The cold breeze from the air conditioner smacked your face, freezing you ever so lightly, as you entered the blank room. The smell of the hospital greeted you, reminding you to quickly head to the person you came for.

Your mother sat on the bed, reading off a book that was held carefully between her nimble fingers. Her glasses at the tip of her nose, eyes dancing at the words slowly. Her snow-like hair tied up neatly in a bun.

You coughed, her head turned to greet her visitor, settling the book on her lap. Carefully you place the assortment of fruits on the counter beside her, brushing a small strand of whitish hair from your face.

"Mother, how are you feeling?" You went to sit at the seat beside the bed, with your mother seemingly smiling much wider than you thought she would.

"(Name)! Same old as usual." She replied indifferently, almost bored.

"You took your medicine for the day already?" You went to picked up the bottle containing the pills, with your mother dramatically sighing at your antics.

"Yes, yes. Already the second time now y'know?" You mom drawled out. "And stop worrying, your making me feel old!" She complained, brushing back a loose strand of hair.

You rolled your eyes at your mother's antics. As you took out an apple of the assortment, cutting it carefully with the small kitchen knife the nurse gave you in the counter. "Well have you ate anything? you should at least eat these fruits."

"Are you even listening to me!?" She loudly complained, whining as you continued on, ignoring her, placing the neatly cut apples on a small plate. Your mom pouted, before she seemed to remember something. "Oh but enough of that! There's something I need to tell you."

You honestly wondered how'd your mother could find all her energy as she sat on her hospital bed. But you'll humor her.

"What is it?"

"Well I-wait." The elder lady halted, looking around in confusion. You followed her line of gaze, seeing nothing in particular. "Where's those pipsqueaks you usually bring with you?"

You blinked. "Pipsqueaks...?"

Your mother blinked back "You know, the oddly yellow mouse and the furry..creature I don't know what is."

"Ah, they both got sleepy, so I put them in their capsules. They should be up by now." You commented, mostly talking to yourself as you pulled out two tiny red-white balls, pressing on the button to enlarge it. Before you threw it to the other side of the room, causing two creatures appearing.

The bright yellow mouse looked around, until it's eyes went to yours. It yipped cheerfully, scampering over in a rush, jumping on to the bed. The other stayed in its spot, seemingly still asleep, as it waddled closer to you, nudging your leg with its head. It's hazel fur tickling you slightly.

"Well if it isn't my favorite guest!" Your mom exclaims, her hands rushing to pick up the mouse from its spot, cuddling it up with love. The yellow mouse seemed unresponsive, simply letting your mom throughly crush him.

"Eevee?" A small whine grabbed your attention, pawing your leg for attention.

you picked up your whining pet, brushing your fingers across her soft fur. Eevee squealed in delight, snuggling into you lap sleepily. Your mother made baby noises at your Pikachu, causing you to sweatedropped.

"You know...I am your child." You deadpanned at your squealing mother, who actually seems more excited to see the furred animals than seeing you.

The elder lady continued rubbing the Pokemon to death. "I'm sorry dear, you said something?"

"Nevermind." You sighed, cuddling up Eevee a bit more. "What was it you wanted to talk about?"

Your mother finally released the choked animal, who quickly scampered to you, asking for attention. Her eyes widen a smidge.

"Oh yes, I almost forgot." She said, giggling softly at her forgetfulness, before she went to grab something in her small drawers. She pulled out an envelope, handing it over to you.

"This is?" You trailed, peering at the envelope curiously.

"Pika?" Pikachu peered at it as well, laying his hands on yours to support his body.

Gesturing you to open it, your mother patiently waiting in her seat, nervously watching. Upon ripping the paper, inside laid out a few cash, an ID card, and a train ticket that was due next two week.

"Um..do you need me to grab something in the city?" You questioned, studying the ticket closer. It was the city your boss had been asking you to visit, apparently some sort of problem kept arising, and they were hoping you to visit for awhile. Of course, you declined, your mothers wellbeing much more important. "I guess I could go check up the problem they've been giving me if there's something you need me to grab."

Your mom pressed her lips, "I don't necessarily need you to get something for me."

You blinked, holding out the given envelope in confusion. "Then, what is it for?"

"Well." Your mother seemed to say silently, trying to find the right words. "I'm actually asking you to stay there permanently."

Overwhelmed, you were at a lost for words, as your mother placed a frail hand on yours.

"I know this is surprising, But I want you to know that I think this is a great opportunity." She whispered, clearly telling you to listen to her.

"..for?"

"For you to live out your life." She simply replied, "listen (name), this town won't do you much good. Moving to the city, you could learn so much, and I know for a fact they want you to help out there..with your quirk and all."

Your mother added, almost irritatedly. Not surprising since she wasn't exactly thrilled with your special job that you were offered.

"Mom.." You started. "I know that, but who's gonna keep an eye on you?"

Your mother almost looked downright offended. "Do I look helpless to you?"

You shrugged, "kinda."

Your mom sighed through her teeth, holding back a retort. "I'll be fine (name)."

"But where will I stay-" you tried to persuade.

"With a colleague of mine. I'm sure two of them will help you settle." She firmly stated, picking up her forgotten book.

"And I haven't talked with the school here about-"

"Already done."

"The house wi-"

"-ll be taken care by a close friend of mine."

"And dad-"

"-doesn't need to know."

You sighed loudly. Pressing your forefingers frustratingly on the bridge of your nose. "And nothing's gonna change your mind?"

"Hmm, pretty much." She commented, turning to another page.

You sighed again. Your eyes were brought to the little town you called home. Staying near the forest and mountains, you've experience a lot with that little quirk you had. Not all were the greatest, but they were the ones that made you who you are.

Nudged by two pairs of familiar paws, your two little monster stared up at you, concern written in their cute faces. Petting their little heads, causing them to squeal in delight.

"I'm serious when I said this is a great opportunity, besides you've been visiting me to often. How about finding a boyfriend instead on dotting on your old hag." She suggested, almost cheekily.

You huffed. "No thanks. Worrying about you is my job."

Staring at the other given gifts, you tried to hand back the money. "You don't need to give the money, I think you need it more than I do. Besides I make enough." You said, trying hand back to wads of cash, as your mother shook her head vigorously.

"Just let me be the mother for once ok?" Mom said gently. Coaxing you to not push the subject anymore.

The room was silent, cold winds brushing against you, as your small Pokemon yipped here and there, playing with each other by the bed now. The nervousness on being away from your mother hitting you.

"Are you sure you're gonna be alright mother?" You asked worriedly, eyes trailing in search for any signs of her fatigue getting worse.

"Of course..who do you think your talking to?" Your mother said boastfully, before she saw the look you gave, bringing a hand to pat your head. "And I know for a fact, you'll be fine on your own as well."

You smiled, feeling light at your mother's affection. Hugging out with alittle more debating, You begrudgingly agreed to your mother's request to move, causing her to tear up proudly.

"You always told me you wanted to be a veterinarian." She brushed a lose white lock under your ear. "And I know you'll do your best." Eyeing you with all the love she has offered you.

"Thanks mom.."

"By the way, do you think I'm getting old? Just look at my hair!" Your mother dramatically confessed, looking upset, as she eyed a strand of hair poking out of her nest bun.

"Mother, you had white hair all your life. And I have it too, does that mean I'm old?

"Well you kinda act like it."

You pouted, finding yourself to be the one offended now by your cheeky mother, who was biting the apple you had so kindly cut. Your Pokemon digging in on the fruit as well, munching cheerfully. As your mother busied herself with the creatures, you eyed the ticket once more, you held it on eye level, a destination printed boldly on it.

Hello readers, as you can see this is a new Boku no hero academia story. Slash crossover with Pokemon. I'm really excited to try this story out so I'm gonna do my best. As you can see, the reader is more of an OC, except it has your name, cause I suck at naming. As the disclaimer and warning, characters that don't come out now, might have an appearance earlier, you have been warned. The story follows the anime, but of course we'll learn more of reader as the story moves along. If there's any Pokemon you want to see in this story, feel free to comment it down below!
