Unforeseen Simulation Joint [USJ]
Hero Basic Training Class
Midoriya stepped foot into USJ, marveling at the sight before him in a different way. He felt hesitant as he entered the joint, remembering the events that took place in this very training ground.
It had been a while since the villain alliance barged into their training and caused havoc. All Might had taken a huge blow after the battle, as now the hero could only use his hero form for about 50 minutes before deflating. Aizawa-sensei and Thirteen-sensei had also been seriously injured and are both currently healing. Other than the teachers, no students got severely hurt during the battle, thankfully.
But surprisingly for Midoriya, he gained something positive during the attack. He experienced a battle with villains for the first time and overcame it, he came to know extraordinary species he had no knowledge of, and he had a great friend, who now knows his and All Might's secret.
Now, the class of 1-A are about to train once more, and Midoriya couldn't help but wonder what's in store for all of them this time.
"Well, that happened, but class is class!" Thirteen clapped eagerly, appearing more jovial than they should, as the class stared doubtfully at the eager teacher who was seemingly sparkling. "So, let's begin the rescue training!"
Everyone was rendered speechless at the buoyant teacher, before Uraraka hesitantly asked worriedly, her eyes shining waveringly. "Thirteen-sensei, can you really move right now?"
Thirteen did a small twirl in reply, a cute one at that, as they assured, "My back hurts a bit, but it's nothing compared to senpai." The astronaut-suited hero referred to their homeroom teacher, who was strangely not present at the moment. Midoriya noticed that and was about to ask before Kirishima beat him to it.
"Oh yeah, where is Aizawa-sensei?" Kirishima asked, scouring around the premise, raising a hand over his eyes, as if it would help him spot the teacher swathed in bandages.
"He should be here any minute now along with (last). Let's wait a minute for them before we begin." Thirteen requested, causing everyone to begin conversing with each other, just to pass the time, excitedly wondering what the class had in store for them.
"Hmm...What do you think they'll have us do today?" Midoriya muttered, speculating questionably to Iida, who gestured with his hand forward.
"Probably some standard rescue scenarios." The class-president deducted, as Midoriya droned, trying to imagine exactly what these scenarios would be.
A loud disgruntled hum caused Midoriya's eyes to flicker towards the brunette, who had puffed her cheeks, staring at the ground dejectedly, appearing miffed. Iida had also noticed, peeking curiously while Midoriya had interjected in confusion, stuttering unsurely.
"E-Eh, Uraraka-san...is something wrong?" The person in question didn't respond, her brows furrowing bitterly as Iida questioned resolutely, frowning at the strange action. "Did something perhaps bother you, Uraraka-san?" Iida gazed intensely, flickering his glasses to make sure he was seeing correctly.
Ochaco bit the inside of her cheek, humming more angrily before she gazes at the two. "It's nothing you guys, I just feel bad for (Name)-chan. I think I was a little too excited and got her in trouble," Uraraka pouted, fiddling with her fingers, causing the duo to 'ohh' and nod along with her words.
"Yeah, I also got pretty excited..." Midoriya nervously scratched the side of his cheek, remembering how the air quickly thickened when the bandaged hero pointed you out to bring the Pokémon and follow him outside. Not even a second later, you came floundering back to class depressed, while both of the Pokémon were confiscated to the teacher's room. After classes finished, you made a beeline to meet up with Aizawa-sensei, despairingly waving off everyone's apology, and practically groveling at Kaminari for forgiveness.
"With the rowdiness of the class, it is to be expected," Iida explained, eyes unwavering. He truly towered over the other two with his height, glancing down as he sternly faced the duo. "We all should've been more careful." He also had regretted what had taken place in the class, unable to tame the rage of fascination swamping the classroom before it was too late.
"But the Pokémon were just too cute!" Uraraka commented out of the blue, thinking about the cute animals she had gotten the chance to witness. "I just couldn't help myself when I saw them!" She felt jittery, pumping her fist at the memory, as Midoriya couldn't help but agree timidly.
"They were pretty powerful too." Midoriya shamefully remembered how Kaminari got smacked in the face by the mouse, Pikachu, and was completely knocked out. He hadn't even seen how much electrification it could emit. Midoriya was glad he brought his notebook with him.
Iida unsurprisingly looked ready to scold them, but that expression faltered for a second as a small smile rose from Iida's usually rigid expression, softening at the memory of the new-found guests. "...That is true..."
Iida quickly cleared his throat as if just realizing what he admitted, causing both Midoriya and Ochaco to leer a bit at the stiff president, curious at his vague statement. Earlier, he was rather commanding in trying to dissipate the masses of excitement, they hardly expected he had time to notice the Pokémon with how he was acting.
"But that doesn't excuse any of our actions! We were lucky we weren't reprimanded by the teachers-!" He agitatedly excused, eyes widening by a margin as he moved his arms erratically, causing the greenette and brunette to gaze harder cynically.
Uraraka loudly droned, squinting her eyes as Iida retreated a shaky step back, stiffening. She questioned with a leer, "Hmm...Iida-kun-, are you-!"
Before she could question the rigorous male, they were cut in by the small pitter-patter of an animal scampering over. "Pi-kachu!" The voice squeaked, causing the trio to glance down at the adorable creature making way towards them with a wide radiant cheer. Uraraka's eyes visibly awed, completely enamored by the adorable action.
"Pikachu!" She bent down, as the Pikachu had run into the brunette's comfy hug, piping elatedly. The two of them snuggled with eyes-shut, squishing cheeks together with wide smiles, red cheeks jutting out. "Aww~ you're so cute!" She cooed excitably as Pikachu just squeaked.
Apparently, after hanging out for mere minutes, Pikachu had taken a huge liking towards most of the class, eagerly befriending your classmates quickly with cuddles. It wasn't even a few seconds that Pikachu had them wrapped up in his little paws. Except for Kaminari. That boy didn't even get a glance.
Midoriya's eyes widen, staring at the yellow mouse a bit astonished. "Eh-Pikachu, how'd you get here?" After being hesitantly set down by Uraraka, Pikachu tilted his head a bit, oval eyes eyeing back at him in confusion at the obvious answer. That must mean-?
"You guys haven't started yet?" You inquired, sounding curious at the laidback atmosphere.
Midoriya bright green orbs swiftly glanced back upon hearing your voice, as if it was an automatic response. He had instinctively smiled without a thought, glad to see you back when he was struck surprised beyond compare, his face morphing to stupefaction. He retracted back, and heat flushed from head to toe, turning him into a gawking cherry. "(Last)-san, W-Wha-!"
"For someone that looks sleep-deprived constantly, Aizawa-sensei sure can talk your ear off. I suppose that must be a requirement of a teacher." You mused with a pout, still feeling worn down from the endless lecture you had to endure. Iida and Uraraka gaped at you, Pikachu the only one seemingly unaffected, scampered back to your form.
You stood in front of them, changed out of the school's required uniform, fixing your newly adjusted belt absorbedly, as the pouch attached to it pressed to your back. Your brand new hero costume was a suit in the color of a dark magenta, where you wore a jumper with a fascinatingly familiar symbol on the back, the capsule Midoriya caught you take out at times. The boy couldn't help but noticed how your petite hands were covered with fingerless gloves, exhibiting a fiercer visage, which really complimented you. Your new shoes were trendy, complementing your black leggings, as his face went red-hot once his eyes gaze there. Your silky snow hair was tied up neatly, keeping the strands that usually covered your face away, allowing him to see the high-tech eye-wear tightly covering your (color) eyes, as it flitted affectionately at Pikachu who clambered up your shoulders effortlessly.
Midoriya was spluttering in blood.
This is the first time anyone has seen you wearing anything apart from the school-standard uniform, and the sports jumpsuit, as even Iida and Uraraka looked momentarily speechless as your questionable gaze locked at each of them. You slowly got the gist of the dead air, causing you to turn shy, shrinking a bit. Your hand automatically raising to your nape as you blushed lightly.
"A-Ah, I had a bit of trouble with someone who messed with my costume design." You remembered chasing after the eccentric inventor around the campus, missing a step behind as the form was handed. You had no idea what to expect when it was completed, as you embarrassedly pulled your gloves tighter, eyes darting away from the trio. "It's not exactly as simple as I chose earlier, I'm actually surprised they finished it so fast-but I guess that's U.A for you..." You began, tightly smiling while Pikachu yipped approvingly once more. The Pokemon eyes had widened significantly when he first saw you, but he was quick to cheer in amazement, yipping approvingly with vigorous nods.
"Uwah! (Name)-chan, you look amazing!" Uraraka was the first to bounce over, looking you over as a bit redness rose to your ears. The brunette was gazing with wide chocolate eyes, awing at the outfit, as she gushed, eyes twinkling. You looked super cool!
It actually looked more modest than you expected, as it wasn't too forward like Aoyama's eccentric sparkles. The jumper was cute, the belt is actually pretty handy and now you didn't really have to carry your carrier around anymore for you can now slip in the poke balls to the newly added pouch.
You had to give it to Hatsume, she did great with your costume.
Which was a bit strange...she didn't seem like she had any knowledge in fashion...or maybe the first building your costume had tweaked it...
Uraraka held onto your fingerless gloved hands, gleaming with ecstasy. "It's really, really cool!" As Iida complimented with a nod, clearing his throat. "It suits you well (last)-san."
You chuckled awkwardly, thanking Iida, leaving the last person in the group who couldn't utter a single comprehensive word, blushing widely as he covered his mouth from spouting out nonsense.
It really gave off a new vibe, causing you to shine even more. You looked pretty...though he can't help but admit embarrassedly you had always looked pretty in whatever you wore, he dreamily thought. Midoriya's whole face was turning to fire quickly, as he kept staring at you till the point Mineta came over, knocking him back to reality when Mineta said.
"Hero training gets better and better." The grape-juice discreetly gave a thumbs up in Midoriya direction, which caused the greenette to vigorously shake his head with a red-face, spluttering.
"Thanks...but I'm not sure about it suiting me..." You fumbled with your modern eyewear, which was more like ski glasses. The way the world looked behind the screen was definitely a bit odd, but you'll get used to it. The costume designers worked hard on this specific wear, as you requested the item to be a bit more...flexible. You can't help but anticipated how well it will work.
"What are you talking about? It looks great!" The sweet-tea girl alleged. "You look like the sporty type now, like you take jogs every single day!" She encouraged, but you weren't sure how to take that comment.
"Well, at least people will think I'm fit I guess." You sighed, rubbing the mouse's neck affectionately, which made it cheer happily. Iida hummed approvingly, causing your eyes to flit in his direction as he stated.
"Other than the outer appearance, your demeanor in class is upmost importance, (last)-san." Iida fixed his glasses, eyes-shut, his sternness shining out at his moment. "But! What happened earlier was honestly appalling-!"
The trio of you had only sweat-dropped at the class president's now theatrical actions, waving wildly on the irresponsible event when Uraraka had pointed out with a sudden thought, "But Iida-kun, you were actually interested in the Pokémon too right?" Iida stiffened at the accusation.
"No I wasn't- I was simply-," Iida tried to justify, as Uraraka puffed her cheeks.
"Don't act like you weren't interested in the Pokémon Iida-kun, you admitted it just before!"
You shook your head at the duo, inputting into their conversation before they began bantering too much. "Ah-Sorry for causing a mess earlier Iida-kun...I had no idea it would be that hectic this morning." You smiled shyly, Pikachu ears drooping a bit in embarrassment for causing a scene. Uraraka and Iida's small squabble stopped as quick as it started, his brows raising as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"I see, well as long as it doesn't happen again it'll be fine." He sternly started, pointing out eccentrically, but in your surprise, a friendly gleam crossed his feature, softening his usual rigid features. "But Uraraka-san is Right-I was quite interested in the Pokémon as well earlier, so I have no reason to criticize."
"Ah-you too Iida-kun?" Midoriya inputted to the conversation, a nervous smile gracing his feature, as the brunette looked extremely content with Iida's confession. Shaking all the thoughts away, he focused on the conversation to hopefully keep his mind away from the gutter, as he avoided looking at you, causing you to send questionable stares, tilting your head cutely his way. Why are you making it difficult for him?!
Iida hummed firmly to Midoriya's question, "After seeing it in action for the first time, I grew interested in them. I had my doubts about the Pokémon at first, but after risking itself to help me alert the teachers, I lost my doubts. I'm amazed that they were kept in the dark so well. They honestly seem quite familiar now that I think about it." Iida seemed to be thinking a bit harshly at the last bit of statement.
You were attentive to Iida's explanation, curiosity spiking at 'the Pokémon'. He must've been referring to Absol right? The pup really does leave a lasting impression, something you couldn't help but take pride in, but regarding his last statement...
"There were times when they almost got caught by bystanders," You answered. "But we were able to keep them hidden from the general public, at least that was what I had thought." You spitefully commented, glancing around as if you were going to get caught for goading your boss's group. "It's actually no surprise that perhaps you did see them once in your life, you probably just don't quite remember, or maybe you were a tad bit young to remember."
A decade ago, the Pokémon were still small in numbers. But over time, since the population of monsters had grown, it's not surprising some people might've caught sight of them in some instances. Although you didn't expect for the population of Pokémon to grow so rapidly, you did hear some whispers of the strange appearance of creatures gossiped from passersby. But just as if time repeated itself from your great-great grandfather's years, no one paid much attention to these rumors.
Iida replied with interest, listening absorbedly, as he swiftly crossed his arms in thought. "I see. How peculiar."
Midoriya eyes had glanced from Iida to you curiously, finding the new information notable. Pokémon had roamed for a while, as you had explained, have they not? It is a bit strange no one quite knows them. But he did remember hearing something odd happened when he was younger, as he couldn't stop the memory from resurfacing.
A 4-almost 5-year-old Midoriya sat on the swing within the placid playground near his school, absorbedly focused on the blue cloudy sky. But rather than cloud watching, it was due to the hopes of the possibility of seeing All Might in the flesh.
The honored hero had been said to be bouncing about near here, saving troubled citizens left and right as we speak. If that was so, then maybe...just maybe, the hero he idolized might make an appearance before him for the first time ever.
However, as he strained his neck up to the sky, he unconsciously got absorbed with how entrancing the sky appeared as if it was pulling him as if he was floating on air. Then, as quick as it could be, he was shifting away from it in seconds. 'Huh?' He blinked and that's when he felt the harsh push on his forehead, causing him to make impact on the soil, pain spreading to his back. His tiny freckled face scrunched a bit as his friend's extended finger went back to the owner, who was snickering at the growing embarrassment on Midoriya's feature.
Bakugo, who wasn't too far away, was playing with a ball he brought. Of course, he didn't waste a chance to smirked down at the fallen boy. "Oi, daydreaming Deku?" He sneered, as the offending friend cackled louder, complimenting Bakugo.
"Good one Bakugo!" The boy that had just pushed Midoriya had just gotten his quirk and was able to actually extend his pointer finger at least a meter or so. Midoriya found it to be a cool quirk, perhaps he could learn to extend all of his fingers soon. The green-haired boy fumbled to stand up, dusting off his backside flusteredly, which just amused the trio friends, the third being a rather plump kid, that had sprouted wings just yesterday, who was rather proud of his quirk, hovering just a few feet off the ground.
"You should be more aware Midoriya, or who knows, you might be the next sick kid going to the hospital." The winged-child chided, but it sounded more like a taunt. The other friend step back, "Eh-what do you mean?" He was staring at the winged-kid keenly, eager to find out more as Midoriya blinked at them.
"What are you talking about?" Midoriya inquired, as the person in question smirked, pointing towards 'Kaachan', who was smirking down at his ball, proudly showing off that he was more knowledgeable than them.
"Curious? Well, since I'm so kind, I'll tell you the story." He shrugged as if it was no big deal. Kaachan had also already gotten his quirk, an incredibly amazing quirk, that Midoriya can't help but awe. Midoriya knew Kaachan was going to be an amazing hero in the future. The spiky blonde stood proudly, as Midoriya and the others were leaning in closer eagerly, but then the boy added, "If you're brave enough of course."
"Course I'm brave enough!" The boy who could extend his finger spiked back, as Midoriya nervously nodded. Was it a scary story? What did Kaachan know? Bakugo nonchalantly shrugged, the same wide smirk plastered on his face.
"Well if you say so." Bakugo eyes darted to the side as he spoke, "Do you know that one kid that got taken to the hospital?" Midoriya briefly remembered the troubled teachers announcing about a sick student who had been found on the streets, 'sleeping', and had to be check in the hospital. It sounded pretty bad last he heard, as the green-bushed boy nodded vigorously. Bakugo pointed a thumb to himself proudly.
"I saw what happened to him." The others gaped in amazement as Bakugo puffed up, sneering at the memory. "I was walking home and it was already late. Then I saw this kid, standing underneath a street light." Midoriya visibly flinches, the story going to a rather frightening tale.
"I didn't pay attention at first, and I walked past him." Bakugo shrugged, "But then he fell to the ground. I was confused. That when I saw a shadow, and I saw it." The cheeky brat paused, staring away, as the trio leaned closer, breathlessly.
Bakugo gazed at them, "A Villain Moth!" The trio gaped, as Midoriya questioned stutteringly, the sense of smallest worry washing over the green-haired boy.
"Was it scary, Kaachan?"
"Nope!" Bakugo brows twitched for a second, before he smugly continued, describing the villain as best as his little vocabulary could. "Usually Moths are this small-," He put his hands together, demonstrating how small they should be before he widened his arms widely. "But this one was this big! As the villain flapped its wings, I knew it was going to attack me."
The lordly boy felt big-headed when the trio awed simultaneously, as he smirked. "As it came for me-BAM!" Bakugo's red eyes gleamed, "I hit it with it my quirk, just like All Might!"
Midoriya gasp, gawking as the boy beside him asked excitedly, "And then?! Did you destroy it?!"
The tiny explosive wonder turned around, letting his friends basked in his glory, as they stared at his esteemed back. "I was going too, but it ran before I could."
Both friends were wonderstruck, eyes shining like stars as Midoriya couldn't stop himself, eagerly complimenting his close friend, Kaachan. "Kaachan, that's so cool! You're just like a real hero!"
"Well duh!" Bakugo mused, playing with his ball once more, an air of confidence surrounding him. "I'm going to be the number one hero! Unlike some Deku, I know." The two cronies of the spiked boy loudly guffawed, as Midoriya frowned, clenching the front of his shirt.
"Hey, that's mean..." Midoriya murmured, finding himself a bit hurt when his thoughts went back to Bakugo's word. The number one hero. He felt his heart swell at the thought if perhaps he could be a hero. Midoriya can't help but glance at his hands and touch his throat. He wondered when he'd get a quirk, at least one, just like his parents.
"I'm sure it was a super bad villain that attacked that guy. Bakugo is already beating strong people! Even our senpais don't stand a chance!" The rounder fella grinned, telling his friend excitably, as the boy extended his finger to scratch his head.
"Do you think so? What if it was something else?" Midoriya's excited gaze stared curiously at the boy's question. Something else? Bakugo shook his head at his naïve friend, tutting loudly, almost amusedly.
"Nah-It was definitely a villain." Bakugo leered closer as if telling a secret, yet he continued to speak proudly, making sure his words were distinctive. "I heard from the adults that the boy is bed-ridden, completely poisoned! That's gotta be some stupid villain's fault! A hero always defeats the villain even when he can't! A hero never gives up!"
All three of the friends couldn't help but sing Bakugo more praises, their faces stretching widely in grins that showed their excitement that left Bakugo's tiny head bloated to the brim. Midoriya eyes sparkled, as he clenched his tiny fist in amazement. Bakugo truly is cool!
Though Midoriya was a hundred percent sure it was a villain at that time, Midoriya did grow curious if it when he had entered middle school, the memory passing by. But his younger self was assured it was nothing because nothing's quite strange anymore in their world now. And Midoriya that day, just couldn't wait anymore He truly wondered what kind of awesome quirk he will have!
And that was the story of Bakugo's first battle with a 'villain', and how it made Midoriya even more impatient for the day when he'll earn his quirk.
Midoriya shook his head, coming back to reality after remembering his silly childhood memories. Reliving that embarrassing tale, he remembered the disappointment he felt after coming back from the Quirk doctor, and what had happened to the little friendship Bakugo and he had.
It's pretty funny that this was the story he had remembered. It kind of made him wonder...Maybe what Kaachan defeated was not a villain but a Pokémon instead?
Nah that's impossible, unless?
"Speaking of which, where did the cat...?" Midoriya glanced at Iida, who inquired, listening on to the conversation once more as Uraraka peered around curiously as only the cheerful mouse had made in appearance.
You blinked blankly their way before you unzipped the carrier bag you still brought around with you. Midoriya and the duo peered in to see a laying, dead-asleep Meowth, spread out like a starfish as a bubble formed with each breath he releases, drooling. "The cat's been sleeping the entire time. Probably knocked out by the excitement this morning." You explained.
For someone being all worked up about 'spying on the enemy', someone sure fainted quickly after realizing he wasn't going to be joining the Sports Festival in battle. Just great, and just when you were getting nervous for your first battle classes. Meowth sure wasn't any help, as it looks like the cat's going to be out till the class ended.
Midoriya caught the way your eyes had suddenly shifted nervously, a tense smile taking over. "Ah-(last)-san, you okay?" He asked worriedly, as your brows rose a bit at being caught.
"Yeah, I'm just a bit nervous about the class." You replied, almost spiting yourself, "Even though this is nothing compared to how I'm going to feel during the Sports Festival." You sighed, as Uraraka quickly patted your back like you were going to vomit all over any minute.
"It's normal to be nervous." Iida started, as Midoriya nodded. "I'm sure once you join along with the class, you'll fit right in."
Though you were thankful for Iida's encouraging words, they didn't seem to ease you much as the uneasy smile showed it all. Midoriya hummed, unsure what to do to ease your nervousness, still noticing your jittering self even behind that wide smile you tried to assure them with.
That was when Iida paused, contemplating his words, before deciding firmly with vigor. "Well then, since your nervous and this is your first time. As the Class President, I'll escort you through the class until you're thoroughly comfortable!"
You blinked up at Iida in surprise, the two others just as bewildered by his preposition before you find yourself giggling a bit. As Iida stood pressed and stiff like a log, for some odd reason, you felt your nervousness juggling away causing you to step forward thankfully. "I'd appreciate that, Iida. Then, I'll count on you." You responded with a smile, already put to ease.
Midoriya found himself unconsciously smiling, staring at the class president commendably. Iida sure was able to lift your spirits up quickly, he definitely was meant to be class president, unlike himself.
"Eh-no fair! You can count on me too (name)-chan!" Uraraka didn't seem to like being left out, as she butted in, causing you to smile at her thankfully. Midoriya watch as Iida scolded Uraraka for almost making you fall, which caused the girl to poke fun at the uptight male. The green-haired boy and you shared an amused stare at the duo antics, your eyes clashing briefly.
He was always fascinated by how you can smile so bright even when your nervous, just like in the USJ attack; He came to term that that's what he looks up to you for. That's right! he'll help you through the class as well with Iida and Uraraka, and make sure nothing bad will happen!
Because just like Uraraka, he doesn't want to be left out.
Hmm, now that he thinks about it-Midoriya's eyes wandered around curiously. Where was All Might?
"We are ready to begin training, let's start already. We are wasting time." Aizawa's rugged voice said, already turning around to make his way towards the central plaza after discussing with Thirteen a bit, sounding pretty sour.
Midoriya turned towards Aizawa-sensei, a bit nerved by the bandaged head before asking, "Aizawa-sensei, All Might was supposed to be meeting us as well, where is he?" You grew slightly curious too, scoping around to find the burly man. Midoriya knew the hero tends to like making grand openings, something the hero was pretty well-known for, but it didn't seem like he would show. He didn't cross his time limit once more, did he?
Aizawa-sensei didn't seem to care, walking down the stairs without looking back, before he uttered. "I don't know. Just forget about him." There might be a bit of spite in his words, did they fight?
You hummed, scratching your nape, as Midoriya grew worried. You glance at the greenette, "Perhaps he'll be joining later, for now, we should just focus on the class." You encouraged, as Midoriya stared back at you, slowly nodding obligingly.
Yeah-He'll just have to focus on the class for now, and he'll be making sure you, who had begun descending the stairs, become as comfortable as you could in this class.
~o~o~
"Let's start with Rescue Training! There'll be three people at the bottom of the chasm, one of them will be unconscious, the other will have an injured leg, and the last would be an over-worried civilian." Thirteen explained in front of his students.
Everyone was moved to the mountain zone, a vast area with rubble just at the brick of sliding down. The class was currently standing in front of the gorge, a dark abyss where nothing can be seen, as both Kaminari and Kirishima gazed down dumbstruck.
"What Height!" Kirishima bellowed, as Kaminari profanes in utter distress, "How are we supposed to get down there!?"
Iida wasn't moved by their pessimistic attitude, rushing to them in a blink of an eye, interjecting, "What are you both saying?" He skidded to a stop, leaning down to bellow loudly, "Are you ok? Do not worry, we will save you!" he raised a hand to cup his ear, leaning down as if the abyss was going to answer back.
"Your way to fast..." Kirishima sighed, as the electric boy continued, "Even though you're the only one..."
Iida then gestured to you, "Come (last)-san! We must assure the injured presently!" Then he turned his back to you to yell down at the endless pit again.
"Iida-kun sure is taking this escort thing seriously..." You commented dryly, with a small smirk plastered on your face, arms crossed next to Midoriya, who hesitantly nodded with a small sweat-drop.
The class president was already way ahead of the class and no one's pretending to be injured yet. You had to stifle another giggle. Oh, Iida, you can't say you dislike this vigorous attitude of his. Pikachu squeaked a bit at the odd behavior, tilting his head curiously.
The mouse had taken itself to stay on your shoulders, it's curious eyes always moving from one side to another curiously, perhaps the place reminding the mouse of the hikes the both of you had to endure near the caves. Meowth however, still snoring away in a good dream, was tucked away in your carrier bag sitting a bit far off from you.
The premise of the training exercise was pretty interesting, to say the least, and apparently, you weren't the only one getting a bit excited as Uraraka was finally amped up, shaking her fist energetically as she came towards you, abruptly holding both your hands tightly.
"Uwah! Let's save them! Let's do our very best (name)-chan!" You nodded slowly, stunned, as she bounced on the balls of her feet with a cheery mood which you could only smile back at. Pikachu voiced in agreement at Uraraka, ear twitching with a cheerful grin, making Uraraka gleam even brighter at the cute gesture.
"Yeah, let's do our best...you too Midoriya-kun." You called out towards the left out boy, who blushed as you beamed invitingly his way, causing him to blow a fuse.
"Huh?" He uttered, pulling the collar of his sports outfit, as Uraraka moved to pump her arms excitedly the green-haired boy's way.
"Let's do our best, Deku-kun!" Uraraka cheered, making Deku shyer, his eyes darting away from both of the girls in front of him, heating up. Watching them amusedly, you left the two to their own expenses, focusing on the task.
Petting the yellow mouse, who was trying to annoy you by poking your head consistently, you thought to yourself. 'So in rescue, you need to be extra cautious of the situation of each individual and pay attention to their current conditions. If each individual has different actions, then it's important to choose which individual to save first.'
"Let's start the first group!" Thirteen called out to the students, as everybody strode forward in a semi-circle, as Thirteen animatedly moved their pointer finger around, thinking, before they finally made their first group.
You watched amusedly from the sidelines, as Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida were chosen as the injured, and are now scuffling down below about their 'injuries'. Apparently, the ones who had to save them are, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Bakugo, perhaps one of the strongest students in the class. And the ones that might be too big-headed to help each other out, you thought inwardly.
The group did have a small banter, just like you expected of Bakugo and Todoroki to do, who probably would've gotten into a quirk fight if Yaoyorozu hadn't diffused the situation. Per usual, Momo really shows herself as the class's vice-representative, something you always awed about as Tokoyami went to fetch the students down the abyss.
"They're pretty good eh?" Sero commented, standing next to you, glancing curiously for your input. He bent down a bit, placing two of his hands on his hips staring at the scene, where both Todoroki and Bakugo are now making an effort to slowly hold the ropes and allow Tokoyami to reach the bottom of the chasm easily.
"Yeah...Yaoyorozu-chan's amazing." You replied heartily, Pikachu yipping a bit. Your eyes were sparkling after you complimented the vice-president, who was always level-headed in every situation she seems to get. Sero snickered at your awe, his hand coming to slightly tickle under Pikachu's chin.
"Yeah, she really knows how to handle any situation huh." Sero grin grew wider as Pikachu crooned. You watched as Uraraka had arrived up giggling, causing the class vice-president to scold her a bit. It was rather entertaining watching Uraraka trying to stifle her giggles as Momo was adamant about her light scolding.
"You sure find her cool huh?", finding your observant face rather cute, he was unable to stop himself from pointing out teasingly.
Your head veered back to the amiable boy, who grinned cheekily your way, realizing the male had taken Pikachu hostage in his grasp, which the mouse didn't seem mind. You blinked at his question for a second, taking in his question thoughtfully as you loudly hummed. After a while, you came to the conclusion that- "She's just very reliable."
"You didn't need to think about it so long!" After waiting so long for your comment, he was stupefied by your short answer. Sero and Pikachu sweat-dropped.
You scratched your head a bit, thinking it over. "Hmm-Well Yaoyorozu-san is really incredible...I mean watching her at the recommended students' entrance exam was almost spellbinding. She looked super composed. Not to mention her quirk is interesting, by using fat cells she-!"
You babbled excitedly out of nowhere, Sero could only blink at you, smiling with confusion. The mouse, who was quite used to this, just made a gesture to Sero to move it closer to you before Pikachu nudged your cheek with its paw, giving it a small pat to wake you up from your excited spur. You paused after realizing. "Ah-sorry."
"No...it's fine." Sero snickered again, finding the situation laughable as he finally dropped the mouse on your shoulder. He rubbed his chin, reminiscing a memory. "Now that I think about it, you're pretty rapt up about quirks huh? I remember you coming over and staring at my arms rather intensely the first time we met." He pointed out, teasingly might you add, addressing his Sellotape-like elbows as you embarrassedly scuttle at the memory.
"That's so embarrassing- how do you even remember these things..." You trailed off, shying your gaze away from the joshing male. The male in question had caught a glimpse of your bashful expression, feeling the small tinge of heat as he sniggered.
"Let's pull the next one." Todoroki's smooth voice made you glance back at the duo, causing you to notice Bakugo was momentarily distracted with something. As Todoroki's gaze was on the pulley Momo made, Bakugo was glaring hard at Sero's body to the point Sero would most likely be disintegrated at this very moment. Sero who didn't notice, or perhaps pretended he didn't notice, was still animatedly playing with Pikachu. Your brows furrowed.
Why was Bakugo staring so hard at Sero...?
You stared curiously at the blonde before he shifted his gaze on to you, now embarrassed and floundering around at being caught staring, your eyes meeting briefly as he gave you his signature hardened stare.
Then he scoffed, before sneering at the dual-haired student. "Shut up, just do it." They both had bent down to work on the ropes, as you were left watching vacantly.
'Bakugo-san is still scary...' You shivered, remembering how scary his expression was when he was staring down at Sero. But oddly enough, you blinked-. '...He wasn't as scary when he stared at me...'
"Rescuing without using your quirks is quite a taxing job, but that's how modern heroes shine!" Thirteen complimented, watching the team finally settling. Bakugo, who didn't seem eager to join the bandwagon, was now calmly following on, as Thirteen praised eagerly. Sero took this only once in a lifetime chance to input, turning away from the mouse on your shoulder.
"He's the only one pulling." Sero pointed out laxly, smiling coyly.
"Shut up you Bastards!" Bakugo replied quickly, spitting angrily, glaring heatedly at Sero, who took the blow with a shrug, as you only flinched to the side a bit as if you got slapped by the wind.
"He judged he could not use his quirk, that's the right thing." Thirteen explained, observing approvingly. "Acting in a normal way, there are many professionals who can't act this way. Once you remember that, you passed. I'm sure he'll be a beautiful hero someday!" Both you and Sero shared a look at the last comment.
"Beautiful...Hero..." You imitated, staring at Bakugo's back. "Pika pika...", Pikachu and you tried to search your mind for 'the beautiful hero: Bakugo', as sparkles surrounded the tuff hero-to-be back as he effortlessly worked.
"No, he'll never be a beautiful hero." Sero mused popping your imagination into smithereens, causing you to snort a bit. Bakugo didn't retaliate, but Sero's death seemed to be on the blonde's mind unceasingly, the dark aura around the blond, frightening.
You were too busy trying to calm your fit, covering your mouth unconsciously, that you hadn't noticed the piercing gaze of the heterochromia eyes burning your way, with an intention that wasn't anything positive, before it disappeared without a trace.
~o~o~
After the first group finished their tasks, it was your group's turn. In a surprising turn of events, you ended up in a team with Sero, who gave you a pretty derpy grin once you glance at him in surprise. Kaminari and Kirishima, who went back to gazing down the bottomless depth with question marks sprouting out of their heads, were also a part of your team.
If you must know, Pikachu made the most annoyed face it had ever pulled once it realized Denki was in the same group. You had to chide the mouse a bit for giving Kaminari the evil-eye when it thought you weren't looking.
But luckily Kaminari didn't take it to the heart.
...At least not that much.
He has actually been trying to get on the mouse's good side after the whole ordeal in the morning. It wasn't working, to be honest, but your glad Kaminari was making an effort, even though you weren't sure why Pikachu is so against the boy. Hopefully they'll get along just for the training.
"Yeah right I'll be saved by those extras, I'm saving myself!" Bellowed an angered yell from the chasm, as a stern-voice shouted at him to calm himself.
Oh yeah! Apparently, the people you had to save was a: knocked out Aoyama, who's imitating snow white at the moment, Yaoyorozu, pretending to have her leg injured as she scolded our very worried-or should I say angry Bakugo, who wouldn't stop raging for a single second.
It's a fun group down there, I'll tell you that.
"So, how are we gonna do this?" Kirishima scratched his noggin, muddled as he hopped closer to Sero and you. Kaminari gave occasional nervous glances at Pikachu, who had moved its head away huffily. Realizing the mouse was not looking, the electric boy smiled brightly at you, causing you to chuckle.
"Uh-Looking at the earlier team, how about Sero use his quirk and just...bring them up?" Kaminari suggested, his gaze falling to Sero, showing with hand-motion as he gestures to the gorge. Of course, when it comes to this situation, Sero's quirk would have the most advantage. However,
Sero shrugged, stretching his arms. "Sure I guess, but I don't exactly have the strength or ability to bring someone back up." He clarified, flexing his scrawny arm feebly. "Got to admit, strength isn't exactly my strong suit..."
You couldn't help but agree, eyeing Sero next to you openly, which made Sero turned his head to stare back at you. The way your eyes stared at him calculatingly made him a bit disgruntled, especially when the Pokémon loafing on your head did the same. "A-Ah, but I'm not that weak! I could definitely pull up a couple of guys up!" Trying to regain his tiny pride left, he sprouted more nonsense which made your brows scrunched up, disagreeing nervously at his sudden change of confession.
"Dude, just say you're weak and go," Kaminari commented unconvincingly, impassively waving Sero's attempt in gloating. With a defeated Sero, Kirishima, who had been silent, lit up with a bright idea.
"Since you can't actually bring them up, couldn't you just tie them up while we drag them up." Kirishima inputted, a sudden thought with Sero mummifying an angry muffled Bakugo as he was being brought up with a single tape entered everyone's mind as both Kaminari and Sero were baffled at his suggestion.
"Course we can't do that!" Sero rebuffed. "Unlike the last group, we don't have anything to keep them safe, pulling them as an object would definitely get us scolded!"
Kaminari was almost awed at Kirishima's bold suggestion. "You are way to simple-minded man..." He finally shook his head, tutting, before he had this euphoric moment. "Wait a second, what if instead, we get Kirishima here to carry everyone up! He's got the strength doesn't he?"
Kirishima was in the vicinity of Kaminari's side-hug, as the electric student rubbed his chin coyly, proud of his suggestion before Sero rolled his eyes, "Dude, that would be way too much work for Kiri. What was that about being simple-minded?"
You couldn't help it, but you had kind of strayed away from the conversation, busily assessing how far the abyss ends curiously. You made sure to try to pay attention to the scuffle the trio were having, at times, that was when Kaminari inputted sulkily, "Hey, I'm not that simple-minded! Whaddya think (la-!"
Kaminari turned to you for your opinion but was quick to clamp his mouth tightly, as Pikachu gave him another stink eye that made you sweat-dropped. You pressed your lips together, tapping Pikachu's nose, causing it to flinch and scrunched its nose, huffing and jerking back.
"Um..." You mumbled, "It would be a lot of work for Kirishima-kun to go down and bring everyone up, don't you think? so I think-"
"Ah don't worry about me; I could do it! Especially since I can go down easily," Kirishima pointed to himself, accidentally cutting you off as Sero and Kaminari gave him dubious stares. "I can just hop down without trouble, if I activate my quirk, it won't hurt a bit!"
Now the thought of Kirishima free-falling to the ground was displayed on everyone's mind. "Hmm...Actually that could work!" Kaminari strangely agreed to Kiri's argument, giving the red-head a thumbs up as Sero was shaking his head vigorously.
"That wouldn't work-he might hit the others below! And that doesn't necessarily solve the issue here..." Sero agitatedly scolded.
You gawped as the trio argued around their ideas back and forth, to the point it was almost hilarious as you watched even Thirteen seemed to be simmering down dimly. The others appearing just as exasperated at the scene, as Mina muttered vacantly, "Are they gonna be okay?"
No, you thought, dumbfounded. You and the rest are not gonna be okay.
What were they? A trio of Magnemite trying to link their brains together?
You stood anxiously as they bantered ideas, obviously not coming up with any conclusion, as you tried to give your own input. But either they were completely riled up, or too distracted to notice your attempt of proposing an idea, they continue arguing with each other over which idea would be better all while ignoring you. Your eyes followed each direction the conversation had flown to as the more you listened-the more you began to frown. This group wasn't going to get anything done at this point.
Pikachu, who wasn't impressed, ears perked abruptly, peering to the side as if entranced for a second. Its ears twitched and a wide beaming look overtook its feature before it began tapping your cheeks incessantly for your attention. You turned to the mouse antsily, finding the current situation troubling, as Pikachu blinked its big round eyes at you expectantly, causing your brows to furrow unconsciously. "W-What is it, Pikachu?"
You hadn't even waited long enough when the mouse pointed a paw towards the cluster of students where-
"(last)-chan, you can do it!" Uraraka was cheering, cupping her hands over her mouth with a wide grin, bouncing up lively. Iida, who was imitating an excessive traffic guard, was motioning vigorously and proclaiming loudly to assure the 'injured' first before thinking thoroughly with the plan, making wild gestures. While last but not least, Midoriya right next to the eccentric president was cheering awkwardly, raising a clenched hand as he gave a teeny smile, trying to show extra vigor as the two others.
In conclusion, it was a mess to witness.
"Pft!" You snorted again, feeling flattered at the comical scene, in which the lively trio was acting as your very own cheerleaders. You can't help but give a small wave, before you unconsciously glance back down at the canyon, small rocks descending to the darkness where you can hear Bakugo's angered complaints on what's taking so long.
You heaved a deep breath in, 'Alright...It's no different from saving a wild Pokémon'
With determination, you hurried back to the group, looking ready to get into a fistfight in a matter of seconds, before you cut in firmly. "Guys, I have an idea."
.
.
.
"Geh." Bakugo kicked a pebble away detestably, gritting his teeth so hard they were going to cave in at any moment as the tantrum-boy marched around the empty canyon, angrily glaring at the ground beneath him. After feeling like he trudged around enough, he yelled with a spiteful huff. "What's taking those fucking extras so goddamn long?!"
Momo, already completely through with stopping the explosive bomb from exploding, just heaved a tired sigh. She sat on the cold, hard ground placidly, taking her initial role as 'injured citizen' quite seriously. Aoyama wasn't too far off, taking his role even more seriously, as he was sprawled out on the floor with his eyes shut like an unconscious princess.
But Aoyama's eye began to twitch, and small sweats began descending down. He begrudgingly peeked an eye open, muttering with a feigned smile, "They sure are taking quite some time..." He was beginning to get impatient as well.
Yaoyorozu heaved another sigh, planting a hand on to her cheeky. "Yes, it looks like their having a scuffle. Hopefully they'll come to an agreement as soon as possible." She sat stiffly, craning her head to the sky to hopefully catch a glimpse of their 'saviors'. Were the group above not coming up with a solution? The recommended student was quite looking forward what the group had in store since this is someone's first hero class. But this was taking quite longer than expected...
When she was about to sit back a bit, her sharp eyes swiftly caught sight of something above. She sharply composed herself, directing her words to the complainers.
"They're coming!"
Aoyama went right back to pretending to fall back to unconsciousness with a distressed sigh, while Bakugo only clicked his tongue, looking up with a glare. "Bout' time..."
Momo was waiting ardently, her keen eyes swiftly watching as two people jumped off the cliff and were heading down, like an arrow from a bow, falling gaudily. The air of confidence oozing out of the duo, who were smirking widely on their way down to their demise, could be felt from below. Her eyes widen, and Bakugo's narrowed eyes twitched, "Hah?"
You were crouched down, watching as Sero and Kirishima were getting close to the ground, only attached together by a single tape, courtesy of Sero. You zoomed your attention to the trio below, the lens from the glasses making it easier to notice them gazing up stumped. "We should bring Aoyama up first, as he is the unconscious one...Kaminari, be prepared."
"Prepared for what?!" Kaminari was gawping at the duo free-falling to the cold hard ground in horror, glancing back and forth to you then to his teammates. He attempted to side closer to you before he noticed the Pikachu blocking his path, keeping an eye on him from the corner of its eyes. Kaminari opted to just lean as close as he could. "(L-Last)-chan! Are you sure they're going to be okay?"
You glanced up at Kaminari, picking out a poke ball before handing it Pikachu to hold for you. His tiny paws held the much tinier ball easily as he tilted his head curiously at the falling duo. You fished for another Poke ball, before getting up. "Don't worry Kaminari, they'll be fine. Sero would be able to catch them before they splatter down like a pancake." Kaminari gaped at your words.
"That doesn't sound good, what if they actually splatter like a pancake!" Kaminari panicked, causing Pikachu to huff exasperatedly.
You watched as Kaminari was right back watching the duo all fidgety, panicking. You rolled your eyes, before you fiddled with the poke ball in your hand, enlarging it before narrowing your eyes readily. Kaminari peeked at you, "W-What are you doing...?" You glanced towards him, a smile rising coolly.
"This guy...can help us!" You threw the ball forward without a second, light overtaking his vision as it began to take form as Kaminari's eyes widened. Everyone had watched anticipatedly, as the glow subsided and it made its appearance.
"That's-!"
True to your words, Sero was able to shoot his tape out, the tape automatically taping the cliffside, acting as a vine that the both could swing from as both Sero and Kirishima easily swung down to the ground, reaching the ground on their own two feet. They stood proudly in front of the 'injured', as Sero placed both his hand on his hip, imitating All Might with a, "We're here!"
"Took you extras long enough!" Bakugo wasted no time in shouting.
"Calm down man," Kirishima interjected, a bit apologetically as he embarrassedly gestured for the blonde to ease down. Then there was a small standstill of silence, causing an earlier relieved Momo and a cooled off Bakugo staring at their supposed saviors as if they grew two heads. Kirishima scratched his head as he questioned peculiarly. "So...what do we do know?"
"What did (last)-chan say again?" Sero questioned rubbing his chin as Bakugo was already fuming. A bunch of idiots just jumped down without a fucking plan! What the hell were they thinking? As even the reliable Momo looked skeptical.
As the two scuttle around, with Momo and Bakugo attention on the duo, Aoyama heaved a heavy sigh, still keeping his eyes shut with surprising leniency. That was when he felt the feeling of something near his legs, or more like hovering over him. His eyes twitched, perhaps they have decided to move him first. Out of curiosity, he peeked his eyes open expectantly.
There are two eyes staring right at him. Two eyes belonging to an eight-legged creature-no wait, this creature had four legs. It was something you'd expect to be as big as your palm...but it was big...
Aoyama involuntarily let out a screech, turning a terrible shade of white, before he fainted at the spot. The others whipped their heads in the direction of the scream, and eyes widened.
Standing over the unconscious Aoyama, stood a red with black stripes bug-like creature, with bright orange and purple stripes as legs. Its dark eyes swept from Aoyama's body to the other four swiftly, its pedipalp twitching.
Kirishima distressed, "Oh shoot, Aoyama fainted!" As Sero's eyes widened when he caught on, as he snaps his fingers. "That's right, wait for the Pokémon, that's what she said. And it's a-!"
"-Spider! Again?!" Right-back with you and the electric creatures, poor Kaminari was not having a good day. The spider had stared at him dead in the eyes before crawling down with a word that left the boy's spine-tingling.
"That's Ariados. The long leg Pokémon." You mentioned briefly, snapping your fingers as you lectured, "Their feet are tipped with tiny claws, making it easier for them to scuttle on ceilings and vertical walls!"
"I don't mean to insult (last)-chan, but do you have a sort of liking towards spiders?" Kaminari questioned, picking his cheeks unsurely.
"I mean, they are pretty cool." You shrugged with a smile, turning towards the mouse to quietly ask for the other poke ball.
You threw the next Pokémon as Kaminari flinched. Is it another spider? Just how many spiders do you keep with you? Another Pokémon began to take shape as you watch the Pokémon's orange eyes blinking at you, as it puffed out in fluff, floating around with a small cry, fluttering its leaf-like arms. Kaminari eyes widened at the fluffed creature that deeply resembled a cloud flying around.
You chuckled as it tackled you in a friendly hug, cooing chirpily before it hovered over a speechless Kaminari. The boy was baffled as the Cottonee circled around him, probably out of curiosity at being so close to another human other than you. "Kaminari-kun, meet Cottonee. Cottonee, Kaminari-kun." You gestured to each other, as they eyed each other, Cottonee's eyes blinking curiously, as it crooned.
"Cottonee." You called out, as it whisked closer to you curiously, humming in question, "We could use a bit of your cotton over there if you don't mind."
The Cottonee glanced at where you were pointing out, peering down peculiarly, before saluting at you. The Pokémon of fluff literally went down as if a draft had pushed him down, the creature reaching the group of students in no time as Bakugo's lips begin to twitch once more.
"What the heck?!" The power of his voice sent Cottonee floating back up a bit, before it blinked dazedly, rushing back down originally. The cotton simply swayed around the students, muddled at their appearance for a second, as Momo's eyes followed the movement of the wooly cloud in bewilderment.
Cottonee, after feeling like it sight-see enough, glancing up at you. You peered down, crouched near the cliff as you shouted, "Cottonee, cotton over there!" You pointed to a specific spot. The Pokémon followed your request and began huffing a bit. Everyone stared oddly when it began shooting soft layers of cotton at a single spot. Ariados had left Aoyama's fainted body for a while, and did its own work, spinning strings with the cotton, pushing them together. Sero was quick to understand, as the spider stared at him expectantly.
"Oh!" He shoots out its tape helpfully, as Kirishima finally got the gist of it, rushing over, getting pumped. "They are making the bedding!" It was in no time at all, with the teamwork of Sero and the Pokémon, they were able to make the bedding to carry the group up.
Kirishima quickly help set down Aoyama down on to the bedding, and now, Aoyama really did look like Snow White. It probably felt even better than the coffin Snow white slept in, the soft cotton giving off maximum comfort. Kirishima looked a tinge worried. "I think Aoyama really had fainted..."
"Alright, now how are we going to get up now?" Sero questioned. It would've been no trouble if it was him alone, but now since he has to safely bring someone up, he wasn't too sure if he could support them himself.
In a surprise, a thin stand of strings wrapped on one base of the 'bed', causing Sero to stare up at the bug-like creature, now walking vertically of the wall. Ariados hissed, before locking eyes at Sero. Sero's eyes widen as he smirked. If it was with someone else...then this would be a piece of cake!
Things were looking much brighter for the group, and you watched with a smile as the first one was brought up without a hassle. Kaminari helped out Sero and pulled out Aoyama from the makeshift bed, who finally woke up from his fainting spell completely refreshed.
As Sero went pick up the next guy, you watched, still crouched down near the cliffside. Kaminari was awed, a smile rising as he caught wind of the great rescue. This was going super well! The electric guy was crouched down next to you, as he tilted his head a bit to stare at your happy grin. You looked pretty...
"I'm sorry for doubting you, things are looking pretty fly now!" Kaminari averted your attention to himself. You blinked cutely at him as Kaminari proudly held a thumbs up, smiling easily. Earlier, the boy was having second thoughts on your idea, but after witnessing the process, you caught him by surprise. Your expression made Kaminari blush, as he turned to stutter with a wide grin. "A-Ah, I mean to say that-you really led the group after we argued and couldn't make up our minds. It was super cool, I can totally tell from what I saw today and it's obvious, you'd make a great leader!"
You paused, feeling the wave of shyness at his compliment. You stuttered a small thank you, looking away that quickly sent a flying cupid's arrow shot to your classmate.
That lovely moment was short-lived however as Pikachu's gaze burned the back of his head. Kaminari flinched as he hesitantly peeked over his shoulder to see the mouse unimpressed stare. The stare practically reeks of, 'You didn't even help out that much this exercise, you idiot...'
"Faster you extras!" An impatient yell made both you and Kaminari perked up, your eyes automatically peeking down. Bakugo was angrily scuffling down at Sero, who scowled annoyedly on top of the bedding, Kirishima petting the Ariados grimaced while Yaoyorozu stared wearily.
"Seriously dude, Calm down!"
"Yeah, right I would!"
"Bakugo-san! This isn't the time to be complaining!"
You and Kaminari shared simultaneous sweat-drops, hearing the tussling getting louder. "That Bakugo really needs to chill..." Kaminari complained as you nodded embarrassedly at the angry-male.
"Good Job (last)-san!" The waving traffic cop Iida was ecstatic, praising you as if you had done god's extreme bidding. Midoriya, still on the shyer side in cheering, was amazed. Although everyone knew the Pokémon's power was ruthless, from the USJ event, and he knew how well you worked together with them. It was never really shown to the others how well you can take care of a situation when it comes forth completely.
Not to mention, the Pokémon, Midoriya whole body vibrated in excitement. What were there powers, what kind of unique abilities do they have compared to others, are they dangerous, nocturnal, likes the cold weather? He mumbled to himself loudly as Uraraka was almost amused at the green-haired boy's excitement.
He watched you chat with Kaminari on the side, feeling slightly mellowed down after watching you grin widely, feeling rather accomplished on this first exercise of yours, as he kept his gaze on you. Hmm...what is the true extent that you can bring out from the Pokémon...and yourself? Midoriya wondered thoughtfully.
And...that finishes your first successful exercise.
~o~o~
"Hmm...still nothing." You blandly commented, your own reflection showcasing your disappointment. With puckered lips, and worn-out eyes skimming the water, your gaze went back to the vast Artificial Lake where that single ship bobbed in the middle of it all.
After watching the rest completed said exercise, Thirteen promptly moved everyone to the collapse zone, a wreckage of demolished buildings in a supposed 'city', and began the next exercise. Currently, everyone besides Midoriya, Uraraka, Bakugo, and Mineta had to pretend or act as injured citizens around the collapse zone as the four have to find them in this wreckage. It sounded pretty similar to a game of hide and seek honestly, but you weren't complaining.
Your gazed steeled at the pool of water, hoping for that small sign you had encountered to come out again. Although you were supposed to be hiding within the collapse zone, you had mindlessly wandered to the flood zone, and now was busy trying to scour for the mystery creature, when you were supposed to head back and begin hiding.
You were pretty thankful the last exercise went into a pretty good success. With the quirks of your teammates, it was as easy as pie to rescue the students in the pit. After that, you had sent each Pokemon to their ball, including Pikachu, to hopefully rest up.
You heaved a sigh, releasing the nerves wracking your body before your thoughts went back on the supposed missing teacher, who still hadn't made an appearance.
You rolled your eyes. Did All Might seriously accidentally used up his time limit once again? It seems like something he would do, but he really should be paying more attention to himself or not his injury will worsen.
As the calm serene water greeted you, you have come to an agreement that you weren't going to meet the unidentified pokemon anytime soon today. With a tinge of disappointment, you got up to dust yourself off, and just serenely enjoyed the small sense of silence you had been gifted for a second.
"(last)-san, what are you doing here?"
You jumped, whipping around to be greeted by the disapproving gaze of Yaoyorozu Momo, who was watching you sternly as your tranquil composure broke into bashfulness at being caught running away from class. You laughed awkwardly, averting your eyes as you spoke quickly. "N-Nothing. Just wanted some fresh air Momo-chan."
You gazed away, not wanting to be the victim of her stern eyes when her body posture admittedly got shyer suddenly. She blinked almost in surprise as if she had gotten struck in the face until she tried to cough it away. "W-Well alright. But this isn't quite the time to be getting out of class (last)-san-!"
You quickly apologized, walking off with a single glance back at the water until you stood right in front of the vice-rep. Yaoyorozu had averted her gaze quickly, giving a small harrumphed, making you quizzically gaze at her back. "We should head back, let's go."
"Mm...Okay, Yaoyorozu-san." You nonchalantly replied, relaxing a bit, as you walked right next to her as she flinched in surprise again. You pressed your lips together, did you make her upset? You weren't lying when you admitted to Sero you thought of her as reliable. She strangely held herself strongly and after watching her from her entrance exams, you voted for her as the class president because she seemed to be the one that could lead the class.
Not that you have any complaints on Iida, you just didn't see his potential yet at the time.
...Though you met Yaoyorozu a bit earlier than the rest, you sadly weren't particularly close to her as you only had small conversations with each other. You truly hoped you would become good friends with her soon.
In the slightly tense walk back to the Collapse zone, you asked awkwardly. "H-How did you know I left the zone?" You peeked over to get her attention.
Yaoyorozu didn't quite reply yet for a while, making this another tense pause which you sweat-dropped at until she replied. "I saw you wandering around from my hiding spot. You walked out of the hiding zone, so I followed you." She said as you nodded. Well that made sense. You were expecting another round of awkwardness to surround you both until she spoke up, "And you know..."
You perked, as she stated shyly, almost excitably. "You can just call me as you earlier did..."
'Huh?' You gaze peculiarly at her as she sparkled excitedly. She looked rather eager too, stumbling from shyness to anticipation. Did you call her by something else? You wracked your brain for an answer before she stared at you eagerly.
"Ah..." You averted your eyes. What did you say? Did your mouth sprout out random things without reason? Well...if she was talking about a nickname...then, "Momo-chan?"
Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, as you blinked in surprise, a bit embarrassed. "Like that?" as she nodded vigorously, looking very excited as you asked worriedly. "I can call you that?"
"Of course. We're friends aren't we?" She questioned, calming down a bit, as she pointed it out as if it was obvious, causing you to blink again in surprise. While you nodded back to her response silently, she gazed back to the front, in a much better mood, a smile creeping out once in a while as she tried to hide it. You snickered, Momo-chan unexpectedly has a cute side huh?
"You can...call me anything you'd like too." You nervously badgered, as she glanced at you.
"If it's okay with you...then (name)-san?"
"Anything you're comfortable with."
There was another silence in your comfortable walk. "-Sharing nicknames are a bit thrilling, isn't it (name)-san..." She nervously sprouted.
"Hmm? I guess so. I'm sure the others already have nicknames for you, right?"
"We haven't gotten that close yet! But I'm glad it's you who called me something like that first. I-," She stopped, picking her words nervously. There was a bit of hesitancy from her nervous action. "-wanted to be closer with you from the first time we met."
Your eyes widened. She also wanted to be closer? "M-Me too! I'd like for us to be much better friends too." You enthusiastically replied, suddenly feeling embarrassed by your excited declaration. She smiled brightly at you, and you find yourself smiling back shyer, causing you to laugh off all the awkwardness.
She opened her mouth to state something when an explosion rumbled the ground. The shake surprising you, but it didn't quite felt like an earthquake. It was more like an explosion as the both of you gazed at the Collapse zone where the noise came from, as you sent each other surprised gazes. With no words exchanged once more, you rushed to the scene.
It was a surprise. But in the middle of the training-hide and go seek exercise, a villain had popped out of nowhere, with a hand holding a knocked-out Todoroki. You were muddled as you reached the wide crater the villain had created, with all of your other classmates already gaping at the turn of events.
You nervously watched as the memories from before resurfacing, as the large man mocked and taunted the students. Your gaze flitted around, trying to calm down before outwardly panicking. But as you calmed down, you began doubting.
It was... a suspicious turn of event, to be honest. For a villain to hide here this long to come out was almost laughable. You've been here before with Class B and nothing suspicious happened. And-be it just you, aren't the teachers taking this a bit too lightly, even if they were injured...Is this actually a test?
You didn't have much time to think when Bakugo, who was already in a battle with the said large villain, whose voice strangely resembled a hero you know, shouted at Iida, "Hey, don't worry about the others! Don't just stand there, make those weaklings go away!" Which Iida didn't take lightly to the insult.
"Why must you insult everyone?!" Iida was getting riled up. Why did the attack had to happen today of all days? You were just getting around with the class too...
You weren't too keen at the insult Bakugo had pulled as well, but you didn't have a chance to retort when Kirishima popped up from the left, "Hey Bakugo!" You glanced in surprise, "Who do you mean 'those weaklings'?"
Momo stared readily, "We are the 21 students of Class A." It just occurred to you that everyone was already getting into a battle stance.
"We will all be heroes!" Uraraka stated firmly, anxiously keeping a tough outlook, as the villain seemed impressed...and kind of proud?
You glanced around at your already psyched up classmates, that might've intimidated the same lone villain, as you hesitantly plucked out a poke ball. Putting away your suspicion, for now, you focus your objective on Todoroki. You need to get him out of the situation as quick as you could. You narrowed your eyes, that should be simple in a rescue training.
As the villain readied himself, everyone attacked all at once. You were witnessing as everyone in class 1-A threw out their attacks to try to slow down the powerful villain, who still held his ground till the end. Even with all of the attack inflicted on him, the villain was able to save himself, and keep his hold on to Todoroki until the very end.
But surely, 19 heroic students in the hero class would still be quite burdensome for one sole villain right?
Bakugo attacked without mercy as everyone was left to watch. Midoriya wracked his brain out for ideas. Surely there must be an easier way to capture the villain and get Todoroki to safety. He did have an idea, but how effective it is will depend.
That was when something from the corner of his eyes shifted almost too quickly, and right when Bakugo was distracting the villain, Todoroki was pulled away from his grasp and into your arms.
"Got him!" You cried as Midoriya's eyes widen, as the villain and Bakugo looked momentarily caught off guard. You held the unconscious Todoroki carefully, making sure to keep yourself steady on to Altaria who flew up before the villain could interfere once more. The soft cushion of the charming Altaria should comfort Todoroki as the blue-woolly bird rode higher into the air.
Your eyes locked on to Midoriya, and you gave a firm nod, holding on to Todoroki's body tightly. Midoriya's eyes shook in awe before he called out to the intended classmates he had planned. After watching, he knew he had to pull through with his idea. Since that Todoroki was safely away, there wouldn't be anymore risks.
You watched amusedly from above, as Midoriya was whipped around with Tsuyu's help and Uraraka's float, holding one of Mineta's balls, as he attached it to the villain. With a final strike, he flicked his finger at the villain, emitting a large gust of winds that Altaria had even fallen victim too.
Yet even with all that power, the villain still held his ground.
So in a final strike, Bakugo using his explosion attacked the winded villain, pushing the villain into the air, where you flew at. Realizing what's to come, your eyes met the harsh one of Bakugo's, causing you to giggle. Well alright, a little game of soccer won't hurt.
"Altaria! Sky Attack!" With a cry, Altaria was suddenly flying much quicker, appearing as if it was cloaked in sunlight, blinding the villain, who looked ready to battle you head-on in the sky, before Altaria swooped down and attack him down to a specific spot laid out just for the villain.
You flinched as the villain was stuck on to the pillar attached with Mineta sticky balls, noticing earlier that it was from Midoriya's plan, as the class won.
The class cheered erratically, and you watched proudly as you told the bird to fly back to the ground, as you hopped off without a word, letting Todoroki rest on top of Altaria.
You turned the boy who laid on his front with a bit of trouble, checking him up worriedly.
Bakugo was ready to send a final blast towards the villain, who was sweating in nerves after finding out he was stuck and finally at the end of the ring, as the loser. You hadn't even paid attention to what's going on behind you, as your eyes narrowed at Todoroki, brushing the hair that was blocking his face to check if he had any head injuries.
But he was...
Todoroki's eyes peeked open, meeting your surprise one, as you whipped to stare back as the villain's mask was pulled off revealing-
"All Might!?" Everyone bellowed.
At the end of it all, this was just a harmless surprise by All Might, who wanted to bring out the best in everyone. After learning this, everyone wasn't quite as thrilled to hear they were being pranked along, as the hero meekly apologized under the angered teens.
"T-Then," you whipped back at Todoroki, who was in the midst of getting up. "You're...okay?" The cold hero in training simply locked eyes with yours to nod nonchalantly, as you heaved out a breath, feeling thankful that the recommended student wasn't in serious trouble.
Todoroki's eyes watched as you visibly simmered down, eyes staring at him gratified. His eyes narrowed.
"Todoroki-kun!" Midoriya turned around in time to see the half-cold, half-hot student appearing just alright. Bakugo, who was seething, whipped out in a flurry, pointing out detestably, "You were in on the surprise?!"
"Sorry." Though Todoroki didn't quite look apologetic, he looked like he had a lot in mind.
"Don't be so mad Bakugo-san..." You tried to pacify Bakugo's rage, but that only served to make him seethe more.
"Don't tell me what to do fussbudget!" He called out to you, about to barrate Todoroki with more complains.
Knowing this, you questioned peculiarly in an attempt to get his attention away from the icey male, "By the way Bakugo-san, but what was that before? I didn't know you'd ask for help from me to get Altaria to kick All Might?" You mused curiously as Bakugo blew up.
"Don't you dare blow it up to proportion! That bird was just conveniently there!" He shouted, before shoving away from the scene, finally deciding that bothering Todoroki won't do much.
You shook your head and tutted. What a tsundere.
"You're cruel, All Might!" Ashido complained as All Might apologize tearfully.
"I'm sorry! it wasn't serious..."
"Midoriya-kun harmed his finger, don't you think that's a bad image to the school! Not to mention (last)-san was quite nervous for her first hero class!" Iida reprimanded, vigorously fixing his glasses as Uraraka puffed her cheeks out angrily. "Don't do that again, All Might!"
They both turned around towards the both of you, "Right, Deku-kun, (Name)-chan?"
As Midoriya flopped down, causing the three of you to send worried stares. Midoriya heaved a sigh, still smiling, "Well, I'm glad it was just a surprise."
The relief in the duo stares was apparent, as you started to chuckle, petting Altaria who had come around to grab your attention. Midoriya's gaze went to you apologetically, "I'm sorry (last)-san, this must've been a surprise."
"That's right (name)-chan!" Uraraka agreed with Midoriya, as Iida apologized. "It appears this first time isn't quite a pleasant memory; I have failed..." They looked so disappointed as they said so, as Altaria who laid his head on your own crooned curiously.
You sent them a strange look, finding it odd on how they felt apologetic over this. You pressed your lips, faking a thoughtful look, which made them even more disappointed before you stated bluntly.
"...It was an interesting first hero class; I wouldn't have it any other way."
Their surprise faces made you laugh, as they heaved a relaxed sigh.
"Young Midoriya...Young (last)..." All might was moved to tears when Uraraka and Iida whipped around angrily, not quite done berating the hero yet.
What a wreck this day was, you thought yourself. You sat down beside Midoriya, who looked mildly surprised, as you checked his finger a bit worriedly. You hummed, sending the male a sideways glance which made him coil nervously, causing you to laugh. You began wrapping the injury with a bandage you brought, somehow knowing this would happen as you did so carefully.
"We seriously need to find a way to stop ruining your fingers." Midoriya blushed brightly once again, nodding hesitantly. Even as the day took a strange turn, Midoriya was glad to see you still smiling brightly at the end. He just hoped you found the smallest of enjoyment in this strange hero class.
His gaze then went to the bird standing near you. You honestly surprised him a lot today but seeing the creature-one thought crossed his mind. "Hey (last)-san..." You listened in as he questioned. "Um-that bird?"
"Altaria?"
"Uh yeah...well, if you brought Altaria, why didn't you just asked it to fly the injured back up?" He referred to the exercise you had completed. You stared at him for a long time, as he got a bit nerved by it.
"Well...It would be way too easy wouldn't it?" You questioned back, chuckling at his dumbfounded face.
As you were done wrapping the bandage, Altaria poked his head between you two, peering at a surprise red-face Midoriya. Altaria cocked its head to the side and then it swooped down to peck Midoriya's head. "Ow!" You gaped.
"Wha-Altaria, Midoriya hair isn't a bush!"
As you tried to stop the overgrown bird from pecking Midoriya's hair out, Midoriya flinching, and Bakugo laughing his ass off in the background. Todoroki simply watched the ordeal, as Uraraka even came up to help.
Todoroki's lingering stare laid on both you and Midoriya's skin for a while, before he walked off with new resolution.
And that was finally the end of your first Hero class, and with more to come.

[The Day of the Sports Festival]
In the 1-A waiting room, everyone was garbed in the U.A Sports jumpsuit, sitting, standing, waiting for the doors of the Sports Festival to open up. The atmosphere was filled with anxiousness to excited students, all chatting themselves in the space provided for them.
Mina had complaint about not being allowed to wear her uniform, as Ojiro tried to tell her it would be unfair for the others. Sato was having the jitters, nervously wondering what was the first preliminary rounds while both Mezo Shoji and Tokayami Fumikage assured him to do their very best once it comes around.
Mineta was busily writing the kanji, 'nerves', on his hand, while eating it to control his nervousness and Midoriya was trying to steady his breathing, to you know, calm his heart down. It's finally here. The Sports Festival. Midoriya was still trying to calm his nerves down when he caught sight of-
"Eh." Midoriya baffled stare at your form made you glance at him from your seat.
Your dull eyes and pale face said it all, and you honestly looked more nervous than he did. You munched on the onigiri hanging on your mouth slowly, while the other hand was occupied with petting a curled up, Meowth, taking full advantage of your nervous state to relax on your lap.
Pulling away from the onigiri as slow as a tortoise, you grinned at him dryly. "Good Morning Midoriya...Good Luck today yeah?" You drawled out as if you were drunk.
"(Last)-san, I don't think you look so good..." Midoriya pointed out nervously, as Uraraka sitting close by was staring worriedly.
"(Name)-chan, I'm going to get some water for you okay? Okay!" Uraraka was already rushing to the water dispenser as you just nodded at Uraraka, wishing her good luck. Good luck with the competition or to getting the water, Midoriya wasn't too sure.
"I'm totally okay...super!" You held up a thumb as you took another slow bite from the onigiri in hand, strangely finding it difficult to stomach everything as you stared at it deadly. You hadn't eaten anything else ever since you woke up, yet for some reason, you're having a hard time stomaching it. "It's just TV...everyone loves TV...right Midoriya-kun?"
Midoriya visibly flinched, getting reminded of the festival being played out on TV. Damn, nerves were contagious, as Midoriya was getting sick too, not finding the right words to cheer you up as that dry gaze landed to a corner. It might be a bad thing to put you and Midoriya together in these situations.
Uraraka went over and beyond and handed you the glass of water which you took gratefully. You took small sips at first, before full on chugging them down. Uraraka was by your side the whole time, smiling super widely. "Don't worry (Name)-chan, try not to notice the crowd yeah?"
Slowly color begins rising back to your face, and both Uraraka and Midoriya heaved a heavy sigh together. You smiled at the both of them, "Thanks...Honestly I'm still nervous, ever since I sat down in this chair the sports festival is all I can think of..."
"J-Just do what you can do (last)-san." Midoriya encouraged with both of his hands clenched, as you nodded placidly in reply. Meowth, after you had stopped petting it like you were the evil boss in a kid's movie, stretched his arms out and rolled his eyes at Midoriya's comment.
"J-Just do what you can do (last)-san!" Meowth imitated in the same tone and same expression, before he changed back, waving the encouragement off with a paw, "Can't you say anything better, you runt?"
Although Pikachu had gained to trust some of your friends, Meowth on the underhand was quite harsh on some of them. Well, the cat isn't exactly friendly from the start, but you didn't expect to find out he had already found people to poke fun of.
Midoriya stared at him nervously, as you gave an apologetic stare. "Stop it Meowth." You said, as the cat harrumphs, while you told Midoriya, taking a much bigger bite from your breakfast. "Don't worry Midoriya-kun, he's been like this since the morning."
"I-I'll try my best next time!" Midoriya didn't quite like to be quitter, trying to gain many positive points from the cat as Meowth just sighed, flopping on your lap at Midoriya's bright aura detestably. You just chuckled at Meowth's lose in a verbal battle with Midoriya, when Iida slammed opened the door.
"Everyone, are you ready? It's almost time to go!"
With those words, another wave of nerves wracked Midoriya as you continually chewed on the onigiri. Iida came in to wait with the rest of the class until he saw you carelessly munching away without a care. "(last)-san, you cannot eat right now! We are about to start!"
You chewed relentlessly, speaking muffled up because you didn't have the mentality to particularly care about table manner today. "Sorry Iida-kun...this is my breakfast; I'll finish it quick alright."
Iida looked as if a ghost was haunting him. "Your breakfast?! That is definitely not enough, especially with our activities today! And you shouldn't talk with your mouth full!"
As Iida was ranting on the proper meal you should've eaten, you were starting to wonder what exactly was in this onigiri because honestly you were beginning to feel great. You could do this; the sports festival is going to be a piece of cake. For sure. Why should you be worrying anyway? You inwardly laughed, you could do this.
"Midoriya."
The whole easygoing atmosphere had shifted almost like lightning, and everyone's gazes were focused on Todoroki, who had walked up towards Midoriya almost intimidatingly. You swallowed silently, as even Iida's rant had died down. "Todoroki-kun, what is it?" Midoriya asked.
Todoroki paused, staring down at him. "...Looking at it objectively, I think I'm more capable than you."
Your eyes widen in surprise at this turn of event, not expecting a declaration of war in the middle of Class 1-A's waiting room. You watched as Midoriya hesitantly agreed to that outwardly honest statement, and Todoroki continued.
"But you're being favored by All Might." Did he...have suspicions like you did before? "I won't inquire about it, but I will beat you."
There was another tense silence that followed, with the only word coming out was from Kaminari, whose interest getting pique at the development. "Ooh...the best in class is declaring war?"
Kirishima worriedly got up to hopefully dissolve the issue. "Hey, why are you starting a fight all of a sudden? Stop it." Kirishima landed a hand on Todoroki's shoulders, in hopes to coax him, but that only serves to get Todoroki slapping it away lightly.
"We're not here to play friends, does it even matter?" Todoroki had bluntly put as he walked away, putting a stop on the conversation. But before he walked off to brood somewhere nearby, He stopped, tilting his body just a bit to acknowledge you as he states. "Also...I don't get what you're working at here."
Your brows raised, surprised to find out he was definitely talking to you, his harsh tone causing you to inwardly coil up. The others in the class grew more uncomfortable, as Meowth, who wasn't the type to let things slip like that, opened his mouth. "Hey! Watch-," You clamped his mouth, not pulling your gaze away from Todoroki's mitch-matched eyes. "Not now Meowth..."
"You're rather close to the teachers as well (last)." You stared at him, the tinge of confusion crossing your face. You and Todoroki had barely talked, and yet here you were, underneath his harsh gaze as watched him mildly. "That would make the most sense on how you entered the hero class so easily."
Your eyes twitched. What was Todoroki instigating here? Meowth was gaping and was ready to fight back but you held him down.
"I'll just say it here; I don't trust you." His words hit a cord, and even the rest looked surprise.
"Now you're just insulting Todoroki." Kaminari's interest in this development quickly morphed to disapproval, following Kirishima's example to stand up. An expression you never thought you'd see on him.
"Hey seriously, just stop it." Kirishima was getting agitated, the cresses in his forehead wrinkling. You stared at the boy, blankly, as he had nothing else to say, turning away without a word or another comment as your gaze followed him narrowly.
You felt a bit insulted. Biting the inside of your cheeks unconsciously causing the cat to look worriedly at you, another thing you don't see often.
"I don't understand your declaration to beat me...or what's going on. But yes, you're above me, as far as ability, you're far above most people looking at it objectively." Midoriya had inputted before Todoroki could walk away just like that, meeting your gaze before staring at Todoroki, the action causing you to watch him carefully. Kirishima tried to assure Midoriya to not be so negative, but the greenette continued. "But everyone...including the one in the other courses, are aiming for the top."
Your thoughts automatically landed on Shinso, who the last time you saw him looked excited. You smiled, Midoriya never ceases to surprise everyone, doesn't he?
"I can't fall behind. I'm going to aim for it." Midoriya declared back at this war, and you were caught impressed at the boldness he emitted.
You laid back on your chair, watching this with a new feeling as this goes all out. With the smallest smile, you began a low slow clap, that not only garnered their attention but everyone's attention. You offered everyone your cheeriest grin.
"Nice Midoriya-kun...that sets the mood right." Midoriya awkwardly nodded at your words as you turned to stare at Todoroki, leaning a bit forward. "Honestly Todoroki, I don't quite get what your problem is with me, but I honestly don't care because I'm not working at anything here. You're just being a bit paranoid don't you think? "
You grinned with a shrug, amusement running down your veins. You sat almost too politely now, your posture straight, your face showing the polite grin you had, as you placed your hands on your laps, gazing at him straight on, kindly and curiously.
"Hmm, The sports festival...is quite important for you, right?"
There was a sudden tenseness that you delved deeper into, as Todoroki's eyes grew colder. The whole place felt stuffy now, and you could only huff out a breath in a small laugh moderately. "Just so you know," You tilted you head to the side, "The festival is important to me too, so...I hope you don't take this personally, because..."
You politely grinned, clapping your hand together. Leaning forward to make sure that he understands and listens well as you taunted, your shut eyes opening in a newfound decision that made the heterochromia eyed male intake a sharp breath.
"I'm not going to go easy on you. You understand, Todoroki-san?"

Finally. The Sports Festival. We're here, ladies and gentlemen. WE'RE HERE! Oh how long this took for me. I hope you at least enjoyed this fun little chapter, that actually takes place on the very first ova. It's been a ride, but I'm pretty glad about how this turned out.
First, I'd like the address that yes, that is our hero costume! This was made by imbabye And I honestly just can't thank her enough for it. I love it a lot and was really glad I finally got to show you this costume in this chapter. It was actually supposed to show up later, but I wanted to give you a look as early as it could. Although I didn't really focus explaining on the outfit that much, you'll learn more about it in the future!
Moving on. This chapter. Was kind of the death of me. I honestly had to use all of my creative juice pouring out into this to figure out how to complete the first exercise with the Pokemon and the reader's teammates! I honestly felt bad for leaving Kaminari with almost no job for the story, cause I couldn't wrap around my head how he could've helped in this situation. I also feel bad for teasing Kaminari in this story so sorry.
Reader snapped. She snapped. And for your information, the reader isn't drunk on onigiri...or is she? Honestly the reader is just high on nerves, and it just a matter of time, until she pukes. So...we'll let her have her moment y'know. But Todoroki...the second he entered the fray he's already unintentionally calling reader a slut and that was my bad lmao. he didn't mean it to sound like that! Though I can picture him insulting someone by calling them something along the lines...I feel like he would do this?? I mean, the boys clueless, he honestly meant that you got connection to get through (Like he doesn't get connections *rolls eyes*), but then it sounded something entirely wrong and he's gonna be like ??? What did I do wrong? I'm actually laughing cause the only interactions, Other than capturing during USJ because he a gentleman, was that he stared. A lot. Honestly I was getting nerved at this cause if someone stared as much as Todoroki did, I'd be freaking out.
But-the Boku no Hero season 4 is finally right here! I'm excited and hope you'll have a fun time watching. Season 4 is actually one of my favorites in the manga. OH! And have you guys seen the new trailer for Boku no Hero: Heroes Rising. A girl screamed when she saw Hawks on the poster...and that girl was me.
Anyways, let's just enjoy as we enter the Sports Festival for now! We have a wild festival to enjoy, so till the next chapter!
