I stared in shock at this woman named "Yuki" because she was acting completely out of character. 

"What? What are you talking about?" The man replied, shocked.

Yuki suddenly stopped moving and her eyes changed back to normal. 

"I-I don't know what came over me," She clutched her head and her eyes started to glow again. 

Deja vu hit me.

No way.

It can't be.

Yuki suddenly dropped to the ground and a man with long black hair suddenly was standing over her.

I observed him even more and saw he was wearing the standard Hidden Mist uniform.

"What the hell did you do to Yuki?!" The man demanded. 

The Mist ninja didn't reply. "Water style, water fang bullet,"

Spikes of water circled the man and enclosed around him. He yelled out in pain and the Mist ninja almost acted coldly to him.

"It's your arrogance that got you here," He said.

His voice was deep. 

I was still standing there in shock. There's no way it's him. I haven't seen him in years.

The Mist ninja suddenly weaved a sign, which I realized was the water prison. Water started forming against the rogue ninja and once he was finally trapped, the Mist ninja looked over at me.

His golden eyes met mine.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?"

"Kuroshi?" I asked, with disbelief.

"I see you haven't forgotten me," He replied, with a small smirk. "You really should've been more careful. You're lucky I caught these two,"

"What are you doing here?" I ask. "Did you know that they were after me?"

Kuroshi shook his head. "I've been following these guys for a while because they were lurking around the Hidden Mist Village, so Lady Mizukage gave me permission to track them. I had no idea they were after you though,"

"They're after me because they want revenge against my Uncle Minato," I said to him. "I don't know how many there are, but I have a feeling there's going to be more,"

He looked surprised. "Is it because of the war?"

I nodded.

"Heal yourself and make sure you're ready. The woman is going to regain consciousness soon," Kuroshi said.

I took a medkit out of my pouch and did the best I could to make sure my wounds wouldn't bother me during a fight. Thanks to Rin, now I try to make sure I have one on every mission I go on.

I hope she's proud if she is watching over me.

Once I had my wound patched, I looked over at the woman who was still unconscious.

"What did you do to her?" I asked.

"My jutsu can mess with someone's head and if it's too much for them to handle, they end up passing out," Kuroshi answered. "Are you ready? I can't hold onto the water prison for much longer,"

I nodded and he let go. The man collapsed forward in shock and panted.

"Y-Yuki," He panted and looked over at the unconscious woman.

"Alright, Hana," Kuroshi said, standing next to me now. "Get ready,"

The man stood up and attempted to attack Kuroshi. Kuroshi dodged and then weaved a sign for another water release.

Since Kuroshi could use water style, I had an idea.

"Kuroshi, use the water chains!" I quickly told him before he could use his original attack.

"Why?"

"Just do it!"

He nodded and chains made out of water formed and wrapped around the man's ankles. 

Kuroshi gave me a look, as if he was asking what to do now. 

I weaved a sign and an electrical current formed on my hand. 

I touched the water chains with it and the man yelled out in pain. I knew that mixing water and electricity would be effective. He fell to the ground and that was my chance to get him with another rasengan.

I formed another one and ran towards him, hitting him once again.

He fell back and now, both of the rogue ninjas were laying on the ground. Kuroshi handed me a rope and we started tying the two of them up. I needed to get answers from these two.

Kuroshi then started patching his own wounds up and we waited on one of them to wake up. 

"So, are you still with that Uchiha?"

"I...I was, but he died," 

Kuroshi suddenly looked like he felt bad. "I'm so sorry for asking. I should've-"

"It's okay, you didn't know," I replied. "It happened in the war. I haven't been with anyone else since then and honestly, it still hurts me,"

He gave me a look of sympathy and didn't ask anything more about Obito.

"Has anything else changed since the last time I saw you?"

"Yeah," I replied. "A lot, actually. The war changed everything and made me lose those I cared about and then we had another attack on the village, so I lost my Aunt and Uncle because of that,"

Kuroshi was about to say something, but that's when the woman named Yuki started waking up.

She looked confused and looked at Kuroshi with fear. "You. What you just did...you're an Akamatsu, aren't you?"

Kuroshi now gave her a cold look. "You have a lot of nerve, attacking someone who wasn't even at fault for what happened,"

I was surprised at how Kuroshi's attitude changed. He seemed different from when he was talking to me, but when it came to these two, he was a completely different person.

"The Yellow Flash did unforgivable things and we won't rest until we've gotten our revenge," She spat. 

I stood up and glared at her. 

"You talk like my uncle was this horrible person and I don't like that," I said, anger starting to build up. "If anything, you guys were the reason why he had to do what he did. You guys made me lose everything. What more do you want?"

"I don't even know you," She retorted. "But what I do know, is that the only way we can get revenge is if we get to you,"

"My uncle is dead. You won't accomplish anything," I started raising my voice. 

Kuroshi stepped in, knowing I was just going to have a screaming match with her if I continued.

"And what exactly did the Yellow Flash do?"

"He killed almost everyone we cared for. He took away my husband and many of our friends. We suffered because of him," She replied icily.

"The war took everyone and everything you cared for, not the Yellow Flash" Kuroshi corrected her.

Both of us looked at him.

"Everyone lost someone or something in that war," He continued. "War sucks, but you can't blame him for what happened. He didn't do it,"

"Yes, he did!" She retorted. "I saw it with my own eyes!"

"If you want to get technical, yes he did," Kuroshi replied to her. "But it wasn't the Yellow Flash himself, it was the war. He did for the same reason you killed a few Leaf shinobi as well,"

She seemed a bit surprised at his response.

I looked down. The war was still traumatizing to me.

"He's right," I said quietly. "My uncle was a great person. He wouldn't have killed someone just because he felt like it, he did it to protect me, my aunt, and many of his comrades he cared for. It was because of that damned war, he felt that he had to do it,"

"I lost the best friend and the love of my life because of the war, but I know that if I got revenge, it wouldn't change the fact that they're dead. It wouldn't change the huge hole in my heart I have because of it,"

Yuki's gaze softened to my surprise and she no longer looked at me as hatefully as she did before.

"I understand exactly how you feel about losing your husband in the war, but killing me or trying to get revenge against my uncle isn't going to change that he's dead. It's not going to make anything better, it'll just make you hurt even more,"

Yuki finally spoke.

"There's going to be more of them," She said. "You need to be on guard. There's three more of them that will come after you for the same reason we did and they won't be so understanding like I was,"

"Do you know when they'll try and attack me?" I ask.

"No, our leader just tells us to go when he thinks it's the right time. So you need to be on guard until you've taken down all three of them," Yuki looked at Kuroshi. "So, are you going to kill me then? Mist ninja?"

Kuroshi didn't change his stoic expression. "No, I'm going to return you to the prison that you escaped from."

He rose up.

"We'll catch up another time, Hana."

He slung the man over his shoulder and then helped Yuki up, then left with them. I needed to continue my mission, so I kept on walking to the Sand Village. I had to ignore my wounds the best I could until they could get treated properly.
