❦ Twenty Two

You dawdled crossed U.A's halls, walking the slightest bit sluggishly towards your classroom. You yawned tiredly, as you fixed your tie hastily.

It was nice to see the school filled with the masses of students after the school had been closed off due to the USJ event. There was nothing but light chattering filling the corridors, which made you feel the slightest bit calmer. I guess most of the students weren't worried about the arrival of the Pokémon announced just yesterday.

Then again, they might assume that was a joke.

Perhaps your classmate might assume that as well? That would go smoothly, and avoid you from confrontation. But then again, they were given front row seats to your Pokémon powers and appearance. So you threw that thought away with a heavy sigh. It's not even a surprise anymore they knew. You walked towards your classroom, feeling more anxious with every step.

But still, you found yourself amazed to be able to even put on your uniform correctly after you woke up a little later than needed. The trip to Deika was a rather tiring one, much more than you had expected, as yesterday's events were filled with surprises that you supposed your body wasn't ready for.

Before you entered the classroom, you heard the loud and firm orders from Iida, causing you to grin unconsciously at the familiar voice. What was the class president up to now?

You entered the classroom without a second thought. There's no use in standing in front of the class fretting possibilities, it was now or never. Sliding the door silently, you were greeted to all of your classmates chatting in their seats, including a somehow frustrated Iida in his seat. That was quick.

'Oh, I'm the last one.' You thought as you shut the door after you, alerting your classmates who were now staring at the arriving you.

It was quiet, for perhaps a few seconds. And you could only awkwardly stand in front of the door with everyone's gazes at your stiff form. Oh, they definitely knew the connection between you and the Pokémon, so you're entirely done for. Perhaps you could play it off as if you were in oblivious ditz, but you quickly discarded the idea, there's no turning back now. Your eyes began shifting uncomfortably.

"Uhh...Good M-," You greeted with a strained smile.

"(last)-chan!" Your eyes widened, as suddenly a few of your classmates were on their feet, rushing towards you with wide grins. You were glomped by a floating uniform, causing you to unconsciously wrap your arms around the cheerful Hagakure.

"Wha-?" You blinked, as Hagakure squeezed you tighter in her hug. No matter how sluggish you were feeling, you knew for a fact you were going to be bombarded by questions. But what you did not expect was to be greeted so warmly.

"No fair (last)-chan! Why didn't you tell us about the Pokémon?" Hagakure whined, her voice loud by your ear.

"Eh-ohh?" You voiced out unsurely, as you were squeezed even tighter by the invisible girl. Perhaps she was actually trying to kill you and you're just dense.

"Yeah!" Mina was close by too, actually, you can't completely tell cause your face was jammed by Hagakure's face, "That's why you were kind of always changing the subject, and being secretive!"

"I was?" Your voice sounded muffled, as you questioned densely.

"You were!" They both chimed with pouts. Were you being that obvious?

You released Hagakure down slowly, as you assumed she smiled at you before you were brought towards the familiar amphibian-like girl, who had brought her pointed finger to her chin, in a thinking motion.

"So that's why you avoided the talk about your elephant before right?" Tsuyu wondered as she stared at you dead in the eye.

"Y-Yeah..." You replied with the hint of embarrassment. You were surprised she never brought it up again after the first time, but you assumed she must've realized your discomfort. Kaminari who was next to the greenette said with an almost aggravated expression.

"You should've been more suspicious if she had an elephant! I'm pretty sure that's not a normal pet!" The electric-quirked boy rubbed the back of his head unsurely, but he was quick to panic after, "Ah-not that you're not normal (last)-chan!"

You could only gap, watching all of their faces in confusion. They sure were taking everything in calmly, in fact, they looked excited. "W-Why are you taking this in so easily?" You question with wide surprise eyes, as Mina was the first that answered with a grin.

"Well I mean, they're not that much of threat." She shrugged, as you begged the differ, crossing her arms with a knowing smile, "And the scene in USJ was enough to calm us down," You were skeptic once again, Gardevoir literally tried to kill all of humanity in the span of one villain attack, "And...we trust you."

You stiffened unsurely at that, as Mina was smiling widely, she continued, "(last)-chan, you knew exactly what to do before, you were like a pro-hero yourself!" Mina cheered loudly, as you felt uneasy, slowly embarrassed.

"Yeah." Kaminari was quick to input, he appeared rather amazed himself, going to not-so-slyly wrap an arm around your shoulders in a friendly side-hug. You didn't mind, as you stared up at the cheerful male, "I'm not all too sure about the Pokémon's, but I know I can trust you." He suddenly leaned closer to you, just the slightest, "Wish you could've told me during our date." He flirted casually, as you got redder.

Before you could reply, Sero promptly pushed off Kaminari, who frowned and stumbled to the side with a pout. "Never mind that," Sero waved his hand, making a face at the electric classmate, his gaze fixing towards you, "You were really cool back then!" A triangle grin was rising, excitement evident in his feature.

Seto, the sweet-eating man, was also there, appearing enthusiastic as well after Sero's compliment, "Yeah, we didn't see much from where we were, but you totally pummeled them!" as Koda, who had stayed silent just nodded eagerly.

"It wasn't as stylish as me, but it was a show~" You jumped when the smiling Aoyama came into the picture, sitting on his desk, resting his head on his arms primly.

You can't help the rise of blood rising to your face, as embarrassment flooded your veins at each and every compliment. You looked away shyly, "Uh-Thanks, but I didn't do much, it was the Pokémon..."

"No way, you totally did amazing!" Mina shook her head vigorously, she appeared more excited as time flew by.

"And you guys trusting me..." You mumbled unsurely, feeling both undeserving and giddy at the comments, as Tooru pulled your arm, causing you to look towards the window.

"Well, there's a pokemon out there too right? And it doesn't look like it'll hurt us!" You were confused, when the exeggutor, the one Principal Nezu had gotten, peaked into the classroom, the three coconut's blatantly greeting your form loudly, causing Bakugo to shout menacingly at it.

"Shut the fuck up you overgrown fruit!" You sweatdropped, as the invisible girl added quickly in a chipper voice.

"Bakugo-kun's been raging at it all morning!"

"...Well, Exeggutor's pretty derpy, so I kind of understand Bakugo-san." You rubbed the back of your neck.

"See! We know it won't hurt us, besides you're here to protect us!" Tooru finally completed her chat, as you grinned awkwardly, still feeling overwhelmed by her words, causing you to nod. Chuckling softly, your eyes drifted to the other students.

Midoriya was shyly seated on his seat, his smile grew the slightest when your eyes made contact as you nodded his way. Momo and Jiro were also still on their seats, not because they didn't want to greet you, but they didn't want to pressure you. Tokoyami wasn't one to fuss over people so he stayed back, as you supposed Shoji, the many-armed boy, and Ojiro were the same. Mineta, on the other hand, was somehow still shaking in his seat due to the trauma of the attack.

Bakugo had sat back on his seat after the exeggutor left wistfully with his ever so familiar frown, but you caught the slight glance he gave you before scoffing loudly. Meanwhile, Todoroki was as indifferent as ever, yet he was strangely staring right at you. You blinked at the action, before looking away to focus on the invisible girl who began asking you with a whine.

"So why didn't you just tell us about them (last)-chan?" She questioned, curious on your secretive action about the Pocket Monsters.

"Ah-sorry. It was confidential." You replied.

"Eh, so you were told to keep it quiet?" Ashido asked, scratching her wild pink mane.

"Yes...I'm really sorry for keeping this from all of you." You apologized. Though it was meant to be a secret, you can't help but feel bad after they had greeted you warmly this early morning.

"Well, it can't be helped right?" Kirishima who was grinning your way had squeezed his way in the front, basically pushing away Sero and Kaminari unintentionally, causing the duo to glare and frown. He was close, his red eyes lighting up at the sight of you, "I'm just glad to see you doing alright." He said with a smaller grin, that once again made you shy.

"Ah-right." you smiled up at him, as Kirishima face grew a bit pink at that. You sure were glowing today!

That didn't go unnoticed by Kaminari, who narrowed his eyes, "Hey, don't go hogging the front spot by yourself!" Sero went along, joining in the tease, "Is that a blush I see?"

"Huh?" Kirishima was quick to move back, his face lighting up a bit more, "What do you mean?" The red-head asked obliviously to the two teasing male. You were too enthralled to the trio's jeering exchanges, that you were surprised to be pulled back by Tsuyu.

"You don't need to apologize (last)-chan, you were told not to tell anyone right?" Tsuyu assured with a small nod, as you noticed Yaoyorozu and Jiro finally making their way over to you.

"That's right! It's okay (last)-chan!" Tooru said earnestly, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Mina once again linked her arm with yours, grinning happily, "We understand!"

Yaoyorozu was quick to follow into the conversation, as she smiled, "Yes that's right. It was an order, after all, I could understand now why you never used your quirk at the Quirk Apprehension test."

"Yeah, well to be fair, my quirk isn't exactly the most useful in a quirk apprehension test." You stated with a shrug, "By the way, thanks again for taking care of some of my Pokémon before." You remembered clearly finding both Joltik and Emolga with Jiro, Yaoyorozu, and Kaminari, you guessed the duo Pokémon didn't listen to your orders and went straight towards Kaminari.

"Don't sweat it, it's fine." Jiro retorted almost teasingly, her hand unconsciously reaching towards her long ear jacks, twirling them lightly as she remembered. "They weren't much troubles anyways."

"Yes, that's right. They were rather obedient." Yaoyorozu spoke up after Jiro stated that. "They were actually adorable now that I think about it."

Jiro blushed, feeling a bit embarrassed, as her eyes averted. But she hesitantly, yet quickly, agreed. Guess she actually likes cute stuff as well.

"See, there's no need to apologize, kero." Tsuyu pointed out with a closed-eye smile, as you couldn't help but follow her example. You nodded, feeling relief, "you're right."

"But~ Since you apologize already~" Mina suddenly intervene, crashing down your relief as nervousness overthrew you, the pink alien faked a thinking pose, dragging out some 'ooh' and 'aah', before she pointed a finger to you, just inches from your eyes. "You have to start calling us more friendly! We're friends aren't we?"

"Aren't I friendly with you?" You questioned, unsure exactly what Mina was instituting. Tooru giggled, before continuing after Mina in a lighthearted tone.

"You kinda strayed away (last)-chan, probably since you were over worrying." Tooru sleeves began shaking wildly, "Just call us by our first names! You'll do it right?" She was basically pouting, except you couldn't see it. You just knew she was from her tone, and at the end, you couldn't help but yield.

"Only if you call me by my first name as well."

You were glomped in a friendly hug again, as this time you weren't too surprise to be squeezed into an embrace by the two most excitable girls. This was nice. You really do have sweet friends, don't you?

"But seriously, who knew you were hiding such a huge secret?" Kaminari suddenly jumped into the conversation, after a long witty conversation with the other two, he pursed his lips as he remembered something, his body jolting up at the memory, "Then that spider...?!"

"Oh right, I'm really sorry Kaminari-kun, that was my fault." You apologized, feeling the slightest bit guilty. Joltik went along during that time you hang out with the humanize Pikachu and had accidentally made Kaminari basically combust and fall into the fountain. Since that was out of the bag, you decided to apologize thoroughly. You bowed lightly, but that was enough to cause Kaminari to act out wildly at your apology.

"Woah, Woah, there's no need to go that far!" Kaminari quickly intervenes, "I was just surprised to see it again!" He visibly panicked, mortified at your gesture.

"Not cool dude," Sero said, as Kirishima shook his head left and right at the electric boy, perhaps feeling more teasing at the earlier conversation they had. "Making her bow at you for something like that." The tape-quirked boy teased.

"It's not like that!" You chuckled at the boy's banter, before Mina leaned closer to you, asking you curiously with an excitement that couldn't be contained, brimming with anticipation.

"So does that mean you brought them with you right now?" The pink-skinned girl asked, as you blankly returned her questioned.

"Huh?"

"Yeah, can you show us?" Tooru bounded closer to your form, obviously excited as well from her overall jumpiness. Both her and Mina were quite interested in the Pokémon, and though you wouldn't mind showing the creatures, now wouldn't be the best times.

"I as well would like to see them, I'm quite curious." Yaoyorozu pointed out, Jiro herself asking, "There was a squirrel I think? How is it?" Jiro questioned, presumably about Emolga, who was in her grip back then.

Trying to tell them you couldn't today, you were cut off by Tsuyu, who tilted her head curiously, "Then I want to ask about that elephant, kero."

You sweated, unsure what to say or how to reply. And just like that, your hero arrived, rushing to the podium in weird motion, quickly yelling out orders as he reached his destination with a straight-laced voice.

"Everyone, the class is about to start, please get back to your seats!" a strange intenseness was wafting out of Iida, as he stared at the crowd.

"Hey, you did this already!" Sero complained with a point, feeling a familiar déjà vu altogether. Begrudgingly everyone followed Iida's direction and went back to their seats. Iida was glowing in a new found pride, he must've failed earlier you thought with an amused smile. You, on the other hand, sighed in relief.

"(last)-san, you should get to your seat as well." Iida was firm, as he walked your way in a slow jog, moving his arm robotically as he says.

"Ah-okay Iida-kun." You nodded to his words, as he was quick to switch up to a more natural grin.

"Though I can't say I watched, I'm glad you're doing alright now." He gave an awkward pat on your shoulder, kind of like how a dad would complement his son who hated him or something, as you raised a brow at his action, feeling the slightest bit laughter bubbling.

"Right, Thanks-I'm fine." You replied just as awkwardly, as the male took his hands off from your shoulder. As you moved towards your seat in the back, your eyes made contact to Uraraka, who was strangely silent by her desk. Now that you think about it, it was strange of her not to join in the conversation, as you grew worried. You smiled when your eyes met, but she only made a small smile in return.

As you sat on your seat in confusion, Uraraka turned to you quietly, appearing much quieter than she usually is, "Hey (last)-chan..." She appeared guilty, and you weren't too sure why, as you easily smile, trying to bring her to grin back.

"Is there something wrong?" You questioned, peering into her chocolate eyes, as she waved her arms in panic.

"Ah-nothing's wrong. I just wanted to ask," You waited patiently, curious at her strange reaction. She fiddled with her fingers, twirling them around each other as she avoided your gaze, causing you to be more concerned. She suddenly sighed, and smiled your way, and changing the subject, "Who do you think will replace Aizawa-sensei for homeroom?"

You knew she wasn't going to say that earlier, but you went along with it, humming in thought. Well, to be honest, you were already a hundred percent sure who will take over Aizawa.

"Well, it's got to be..." You grinned unconsciously, "Aizawa-sensei himself of course."

Uraraka blinked "Eh?"

The door was swiped open without a word, and Aizawa-sensei in all of his glory still wrapped up like a mummy you noted, came into the classroom with a 'morning'. The whole class was quiet for a mere second, before-

"Aizawa-sensei, you're back too soon!"

You watched in amusement as Aizawa sluggishly made his way towards the familiar podium. Uraraka stared widely, whispering hushly your way, "How'd you know?"

"Lucky guess." You mused as she turned face-forward.

Kaminari added with a frightful gaze, perhaps amazement, "You're too much of a pro!" staring at the sluggish man, supposedly their teacher.

Iida raised his arms harshly, asking right away, "So you're alright now, Aizawa-sensei?"

Uraraka added with a worried expression, "Can you really call that being alright?" She basically whispered as you chuckled at her words.

"My well-being doesn't matter. More importantly, the fight isn't over." The teacher replied hoarsely, still recovering from his injuries, as he stood apathetically by the podium, as everyone began growing nervous.

"Fight?" Bakugo brows furrowed.

"Don't tell me..." Midoriya nervously added.

"The villains again?!" Mineta's teeth chattered in fear, as he held his head with shaky eyes.

Aizawa gave another one of his long pauses, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats. His gaze steely, unwavering with fear as he finally opened his mouth.

"The U.A Sports festival is drawing near."

Everyone suddenly cheered, "That's a super normal School event!"

Ah yes, the school's sports festival. You've been hearing about this event from literally everyone, and almost every day. At this point, you have grown used to the excitement lingering in everyone's features at the mere thought of the event. It's still a wonder how big this event this is compared to simple sports festivals. You remembered your old school's sports event, and let's just say you wouldn't make much of a difference joining any of the events provided. But you did enjoy the fun atmosphere, and the relays were okay. But it was just that, a normal Sports festival.

Kirishima was glowing in excitement, completely pumped up as he repeated the exact same words with a wide grin, "That's a super normal event!" He was suddenly pushed in the face, as the excitement, Kirishima had created died down in mere seconds by Kaminari's worried movement.

"Wait a minute!" He promptly turned his direction towards the teacher, as Jiro questioned with curiosity.

"Is it okay for us to have a sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?"

"It's necessary to demonstrate that U.A's crisis management protocols is as solid as a rock for the event." Aizawa-sensei replied easily, "Compared to past years, there'll be five times the police presence." That's necessary you supposed, as the teacher continued, "Anyways, the sports festival is the greatest opportunity you'll get."

"It's that important huh..." It was going to be on television after all, but it still was somehow, unreal for a sport's festival.

"Our school festival is one of Japan's biggest events. The Olympic was once the world's sports festival. And as far as Japan's concerned, what's take placed of the Olympic was the U.A Sport's festival!"

Yup, you were going to hurl. You crossed your arms, watching as everyone buzzed with excitement. Yaoyorozu informed, completely prepared. "Of course, all the country top heroes will all be watching, they'll be there scouting."

"Naturally you'll gain valuable experience and popularity if you get picked by a big-named hero, but your time is limited, show the pros what you're made of and you'll make a future for yourselves." Aizawa's blunt encouragement made everyone silent, as they listened carefully to the teacher, "This happens once a year, so you got three chances. If you're hoping to become a hero, this is an event you can't miss!"

'So scouts...The bigger named-hero, the better. So they'd have more experience in learning of the hero world, and perhaps gain some recognition from said heroes. I see...' You pondered to yourself, as Homeroom was dismissed, and everyone's blood is pumping, 'So it's a competition between first years, and the ones that showed the most potential will get chosen, so everyone here has to show off their quirks to the max....'

You messed with your hair, as you remembered, 'and by everyone, that includes me. It's no longer 'they' but 'we'.'

~o~o~

"Even though all that stuff happened, I'm getting really excited!" Kirishima yelled to the ceiling, completely pumped for the festival, as the final bell rang indicating Lunchtime.

You were currently busy handing out assignments to everyone, requested by Cementoss who had just left. You gave one to Aoyama, who thanked you in French, which you could only nod too, as you heaved a tired sighed.

You couldn't help but wonder if this isn't supposed to be the class president's job, who by the way is looking rather dejected he wasn't asked to do such as task. Usually, this would be given to the head of the class, or the troublemaker of the day. You didn't see how you fit that category.

Well, you did doze off a bit in the middle of class. But you didn't sleep in class, absolutely not! [You totally did.]

Setting down each Modern Literature homework down each desk, you overheard the boys in the back chatting in complete excitement. It was practically oozing, and you were hit full force of this as Sero moved to elbow Kirishima playfully. "If we put on a show for the pros, we'll have taken the first steps to be a pro ourselves!"

"It was worth it coming to U.A." Seto complimented, pounding a fist into his hand, as Tokoyami agreed, sitting on top of the desk, "We will only receive a few chances. We cannot afford to miss this."

You walked around, setting down each paper down. You moved closer towards Ojiro and Tooru, who were both chatting about the festival as well.

"Ojiro-kun, I'm getting kinda nervous now!" Hagakure exclaimed, "I need to stand out in the sports festival." The girl stood in front of the calm male sat on his desk as you reached them. You handed her one of the paper which she took happily.

"Y-Yeah, But the pros might not notice you unless you try really hard," Ojiro added to the energetic cheering girl, who was doing a small cheer. You handed the paper to Ojiro who smiled politely, "Thanks."

Not listening to Ojiro's words of truth, Tooru began bombarding you with questions of her own. "Hey, (name)-chan, what do you think I should do to stand out?"

You tilted your head at her question, slightly surprised by how quick she got acquainted with your first name, as you concluded quickly, tightly clutching the stacks of paper to your chest. "Um...well, don't most people wear colorful clothes to stand out more?"

"So that's it? Alright, then I'll start dressing up more!" She was quick to agree, much to your and Ojiro's dismay.

"Um-I'm pretty sure that would defeat the purpose of your quirk though..." Ojiro added once more, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly, as you nodded along, a small grin relapsing.

"I kinda meant that as a joke Haga-Tooru-chan?" you corrected, as you saw her deflate in embarrassment. "But you know, I don't think you need to stand out, you already stand out by being yourself." You said what you had in mind in the first place, glad to find it worthwhile as she grew obviously delighted.

"Aww-thanks (name)-chan!" She cheered happily, quick to cheer you on as well, "I'm sure you'll do great at the sports festival! Don't you think so Ojiro-kun?" She directed her question to the silent boy, who went stiff at being called out.

"Y-Yeah." He stated, almost uncertainly. Ojiro seemed to be quite the opposite of Tooru, who was energetic and cherry, holding a rather shyer visage. You wouldn't exactly call him shy though, it appeared like he was politer and not the type to stand out all too much.

"I'm sure you'd be great at the sports festival as well Ojiro-kun, let's do our best." You encouraged, politely, feeling the need to say something to do boy. The tailed-boy simply blushed lightly, before awkwardly nodding.

"T-Thanks."

"..."

"..."

An awkward tension was wafting out the both of you, as you tapped your foot uncertainly, whereas the blond was silent in his own seat. Tooru who was watching this first-hand was turning from you to him, also rather silent.

"Um...I'm going to go and give out these assignments." You said, excusing yourself from the situation altogether, as he nodded, smiling your way. Tooru, who had observed this interaction, suddenly called with a cheery goodbye.

"...Ah-Okay (name)-chan!" You left pondering to yourself.

...That was the most awkward conversation you had with anyone.

The uneasiness you felt was running up and down your spine, and you just felt the slightest urge the groan in frustration and embarrassment, as you continued to hand over the worksheets.

Peering by the corner of your eye, you could see Tooru running up towards Ojiro, loudly thumping his desk as he didn't seem to respond. You weren't too sure how he looked from behind, but from his overall posture, he looked just the slightest bit embarrassed.

You passed the group consisting of Jiro, Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, and Shoji, where the electric student was complimenting the many-armed boy on his brawniness, which the latter countered with the fact if he couldn't show his usefulness. You weren't too sure what's in store, or what kind of events awaits the festival, but you assumed the stronger quirks gets the worm.

"I think you'll stick out too." Jiro quickly pointed out to Kaminari, barely able to stop herself from laughing at the memory. You hid a chortle yourself, which wasn't unnoticed by the purplette. "(name)-chan seems to agree." This didn't stop herself from releasing her own giggles this time as Kaminari was basically seething appalled.

You quickly left the scene after that, watching as they began bantering even more.

You were closer to Midoriya, as he was practically amazed by the boisterous chatter everyone in the class was having, appearing shocked, "Everyone's so into it!"

"You're not?" Iida asked from his seat, standing stiffly before doing rather eccentric movements. "We have enrolled here as heroes, so of course we would be fired up!" He continued, no squirming, currently 'fired up' in his own special way.

"Iida-chan, you have a very unique way of getting fired up." Tsuyu said, about to go towards the cafeteria with Mina.

Iida moved his attention towards Midoriya, questioning curiously, "Midoriya-kun, you don't feel the same way?"

"Of course I do." Midoriya said, before hesitantly continuing, "But something's..."

"...strange?" You questioned by his side, as they both turned towards you. You shrugged quickly though, simmering your questioning gaze to a smile, "Well, I can't say I'm ready for the sports festival myself..."

"Why is that (last)-san? I hope you're planning on doing your best with your quirk!" Iida stated as you looked away in response.

"I'm just not used to it yet I suppose." You handed both Midoriya and Iida the worksheet, which they both took gratefully.

"I see...especially since it was just yesterday when the news-!" The turbo-engine was extremely understanding, even in his own way. Doing eccentric move as he replies, as Midoriya agreed with the hint of worry on his feature, seeing as he was the one that at least knew more than the rest.

"Oh yeah, that's right." The green-curled freckled boy nodded his head lightly.

"But don't worry, I'll be fine." You reassured, standing straighter to prove a point. The sports festival was a huge deal, you did not one to drag down anyone with your own hesitation. In fact, it was strangely gratifying to see everyone so pumped up, you were pretty sure Bakugo was even smirking to himself as he walked off.

"But (last)-san!" Suddenly Iida didn't look so eccentric, appearing frustrated again, "To think you bested me, getting Cementoss-san to pick you to hand out the assignments! I have to do better!"

Both of you and Midoriya sweat-dropped perplexedly, you waved your hand with a forced smile, "It's really not what you're thinking Iida-kun..."

Suddenly, someone cut into your conversation, and Iida frustrated movements were cut short. "(last)-chan, Deku-kun, Iida-kun..." A guttural voice peeked through your conversation, sounding strained with deep emotions, and you all turned to acknowledge said voice who turned out to be the sweet tea girl herself, who's not exactly looking like herself. In fact, she looked a little too intense. "At this sports festival, Let's do our best!"

"What's wrong with your face Uraraka-san!" You all basically took a step back at the strange intenseness Uraraka had the mixed feeling of jumpiness and uncertainty. You, particularly astonish at her change, move closer to her, "You okay Uraraka-chan?"

"You're not looking very Uraraka, Uraraka." Mina was quick to point out blankly at the obviously excited female. Butting in the conversation, Mineta determined, "Maybe it's P-, "Before he could finish his comment, he was whiplashed across the face with Tsuyu's tongue.

In a quick motion, she raised her arms fiercely, "I'm gonna do my best!" As everyone cheered after, some more awkward than the other. Then she did the exact same thing, except towards the band of confused boys at the back.

"She's really pumped up." You commented as Midoriya nodded in agreement, sweating slightly. Midoriya paused mid-fist-pump, mumbling next to you.

"Come to think of it...I've never asked Uraraka-san..."

~o~o~

"For money?!"

Furiously rubbing the back of her head, a sheepish Uraraka was averting her eyes. You were equally surprised to hear her explanation, as you walked next to the trio, heading straight towards the canteen.

"Ultimately, yeah." She was blushing, pressing both of her hands against her cheeks in downright flustered. "Sorry, it's such an unwholesome reason, especially after hearing Iida's admirable motivation, it's embarrassing..."

"But why?! There's really nothing wrong to be seeking a more comfortable style!" Iida in weird movements waved his arms like a mantra, with Midoriya peeking over, "Yeah...it's just a little unexpected..."

"I'm sure you have a reason right Ura-Ochaco-chan?" You mumbled unsurely, averting your eyes before staring at her with a smile, "Knowing you, I'm sure it's just as admirable as Iida's."

Uraraka's cheek burnt a little brighter, awestruck, "U-Um...well my family runs a construction company, but business is bad, we're poorer than poor."

"Ah, I see..." You nodded, grasping the situation. Both Iida and Midoriya similarly made a thinking motion.

"If you get permission to use your quirk, wouldn't your quirk help cut cost," Midoriya asked.

"That's true." You added you gave it some thought afterward, "Although the government's pretty strict for the 'No quirk's outside of hero work', I don't think it would be hard to be able to help..."

"Right, that's what I said! But my dad..." Uraraka seemed ecstatic that you all agreed before she went silent. Perhaps a memory crossed her before she gave all of you a motivated gaze. "I'm gonna be a hero. I'll make that money so that my mom and dad can have easier lives."

All of you stood stunned, and silence enveloped your band of friends before Iida was quick to slice the silence with his over-exaggerated applause.

"Uraraka-san...bravo!" Iida was clapping heartily, as you stayed silent. 'That's extremely admirable...' you couldn't help but think as Uraraka grew a bit embarrassed by the praise. 'An easier life...' you pondered.

"B-But never mind that!" Uraraka rushed towards to your side, looking at you in shock, "What did you call me before?!" She looked quite animated, with her wide chocolate eyes staring at your own.

"Um...Ochaco-chan?" You worded it out slowly, before feeling ashamed yourself, "The others insisted me to call them friendlier? It's kind of weird saying it out now..."

"No, no, I like it!" Ochaco pulled your hands with her own, a wide smile overtaking her, and you felt a wave of relief seeing her smiling after earlier, "Ochaco it is!" She giggled, causing you to follow her example.

Speaking of before, you hesitantly asked, "Are you really okay though?" She tilted her head in confusion, as you elaborated, "You were a bit silent before..."

"Oh!" She looked reluctant, before she nervously asked, "Is the...um, Pokémon was it? The one that got injured okay?"

"He's doing better." You explained before you finally realized the strange actions of her, "Were you worried?"

She averted her eyes again, "I felt bad I couldn't do anything, especially since it's my fault it got injured." She nervously fiddled her fingers, but you disagreed with her statement.

"No, it isn't. Absol is hard-headed, he wouldn't back down from a fight even if I told him." You replied with a shake of your head, as your heart warmed at Uraraka's kind action, "I never got to say it, but thanks for taking care of him while I couldn't."

"I wouldn't be sure how he was doing if you weren't there with him." You said, smiling heartily, as Uraraka eyes glowed.

"(name)-chan..." She looked even more indebted.

As all of you move towards the cafeteria, a sudden intrusion cut into your conversation, a familiar boisterous laugh. You knew exactly who it was as said man appeared from a corner, pointing a hand at Midoriya.

"Young Midoriya is here!" With wide eyes, the three of you stared at the pro-hero flabbergasted, as Midoriya questioned uncertainly.

"All Might, what's the matter?"

The large hero in his suit, suddenly seemed meek, as he took out a carefully wrapped bento. "Lunch! Wanna eat together?" He appeared to be hiding.

"He's like a school girl!" Uraraka spitted in astonishment, deducting after watching the heroes action. You spatted yourself, cackling, "All Might, there's no need to hide!"

"Oh young (last)! You too!" He added, turning his attention to you, bringing out a hand to wave you forward. You immediately quieten down your laughter, as you found yourself confused at the action. You understood Midoriya, but you too?

With agreements of both Uraraka and Iida, both of you followed the hero to the break room. Uraraka and Iida made their way towards the cafeteria, lining up in a specific line for certain lunch as Uraraka couldn't help but question.

"Wonder what he wants with Deku-kun and (name)-chan?"

Iida commented, deducting quickly, "I heard that All Might rushed to fight alone during the USJ incident, both of them were quick to rush in and help. Perhaps that's it?"

"I guess he's interested in (name)-chan's connection with the Pokémon!" Uraraka beamed at the thought, before adding her thoughts on Deku, "And just like Tsuyu-chan said, Deku-kun and All might have similar strength."

"Perhaps he has taken a liking to both of them," Iida commented. This didn't go unnoticed by another classmate, who eavesdropped the conversation from the front of the line. Todoroki's eyes narrowed for a moment.

'They got close...'

Midoriya couldn't help but think, as he watched you and All Might chattering idly about something he wasn't too sure of. You sat next to the skinny-hero, drinking the tea the teacher provided, as you were laughing together like it was a casual meet up.

"You're right, they weren't much trouble at all!" All Might told you with a grin, he even changed form to make a large boisterous laugh before spitting out blood and returning to his original form. You gave him an 'I-told-you' look, grinning yourself, glad to see the hero not having too much trouble.

Strange, he didn't seem all that confident though as he says this. But you decided to ignore it, complimenting the teacher.

"I knew you could do it!" You cheered on, fist-pumping. You remembered coming home, and seeing all the Pokémon looking quite ecstatic, perhaps normal even. Kind of strange now that you think about it, as Midoriya watched warily, why did you appear as the teacher instead of the hero?

"But, I think one bit me earlier," All Might scratch his head, showcasing his hand that was clearly bitten. "And another got frightened, kind of lit a fire, but it's all good!" You suddenly took a turn off worry, staring at his injured hand.

"Did you get it disinfected yet? Which one was it?" You fretted, now feeling terrible. The teacher was now trying to get you to stop worrying about it, and this time Midoriya couldn't help but wonder if he was losing to his own mentor. Wait, lose? Midoriya blushed red, his whole face was red, as you fretted the teacher.

"Eh, Midoriya-kun, are you okay?" You questioned worriedly, as the boy reacted by covering his face.

"N-Nothing!" All Might paused at his apprentice reaction, slowly piecing together the pieces, but he decided to ignore it.

"Back to getting to topic though." All Might turned serious, eyeing his apprentice with enough vigor to make him stiffen, back straight like an arrow. All Might slouch over and explain. Something that made both you and Midoriya concerned.

"Only 50 minutes?!" Midoriya shouted, involuntarily of course, but that didn't stop him from staring at the hero fearfully.

"Yes, my time limit is getting shorter by the day." All Might answered, handing the younger male a cup of tea. "I can barely hold my muscle form for an hour."

You pursed your lips uneasily, thinking about it carefully as you worded it out cautiously. "I still don't understand much of how your quirk works, but possibly due to transferal process of All Might-sensei's powers," You gestured towards the pro-hero, before moving it towards Midoriya's guilty face, "to Midoriya-kun's body, it's causing sensei's body to weaken at the same time as losing his powers." You scratched a side of your head, hesitant to continue, "At this point, All Might could be lessening his time limit every time he changes form."

Midoriya flumped forward, eyes downcast, "I'm sorry..."

"Don't apologize!" Spurting out blood, All Might look away from the guilt-faced boy, "We're so alike you and I."

You felt terrible yourself, probably initiating the apology from the greenette, "Uh-! This isn't something you should feel bad about, Midoriya-kun..."

"I actually want to talk to you about the sports festival." Switching the topics, the number one hero pointing towards the freckled male, "You still can't regulate your One For All yet right? So what do we do?"

That's right. If Midoriya wants to show his power at the sports festival, he still needed to use his quirk, or at least show the potential it will lead him as a hero. You sat crossed leg, as Midoriya forest eyes lit up, as he stared towards the hero eagerly.

"T-There was one time when I attacked that brain villain, there was no kickback!" You kind of remember that, but you were held captive by the head villain. The thought of the villain made you shiver as you shook off the memory.

"So, you're saying you didn't get any injuries?" You questioned, as he nodded.

"That's a start! So what made that different?" All Might appeared eager himself, sitting at the end of his seat. All Might form is definitely different, but you can tell they are the same people.

"I used it," Midoriya started, thinking hard, "...Against someone for the first time."

"Hmm..." All Might pondered at Midoriya's statement, the boy clenching a fist, staring down at it, "Sounds like you managed to pump the breaks without even knowing it," The hero went to a long drone, thinking carefully, before he unexpectedly turned to your silent form, "What do you think young (last)?"

You drew back unexpectedly, droning out in confusion at the same time, "W-Well," You cleared your throat, gazing at the serious Midoriya, "When I think it's Midoriya-kun, I suppose that wouldn't be impossible." The male stared at you expectantly, waiting for you to continue as you smiled unconsciously, "Midoriya-kun's too nice of a person that he could do that without knowing."

Midoriya's breath hitched as once again he appeared embarrassed. All Might who had now finally pieced it together snickered, eyeing the starry-eyed kid dazedly watching the girl. The hero cleared his throat to gain both of their attention.

"In any case, that's progress...glad to hear it." He complimented, as Midoriya was slowly regaining normal color on his face, "Because, in all honesty, the time I've got left as the symbol of peace is quickly running out."

You and Midoriya didn't need to glance at each other to understand each other's feeling after the ring of truth All Might left, but at the end of the day, it still hurts. You yourself who wasn't interested in heroes, in general, felt a bit glummer. To gain such an injury, you couldn't imagine just how much the hero had pushed himself to the limits. You're one worry though resides on All Might's apprentice, who was very similar to the hero, in more ways than one.

"And among those with villainous intent, there are some who've started to realize that." All Might piercing eyes were stern, "I granted you this power so you could succeed me!"

"The sports festival...it's an event the whole country will be watching, and that means just one thing for us!" You watched the scene closely, as Midoriya almost stared blankly as the hero pointed at the student, "You. The next All Might, the fledging symbol..."

"I need you to tell the world, 'I Am Here!"

You didn't speak a peep after that, somehow feeling like you shouldn't interfere to this serious talk. Midoriya sweated uneasily, and you noticed his eyes just shaking at the words of All Might sprouted.

"Tell them, 'I am here?' but how do I?" There was clear demurral in the younger boy's tone, who spoke the words less enthusiastically.

"You know how the U.A sports festival work right?" All Might appoint the question to Midoriya, but he glanced at you to make sure you were listening. How could you not though, while you were listening to this intense conversation.

"Of course!" Midoriya proclaimed, listing the very thing you were told by Shinso, who apparently knew this by heart like Midoriya. You almost snorted out loud, Midoriya and Shinso would definitely be good friends, if Shinso wasn't being so solitary.

There obviously hero nerds. One look and it's obvious.

You snickered lightly, but they paid no mind, as All Might point two fingers over at him, That's right! In other words, you can sell yourself with everything you've got!"

Midoriya with a hesitant look replied with a mere, "...Right."

The couch fell down at All Might's strength, the hero falling down along with the fall, and you were forced to stand up in surprise as the hero spurted out blood, in shock by the lack of response. Before Midoriya could panic, the teacher stares at your form, practically lying on the floor.

"Such a poor response! how about you (Last)? You got to show your stuff as well!"

You blankly stared down at the hero, a pause circling you as you appeared to be thinking. Both occupants of the room stared at you with exceeding patience, before you shrugged your shoulder abruptly, smiling easily with a rub on your nape, "Sure I guess...?"

"Gwak!" All Might spurted another round of blood. You awkwardly laugh as Midoriya added to the obvious upset hero.

"I mean, what you say is absolutely correct!" Then Midoriya suddenly began rambling in his chair, mutters after mutter as you nodded alongside with him.

"But honestly it's kinda hard to get completely into it right after what happened..."

"That's true." You chirped.

"Besides All Might is already teaching me, so I don't feel a particular need to stand out..."

"I personally do not want to stand out as well." You added, twirling a piece of your white hair.

"In the first place, I don't think I could stand out in my current place, and I did terrible in the finesse test..." Midoriya continued his endless mumbles, as you finally added with a weak smile his way, "Midoriya-kun, you're muttering too much..."

"No one's better at sprouting nonsense than you!" All Might was at his wit ends before he pointed to you with a scold, "And stop encouraging him!" You weakly lifted your hands as if you got caught by the cops. As Midoriya appeared miffed, wording out, 'Nonsense?'

You noticed the blood dribbling past his chin, as you narrowed your eyes. "You should wipe that blood off All Might," You were quick to state, picking up a tissue to hand the teacher, who's mouth was covered in red, "It's not good to sprout out blood like that." You scolded suddenly, as he took the tissue appreciatively.

As he dabbed the tissue on to his face, you and Midoriya stayed quiet, patiently waiting for All Might to begin his explanation. With a heavy breathing spell, the hero peered at the both of you.

"Those who are always aiming for the top, and those who aren't." All Might lifted his head, the spots of blood still dribbling his chin, "The slight difference in attitudes will have a big impact once you go out into society." Bright sky eyes watching both of you. "I understand how you both feel, but this is for more me than you, I won't force you." He gazed back at Midoriya.

"I just hope you, young Midoriya, won't forget how you felt back at the bench park." He shifted his gaze towards you too, causing you to go rigid, "And you, young (last), to not forget why you decided to agree."

He was talking about the agreement you had with Principal Nezu. Though Midoriya stayed silent, head down, you were the first to heave a sigh in the silence, looking away before muttering softly.

"I-I'll think about it..." You tried to grin at the kind hero, who easily fixed you his own. Midoriya glance at you for a second, before you flopped back on to the fix couch, pondering with furrowed eyebrows.

"Though now that the discussing is at Ends-Why'd you called me here too All Might?" You questioned curiously, as this seemed to be more of a private conversation, that you weren't supposed to be getting into.

"I actually need you to follow me later," The hero waved his hands to wave off the upcoming questions, before he looked towards you with a seemingly fatherly grin, "Besides, your input helps a lot."

"Does it now...?" You dragged with an unconvinced tone, as Midoriya who had still seemed lost in thought, pulled his head up, agreeing with an expression of tenderness.

"It really does (last)-chan." You paused at his words, feeling giddy and overjoyed at his and the heroes compliment, as you laughed in embarrassment, placing your hands on your lap, shyly tugging your necktie.

"W-Well, I'm glad." You stated, hiding a smile.

The two, apprentice and teacher, beamed at the obvious delight in your action, looking away as to finally end this meeting. But then they were abruptly stopped by your voice.

"Ah-But wait a second." This didn't seem to sound like your usual embarrassed tone, in fact, it sounded serious and deeper as both of them halted, turning to your form, who had only move to put a hand in your chin.

"Midoriya-kun, I do think you should use your powers at the sports festival, as it's definitely an important event for you." You pointedly stated, "But I'd like to warn you, that there's a limit to how much you can break your bones."

The both of them flinches, as you narrowed your eyes, "I worry just how long until you're bones seriously turn to dust." Now they both sweated hastily, "As his mentor, I think you shouldn't encourage Midoriya-kun to overdo it, right All Might-sensei?"

"R-Right!" All Might was looking more fearful.

You gave them a menacing close-eyed smile, "Midoriya-kun has gotten injured about three times already at the start of the school year. Let's keep the injuries to at least a minimal." You tilted your head, "Did I make myself clear?"

They shook absolutely fearfully, "Y-Yes, Ma'am!"

Looks like they found out that you actually somehow could be terrifying. Heh, figures.

Omake (1)

You and Ochaco were holding hands in the middle of the hallway, not minding the weird glances you got from students alike, as you thanked Ochaco for keeping Absol safe. A glow of flowers and pink were in the background, and wow-did it just got windy all of a sudden, and somehow it's spring?

Midoriya and Iida were first seats to this incredible sight, almost feeling dull themselves as they were just literal steps from sprouting flowers and bright colors, as they squinted confusedly.

"I-It's so bright!" Midoriya commented, blocking his face from burning. As Iida fixed his glasses uncannily. "Is this what we call-girl bonding time?!"

"Huh?" Midoriya asked behind his hands, as Iida began moving on instincts, moving in strange motion again.

"I see!" He's glowing in pride all of a sudden, fixing his hands on his hips, "That's it! This only happens when a pair of females joint hands! A burst of color of flowers begins appearing! How beguiling!"

"U-Um...I don't think that's it Iida-kun..." Midoriya commented, before stating in confusion as the both of you continued holding hands in bliss. "Actually...when are they going to finish...?"

Omake (2)

Yesterday, an event when you were visiting your mother

All Might in his skinnier form peeked into the empty dormitory, as he heaved a sigh. Carefully going his way inside, he sneaked inside warily. Where were all the Pokémon? Weren't they supposed to be inside the building?

It was dark, as he quickly turned the lights on. Still not a speck of living creatures in sight.

With hesitance he entered the kitchen, and went quickly to action, not liking this strange atmosphere at all. He squinted at the long list you gave, reading them out loud after clearing his throat. He hadn't noticed as a figure scampered up onto the counter while he wasn't looking.

A clang filled the air, as the pro-hero turned towards the sound hastily, and came across the creature on top of the counter, which had accidentally kicked a pan down. The strange creature stared with shut eyes as All Might came closer hesitantly.

"H-Hey!" All Might accidentally yell, and this caused the Cyndaquill to curl into a ball with a fearful squeal, as the hero jumped back, sweating in panicked, "There's no need to hide! Uhh," The hero went to touch the creature when suddenly a red fire burst in its back and the hero was definitely panicking.

"Uh-Ok, Ok." All Might was downright panicking. He's all over the place searching for the goddamn extinguisher, running around like a headless chicken. He was surprised to see an unbothered fox just on the doorway, staring at him blandly. He wasn't too sure to do with this one, but he needed to get out and find the extinguisher.

"Excuse me?" He almost pulled out in a question when suddenly the fox, who was surprised by the movement of the hero, attacked with a bite. Zorua was quick to trot away from the hero, that was basically all around the place.

To be honest, perhaps picking the number one hero wasn't the best idea, cause the newbie teacher had barely any idea how to teach children in his own class, so how exactly were you supposed to trust him with creatures who could be barely told. Cue All Might swatting Cyndaquill with a fire matt he found.

Nonetheless, the hero left the dorm with all the food given, and he felt the slightest bit accomplished. Give yourself a pat in the back All Might, cause this accomplishment will only be appreciated for a while! For the pokemon that eaten had actually gotten a bit sick, and you only found out after school.

Just what did All Might feed them?

I need to apologize on something real quick over here. For the last chapter, I had made an error on the Pokémon that showed up on the last chapter, and this is regarding, Audino. To be honest, I made this mistake similar to another Pokémon, and that was Phanpy. I made the mistake regarding Phanpy's weight in earlier chapters, as Phanpy is actually heavier than I originally thought. It was the same case with Audino, but Audino was about height. I didn't check the heights and weight as carefully to be honest, and I probably should now that this happened twice already! I decided to leave the chapter as it is, just imagining Audino a little smaller for now. The same goes for Phanpy, who might be the one that will be revised later.

By the way, did you guys watched the detective Pikachu? I actually squealed a lot during the movie. I think it's a fun movie lots of Pokémon lovers could enjoy, so you should definitely watch it. Anyways, back to the topic, the sports festival arc is coming soon! Though I would warn lots of things are going to happen even before the sports festival begins! Hope you like this chapter overall, as I tried to fill in some romances in! Thanks for your always appreciated support, and supportive comments! Till the next chapter!
