped in the middle of the woods beside a water fall.i heard a phantom so I rushed under the water fall and hid behind it.There was a small opening I could hide behind and they hopefully wouldn't notice me.I turned on heat vision hoping I would be able to see them through the water but that just proved horrible wrong.I turned it off before tossing out a small minuscule drone that could fly.It flew out a little before I linked the camera to my helmet.It flew out and I watched it until the enemies left.which they did in about 1 hour.I Then walked out and followed their trail.I stood to the woods as to not be spotted,My armor was black with crimson and it had a golden visor.i then saw the taken base.I sneaked up on the side before scaling it and grabbing a jackal from the wall.Two more jackals came to check it out and I jumped up popping both of their brains like popcorn.I then heard a grunt scream out"MONSTER!"Sighing I shot him in the head,But the enemies were already alerted of our presence.
Badass music time
I drew out my weapons before smirking in my helmet.A group of grunts came up the stairs leading up here.I tossed out a nade blowing down the stairs and crushing the grunts with it.I Then pulled out my BR and aimed down on multiple targets.I popped them all in the head before jumping down and slamming onto a grunt.I pulled out my AR and sprinted from cover to cover shooting at anything that moved even the slightest,Two Hunters then came out along with a couple of elites.I sprinted up to the hunters and pulled off two grenades and rolled them under their legs before doing a backflip off their shields,I landed before shooting both of them in the head making them stumble back onto the elites.Then they all went up in a pillar of flames do to the grenade.After that I felt that I was in the scope of an enemy so I dashed to the side barely dodging a bullet.The zealot then looked down at me before growling in anger before fleeing.I saw him running along the walls so I took a ladder up.Once I made it to the top I saw him running away towards a banshee.I didn't like it so I tossed two stickies onto the banshee's engines effectively blowing it to hell along with the elite guarding it.The zealot turned to me before pulling out a sword.I,In turn also pulled out an energy sword which was luckily right beside me.we both circled each other for a good while before I heard an explosion in the court yard"Energy systems failing reactor will hit critical levels in 1 minuet please evacuate the area".Since I got distracted by the announcement the elite sprinted at me and I dodged just barely before stabbing at his side successfully scratching him.He growled before jumping at me attempting to go for a puncturing stab.I parried the attack backwards and stabbed him in the gut with my own small knife.He jumped back growling before dashing at me again.He stabbed at my shoulder effectively damaging my armor plating.I roundhouse kicked him off the wall and jumped down after him.He rolled out of the way before I could stab him in the chest.We both got back on our feet and stared at each other before we heard more explosions occurring"You decided to blow up the reactor human and now look what you did"I Then day there baffled before saying"I didn't attack the reactor,All I did was come here to eliminate any potential threats"It was his turn to be confused before he asked"Then wha-"A spike then impaled him through the chest and a giant armored gray thing walked towards me"The hell are you?"I asked,It was about to impale me before I chopped off its sword arm thing"Try again"Another one of the things came up behind me to try and stab me but I just took that ones arm and impaled it though the first ones head.while also stabbing into the other ones head"The hell are these things?"I asked to myself as they disappeared.I then heard the reactor sirens and sprinted out of the base getting out of the range of the explosion.But just barely,the base exploded and body parts were everywhere.I turned around only to see myself surrounded by dog like creatures and flying sentinel like things.I shot down the sentinels before tossing a grenade into the group of them causing them to turn into heaps of metal.The other smaller group jumped at me from behind before I kicked them all in the head in one swoop killing them all.The final few screeched and a couple more of the sentinel things came out and more dogs spawned.I shot them down before making sure to take care of all the dog creatures.A pelican then could be seen off in the distance.I tossed out a flair and the pelican seemed to fly a tad bit lower.It swooped by and I jumped in the gunner seat.The sentinel things started chasing us so I shot them down one by one but,One of them was lucky enough to graze me.I sighed before shooting it in the head.I then got inside before we took off into space.Just what the hell are those metallic things cause they are annoying!
