Just a Normal Day ✔
{Bonnie's}
Freddy and I were about finished when Chica rolled on in from the kitchen. "Hey, Bon? Do you think I should ask her now?" Oh yeah, Freddy has a crush on Chica. I thought that might be important to mention. It all started a few days ago, but I don't remember how it actually originated.
"Go ahead. She's already walking over here."
"What!?" Chica waltzed over and handed me a set of keys, "I'm going to go study with a friend. We both have to take the final exams, so can you hold down the fort by yourself?"
"Yes, mom," I said rolling my eyes. She smiled warmly, but a loud horn blew outside getting her attention.
"Bye boys!" She winked and then took off outside yelling, "Hi!" I looked over at Freddy, and he was on the floor, curled up. I used a broom to poke his side.
He lazily turned his head to me, "Bonnie, I'm dead right now. That was my only chance!" Now he was acting like a pure child. I pulled him up to his feet and patted his shoulder.
"They're just friends, there's no way they would go out together. Trust me." He only trudged away to his own little office down the hall. I was all alone with my trustee broom. I think Gold was still here filing the reports. I set my broom aside, brushed myself off, and walked to his office.
"ACHOO!" I hesitantly knocked, and a muffled voice telling me to enter. "You okay in here?" He grabbed a tissue gingerly and blew his nose.
"Not really. My head just started hurting like crazy. Worst of all, my nose won't stop running." I checked his forehead, and it was extremely warm.
"Gold maybe you should go home. You might be really sick, so that means a lot of rest!" I suggested.
"But I have so much work left to do. I can't just set aside because of some cold!" Stubborn like always.
"Fine, but try to get some rest. ok?" I gave in.
"Okay, okay!" He waved me off and started on the papers again that littered his desk. Sighing, I left his office and got my things together. Taking one reassuring look around, I decided to leave. As a get-well present, my mom thought I needed a new car. Even though it was Foxy's truck that got totaled. I unlocked my beauty which I call my car. It was a dark hue of green, sometimes mistaken to be black at night, with a black interior. Putting my stuff in the back seat, I sat down in the driver's seat.
I really do love my mom, but why a car? She must have used her partner's wallet. I shook my head and started the car. A nice hum emitted from the engine. I put it in drive, pulled out, and headed straight for home. When I got there, I settled for a movie and some popcorn.
Unlocking the door, I walked into the kitchen and started the gas stove. With not a moment later, I placed some popcorn on top of it and went to my room. I can't leave the stove unattended for long, so I threw on some black flannel pants and a black t-shirt that hung off my body a little. Tossing the dirtied uniform in the bin, there was a loud pop!
"Oops," I quickly enter the kitchen area and move the popcorn off the pan. My phone started to ring off the hook, blasting the ringtone real loud. I walked over to my phone that I set on the counter. It was Chica? I picked up, and her voice wavered in the air.
"Hello?" I asked. I heard a lot of moving around, but that's all I received. Knowing well that she wasn't going to respond, I ended the meaningless call. In the end, I decided to get some sleep instead. I left the popcorn there and turned off the stove. Shuffling to my room, while also turning the lights off, I climbed under my covers. This had been The most eventful-packed day this month so far.
~The following morning~
{Foxy}
"Wait, what?" I could barely make out what the lass was trying to say. "Just come to work ASAP!" Chica yelled, and she hung up. I sighed, brushing the hair out of my face. Mangle was still asleep, so I took a sticky note off the Fridge. 'help yourself till I get back from work,' placing it back on the fridge. Getting myself ready, I groomed my hair and tied some of it back. I didn't look that bad, so I left in my clean uniform.
When I got to work, the place was packed, basically overflowing with people. Kids were waiting outside in a line. I found a spot luckily, parked, and dashed to use the back entrance. It was slightly packed in here too. What's going on?
Chica spotted me through the ocean of snot-smeared brats, which makes me think that their parents are not good at being, well you know, parents! She struggled her way to me and took me by my wrist. She drug me to Gold's office and closed us inside.
"I'm glad you're here. Gold is sick, and you are his replacement. Don't ask questions. He left you instructions on the desk, so good luck!" With that, she ran out, closing the door behind her.
As the day went on, my brain was everywhere. There were so many reports that need filing, kids that need to be escorted from the premises, and I had to make sure the place was clean before going home! Does Gold really go through this every day?
I scratched my head from all the stress. Chica gave me her report, Freddy did too, and Bonnie is finishing his up at the moment. I stood up from the desk and stared at this weird picture of Gold's family on vacation on the wall. Why Mexico of all places? Why not Disney Land or The Grand Canyon?
