Lucifer pov

Father holds Rin close to him as he relaxes. Father wraps Rin in his tail. Rin starts drowsily talking about his dream and he speaks in broken syllables. "Yukio... blood... everyone... hurt..." Father shushes him and Rin goes back to sleep. 

"your brothers told me everything. The treaty is still going to be signed. The sooner we can get Rin home the better," Father says with a sigh. I lay my head near Rin and I pet his hair. "I was going to groom his tail but I couldn't find it. He must have learned how to hide it or was taught." I say cuddling closer to Rin. I gently rub against the cloth and he flinches. 

I sigh. "Can I see the damage?" Father asks. I nod and I gently take the tape and the cloth off. The scratches loomed ominously on Rin's cheek. Father glares at the marks. It certainly doesn't help that they were created by demon nails.  I create a new cloth with disinfectant. Rin's wound has already begun to heal. I press the cloth to agist Rin's cheek. Rin hisses at this in his sleep. He tries to get away from the cloth.

Rin tries to bat at my arm but Father tightens his tail around Rin. Rin stops squirming and relaxes. Father pets his hair and Rin relaxes. I take the cloth off Rin's cheek. Rin wakes up and looks around drowsily. We both wait for his reaction. Once Rin sees what is happing he shrieks and Father unravels his tail from Rin. Rin runs away from us. 

Father is saddened by this but Rin's reaction is understandable. Rin has only heard of our power and how much of monsters we are. He doesn't know the reasons for our actions or that we have feelings. He thinks that we are monsters. That is what he was brainwashed to think.

Rin pov

I look around and I freak out. I press myself against the corner of the room. I sit down and try to disappear. How did they get in here? I am scared. They stay still and they just look at me from my bed. I stay in the corner. I feel a pain in my cheek. Then I remember. Yukio hit me. 

I touch it lightly and there is blood? Lucifer the demon king walks over and sits down next to me and puts a cloth on my cheek. "What happened?" I ask. "Your "brother" scratched you with his demon nails and you were in a lot of pain. Your friends Izumo and Shura gave you pain medication. I and the rest of your real brothers came to take care of you. The pain medication made you drowsy and now it has worn off. One of your scratches is still bleeding a little. Your demon healing should heal them up in a day or so but you need to keep the wound clean." Lucifer explains.

The cloth stings when it touches my cheek. I hold it against my cheek and my hand touches lucifer. "Thanks," I say while looking Lucifer in the eye. Its an apology for screaming when I saw him a few minutes ago. "Its a family's job to care for each other. Besides I am not the only one who helped took care of you. Father and Samael helped quite a bit and Astaroth got your food." Lucifer explains.

"oh" I reply kinda sadly. "But I still appreciate it. So thank you for being grateful," Lucifer adds. I smile. "You are welcome," I reply. Lucifer smiles. The door opens with a crash and I look over. "We heard a scream is everything ok?" Samael the demon king of time asks. "Yes everything is fine and lower your voice you scared Rin," Satan says slightly scolding Samael.

"Sorry I was just worried about my brothers," Samael says relived. "Why is Rin on the floor?" The demon king of water asks Lucifer. Lucifer glares at him. "He got scared when he woke up from his nap and went over in the corner," Satan replies sadly. My other brothers all look at me and I try to bury myself in the corner. 

They frown at this and I feel like a disappointment. Lucifer looks at them and hisses "Stop that you are making him feel bad!" Lucifer growls. They are shocked but they divert their eyes. "Thanks for helping me," I say to all of them. They all look at me and smile happily. I feel better. 

"Can we see how well it is healing?" Samael asks Lucifer. Looks at me asking for permission and I nod. He removes the cloth. The air hits my cheek. Samael sits down and he looks at my wound. He sighs. "Can I get a mirror?" I ask Lucifer. Lucifer nods and he hands me a mirror out of nowhere. I look at the marks and I am surprised. Four long scratches along my cheek. There is bruising around the scratches. I touch it gently and the scratches are real.

"Yukio did this?" I ask myself. "From what we were told. yes," Lucifer says. I hand him back the mirror. The wound still hurts but not as much as... "what time is it?" I ask Lucifer. "Around six pm." Lucifer replies "Oh no, I missed lunch with you guys," I say realizing what happened. "We had lunch in your room and besides we still have your plate," Lucifer says as he gets up and brings it over to me. I eat it.

After I finish I lay my head on Lucifer. He smells nice. 

Lucifer pov

Rin lays his head on me. My family becomes extremely jealous. I put one of my arms around him and I pull him closer. My brothers are fuming at this point Father just glares at me. I give Rin a small kiss on the forehead. Astaroth and Azazel restrain Samael from coming here and hurting me. Father growls at me and he leaves.

Rin whines because of how angry everyone is getting. I cover his eyes and I cover him with my body. My brothers leave as well. Samael stays behind. "Once your done dinner is ready and Father wants you to eat with us," Samael says as he leaves. I roll my eyes.

"Hey, Rin is it ok if I leave to go eat dinner?" I ask. Rin looks sad but he nods. "If you are up for it you could come to dinner with us. Even if you aren't hungry we would love it if you came." I add. Rin lights up and he nods. "I don't want to be alone and I am still a bit hungry." He adds.

We walk to the dining room. "Rin is joining us for dinner," I say as I sit down next to Father. Rin sits next to me. "Did you really drag him here just to make us jealous." Azazel groans. "No, He didn't I didn't want to be alone and besides I am still hungry," Rin says.

Azazel nods and dinner is brought out. I can tell my brothers are jealous that Rin is sitting next to me.
