Third Person's POV

I had to let her know. I know how JungKook is and I couldn't take the chance of letting him risk his life for Chae. Although I rather have that but still I rather have them go in together instead of separate. They've been through enough things by themselves, they need to do this together to get closure for each other. Me on the other hand will not show myself until I need to. I won't stay hidden forever.

JungKook's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about what Chae had said to me back at the grave yard. What exactly does she know? If she knows, how does she know? Was it the same person who keeps texting me? What is going on? Why is this happening to us? Who is this person who keeps texting me?

All these questions run through my mind as I sat in Chae's room next to her sleeping body as her baby snores brought a smile to my lips.

"I will never let anything happen to you. You are my everything and I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. After everything settles, I'll take you out of Korea for a break and we'll have the best time in our lives together. We just have to wait to finish this before we get our freedom. I promise you baby."

I say as I bring my hand to her cheek. I kiss her on the head and lay next to her falling asleep.

Jin's POV

After returning to the dorm I went straight to my room and let out a big sigh. Having to worry about Chae over a small thing is scary. Especially since she's the only person I have left closest to Yoongi. Although I have the guys, when I look at Chae, I see Yoongi and that makes me sad and happy at the same time. Seeing him through her makes me feel assured that he is always with us but I remember about his death and I just become sad. Even so, I wouldn't want anything to happen the Chae. Not after what Yoongi has done for me up until now.

*Flash back to when Yoongi and Jin first meet*

I was just starting middle school. I had no friends and everyone made fun of me. They made fun of what I wore to school and how I looked. One day I was coming home from last studies at school for an midterm exam. I made my way through a shortcut to my house and the bullies from my school where waiting for me. I didn't know they knew where I lived but they did. I thought I could pass them without them noticing but fail terribly.

"YAH! Four-eyes, where do you think you're going?" One said

"H-h-home" I stuttered afraid.

They laugh at me.

"You aren't going anywhere until we're finished with you" another one said

"W-w-what a-are you going t-to do?" I ask still scared for my life.

They threw their backpacks at me.

"You're going to do all of our homework and it has to be done by tomorrow" the first one said

"I-I c-can't it's a-against the-the rules" I said

They laugh again and the second one points at me

"You will do them secretly" then he laughs

I didn't reply. They were going to walk away when I spoke, which I later regretted speaking. The 2 look at each other smirking, they turned back to me and walked towards me. I couldn't do anything but freeze as I realized what I had just done. One of them punched my stomach and the kicked me down to the ground. Next thing I know I'm covering my face while getting kicked and punched. Closing my eyes hoping for all of it to be over soon.

"*groans* Stop please" I said weakly before the punches and kicks stopped.

I looked up slightly to see a boy about my size maybe a little bigger hitting the bullies.

"You want to bully people?! I hate people like you dirt bags!!" He shouted as he stood up spitting on them.

The 2 bullies stood up grunting in pain.

"This isn't over Kim SeokJin! As for you, whoever you are, watch your back" said the second one leaving the scene with the first guy.

The guy who beat those guys came to me and helped me up.

"Are you ok?"

I just nodded and wiped the dirt off my pants and shirt.

"You're hurt"

He says as he points to my busted lip, bleeding nose, and my arms that had red markings from being kicked. He walked closer to me and lifted up my shirt which I pulled down in a split second.

"I knew it, you're bruised where your ribs are." He sighs.

I brought my hand to the bruised area and winced.

"Come with me" He said walking towards the direction of the neighborhood I lived in.

I didn't say anything but followed him. When we got to a house I looked up from my bruised arm to see a huge house.

"This is where I live, my mom can help clean you up before we take you home. Let's not cause your parents a hard time seeing you like this." He smiled at me.

I stood there shook. He saw that I wasn't following him so he came to drag me.

"Mom, I'm home!" He shouted

"Hi baby, what would you li- who is this?" The woman says as she leaves the kitchen entering the living room where we were.

"This is SeokJin." The guy replied

"oh sweetie what happened to you?" The lady said moving in closer.

I just looked away not wanting to say anything.

"I saw him getting beat up by these 2 bad guy our age. So I went to help" The guy said sighing.

She shook her head and went into the bathroom caring out the first aid kit. She told me to sit on the couch and she helped clean up my wounds and put a wrap around my bruised rib cage.

"Those kids are mean, look how badly they hurt you" The lady said finishing cleaning me up.

Just then a man walked in with a briefcase.

"Honey I'm home" He spoke in a deep voice.

He looked into the living room and froze.

"Who's that little man?" He spoke to the boy my age.

"Appa, this is SeokJin I saw him getting beat up by these 2 bad guy our age. So I went to help him and then brought him here."

His dad gave him a high five and came up to me.

"Where do you live?" The man asked me

As I was still kind of scared I didn't say anything.

"Its alright, we're good people. We won't hurt you" He assured me.

Speaking for the first time after what happened I told him where I lived.

"Come on, we'll take you home." He said sticking out his hand to me.

Trusting him I reached out and held his hand. We all left the house and made our way to my house. Once we get there they waited to make sure I get inside. I rang the bell and my worried mom opened the door.

"Oh honey where have you been? I've been worried sick. OMO what happened to your precious face?" She said hugging me and looking at my face.

"Omma, I'm fine."

"I saw him getting beat up by these 2 bad guy our age. So I went to help him" The boy said from behind me.

My mom looked and saw them. She asked them who they were and they told her how they had just moved into the neighborhood last weekend and that they were helping me out. She thanked them and invited them into the house. The entered and I went to get them water. When my mom thanked them again my dad came down from his room.

"What's with all the chatter?" my dad spoke

"Oh, Mr. Kim!" The boys dad said in shock

"Mr. Min, what are you doing here?" my dad questioned

"You guys know each other?" The boys mom and my mom said at the same time.

"Ah, Mr. Min is the new transfer to my office." My dad said

"Honey, this is my boss." The boys dad said

They nodded their head and the boys dad looked back at my dad.

"We brought you son home" He replied

They did the whole explaining again and my dad thanked them then looked at me.

"Who were the boys hitting you son?" He asked me

I looked down and sighed.

"It's alright son, tell me."

"It was Minho and Jun" I said still looking down.

"I knew it" My mother said.

My dad shook his head.

"I'm going to your school tomorrow. They can't keep doing this to you. We're going to take care of this ok son" I just nodded in return.

After having dinner with them they made their way out.

"Thank you for dinner Mrs. Kim." The boy said smiling.

As they left the boy turned back.

"Hey SeokJin, I'm Yoongi, Min Yoongi. Let's be friends."

I just nodded.

The following day after meeting the principle with my parents and the parents of Minho and Jun, I went to sit in my seat coming to find Yoongi sitting in my seat.

"There you are Jin. I was waiting for you."

I just looked a him shocked. He told me how his parents transferred him to this school because he wanted to go school with me. And that's how I got the nickname Jin.

From then on he's been by my side and taught me how to fight. We then met NamJoon later on after.

*end of flash back*

Because he's always by my side I can't not let Chae Rin get hurt for Yoongi. That's the least I could do for him.

Chae's POV

I woke up to see JungKook Oppa by my side. I turn to look at my phone that was on my side bed drawer.

7:30AM Saturday

I got up and got ready. As I was about to go make breakfast I received a text from an unknown number.

"Come back to the boxing club. You'll be boxing every morning and night from now on until its not needed anymore."

I made breakfast from JungKook and quietly got my black bag putting my leggins, sports bra, towel, and extra hair ties into the bag. I then went to grab 2 water bottles. I grabbed a piece paper and wrote that I had left and will be back around noon. And for them not to worry about me.

I put on my converse and left the apartment and headed to the boxing club.

When I reached the boxing club there was a note on the door telling me to go towards the back room as there was a private boxing room back there. The same man from last night was there with the same stuff as last night. Small black fanny pack that contained a tape recorder.

"We have eyes on Chae Rin. As you want she'll be our main target but we also have eyes on JungKook. I have my men watching the hospital where HyunWoo is in. We'll moving in once you give us the signal. And as you requested my men followed JungKook and find out where he goes."

I sigh, broke the tape and went to change and started to box with the guy.

JungKook's POV

I woke up to Chae's spot empty. I looked at my phone.

10:13AM

I got up and saw that there was food on the table but no Chae, I checked the bathroom but nothing. I went to go grab a cup of water when I noticed the note on the fridge saying that she'll be back around noon. I was going to call her and ask where she had went but a phone call to me beat me first. I picked up and all I heard was someone pushing a button.

"We have eyes on Chae Rin. As you want she'll be our main target but we also have eyes on JungKook. I have my men watching the hospital where HyunWoo is in. We'll moving in once you give us the signal. And as you requested my men followed JungKook and find out where he goes."

Then dial tone.

I didn't think twice and left heading to my dad's hideout. If they see what I'm planning everything could be ruined.
