Memories Are But Visions

"Class B come with me before any of you go anywhere, I have to talk to all of you about a few things before you go do what you wanna do." Vlad said as he guided his class over to an area away from Class A.

"Don't make me regret letting you all decide what to do on your own." Aizawa said to his own class. After explaining for what seemed like forever why the Big Three were at the camp and why he was letting the students decide what types of exercises they would be doing, they were finally free to decide what to do.

Except for one person.

"Follow me kitten!" Ragdoll cheerfully called Enso with a wave, walking back towards the forest.

Enso reluctantly followed her with mixed looks from everyone.

"I wonder if it'll be okay?" Mandalay wondered curiously.

Izuku watched them with a worried look, "Yeah... Hopefully, Enso doesn't do anything bad to Ragdoll."

Mandalay looked down at Izuku and smiled, "Actually, I was referring more to Enso's sake."

"Huh? For Enso?" he glanced at Mandalay.

Mandalay chuckled, "You don't really know Ragdoll that well. She's pretty good at getting into people's heads and can understand them very well, even more than they may understand about themselves sometimes. There are times where she can be a little overwhelming, I wonder if Ureshi can deal with someone like her?"

Izuku turned his attention back to Enso walking to the forest, "Will Enso be alright?"

However, as Ragdoll and Enso were about to enter the forest, an angry voice was heard.

"Wait a damn minute!"

Enso stopped in place with his back facing everyone.

Bakugo had his palms open with small explosions as his menacing red eyes glared directly at Enso. "Where the hell do you think you're going?" he gritted between his teeth.

Enso tilted his head and glanced back at Bakugo, "I have to comply and go with Ragdoll, as you've heard."

Bakugo began taking steps towards Enso with his hands clenched into fists, "Like hell you are! Now that we have this chance, we're finally gonna settle this!

Aizawa sighed and facepalmed, "Oh for the love of god..."

Izuku was actually shocked to hear this, "Kacchan wants to fight Enso now!? If anything, I thought he would prefer to go for the Big Three to prove himself!"

Enso squinted his eyes, "There is nothing to settle. If this is about the sports festival, you won that match as I recall."

"Don't gimme that! You know good as well that half-assed match doesn't mean shit!" Bakugo shouted.

Enso fully turned his body to face Bakugo as he was getting closer, "Remember what I said before? Get stronger and change your mentality. As you are now, you're not only weaker, but you don't deserve to have a fight of respect."

Bakugo's eyes widened and his pupils dilated in anger, "What the hell did you say!?" he said as he neared him, preparing to shove his ignited palm right at Enso.

Ragdoll intervened and popped up right in front of Bakugo, stopping him. She waved both of her hands in front of him with a closed-eyed smile.

"Now, now kitten! Let's not be too hasty!"

Seeing the adult in front of him, the explosions in his hand weakened, but he was still just as angry, "Tsk! Sensei said we could do what we want, so move aside!"

"But think about it! You're smarter than this!" Ragdoll said with both fingers pointing at the blonde boy.

Bakugo squinted his eyes at her.

She continued, "Look at yourself right now. You're not in the right shape to fight after working so hard! You'd just be at a disadvantage! You should wait until you're both at your best before going at it, otherwise, won't it just be another meaningless fight?" she opened her eyes at him.

Bakugo looked down at himself and saw his arms still slightly shaking from all the huge explosions that he had done in just one evening. He tilted his head back up and let his arms go to his side.

"This isn't over red eyes, we will settle this!" he snapped, his claim echoing as he turned his back to Enso, comedically marching off in anger as he yelled, "Damn it!"

There was silence among everyone as Bakugo marched away. His angry stomps crumbling dirt and kicking up dust underneath.

"She managed to calm him down." Izuku muttered as he lowered his head and let out a sigh of relief.

"You shouldn't jinx it or something else will happen." Mandalay telepathically sent to him.

Sadly, Mandalay's warning came true as Enso just had to say something, "I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but we have the same colored eyes."

Bakugo turned around with angry veins on his head and two small explosions came from his palms, "WHAT WAS THAT SMARTASS!? YOU REALLY WANNA FIGHT DON'T YOU!?"

"Enso stop triggering people!" Izuku comedically shouted.

"I'LL FIGHT YOU TOO DEKU!" Bakugo screamed at him.

"What did I even do!?!" Izuku yelled with a face of pure confusion.

Kirishima and Kaminari quickly went up and held Bakugo back, "Wait, Bakugo calm down!"

"LET GO OF ME YELLOW AND WEIRD HAIR!" Bakugo shouted as he struggled to leave their arms, getting hauled back.

The class sweatdropped.

"He'll never change will he?" Ochako sighed.

Ragdoll's face puffed up and water formed in the corner of her eyes, "Mmph, pfft! Hahahahaha!!" she then began laughing hysterically and rolled on the ground, "Eraserhead, your kids are so damn funny!"

"What an immature adult..." the students thought disappointingly.

"...Are we leaving?" Enso impatiently asked as he looked down at Ragdoll holding her stomach from laughing.

Ragdoll immediately shot up to her feet. "Yes, sir we are!"

"She got up just like that!?" they thought, blue with shock.

"Let's go!" Ragdoll shouted, then literally leaping between some trees like a cat and disappearing from sight. Enso sighed before jumping at the same place and disappearing as well.

Pixie-bob bit her paws in anger with fire in her eyes, "A man and woman alone together in the forest, I don't like it! That should be me! Ragdoll, you better not do anything, I'm gonna have him during this camp if it's the last thing I do!"

"Why does it look like you're gonna kill someone?..." Mandalay sweatdropped.

Aizawa rubbed his head and let out an irritated sigh, "Great, even the adults here are annoying..." he then looked over at the students.

"I'll see you all tonight for dinner, I hope you make effective use of your time. You're all dismissed."

The instanced he finished, the students excitedly chattered among themselves. There were so many things that they could do for training, some things of which, could actually be fun for them to do.

"Let's race!"

"Let's find a river to swim in!"

In everyone's enthusiasm, Shinso walked over to Aizawa and tugged on his sleeve.

Aizawa glanced down at him and raised an eyebrow, "Hm? What is it Shinso? Go do what you want already."

"Yeah, and right now what I want is to train with you." Shinso grinned.

"Oh?" Aizawa turned his body to face Shinso, looking down at him.

Shinso reached up and pulled on Aizawa's scarf with one hand and pointed at it with the other, "I still need to learn how to use these. It's the best I'll have if I ever wanna fight that overpowered edgelord after all."

Aizawa let out a chuckle, "You've still got a long way to go. So far, Ureshi has trained you effectively in basic combat and even taught you a few things on using these." he said as he used his right hand to hold up his scarves. "But what he taught you was only rookie things, you're still far off on mastering them like me. You've spent far too much time with him, but now that we have this time, I'm gonna be the one teaching the ropes to you."

Shinso formed a smug grin, "Spent far too much time with him you say? Could it be that you're actually jealous that I've been spending more time with him rather than you?"

A vein of irritation formed on the side of Aizawa's head. He gripped onto his scarves and pulled them down as his hair went upward and his eyes lit up red. "I see you're asking for your lesson already." he fiercely said with an evil grin.

Shinso felt a shiver down his spine as Aizawa's shadow comedically overtook him. "Shit."

"Ah, looks like they seemed to have forgotten about us from their own excitement." Mirio chuckled.

"That's a good thing, I don't want much to do with them..." Tamaki gloomily said.

Nejire on the other hand quickly rushed over to Izuku and held him by his hands, doing small hops of bubbly excitement as she asked, "Hey Midoriya, what'll you be doing!?"

Feeling her soft hands on his and remembering how close and bouncy she was, Izuku gulped nervously and turned his head away as his face warmed up.

"Actually, I-I don't know what I-I'll be doing..." he mumbled.

Her eyes lit up with stars as her face moved closer to Izuku's with a bigger smile, "You wanna do something with us then!?"

Izuku sweatdropped, "She doesn't seem to know the concept of personal space..." However, he couldn't help but smile at her excited, childlike eyes "She's really that excited for me to be with them? I'm kind of flattered..."

Feeling more confident, he straightened up and wore a proud smile, "I would be honored to learn from the Big Three, so sure!" he answered, even holding Nejire's hands tighter.

"You two look like you're having fun." Ochako said with a calm looking close-eyed smile behind Izuku.

His head snapped to her in shock, "EH!? Ochako!?!" He then became more conscious of the soft feeling of Nejire's hands and immediately pulled away while flailing his arms. "U-Um! Th-This is not what it looks like! She was just asking me what I was gonna do for independent training!"

Ochako kept her fake smile on, standing still.

"You two look like you're having fun."

"She said it again! I think she's angry!" Izuku thought as he turned blue.

"Hm?" Nejire tilted her head to Ochako and examined her. It only took her a moment to recognize her, growing her excitement even more before suddenly appearing right in front of her with more stars. "Hey! You're Uraraka Ochako! I saw you at the sports festival too! Your battle against Bakugo was amazing! I loved how you purposely got him to blast around you in order to make all those rocks float up!"

"Wh-What?" Ochako uttered, her fake smile changing into a taken aback flustered look from the sudden compliments the blue-haired beauty gave.

Nejire held both of Ochako's hands and did more bubbly hops, "Your quirk is amazing! Do you actually make things float!? Or do you take away their gravity?! How you start and stop using your quirk!?"

Ochako blinked multiple times as she processed Nejire's questions, forming an embarrassed look on her face as she tried to determine how to answer all of these questions at once.

"W-Well... My quirk is called Zero Gravity, what it does is that by touching a solid object with my fingertips, it loses its gravitational pull and is what basically makes it float. I can deactivate my quirk by pressing my fingertips on my hands together." she said mimicking the action by gently pulling her hands from Nejire and pressing each fingertip together onto the opposing ones.

"Really!?" Nejire asked, intrigued as if she was a child listening to a bedtime story.

Ochako slightly backed her head up as Nejire leaned closer, sweatdropping. "Um, but I have a limit of about three tons for the things I can make float, otherwise I get nauseous..." she said with a little shame.

Nejire looked slightly disappointed to hear that, "Ehhhh? Really? That must suck for you..." but her smile immediately returned, "But it's still a really strong quirk!" she beamed.

Ochako backed up and her eyes shot everywhere as she let out an embarrassed laugh, "Ha, ha, you really think so?!"

Izuku let out a relieved sigh, "Wow, it seems Nejire's bubbly personality actually calmed Ochako down... I guess it's hard to be mad around her."

Izuku then felt his back getting playfully slapped, nearly making him stumble forward. "Gah!"

"Haha! So Midoriya, so what are we gonna do together?" Mirio asked, being the one that was behind Izuku.

"T-Togata?" Izuku uttered, surprised to see him there.

Mirio laughed, "Now, now, no need for formalities, you and your interesting classmates can call me whatever you want!'

"So... Togata?" Izuku repeated.

"Mirio is fine," the blond then insisted. "Anyways, so figure out what sort of crazy thing you're gonna do? Punch a giant robot, break your arms, or will it be something new?" he laughed.

A shade of red formed on Izuku as he avoided Mirio's gaze and rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment, "I-I won't be doing anything that crazy! Th-those were one time things!"

"Even breaking your arms?" Tamaki asked as he raised an eyebrow.

Izuku flinched, "O-Okay... I may have done that a few times..."

"A few?" Ochako repeated with a blank expression.

Bakugo stood next to Kirishima, glancing over at Izuku getting along with the Big Three. His face, which had been explicating dangerous anger all this time, now had a more calm but serious glare in it as he simply watched the broccoli-haired boy.

"Tsk! Why does it seem like that nerd knows everyone?" Bakugo thought with irritation as he rubbed his sore arms.

"Oi Bakugo! Wanna try fighting the Big Three!?" Kirishima asked him with a grin.

"Shut it weird hair! If I'm gonna fight them, then it'll be by myself rather than with you!" Bakugo snapped back, he then looked down at his arms. "Besides... We can't fight them right now anyway." he mumbled.

"Eh? Why not?" Kirishima asked, confused by what he meant.

A vein of anger emerged, "Isn't it obvious you idiot!? They haven't done what we've been doing up till now, so they're in better condition! If you tried to fight them now, then you'd get your ass kicked!" Bakugo shouted as he drilled a finger into Kirishima's forehead.

"It's funny how he says that I would be the one to get my ass kicked to avoid saying that he would probably lose too..." Kirishima thought with a chuckle.

"WHAT ARE YOU SMILING ABOUT?!" Bakugo comedically shrieked.

"Ah, nothing! Let's go see what they're gonna do then!" Kirishima quickly said as he pulled Bakugo over towards Izuku.

"I DON'T WANNA! DON'T BRING ME TO THAT NERD!" Bakugo comedically complained as he struggled to pull away.

As Kirishima comically dragged Bakugo over to Izuku, two others were already heading over to him. "Hey, Midori! What are you gonna do!? Everyone else is arguing too much about what to do, so we kinda just separated!" Mina called with a smile as she quickly rushed over with Hagakure alongside her.

"Let's do something fun!" Hagakure jumped excitedly as she got over there.

"Eh?" Izuku blinked.

"We must be doing something efficient for our exercises! We can't be using this time to enjoy ourselves!" Iida sternly shouted as he sped right over to the group and screeched to a stop.

"Iida!?" Izuku uttered to see him run to him.

"We can exercise but have fun at the same time, Iida." Tsu said as she also emerged,

"We can!?" Iida asked in shock, making the others sweatdrop.

"I wanna play with Ikari again!" Dark Shadow eagerly said as Tokoyami facepalmed next to him.

"Forgive me Midoriya... He wouldn't stop asking me..." Tokoyami said in shame.

Todoroki walked over to the group and in front of Izuku.

"You too Todoroki?" Izuku asked him with surprise.

Todoroki simply nodded.

"Look who's popular?" Jirou smirked as she stood alongside Momo smiling.

"It appears that many of us wish to train alongside you Izuku. I, as well, am curious to know what kinds of exercises you'll be doing. If it's not too much trouble, I would like to join you.." Momo calmly spoke with a smile.

"You all look so interesting!" Nejire shouted as she rushed from student to student, bombarding them with questions. Tamaki attempted to blend in with the shadows and face the trees to be ignored, but even he was approached by a few students.

"Excuse me?"

Tamaki flinched but slowly turned around to see the tall boy that was Shoji right there. Next to him was a grinning Sero as they both spoke to him.

"Man, what kind of quirk did you have to become a part of the Big Three?" Sero asked him.

"It's not all about quirks Sero." Shoji calmly spoke.

Hearing Shoji, Tamaki fully turned his body curiously, "He's right, a quirk can be considered weak or troublesome, but you, the person who holds it, can turn it into a strong quirk."

"Ah, sorry, that wasn't what I meant, I didn't mean to apply anything bad by it." Sero apologized with an awkward smile.

Izuku stood in a state of awe as he watched the rest of his classmates eagerly gathered around him and the Big Three, some introducing themselves to the Big Three while others asked or gave Izuku suggestions on what they should do.

"Wow, you've got such a nice class Midoriya. They really seem to care about you." Mirio said with a heart warmed smile to see everyone so excited and interacting.

Izuku felt his heart melting from everyone gathering around him. A beautiful butterfly gently landed atop his head as he gave a gleaming smile. "Yeah, they're all my best friends..."

Everyone stood still as Izuku seemed to abnormally shine bright with flowers abnormally coming off of him.

Mina had a blank expression on her face as a small trail of blood came from her nose.

"So class rep, what are we gonna do?" Kaminari grinned.

The butterfly flew off of Izuku as he glanced around his class not even noticing it was there in the first place.

"Hold on, are we just gonna ignore what happened?" Mineta asked after seeing the butterfly fly off Izuku.

Everyone ignored him.

"Well since they just got here... How about we do something together with the Big Three?"

"Oh, like what?" Nejire asked curiously.

"That can be for any of you three to decide.." Izuku smiled.

"Hmmm..." Mirio looked around the class and their current state. "You can all still move right?"

"We're pretty fine. Some of us are a little out of it from using our quirks excessively, but after resting up for a bit more we should be good." Sero answered.

Mirio then put a fist in the air, "Then how about we all play a game!?" he asked eagerly.

"A game?" Izuku and many others repeated.

"I know just the one! I'll be right back!" Mirio bolted off to the camp building and left everyone there.

"Where's he going?" Nejire asked curiously.

"I thought you would know since you know him more than us." Todoroki responded.

After a few moments, Miro came out of the building holding something in his hand.

Upon getting back to the group, he proudly held a ball up in the air, "Volleyball!"

"Volleyball!?!" most of the class shouted.

Tamaki's eyebrow twitched, "Mirio, did you bring that with you here?"

"Yup!" Mirio proudly shouted.

"But how did you even fit it with your other stuff?"

"Doesn't matter!" Mirio cheerfully answered.

"Volleyball, hell yeah! Let's split up and play!" Kirishima yelled, completely getting pumped up.

"Tsk! Why the hell should I waste my time with this?" Bakugo asked angrily.

"You know, you could go against Midoriya and beat him." Kirishima whispered.

Bakugo perked up and formed an evil grin, "Let's play."

Izuku suddenly felt a chill in his spine, "Oh no, Kacchan must be plotting against me again."

"Partner... what happened?"

Izuku's eyes widened at the realization of Ikari's voice, "Oh, Ikari! I haven't heard back from you ever since we got knocked out! Are you alright?"

"Just fine... But my head hurts..."

Izuku formed a comedic look of confusion as he began tapping around at his hands, "Wait a minute. Isn't your head my head? Or are you just within my head? Or do you have your own head just that it's trapped in my subconscious?"

"Okay I have no idea which one is it, but I'm not gonna think about it. My head hurts enough as it is."

"Well come on everyone! Let's set this up!" Mirio said as he began marching on the open field.

"I can provide a net." Momo said with a raise of a hand.

"Are you sure Yaoyorozu? Don't you feel sick from using your quirk too much already?" Jirou asked her.

"If it's just a net, then I'm sure I'll be fine." Momo smiled.

"Yay! Let's go play with Ikari!" Dark Shadow eagerly said as he pulled upon Tokoyami's sleeve.

"Stop behaving this way dark shadow!" Tokoyami yelled to him.

Izuku sweatdropped, "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"

"You always have bad feelings partner, especially in your arms..."

"...Shut up."

"How much further?" Enso asked impatiently as he strolled through the thick and fertile forest with Ragdoll happily skipping along a broken-down tree trunk.

Ragdoll stopped at the edge of the trunk and turn around, seeing Enso purposely falling behind. "Just a little more kitten!" she called as she waved her hand to him. She then turned around and jumped off the trunk, then diving into thick and tall looking grass.

"Good grief, where are we going?" Enso questioned as he walked along the same broken tree trunk and went into the same tall grass.

"You'll see soon kitten!" Ragdoll said as her tail popped up through some tall bushes, allowing Enso to see where she was.

"Stop calling me that." Enso coldly demanded as he used his right hand gently push upon the tall grass in his way.

Ragdoll's head popped out from the tall grass smiling back at Enso, "What do you want me to call you then?"

"Just Enso would be fine."

Ragdoll's hand came out and she put a finger on her chin, grinning at Enso. "Oh? First name basis already? Then you could just call me Tomoko."

Enso sighed, "So that's your real name?"

Ragdoll reached the end of the tall grass, jumping out excitingly but then stopped in place and used her heel to turn herself around and face Enso, wagging her finger, "Not JUST my real name, but my real FIRST name! My real full name is Tomoko Shiretoko, and you should be glad that you can call me by my first name because I don't let anyone else call me that unless if it's the other pussycats and Kota when we're alone."

"So why let me call you that then?" Enso asked as he got out of the grass as well.

"Because we're friends now aren't we?" Ragdoll asked expectantly as she gave Enso a smug cat smile.

"If you say so... So are we getting near?" Enso responded without much care.

Ragdoll simply continued to stare at him with her smug cat smile, even leaning her head closer to him.

"What is it?" Enso asked as he slightly leaned his head back away from her.

"Say it."

"Say what?" Enso repeated in a question.

"My name."

"..."

Ragdoll leaned in even closer, resulting in Enso taking a step back.

"Well?"

Enso turned his head away from her, "Tomoko..." he mumbled.

"What was that? I could barely hear you." Ragdoll teased.

Enso turned his face back to with his eyes glowing redder than they usually were, giving Ragdoll a cold glare. "To-mo-ko." he pronounced clearly.

Ragdoll slightly shivered but tried to play it off with a smile. "W-Well there we go! That wasn't so hard. Anyway, we're here!" she said as she presented something with her arms and hands.

Enso looked up and saw a triangular-shaped archway about ten feet high and made out of different trees spiraling together. However, between the archway were bushes and leaves that had grown so thick that it covered the entrance.

"What is this?" Enso asked, placing a hand upon the archway and feeling it.

"This just the entrance to a place that I use to come to a lot when we got this place! Excuse all the plants, I actually haven't been here in a while, but I'll move them out of the way in a jiffy!" Ragdoll said as the claws on her gloved hands shined. She pounced like a cat right at the archway and after a few lightning-fast slices, the bushes all fell apart, revealing a bright opening behind it.

As he was underneath the shadows of trees for nearly the entire time of walking, the sudden light bothered Enso and prompted him to shade his eyes with one hand. He then used his other hand to feel upon the tree arch and moved through it and into the sunlight. His eyes took only a moment to adjust to the light and he then got a full view of a big area.

It was a large clearing that had a beautiful blue river going through the middle of it, Enso looked to the left and saw that there was a small waterfall going down and bright green grass spreading along both sides of the river. There were bright pink fish swimming down through the river and there were stones that basically made up the entire riverbank, going down the stream as far as Enso could see. The sounds of birds were heard overhead and Enso saw many of them going to trees and setting up in their nests.

However, there was something noticeable about the landscape that caught his eye. Down along the riverside and consistently along the path of the river, there was something growing. Enso walked over to a few tall, skinny trees and used his right hand to feel upon the stem of it, as it was a particular type. He slid his hand smoothly up the stem and admired how tall it was while gaining a sense of familiarity.

"Bamboo?" he muttered in a question.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Ragdoll asked as her head suddenly popped right next to Enso.

Enso didn't even notice her presence as he was fixated on the bamboo he was feeling. He turned his head and look down the stream and saw even more patches of tall bamboo trees growing in the distance.

"This bamboo... why do I feel like I've seen it somewhere?"

"Helloooooooo! Are you there?" Ragdoll called out as she waved her hands in front of Enso's sight.

Enso blinked and snapped out of his thoughts, shaking his head before turning to Ragdoll, "So, what is the reason you brought me here?"

"Hold on, are you really gonna ignore that you were out of it just now?" Ragdoll sweatdropped.

"I was simply wondering why the bamboo is here." Enso responded.

"Oh? It seems like much more than that, but the bamboo is actually pretty common by the river. If you follow the stream down you'll see plenty more!"

"I see..." Enso muttered as he looked far down the river.

Ragdoll pouted as she watched Enso's lack of facial expressions, "Oh come on, Enso, you should smile more!"

He turned his head to her, "I don't smile."

"Oh come on it's not that hard! Just try practicing like this!" as she said this, Ragdoll put her fingers along the corners of Enso's mouth and pulled on them in an attempt to make him look like he was smiling.

Enso just grabbed both of her wrists with his hands and forced them off his face, but did so a little too strong as two cracks were heard.

Ragdoll fell to her knee with Enso still holding her wrists, "Ayayayayayay! You're gonna break them!" she comedically cried out in pain.

"Ah, sorry, it appears my hands got the better of me." Enso said with no hint of guilt as he let go of her wrists.

Ragdoll fell to the floor with her hands twitching and face planted on the ground, "Ow... Ow..."

Enso simply looked down at her, "So, why am I here exactly? I assume that you're the one to request for me to spend time with you, it's the most logical thing."

Ragdoll shot up from the ground, completely recovered somehow, "Yeah! I was the one that asked for you!" she smiled.

Enso was taken aback by her sudden recovery, "She really is too energetic."

"The reason I called you here is so we can have a little psychiatrist session." Ragdoll said as she put her arms on her hips and gleamed.

"A psychiatrist session? From you?"

"What? You think I'm not qualified?" she joked.

Enso stared in silence.

Ragdoll now had a comedic blank look on her face, "You know, you can be rude sometimes."

"But I didn't say anything."

"But you thought of something mean just now."

"..." Enso turned his head away. "Maybe."

Ragdoll crossed her arms and pouted, "How rude! I'm actually pretty good at it you know! I'm all about analyzing and observing people, I could learn more things about them that they may even know about themselves!"

"What is it that you wish to discovery about me?"

A certain shadow seemed to form over Ragdoll as she smiled, "I wanna know everything I don't know about you."

Enso's hair lightly blew in the direction of the wind as his cold eyes looked into Ragdoll's, "So basically, you want to know everything about me?"

"Well, I wanna know just why you're so different from everyone else. Your look, your powers, your experience and..." Ragdoll moved behind Enso and got close to his ear, "...your origins." she whispered.

Enso squinted his eyes in a glare.

Ragdoll then happily skipped away from him and jumped onto a large, smooth white boulder that was near the river.

"Come here now Enso!" she said with a closed eye grin and repeatedly pat a spot on the rock next to her.

"How can she go from seeming so malicious to being so idiotic?"

Enso did one big jump and landed in a crouching position right onto the boulder.

"OO! Nice jump!" Ragdoll clapped.

Enso just remained silent as he sat cross-legged as well but with the same glare on his face that he had before.

Ragdoll chuckled, "Now, now Enso try not looking so serious! I don't mean any harm to you, honest. If I did I probably would've said something to someone else already. Just don't worry, I may even be able to help you!" she said as she moved her hands in a surrender pose.

He raised an eyebrow, "How would you be able to help me?"

Ragdoll clapped her hands together, "I could help you find out things that you may not even know about yourself! I could even help you remember things that you've forgotten to help you understand yourself more. You won't even have to tell me anything about your past."

Enso contemplated this as he paid very close attention to Ragdoll's movements and facial expressions. There was no sign of her lying about what she said, no movement that gave off any weakness, and no indication of any malicious intent.

He scratched the back of his head, "Fine..."

"Really!?" Ragdoll cried out happily with her tail sticking up.

"Let's just get this over with. What do I have to do?"

"Not much actually. Just sit there comfortably and close your eyes." Ragdoll instructed, closing her eyes and placing her hands together over her lap to give him a demonstration.

"That's it? Isn't that a little too simple?

"Just do it." Ragdoll pouted even with her eyes closed.

He sighed before mimicking her actions, putting his hands onto his lap and closing his eyes, seeing only darkness.

"Now that your eyes are closed, focus. Think of ONE thing that makes you feel unsure, whether it's unsure of yourself or something else that you feel confused. Take a deep breath and listen to the surroundings, the sounds of the animals, the wind, everything. If you do it right, then you may remember some good or bad things relating to or connecting to what you're thinking about."

Enso listened to the wind blowing by, the birds chirping, the water of the river roaring. He smelled the grass, the freshness of the air, and even a hint of perfume.

He decided to try to ignore that last scent.

Other than that, all he saw was darkness.

"She says to think of one thing that I feel unsure about, but what even is there for me to be unsure about?"

Enso thought long and hard about this question, but then he remembered something that just went through his mind a few moments before he even began to cooperate with Ragdoll.

"That's right... why did that bamboo seem so familiar?"

Right as he wondered that, the darkness flashed into a bright white light.

___________________________________________

He carefully led the girls down the rocky riverbank.

The boy leading the girls was silent and shyly brushed the bangs of his black hair as his brown eyes looked ahead of the path he took. The two girls behind him had their heads gazing towards the water in awe as they saw the orange light from the sunset beginning to occur. The forest was only a few steps away from them to their right side while the river was on their left and across from that, was even more forest that anyone could get lost in if they didn't know the path.

They all remained rather silent for a while before the younger four-year-old of the two girls spoke.

"Nemuri, I'm hungry..." the blonde, younger girl complained behind them.

The eleven-year-old, purple-haired girl turned her head to the blonde girl, "Yu, we'll be home soon. Hiro is gonna get us out of here."

Seven-year-old Hiro turned his head back to the girls and gave them a shy, yet bright smile, "Don't worry, I know the area well, it's not that hard to find the way back. We just have to follow the river down and soon we'll be back at the camp."

Nemuri smiled, "Thank you, Hiro, we would've been lost if you hadn't come."

"So you DIDN'T know the way!" Yu exclaimed.

"Shut it Yu..." Nemuri said in irritation and with a hint of shame.

"What were you two doing before you got lost?" Hiro asked out of curiosity.

"Nemuri and I were camping together. Both of our mommies and daddies were with us. But then Nemuri wanted to take me exploring into the woods..." Yu pouted.

"I said I'm sorry alright!?" Nemuri told her with a small glare. She then turned back to Hiro and smiled, "We were planning to have a barbecue outside Hiro, maybe you can come with us and eat as a thank you when we get back."

"Nemuri, why are you calling him by his first name?" Yu said with a comedic suspicious stare.

"Hm? Oh, well I mean, he doesn't wanna call us by his last name."

Yu's eye formed into a look of realization, "Oh yeah, is it because his last name sounds weird?"

"That's mean Yu." Nemuri scolded her.

Hiro turned red from embarrassment, "S-Sorry! I-I don't really like my last name, it just sounds..."

"Stupid?"

"Yu!" Nemuri snapped.

"What!? It is!" Yu protested.

Hiro chuckled, "Well my mommy and daddy picked it for some reason."

"Speaking of which, where are your mommy and daddy right now?" Nemuri asked him curiously.

"Oh, I'm taking you to them right now, they're at a cabin by the lake at the end of the river. They can help you find your mommies and daddies." Hiro smiled.

"Oh really? What were you doing away from them in the forest?" Yu asked.

"I was collecting bamboo, it tends to grow around here, especially by the river. See?" As Hiro said that, he pointed over at all the green bamboo trees that were growing from between the stones of the riverbank, even to the start of the forest.

"Wow, I never knew they grew so much here..." Yu said with a look of awe on her face as she stared at all the bamboo growing. However, she then formed to a face of shame, "But... doesn't that mean that we got in the way of you collecting it?"

Hiro just gave her another smile, "It's okay, it was already getting late and I could always come another day. I'm just happy that I found you two before anything bad could happen."

"Awwww, Hiro, you're my hero." Nemuri teased.

Hiro let out a small laugh, "Mommy and Daddy like to make that joke about my name... I think they call it a pun?"

"What's that?" Yu asked Nemuri curiously.

"Something too hard for you to learn." Nemuri teased.

Yu pouted, "Hey! I'm smart enough to learn smart words!"

"What about you Kayama-san? Do you know any big words?" Hiro asked her.

Hearing him call her by that name made Nemuri's eye twitch, she let go of Yu's hand and quickly caught up to behind Hiro. She used both of her hands to stop him by his shoulders and turn him around, then crouching down to be on the same eye level as him.

"Eh? What is it?" Hiro blinked, getting slightly flustered by how much closer Nemuri was.

Nemuri smiled mischievously, a part of her wanted to tease him after seeing his embarrassed face. She bobbed his nose gently with a finger.

"Call me O-nee-chan." she giggled.

"Eh!?" "EH!?" Hiro and Yu both uttered.

"Nemuri! You don't let anyone call you that, not even me!" Yu said in shock.

"But just look at him!" Nemuri told Yu as she opened her arms wide around Hiro and pulled him into a tight embrace, placing his head right under her chin and rubbing it. "Isn't he just the most precious thing ever?!"

Yu pouted in jealousy as she saw Nemuri tightly hug Hiro. She took notice at Hiro's face turned completely crimson and his eyes becoming swirls.

"I-I-I-T-Too close!" Hiro uttered out.

Yu's pout turned into a look of curiosity as she tilted her head at Hiro's embarrassed look.

"He kinda... reminds me of a puppy that doesn't like hugs..." she thought as a mental image of a brown puppy replacing Hiro as he struggled to leave Nemuri's arms.

"K-K-Kayama-san!? L-Let go p-please!" Hiro uttered as his hands tried to pry Nemuri's arms off of him.

Hearing him call her that again, Nemuri released Hiro from her grasp, only to then pinch his cheeks and comedically stretch his face.

"I said, Onee-chan." Nemuri pouted.

"K-Kayama nee-chan... It hurts..." Hiro whined as his face got stretched.

Nemuri moved her face closer to his with a dark shade over her face. "O-nee-chan" she insisted.

"O-Onee... Ch-chan..." Hiro uttered, his eyes closed to avoid looking at Nemuri out of embarrassment.

Nemuri smiled in satisfaction. "Say it again."

"O-Onee-chan..." Hiro repeated more clearly, his ears turned red along with his face.

Nemuri release Hiro's cheeks and embraced him once again in a tight hug with glee, "Kawaii!"

"Nemuri, I think you're breaking him!" Yu said as she noticed steam coming from Hiro's head now. She went over to them and, with the help of Hiro pushing away from Nemuri, managed to free him from Nemuri's grip. The boy let out a few gasps of air and hid behind Yu, slightly shaking.

"Awww, I wasn't holding him that hard." Nemuri objected.

Hiro brushed himself off, "Th-Thank you T-Takeyama-chan..."

"Sorry, Nemuri can be dumb sometimes." Yu told Hiro as she bowed apologetically.

"Irk!" Nemuri appeared next to Yu with a look of irritation and grabbed her by her cheeks as well, pulling them apart.

"Who are you calling dumb!?" Nemuri snapped.

Despite her cheeks painfully being pulled, Yu managed to spew out an insult, "You are! You were the one that got us lost!"

"What did you say?!"

Hiro watched with a confused expression as Nemuri and Yu fought with one another. After a few seconds of watching, he formed a smile and did a small chuckle.

"Hey, what's so funny?" Yu asked in annoyance as she pulled herself out of Nemuri's arms.

Seeing the two girl's attention suddenly on him Hiro flailed his arms in embarrassment, "N-Nothing! It's just that... you both really care about each other, don't you?" he said as he shyly looked down at the ground.

"Huh?" "Huh?" Nemuri and Yu both simultaneously said with question marks over their heads.

"Well, my mommy told me that whenever people fight a lot, it's because they actually care about each other a lot." he said with an innocent smile. At that moment, the sun was finally going down on the horizon behind the girls and the orange color shined brightly over Hiro, radiating up his brown hair and the innocent look in his eyes as he smiled.

Yu and Nemuri stared in awe as the light shone over Hiro, both then turned and looked at each other as they thought about what he said.

Both then smiled at one another.

"Yeah, I guess we do." Nemuri said as she looked back to Hiro.

"We're like family." Yu added as she also turned her head to Hiro.

They both then ran over to him and each took hold of one of his hands.

"Eh?" Hiro uttered in confusion.

"Come on! The sun is already going down so we gotta go before our mommies and daddies die worrying about us!" Nemuri laughed.

"When we get back to mommy, let's ask if we can play with Hiro!" Yu added with a closed eye smile.

They both then started running, each with a hand holding Hiro and pulling him behind them.

"H-Hey!" Hiro uttered as he struggled not to fall while running over the stony riverbank. He looked down at his feet to watch his footing, getting his pace to match up with Nemuri and Yu. Once fixing his pace, he looked ahead at the two girls dragging him.

Their hair blew back in the opposite direction they were running, both had joyful expressions on their faces as they cheerfully laughed. Hiro warmed up inside from their sparkling aura and smiled along with them.

"Look! That must be the place right Hiro?" Nemuri shouted happily as she pointed ahead, then looking back to Hiro.

Hiro looked ahead and saw that the river path had finally ended in a familiar large lake with beautiful green grass growing all around it. Behind the lake was a smooth and bright brown wooden cabin with some smoke coming out of a brick chimney. The cabin looked rather long and the main entrance was visible in the form of wooden steps that went up to a wooden porch that went around the place. From the orange light of the sun setting behind him, Hiro was able to faintly see the silhouettes of people in the square windows.

"Yay, we can finally eat something!" Yu exclaimed while also turning her head back to Hiro and smiling in a similar fashion as Nemuri.

Hiro nodded, "Yeah!" he said cheerfully back, closing his eyes in delight.

Just as it seemed like they were getting closer to the cabin, the world faded away, and all went black.

____________________________________________________

Enso's eyes snapped open with a start, his vision suddenly blinded by the brightness of the sun in his eyes. It only took him a second to notice the silhouette of a person right in front of him.

He was still in the same sitting position that he started before and it didn't take long for his vision to clear up and see something different. Ragdoll was still on the rock Enso was sitting at, but instead of sitting down in tranquility, she was laying down with her head in her hands as she watched Enso with a smile.

"So, how'd it go?" she asked him with a satisfied smirk.

Enso didn't answer her, he just shot up to his feet and turned his attention to the river near them, his eyes were focused down the river as he tried to make heads or tails of what he had just seen in his head.

Ragdoll's smile was wiped off as she noticed something that she hadn't seen on Enso yet.

Panic.

"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked as she stood up to her feet after realizing that it may be serious.

Enso didn't pay her attention as his eyes had found themselves once again taking the view of the tall bamboo trees growing between the rocks of the riverbank and around the border of the forest. He looked down the long stream in the distance and clenched his fists.

He then blasted into the air in the direction the river was going, leaving a strong gust of wind behind him that sent the trees shaking and Ragdoll's skirt upward.

"EEP!" she squeaked out as her hands shot to her skirt and pushed it down. Her cheeks developed a tint of red and looked up with a pout and watched Enso soar through the air. "Hmph! How rude!" She brushed herself off and looked over at Enso landing near more bamboo trees farther down the river, examining it with his hands. Ragdoll smiled and put her hands on her hips in a proud stance.

"Hey, it looks like I helped him realize something after all! Maybe now he'll open up to me more." she thought proudly. She waited for Enso to stop what he was looking at and to come back and tell her what was wrong, but then she noticed that Enso just kept going down farther and farther down the river, making her proud smile slowly fade away in wonder.

"Hold on, where is he going? The only thing down that river is..." Her eyes widened, "Wait a minute, don't tell me that the thing he remembered was-!?" she immediately jumped off the boulder she was on and began running after Enso down the river, already behind a considerate amount.

Enso didn't even look back as he jogged down the riverbank at a quick pace, his eyes scanning each small detail around the area while his thoughts rampaged with what he just saw in his head.

"That was clearly a memory of the sort, it appeared to be a continuation of Nemuri's memories after both she and Yu met that boy, Hiro when they were lost in the forest. But why was I able to see it without using any my abilities to connect in her head? Is it a side effect of already going through her past memories before? Or was it a message of the sort that I somehow obtained."

As Enso went deeper down the river path, the rapids became stronger from rocky platforms popping out of the water. Enso didn't hesitate and leaped onto one of these platforms before jumping onto another, repeating the process and getting faster down the river with each jump.

"Not only that, but that bamboo growing around this river is no doubt the same kind of bamboo that I saw in not only just this memory but from the previous memory I saw of Nemuri when she first met Hiro. So that would have to mean that this place, this camp, is actually the place where they had first met each other. That could explain how U.A knew about this place in the first place because Nemuri had been here before and would have suggested it."

Enso landed on a crouching position onto another stone, then blasting upward into the sky, his figure eclipsing a part of the sun as he flew in the air. As he began to fall, he stuck his hands out and grabbed a small tree branch before using it to swing upward and land atop a thicker branch that was higher on another tree. He stood on the branch with his hand holding the trunk as he looked ahead on the river path. The river went slightly more downhill, but Enso squinted his eyes and stared at what he thought might be the end in the distance.

"However, I can't guarantee if this is actually the same area yet, so to confirm it, I need to find the cabin that I saw at the lake towards the end of the river. If what Hiro said is true, then all I have to do is keep following the river until I find it."

He leaped out of the tree and continued to travel rock by rock at a quick pace. It wasn't too long before he jumped to the side and landed onto the stony riverbank once more, stopping in place as his eyes laid upon what he thought he was looking for.

He found the end of the river, indicated by the large lake that the river led to, sparkling bright from the midday sun. However, instead of the beautiful green grass and cabin behind the lake, there were more thick trees and even some weeds mixed in with dying patches of grass covering the area. Enso jumped onto the grass and examined the area, the cabin that should be in front of him wasn't there, just a large gathering of tall trees. He walked over to them and slid his left hand up the trunk, gazing between the trees before his eyes widened at what he was looking for.

He opened his right palm up and formed his dagger on it, then gripping it tightly.

"Let's clear this area."

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, holding his dagger in his right hand and using his left hand to feel upon the base of it. His eyes then snapped open and flashed red before he swiftly lashed out at the trees around the area, the trunks, branches, and plants all being severed to pieces at blinding speeds and forced strong enough to be blown away from the area. The leaves, pieces of grass, and plants flew high in the air from the strong winds Enso created from his swift and merciless strikes, sending them in all directions.

When all was said and done, Enso gazed at the large opening he made and clenched his dagger tightly at what he saw. There was indeed a wooden cabin there, but it didn't completely match the one that Enso saw in that vision. It was worn down, there were different visible spots of wood on the cabin rotting, and some of the bricks on the chimney on top looked slightly shifted. Many windows still looked intact, but the wooden steps looked loose and the porch of the cabin itself looked as if it could fall at any moment.

Enso's dagger slowly faded away in his hand, his eyes focused on the cabin, confirming for himself that what he was seeing was indeed the same cabin he had seen in that memory just a moment ago.

He slowly walked to the old wooden steps, weeds crunching underneath him as he went through the grass. Upon walking on the steps the wooden stairs, he heard them creak underneath him, but paid no mind as he got to the door. Upon reaching the door, he grabbed the handle and turned it rather easily, but when he tried to push the door open, he found that it was stuck. He put more force on the door, but it wouldn't budge and appeared to have expanded in the frame, making it harder to push through. He sighed before taking two steps back from the door before lifting his foot and slamming it right onto the door with enough force to break it open but weak enough to still keep it on its hinges.

Despite the lack of lamps, the sun shone through the windows as a light source and allowed Enso to see the area. He walked inside to a large room that he assumed to be the lobby, yet there weren't any pieces of furniture or lamps around. The place was basically empty other than the wooden beams partially holding it up and the visible holes with more rotting wood in some areas. There wasn't anything noteworthy about the cabin as a whole, it was abandoned and clearly rotting away. Yet, it looked rather important to Enso after what he had seen before.

"There's no doubt about it..." he thought as he went to the middle of the room and crouched to the ground, feeling the old, rotten wood. "...sadly, this looks to be the place."

He heard some creaking behind him, prompting him to turn his head and look back at the doorway.

Ragdoll stood at the doorway with a serious look on her face, not even looking around the place and just focusing on Enso with a hand on the door frame and the other just down near her side. Enso stood back to his feet and stared back at Ragdoll. Clearly, both had many questions for the other, both wondered exactly what was going on, and both were waiting for the other to ask something.

Ragdoll was the first to speak, "No way. Is the thing you saw... this place?"

"..." Enso turned his head and his eyes skimmed the deserted cabin, "Yes... it was."

Ragdoll had a face of bewilderment to learn this. "But... how?"

Enso looked back at her, "What do you mean?"

"Only a few people should know about this specific place, Pixie-bob and I know about it, but the other pussycats and even Kota don't even know about it. Pixie-bob and I were planning on rebuilding this cabin and surprise the other pussycats with it. No one else knows about it."

"But... how do both you and Pixie-bob know about this place then?"

"I heard about it from Midnight." Ragdoll responded, her serious look not changing.

Enso raised an eyebrow, "You heard from Nemuri?"

Ragdoll's expression changed to a look of bewilderment, "Wait, you call her by her first name too?"

Enso realized that he was unconsciously using the first names of people much easier and that he should work on not saying them around others, but decided that now was not the time to explain his connection to Midnight now.

"It's a long story and I promise I'll explain later, but please just continue with what you were saying! How did you hear about this area from her?" he asked more aggressively, even stepping closer towards her.

Ragdoll tilted her head curiously, "Alright then, many years ago this place used to be a campground that wasn't that well known, only a few people ever came from what I heard. But at one point this camp closed down and stayed closed for quite a while without anyone ever coming. From what Midnight had told me when her hero debut exploded in popularity and profit, she bought this camp for herself, although I don't know why."

"Midnight bought this camp? But then why do the pussycats own the place now?"

"I'm getting there, don't interrupt." Ragdoll told him. "Midnight sold the place to us pussycats a while before she took her job at U.A academy. In fact, she was the one who suggested for your class to come here to camp."

"It would make sense... This place wasn't well known due to being in an obscure location, yet it's spacious and suitable for training without interruption." Enso thought.

"But that still doesn't answer my question about how did you hear about all of this from Nemuri. Also, why would she tell someone like you about this place anyway?"

Ragdoll sweatdropped, "Why do I feel like you just insulted me?" she then sighed before looking up in thought. "Well, all of us pussycats were searching for another office in the Nagano Prefecture and I was the lucky one who managed to just overhear Midnight talking to a girl about some sort of amazing forest that also served as a camp. I heard Midnight tell that person that no one else cared, or even knew about the camp anymore and offered to bring her there. They got into quite a heated argument and nearly shouted a few times too before the girl Midnight was talking too finally left, I guess she didn't want anything to do with Midnight or the camp anymore. Midnight looked rather bummed out after that moment though, so I decided to hold off on asking about the place and waited for a few days before I asked her about it. I had managed to get ahold of her agency and got Midnight on the phone before I was then able to convince her to sell the camp for me and the pussycats."

"And this place?" Enso asked her.

Ragdoll looked around the area with a troubled looked in her eyes, "Nemuri gave me a condition to selling the camp to me. She told me all about this place right here..." she said as she patted a wooden beam, "...and told me to take good care of it, said that it was important."

"Yet... Look how it ended up." Enso remarked as he heard the creaking of wood.

"Hey, our career was really at the point at that time, that's why we need another office. We were really busy and I couldn't find a chance to liven up this place with Pixie-bob." Ragdoll defended.

"...But why would Nemuri sell this place if it was important to her?" Enso muttered.

Hearing him, Ragdoll shrugged, "Who knows? The thing I got that was the closest to a reason was when I was on the phone with Midnight. She didn't seem that comfortable selling this camp to the pussycats, so I offered that she didn't have to, but she still wanted to go through with it. She told me that..." she looked outside at the grass blowing, looking slightly sad, "...there was no point in keeping the area because 'they' would never go back there again."

Enso closed his eyes in thought, "They? If Nemuri was talking about who I think she was talking about..."

Enso opened his eyes again, "About that 'argument' you heard, do you remember who Nemuri was with?" he asked.

Ragdoll rubbed her head, "Well, I don't really remember that well because it was a while ago, but I vaguely remember it being with a highschool looking, blonde girl with long hair."

"Of course, it was Yu as I suspected. That would make perfect sense then... I'm presuming that was Nemuri's last attempt at trying to get along with Yu, by offering to take her to the one place that would have the hopes of making them realize the importance of their friendship. But... it appears that Yu refused to go, so after that Nemuri must've just... given up."

Ragdoll eyed Enso with a pout on her face, then walking up to him and using her cat glove to poke his chest and get his attention.

"Hey, clearly there's been a lot more than I thought going on with you and Midnight. I've told you everything you've wanted to know up till now. But now..." Ragdoll poked his chest more aggressively this time, "Don't you think you owe ME a little information now?"

"..." Enso looked down at her and gently removed Ragdoll's finger from his chest, releasing it with a cold glare. "It's more serious than you should know, whether it's about her or myself." he responded.

She sighed and facepalmed, "You still don't wanna tell me anything? Look, it's obvious that right now even YOU'RE trying to sort out a lot in that big head of yours, so why not let ME help you out. I know that there's still stuff that even you don't feel sure about." she offered.

Enso tilted his gaze down at the ground in silence.

"Does he really not trust me?" Ragdoll wondered in a rare state of frustration.

Enso walked passed Ragdoll while still looking down at the ground, prompting a disappointing look from the cat heroine.

However, he stopped right at the doorway with his right hand holding the frame as his back facing Ragdoll, he stood there for a few seconds before finally letting out a sigh of defeat.

"I'll come back tomorrow."

"Eh?" Ragdoll blinked in surprise.

Enso then stepped out onto the porch and then the grass with his head looking up to the sky. He put his hands in his pockets and strolled over to the rocky riverbank to make his way back.

Ragdoll watched Enso walking for a few moments before excitedly jumping onto the porch of the cabin. "Yes, yes! Finally! Now we're getting somewhere!" she then struck a victory pose with her fist in the air.

She then happily waved and called to Enso in the distance, "I'll see you back right here tomorrow then!"

He stopped for a brief moment, looking back to Ragdoll with one eye and thinking about the experience he had today, before looking forward and continuing to walk back to camp.

"Phew! He'll be a tough one to understand, but I wonder what kind of secrets he'll hold!" she laughed as she stomped the ground proudly.

Creak!

Ragdoll stopped, "Eh?"

The wood underneath her cracked and crumbled down, "AYY!"

Enso heard the crash behind him and turned around with an eyebrow raised. What he saw was Ragdoll, who currently had the bottom half of her body stuck into the porch after the wood underneath her had broken down.

Ragdoll laughed it off and sweatdropped, "Don't worry about me! Looks like I'll have to get going on fixing this place up!"

"..." Enso continued walking.

"Bye to you too I guess..." Ragdoll laughed to herself.

Enso walked alone down the riverbank, processing and connecting each and every piece of information that he had gotten.

"All of that... why did I see it? To think that this is the same place that Nemuri and Yu met Hiro so many years ago, it makes sense that Nemuri would buy this place out of preserving the precious memory with Hiro and Yu."

Enso recalled what Ragdoll remembered Nemuri saying, "...there was no point in keeping the area because 'they' would never go back there again."

Enso stopped walking and looked ahead of the river. "Yet... she sold the place after losing hope..."

Enso's hair gently blew back with the wind as he knew just how broken Yu and Nemuri's relationship was. "Even now, they're still fighting, even worse than fighting." He looked down into his hand, "And I... became a reason for the hostility between them..." he thought as he remembered going on a 'date' with Midnight and running into Yu, causing a disturbance.

Enso looked up at the river again and pictured the trio of children that were Nemuri, Yu, and Hiro running down the river with smiling faces, innocently holding hands as Enso had seen in the memory earlier. As they reached the front of Enso, they faded away from his sight, leaving him alone once more.

"Nemuri desires to have a friendly relationship with Yu again, I already knew this much, but I didn't know that she desired it for so long."

He clenched his hand into a fist, "What concerns me the most is as to why I had those memories despite not connecting with Nemuri's mind once more... Perhaps if I influence them to finally accept forgiveness from one another, then I may be closer to understanding why I'm the one seeing these things."

He turned his head and glanced into the beautiful pure water of the river and saw his reflection. His cold red eyes and long smooth hair reflecting back to remind himself how little he ever knew about himself.

"But... If those memories I saw truly weren't of Nemuri and instead, are actually of my own accord, then wouldn't that mean..."

His mind became static as flashes upon flashes of memories went through his head. He saw Yu smiling at him during his internship, Nemuri grinning at him in her office, Izuku fighting against him with determination to win, and Lynch's carefree and intimidating look of pleasure as he slaughtered others. These and many more flashed through his mind at split-second speeds, before everything suddenly went black. The last thing he saw was Hiro, his face slowly fading in with an innocent smile.

"...that Hiro... is actually me?"

Hey guys! I'll be retyping many of the earlier chapters of the fic while working on the new ones in the process. I'll be fixing things such as grammatical errors, adding more moments for some characters, and even filling in a few gaps that may have seemed rushed. This will be done so that my fic will have a better impression on any new people deciding to start reading it. I've read the earlier chapters and know how much they could be improved. You guys will know if a chapter is retyped by looking at the titles in the index, the ones that are retyped will say (Retyped) next to the titles in chapters. Hopefully, you guys can reread them for a better experience and comment on what you think! The first chapter has already been retyped so I hope you can check that one out right now too, enjoy!
