Golden walks through the door and chuckles at us. He motions towards Fred, "why don't you show him around." Fred suddenly give me a warm hug. Then, he takes me by my wrist and pulls me to the stage.
"This is the only stage you and I can perform on. I heard you play guitar, so I bought one for you." He goes behind the curtain, and he returns with a shiny red guitar. It looks expensive too. I look at him and it feels like he's staring into my soul. "Can you play?"
“Right now?”
"Yeah, can you please?" He begs me and I immediately give in. Climbing on stage, I pick up the guitar and sit on an empty chair. Fred and Golden are watching me intently. My smoothly run my fingers over the strings, causing them to vibrate.
I look back up at them and ask, "what do I play?"
"Try Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, the kids love that one," Golden says, and Fred nods in agreement.
I take a deep breath, readjusting the strings and testing them. Then, I begin to play each note perfectly, note missing a single beat. Fred picks up his mic and does a simple test to see if it's on. His voice comes out loud from the speakers. We make eye contact, then he begins to sing.

When the blazing sun is gone,
When he nothing shines upon,

I finished off with a few extra notes, and look up to see Fred clapping, while Golden whistles at the two of us.
"That was excellent! Bravo! Now get ready to do that twenty times more because it's time to open up." Fred walks across the stage and pats my shoulder while Golden walks off towards the back. Foxy comes out giving me a death glare, but sets it aside to guide people to their seats. This is going to be a long day.
Golden was right when he said the kids love that one song. I literally had to play it over and over. My hands started to hurt from performing so much, and Fred was seemingly getting exhausted. When it was our lunch break, Foxy walked over to Fred and I.
"Lunch is ready . . ." He turns back on his heel and heads for the kitchen. He acts so cold and distant, it's scary even.
Fred placed a hand on my shoulder and I looked over to him. "Don't worry about him. He's always like this, but once you get to know him you barely notice it," he pulls his hand away and takes off to the kitchen.
I place my guitar down and climb off stage. My shoes clicked on the hard floor. The kitchen was not that hard to find. Golden, Fred, and Foxy sat around a table with cups and a large supreme pizza in the middle. Fred reached for a slice and took a bite. I pulled out a chair and watched everyone eat. A plate was put in front of my face with a single slice on it.
"Eat some Bonnie, you'll need the energy for later," Gold smiled at me and I accepted the plate. He then chuckled at Fred attempting to eat his seventh slice.
Foxy on the other hand ate his food looking off into space. His red hair covered his right eye while the other yellow eye seemed depressed. He took notice of me and stood up. He grabbed the top of my shirt with his normal hand and held me one foot off the ground.
My heart was racing and my blood was pumping. I couldn't hear anything that was happening around me. His icy-cold glare frightened me and the next thing I remember was being dropped to the floor. My knees had no strength to keep me standing. Golden had Foxy arm locked and forced him to leave the kitchen. Fred helped me sit up on a chair near the table.
My heavy breathing turned into a slight wheezing. Fred's eyes widened as he opened his mouth to yell something I couldn't hear. Golden came running in here and over to me. He cupped both sides of my face with his hands and looked me in the eye.
My vision was a little blurry as I could no longer breathe normally. I watched hazily as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small container of pills that I handed over to him earlier today.
His mouth motioned something to Fred, and he turned his attention towards me.
