Phoebus Apollon is the sun. He was the bright star that shone so brightly during the day, it was his domain — his home and power. His name meant destroyer, and so he was. He went out and destroyed everything in his sight until his boiling fury waned; Only he would know when that was, not even his sister, his twin, could sway his fury. He was once known for his temper, causing plagues and laying waste, doling out harsh punishments because it was in his nature. It was tragic that the mortals assumed that the sun was this big and bright beautiful thing, but they forgot one thing; It's hot. And much like the sun, Apollo had to burn.

Colette Soleil Victoire was so much like her father. In fact, some would say she was too much like him. Whilst most of her siblings were known for their sunny dispositions and all around gentleness, she had a fury and temper that rivaled Apollo's. She, much like him, was a strange contradiction: Warlike and bred for bloodshed but creative, wise but ferocious, loving but jealous, tender but brutal, and compassionate but vengeful. She was quite literally his "mini me" that he cherished oh-so dearly. Though, while they shared so many similarities, they held their many and obvious differences — ones that would increase with time.

Apollo was divine and Colette only shared half of that very divinity. His veins burned with radiant ichor and hers thrummed with mortal crimson. However, she was his spawn, his child; A demigod in her own right. Demigods, no matter how small, have ichor in their veins. She had enough divinity in her soul to feel exactly what gods feel, though, perhaps, in smaller doses. She had a hunger for violence, cruelty, and selfishness. She was half divine and ichor burned just as much as the sun.

☀️ . . . Destined soulmate trope! Mhm, prophesied love and the angst of growing up as children of the gods, forced into their shadow.

☀️ . . . In regards to face claims: Dove and Daya have always been my face claims for Lettie and Annie, but I had Ryan Ochoa as my face claim for Perce. Though, I noticed that not everyone was a fan of that pick, specifically the pick for Percy. Ryan was the only actor I could find that was Latino, light-eyed, and a brunet. He has exactly what I imagine as Percy's eyes, but he's not everyone's cup of tea visually. Most people also were viewing him the way he looks now. But, when I picked him, all I could see was how he looked on ICarly (when I had the fattest crush on him). Again, he's not everyone's taste, so I will be leaving it up to your imagination when it comes to Percy's face claim. However, I will be describing him as a Latino with deeply tanned skin, a Puerto Rican and Dominican accent (especially when he speaks Spanish) because of my face claim for Sally (Michelle Rodriguez's parents are Boricua and Dominican) as well as a heavy New York accent for when he's speaking English, and there will be a lot of Spanish included in his dialogue.

☀️ . . . This also involves face claims, but not in my story, this is more so just a comment I want to make about the PJO fandom lmao. Can I just say that I love it so much? Before the casting of the PJO show came out, when you looked for "Annabeth Chase Aesthetic" on Pinterest, it was all white girls. When you look up that same thing now? There's a mix of black girls and white girls. Yes, most of the black girls being used as an example of what everyone's Annie looks like have dyed blonde hair, but a good portion of them don't. To summarize this rant, I just wanna say I love how quick this fandom is to change what used to be their norms after Leah was picked as our beautiful Wise Girl. (Walker, Leah, and Aryan are all my children; If you disrespect them, you will be disrespected right back.)

At the beginning of the story, there's an extremely simple and (imo) barely detailed prologue that only gives you all the slightest bit of insight to how Colette began her demigod life, however, there are parts of her story that will be revealed as the story continues. She has a lot of lore that I can't wait for you guys to find out about.
