The bus stops at school and all the kids hop off, including Ellie and Reagan. They walk into the ole junky middle school, surrounded by a group of kids also going into the school.

At their school, the kids that get there early are sent to the gym where you can find your friends and hang out for awhile. Ellie and her sister walk their separate ways, Ellie heading towards the far right corner, and Reagan going to sit on the bleachers.

Her friends Jaime, Aliyah, and Isla (more terrible names I'm sorry there's nothing good 😭) are already there. They wave to her and she walks on over.

Ellie listens to her friends chat and every minute or so, another friend joins the group.

When the gymnasium is packed with students, Reagan suddenly appears out of nowhere and starts talking to Ellie's friends.

"Guys! I thought of a ship name! For Adam and Ellie! It's-"

Ellie clamps her hand over Reagan's mouth before she can say anything else. Reagan pulls Ellie's hand off and quickly says 'Adellie' before Ellie shoves her out of the circle.

Ellie's friends stare at her, surprised that Ellie could be that aggressive. Ellie blushes and looks away from them.

Just then, A surge of people starts moving towards the exit of the gym. Ellie quickly moves away from her friends so they don't ask any questions. But of course, Reagan comes up behind her, dragging Adam by his wrist.

Adam is struggling to wriggle out of Reagan's grasp. His face goes red when he sees Ellie. 

Ellie starts running now. She dodges between kids and ignores the hall staff when they tell her to walk. She reaches her locker and remembers that Adam's locker is only a few down from hers.

So much for that. What a wonderful day this was going to be.

There was some high intensity action in this chapter.
Such intensity.
