❦ Seven
Quirks is the mystery of the world.
It all started when a baby was born in Qingqing city, China. The baby shone in a bright light like a sun, and the news spread like wildfire. After that, many superpowers appeared, and the population with special trait grew rapidly to the point superpowers has become a norm.
Today, there are about 80% of the population of the earth with superpowers, and the rest were the ones of the past times. The quirkless as some called them.
As the special traits began to increase, the more crime had change for the worst. That reinforces the idea of heroes. Heroes that are willingly using their quirks for the better, and keeping the citizens safe.
But there's more to a story of a world filled with superpower.
Before quirks began appearing, the idea of powers weren't much of a laugh as most presume. It was more of myths and legends truly. There was once a story of man walking back home during a thunderstorm, and he caught sight of a large yellow bird flying. It was the most unusual bird he had seen, and it flapped its overbearing wings and produced electricity.
There were many other stories regarding in unforeseen creatures with powers unlike they have seen. But some would laugh, some would wave it off, and some would wonder more about them. of course it was rather interesting to hear such tales coming out once in awhile, but it was definitely a hard candy to chew on for most.
The 'Monsters', as they were called, were believed to be mythical creatures at some point of time. An unusual sort of Yokai that many could not deceiver. Only few had come across them, and it would either be a rare blessing or a curse to the end.
These creatures were the beginning of power, and some say have lived for a very long time. They lived peacefully in this world we live in, and they lived in harmony away from human society.
But when the rare appearance of quirks began appearing, the monsters disappeared too. The creatures never appeared again, and now they were myths people have forgotten.
Yet for a certain old man it was more of a myth.
He embarked in a journey to learn more of them, and wrote everything he knew about them. During his younger times, they were quite the number of them loitering around in their own nests. But as he grew older, he found something that was truly upsetting.
Extinction.
A sudden decrease in population had plummeted, and they were only so few, that they were so difficult to find. He had come to a term before he passed.
That it's something that couldn't be avoided.
Until..
"I need to ask you about your quirk."
You blinked, surprised a bit by the sudden question. "Oh, uh..sure. What's your question Aizawa-sensei?" You sat patiently in front of the rugged teacher, playing with your fingers.
The teacher folded his hands on the table, before asking the basics. "What exactly is your quirk?"
You pressed your lip together, remembering the name at the tip of your tongue. The teacher focused carefully at your nervous form. He noted your uneasy (eye color) eyes eyeing the rigid table.
"It's called the monster enticement."
He perked a bit at the answer, your voice firm without much of hesitation like he was expecting. You twisted your shoulders lightly sighing.
"As the Quirk Doctor explained." You hummed in thought as the teacher listened carefully. "There was once a person who had a very similar quirk as me, who happened to be my great, great grandfather. No one from my family had a quirk like him, before me of course."
"Enticement? Like a lure?" Aizawa-sensei interestedly, which you nodded. You gestured to hands pulling on your uniform's sleeve.
"Yes, a sort of smell that only strange creatures can smell, luring them to my area or more specifically, me." You explained, hearing the small padding of your Pokemon smelling the scent. You quickly let go the sleeves, noticing Pikachu had peeked around the corner curiously, his two pointed ear poking out as it squeaked a bit.
"Does it only work on these creatures?" He gestured to the creature hiding behind the corner, who hid more, probably still trying to stay far away from Aizawa-sensei.
"Well mostly, but in rare occasion it can attract other odd creatures, ones that don't make sense. But that's what my mother told me, I've never experience another creature getting lured near me." You answered, remembering your childhood days when you first learnt your quirk.
"I had a hard time with it a long time, because I couldn't control it. Nowadays I can subdue my quirk a bit better when I want too."
Aizawa listened carefully, scratching his stubble tiredly. "Is it difficult to do so?"
"Yes." You nodded, watching carefully the few pokemon that were playing around nearby. "It's especially harder in areas without much people. That's why in the city it's simpler to subdue."
You gestured carefully, feeling quite proud of yourself, as Aziawa nodded. "So you're sure it's safe?"
You blinked. "Well, I'm quite certain."
Aizawa gave a small nod, and finally seemed to let-loose once more. He sat comfortably after getting all of his answers. You tilted your head curiously.
"Is that it?"
"Yeap." The teacher grunted lazily, as you sighed in relief. For some reason it almost felt constricting to talk about your quirk so casually. Just like some scary interview.
"Is something burning?" The pro-hero sniffed slightly, looking around carefully.
Standing still, you had to restart the teachers statement before you ran back to the kitchen worriedly. A curse leaving your lips, as you rush towards the bubbling pot. Hopefully it won't be too burnt, as you turned off the stove quickly. Twirling the spoon around inside the soup, taking small sips, you gave a small sigh.
Luckily it isn't completely burnt over, So it was edible enough.
Though the look your new homeroom teacher was giving you wasn't so happy. Was he ever happy you wondered silently as an embarrassed laugh coughed out. He scratched his scalp tiredly.
"Just pour it over, it looks decent enough." He walked out to take a seat in the chairs, but before he went out the kitchen, he turned his head to inform you something.
"Tomorrow. I need you to take some notes on the next door class. Be ready."
~•~•~
You trailed after the pro-hero silently, his bulky form striding to his classroom. You don't know why, but you were sure you dealt with your first day jitters already just yesterday, and here you were. Following another teacher to his class the very next day.
Vlad King, the blood hero, was leading you towards class-1B.
With a bit of introduction from Eraserhead, you could come to an agreement that Vlad King was much different from the usual tiredness of Aizawa-sensei. Sure they both can scare their classes, but Eraserhead lazed grins and blunt answers were much different than the other teacher's firm glares. Other than that, they bantered about cats and dogs just before, so yes they were definitely an odd pair.
With a bit of notice early, you heard class B hadn't had their quirk assessment test like class A had. Not that you were really surprise, since there was the opening ceremony the class missed, due to Eraserhead's 'freestyle' teaching. Either way, principal Nezu wants you to check out both class A and B, so now you were standing to the class next to A, the door still shut firmly.
With a quick bang, the pro-hero slid the door open, the students loitering around the class were quick to find their seats at the sight of their homeroom teacher.
"Alright Class, change into your gym clothes and head to the grounds!" The hero bellowed loudly, before once again shutting the door. You cringed a bit at the sudden yell, they were definitely different.
Walking away once again, obviously to the grounds, you trailed after his form once again. Holding your notebook tightly to your chest, your pen hanging on your right ear.
'Only for today.' Aizawa-sensei's voice echoed like a mantra, which you sighed at.
But before you and the teacher headed to the grounds, you both made a quick stop towards the teacher's room, the pro-hero picking out some files before handing half of them towards you and carrying the rest.
"These are Class B files, just put them away once the test is finished." He told you, as you both began your walk once again towards the grounds.
Sighing tiredly, you carried the 10 files stacked in front of you. As you both reached the ground, that was still bare from the students, you placed the files eagerly on the side as Vlad King handed you the rest, before you place your notebook away as well.
You actually haven't had a peek at class B's file yet, so you can safely say that you had no idea about any of the students you were going to be watching. You did know that one student that got recommended, Honenuki Juzo, will be here however.
Soon, the ground was covered with all of class B's students, some staring at you with questionable gazes, but none bothering to chat you up, which you were quite thankful for.
Similar to yesterday, Vlad King had told the class about the upcoming test they had to go through. With a few of shock stares and complain, the teacher began to call you over.
"This is (last)(name), she's from class A from next door. She'll be helping me out for only today." The teacher explained, as everyone eyes turned towards yours.
You didn't really minded the attention, until your eyes come into contact with a familiar teal colored eyes. The same girl you saw during that one capture.
Her expression would probably similar to you, for she recognized you immediately. Her ginger hair was tied into a ponytail, and she looked very much alive, unlike the first time you had met the girl.
You turned your eyes away uncomfortably, scratching your neck as the teacher started the first test.
Class B have quite the interesting numbers of quirk in their hands as well. A guy with the ability to turn air to solid, a guy with a quirk to turn into a huge beast, another guy that's able to produce large manga icons. Frankly, a lot of quirks that you have never seen before.
Overall, everyone was doing the test diligently, without a hint of worried unlike class A. After all Vlad King didn't exactly threatened to expel anyone, so you supposed it was only natural.
'I guess Vlad King sensei's a bit softer than Aizawa-sensei.' You sweatdropped, you can never say that out loud.
'Shiozaki Ibara vein's are quite versatile.' You thought watching the girl using her hair, which were vein, on the test. Itsuka Kendo, who you learned was her name from the files, was doing fairly well on the all the tests, but her quirk fitted the grip strength test the most.
Kendo Itsuka
Quirk: Big Fist
she can make her fists bigger! And as they increase in size, their power goes up as well!
"Hey!"
Someone waved his hand in front of your face. You blinked, leaning away from it as the guy, the boy that can turn his whole body into steel, finally dropped his hand down.
"Vlad King-sensei told me to tell you we're starting the next event!" His boisterous voice shook you slightly, the guy holding sharp teeth, similar to Kirishima. What was his name again? Tetsutetsu?
"O-oh." You nodded, the other students already beginning to set up and follow their teachers order.
"What's the next event?" He asked curiously.
"The endurance running." You blandly said, the words giving you an uncomfortable taste. Let's just say it was far from a walk in a park. he gave a small 'ooh' in excitement, looking rather pumped up. You blinked, he was amazed by the endurance running?
"By the way, I'm tetsutetsu tetsutetsu!" The guy straightforwardly introduce himself, with you nodding while giving him your name.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
Quirk: Steel
His body can turn as hard as steel! It's the ultimate offense and defense!
"So your from the class next door, huh? Did you guys do the quirk test?" He asked gruffly, as you answered truthfully.
"Yes, just yesterday." And once again he awed, scratching his chin in thought.
"Ooo! So that's why class A wasn't in the opening ceremony!" He had a eureka moment for a second, nodding understandingly with a large grin.
The longer you talked with him, the more you find yourself seeing Kirishima.
"Class A went first huh?"
You blinked at the new voice, moving towards the guy who was coyly leaning against the wall not to far, his blonde hair swept neatly and poshly, as he gave you a rather egotistical smirk. He shrugged his shoulder at your stare, before asking you leaning forward.
"So, how did they do?" He still held that coy smile, which you weren't sure what to think of.
"Okay?" You were unsure how to answer, before Tetsutetsu quickly intervened with a small wave.
"Don't mind him (last)-san. He's been asking about everyone's quirk since yesterday." The steel quirked guy gave you a rough pat in the back causing you to stumble forwards slightly. The blonde didn't mind Tetsutetsu words, shrugging his shoulders lightly.
"I was just asking, that shouldn't be a problem," he looked unbothered, the boy regally turned away, as he brought up his hand in a wave. "Besides..."
He smirked pridefully. "I'm sure everyone knows I have the best quirk."
Monama Neito
Quirk: copy
After touching someone, Monama can use their quirk as much as he wants for five minutes. But he can't use more than one quirk at a time!
The guy walked away soon, with you rooted in the floor in confusion. Tetsutetsu gave a small huff, before also walking away in quick paced.
"I'm going to stretch up for the endurance running!" And He ran off.
You sighed, picking up the files you had left, moving towards the lining up students. Every time you carried these stacks, the more you felt yourself falling deeper into the ground. As you wobbled, attempting to pull yourself upright, someone took about half of the batch from you.
"You looked like you were struggling." Kendo grinned easily, as she walked next to you with some the files. You could only sigh in relief, grateful at the kind gesture from the ginger.
Albeit the rather awkward air surrounding you two, due to your first meeting, you felt grateful at the kind girl's offer to help. You watched as the others had busied themselves to prep for the next test, Tetsutetsu excitedly telling his classmates about the next event, with many others internally and externally groaning.
Kendo leaned closer towards you, aiming to talk to you hushly. "It's only been two days since school started and some have been already quite vocal." She smiled with a shrug, as you listened carefully.
"I see.." You gave the class a look-over worriedly.
"If anyone bothers you, don't mind them too much. Especially that Monama guy." She pointed towards the sly male from before, who was stretching haughtily.
"I'll keep that in mind." You answered with a nod, as Kendo laughed interestedly. She put down the files, as you followed her example before she put two of her hands on her hips, giving you an eye smile.
"Just tell me if that guy bothers you though, I'll give him a good slap in the head."
You nodded thankfully, saying your thanks for her help as well, which she brushed off. Before Kendo could walk away and get ready for the events as well, she halted to tell you.
"Oh, and about the thing, in my garden?" You stiffened, feeling uncomfortably nervous. Guess it's too much of a stretch to consider her forgetting about that little detail? She rubbed her head in thought, before she smiled unbothered.
"We can talk about it when you want too."
You blinked, as she walked away. That was way too sweet of her to do, you could almost tear up at the kind girl. Either way, you better hurry to watch the endurance running event soon.
~•~•~
You sighed, looking at the stack of files once more.
With the events finally finishing, the class went to change out of their sweaty gym clothes. As the person looking through all the files, with all the added materials you tucked in each file specifically told by Principal Nezu, you were also in charged in putting it away all the way too the teachers room.
Kendo once again offered to help, but the girl looked downright exhausted, so you couldn't bear to ask and quickly shooed her away to change. Now here you were, hoping these darn paperwork would just, fly away.
'Well, no use in complaining.'
Pulling up the stack with a grunt, you walked slowly towards the main building. It was a quiet walk, with the only sound of your shoes clicking away on the floor. The school was empty with students, the quirk assessment test much longer than before. The teachers were probably already planning to head back to the lounge very soon, so it was as empty as the plague itself.
Without you noticing, one of the pokeballs you had brought tucked in your pocket, rolled to the ground and twitched.
And a Pokemon came out, making you flinch in surprise at it's serious face.
"Lucario?" You blinked down at the wide open pokeball, with the creature's sturdy eyes following your movement. "Hmm..? Feeling rather twitchy?"
Lucario didn't answer, only watching your tipping body. You were like the titanic entering the ocean by this point.
Without a word, he took the files out of your hand quickly, and rather easily might you add. You blinked in surprise at the lost of weight, before you picked up the fallen ball, as Lucario made no move to hand you back the files. It started walking away before you can ask him questions, with you fumbling to follow it.
"You know you don't need to do that." You mused, with the Blue-furred creature not giving you a room to complain. It's ears twitched at your words, as it gave you a stern eye.
'You were emitting a distressed emotion just earlier.' It telepathically had commented. You jumped at that, not that it hadn't happened before, but it sure was a surprise like the jack-in-the-box.
There wasn't much room for you talk with this one. You could only sweatdropped at this once hyper Pokemon, before he evolved. The Pokemon had always been quite the little worded Pokemon, but was always there for you when you needed it. Even if it knew you were 'distress', it was still odd for him to come out of the ball unannounced.
Time passed by, with you finally putting away the files with Lucario helping out, yet you couldn't help but wonder. Perhaps the Pokemon was feeling rather restless, not that you hadn't been letting them out of their balls at the dorm, but you had been laying off training. There were no teachers in sight, so you assumed they went away already. This would be the perfect time to train.
After all, your Lucario tended to be quite the powerful. But he needed to train like every other Pokemon, and strangely really liked to do so.
You hummed, with the Pokemon beginning to walk back towards the dorm, you presumed. you tugged the Pokemon by his paw, making him glance questionably at you.
"How about a little training in one of the training areas?"
He tilted his head curiously, considering it for a moment. So your Pokemon was restless, finding yourself chuckling at his reaction. You pulled him towards one of the rooms Aizawa-sensei showed you, with the Pokemon following in your lead.
Although this room was suppose to be only used if teachers allowed it, you suppose a short training is in order.
He wasn't warily looking around like he normally does, so the school must really be empty at the moment. You pushed the door open, to find the huge room unoccupied. You gave the Pokemon a cheeky grin, hoping to get it riled up.
"Let's get started!"
~•~•~
You watched with a huff as Lucario did an Aura Sphere, damaging the props you had found in the training area. The Pokemon was in a roll, and it didn't seemed that his stamina has yet to diminish.
Through out the ordeal, you only ordered Lucario to do specific moves, which it did without a word. You were always impressed at the pokemon's raw power, but It truly is something it practiced hard to gain.
Speaking of training, tomorrow there was hero basic training in the afternoon. Meaning there were more notes you had to keep of the class, you thought huffily, but remembered at least you didn't have to join the classes.
Rumors flew around the school that All might, the number one hero, will be teaching that class apparently. If that was the case, than it made sense why he was snooping around last time. Even though it was really strange of him to try so hard to stay hidden.
With one last hit on the the standing prop, using metal claw, Lucario's exhaustion was hitting him. He heaved tiredly, breathing ragged. It looked like he was done for today, before he perked like a jolt towards the door.
Noticing his action, you gave a curious glance towards the door. Lucario could always tell people's auras, in fact he could tell if they were miles away. Seems to be someone getting closer towards the school, the Pokemon was that precautious.
With that, you picked up his pokeball, "lucario, back inside."
It nodded, going right back to the ball, as you hurriedly cleaned up the mess. Lucario tended to over worry at times, so it most likely was someone simply entering the school building. But you couldn't help but panic slightly, as you finally put away all the stuff.
But you also needed to sweep up the floor. You sighed, and took out a broom readily, steadily sweeping the floor clean. Busying yourself with the cleaning, You heard the door open as you unconsciously turned to stare at the person standing by the entrance.
"Oh? You were using it?" He asked curiously, the large boy with blonde hair asked. He didn't look like a first year, but he was still dressed in U.A uniform. Didn't everyone went home?
"Ah, yes. I'm just finishing up." You nodded respectively, as he grinned without a worry, waving his hand, moving it uncontrollably fast. The buff boy blonde slick hair gleamed, as he smiled shiningly.
"Don't worry! I just forgot something!" He maneuvered into the room, opening one of the hidden compartments, taking out his hand phone. You tried to not pay attention to the definitely older male, just hoping to finish the cleaning so you can go back to your room.
"Do you need some help?" The still ever-grinning senior was already holding onto another broom, and sweeping the floor kindly beside you.
"Um..there's no need too really." You were beginning to feel like you were being helped a lot today. The boy didn't bother to reply, still sweeping up the floor diligently. "Uh, thanks I guess?" You mumbled shyly.
"No problem! Are you a first year?" The senior asked you, a warm stare meeting your own eyes. His circular cartoonish eyes were quite different to look at.
"Yes.." You nodded slowly, with the male looking quite ecstatic.
"Wow! It's been two days and your already training. That's hardcore first-year!" He began sweeping much more excitedly, with you watching unsurely. "You must be quite energetic!"
'It wasn't exactly me training..' You sweatdropped.
"I'm a third year, Mirio Togata." He told you kindly, looking at you patiently for your name, which you stuttered out.
"(Last)-chan huh?" He said your name slowly, there are days when you wondered how could some people smile constantly, and this was one of them. "We should hurry up, do you need me to walk you home?"
"Ah, there's really no need for that. I live in the dorms here so.." You rambled along, feeling rather shy for your senior to walk you home. He didn't look all that dithered, laughing joyfully.
"Well if you say so!"
Quickly, the cleaning ended. You walked along side Mirio, who was still talking quite animatedly to you. You answered politely throughout it all, as you walked to the door of the training ground.
"So how's school treating you?" He asked, as you made your way to the entrance door.
"Well, not to bad I guess." You shrugged slightly, as he laughed.
The male's head was turned to you, Mirio was seemingly a very joyful senior, and had this heroic feel about him. You smiled lightly at another joke he brought out.
'He must be a great hero huh?' You thought carefully, 'I wonder what his quirk is..'
"Anyways, I was heading to this-" in the midst of another tale he was telling, right when you were in front of the door, Mirio unexpectedly tripped on his own feet, and was barreling head first to the door.
You watched in surprise, unable to move as you waited for the impact. Until his head and half of his body passed through the wall? You stepped away from the senior, who's top half body was on the other side and his bottom half in your side. You were struck in surprise as you could hear the sheepish voice of Mirio in the other side of the wall.
"Whoops-my mistake!" He laughed with a hint of embarrassment, before you screeched when you noticed his clothes were on the floor now.
"Mirio-senpai! Um-what happened to your clothes?" You weren't sure where to look anymore, you could feel the heat rising to your face before your eyes accidentally saw something you shouldn't have.
"Oh wow.." You hastily closed your eyes, your eyes tainted. You were at all cost, extremely glad all the teacher were away. How exactly were you going to explain to them if they had come across you standing next to a naked man.
"Ah, sorry! I have a hard time fine-tuning all the adjustments!" You somehow was able to keep looking away as, you 'hoped', he went out of the door and begin dressing back to his uniform. You waited patiently, still red in the face before you heard Mirio say he's done.
You pulled your hands away, and Mirio-senpai was back in his clothes. Almost look like he never left it in the beginning, as the senior still smiled.
"That was something wasn't it huh?" He chuckled, as you smiled forcefully in a crinkled mess. 'It was something alright..'
'A quirk that allows him to pass through objects..?' You wondered as Mirio made his way out through the door, this time sliding it open. when you were in front of the school, you turned towards him to bid goodbye.
"Thanks for the help again, Mirio-senpai." You looked anywhere but his face, as he hummed with a nod.
"Sure! Get some rest okay?" He patted your head gently, making you jump at the touch. He grinned lightly, his soft pat getting softer before he pulled his hands away. With a goodbye, he walked out of the gates of UA.
You began your walk back to the dorm, fatigue finally hitting you. Your eyes sleepily looking at the dorm afar, but the earlier memory rising from the back of your head.
You weren't sure if sleeping was possible.
~•~•~
"So can anyone tell me which ones the correct answer?"
A much more calmer present Mic gestured to the board, showing three incorrect English sentences, with one being the correct one. You sat in your seat behind Uraraka in the back, who greeted you with a glowing smile, as the first class began.
These types of classes are always mandatory, so it's not too surprising to see such classes appearing. Being in the back had a perk you supposed, away from people's eyes on you, and if they were watching you, you would notice.
Speaking of people watching you, Midoriya strangely had been peeking over to you time to time not so dicreetly. The boy would give you small glance to the back, but just as quick turned to focus back on the class. It seemed like he couldn't focus today.
The whole class seemed rather bothered today, some even yawning tiredly, as everyone seemed to emit various bored thoughts. You eyes snapped towards Midoriya once again when you felt his eyes boring onto your again. He flinched in surprise, as you blankly stared back into the boy, giving a small growing smile which he gave back nervously.
With present mic's encouraging yell, you both focused back to the class.
Lunch rolled by soon, with a few stretch of happy groans and chairs being pulled back, the class went on their merry way to the cafeteria. You put away all your books into the bag, when Uraraka came barreling to you.
"(Last)-chan! Do you want to eat lunch with us?" You stared up at her, as Iida and Midoriya were currently waiting by the door. You smiled, her cheeriness was a fresh breath of air. As much as you liked too, you politely turn her down.
"Sorry Uraraka-chan. I promised to sit with someone else today." She didn't look bothered, her smile growing slightly smaller, but she gave a nod of understanding.
"Okay, you can join us anytime though okay?" With a small grin, she went on her way as you finished up packing away.
The class was slowly going bare, with only a few students still loitering around, about to head to the cafeteria. There was still one person other than you sitting in his seat, looking to be immerse in his own packing. His head very closely related as a bird as the silent boy focused on his own task.
You gave your own sigh, stretching up your arms above your head with a yawn. The classes seems to go on forever, you rubbed the back of your neck tiredly, closing your eyes. Right when you opened your eyes, about to head out towards the cafeteria, you were stopped by a shadowed figure right close up your face.
You yelped in surprise, attempting to give space between you two and the creatures glowing eyes. Before the bird-headed boy seemed to notice the disappearance of his partner, looking back at your panic state.
"Dark shadow." He called it over, as it still hovered close towards you, but pulled back at his call. Looking back towards him, but still seemed to glance back at you. You finally seemed to relax from the initial surprise, as your male classmate headed closer to you.
"Are you okay?" He asked politely, not throughly concerned since the shadow bird didn't attack you, as you nodded rather nervously. His voice brooding and deep, but it was rather calming to listen too. The shadow still seemed persistent to stay out, much to the male's dismay.
You blinked with a thought, "um, is he your..quirk?"
Your classmate nodded, "yes, that's Dark Shadow."
Tokoyami Fumikage
Quirk: Dark Shadow
He can utilize the shadow, Dark Shadow, at will!
"O-oh!" You nodded understandingly, finally pulling a smile to the male and its shadow. You picked up your hand, gently patting the fellow shadowed creature. The creature snuggled a little at the contact, with Tokoyami watching unsurely. "Pretty friendly aren't you?"
"Yup!" The shadowed bird squawked making you jump in surprise.
Tokoyami begged to differ, still holding a rather confused look. "Not this friendly.." He gave you a small nod, " it seems he likes you."
You laughed nervously, still giving the bird some pets, the sensational definitely different from your normal pokemon, as the shadowed creature had a sort of smooth yet prickly feel. You rubbed the back of your head nervously. "I guess so."
'I have a feeling my quirk might have triggered something...' You thought as Dark shadow submerged back to Tokoyami. 'Thankfully he liked me..'
"You were the one helping out Aizawa-sensei the day before I presume?" He asked you, as you nodded.
"Yes, my names (last)(name)." You shook hand to his outstretched hand, as he answered his name back formally. Your classmate definitely wasn't much of a talker, but he seemed to hold himself in another way.
He hummed in thought, before he crossed his arms. "You didn't appear yesterday, were you Ill?"
"Ah-" you shook your head, smiling lightly. "I had duties yesterday, Specifically ordered by Aizawa-sensei."
The bird headed boy nodded his head considerately, his lax form leaned at the edge of one of the tables. "So you weren't able to attend class."
"Yes." With a nervous laugh, you rubbed the back of your head. "By the way, are you heading to the cafeteria?" You invited him to join you, as he seemingly was left alone, but he declined the offer. Tokoyami grunted, looking like he remembered his earlier tasks.
"It's alright. I will stay here for a moment." With that answer, you bid him goodbye as you walked towards the cafeteria. This is your first time entering the cafeteria, so you admit it was much larger than you pictured. You lined up to grab some of the school lunch, greeted by the pro-hero Lunch rush, as you ordered your preferred order.
You walked around nervously, looking for a familiar tuff of bright purple hair among the crowd, smiling gleefully at the sight of the anti-social male eating his lunch all alone, in the midst of chattering students.
Seems about right, you thought smugly at the usual action of the boy, seating yourself in front of him. "This seat taken?" You asked with a smile, as he looked up to stare at your boredly.
"I'm pretty sure you know the answer." He snarkily replied, plucking off the rice to throw it into his mouth.
"Of course I do." You shrugged, taking a bite from your (fav food). "I'm just asking to be polite." The familiar words sprouted out of your mouth.
Shinso sigh, but a smile seemed to creep out slightly, with you chuckling a bit.
"But it's been awhile Shinso, I feel like I haven't seen you for some time." You told the male, feeling rather happy to see him. He let a rare small smile, but it quickly went away as he hummed in agreement.
Silence fell between you too, as you focused on the food. You hummed in delight at the savoring taste, definitely something you couldn't describe more than 'delicious' as Shinso picked up a conversation.
"So, how's the 'note' thing working out?" He emphasized, curiously asking you.
You shrugged, sighing lightly. "It's okay I guess..on the first day, our homeroom teacher made the class take part in some quirk assessment quiz. The next day It was the same, except for the class next door."
"So that's why class-A didn't appear during the opening ceremony." Shinso listened, as you continued on.
"Yes, but how about you? How's your class?" You leaned in interest, as Shinso gave a groan.
"Just like usual I suppose. Nothing strange about the Gen Ed class." He shrugged indifferently, with you smiling awkwardly. The male finally seemed lost in thought, as you worriedly look over him, perhaps you brought an uncomfortable topic?
"(Last)." You perked at his call.
"Yes?" The boy gave a sigh, pulling up his hands to rub the back of his neck.
"If it's not too much trouble, can you tell me what your quirk is?" His violet eyes clashed with your (eye color) eyes, with your struck surprise. You pressed your lips unsurely, looking around for any eavesdropper that might be around. You didn't see anyone except for Uraraka who waved towards you cheerfully with you giving a small wave back.
You sighed uncontrollably, meeting your eyes back to his still boring eyes. As you opened your mouth, the bell abruptly rung, and the student began cleaning up. Shinso seemed to loosen up, a sigh leaving his lips as he went up to pack up and get to his class.
Noticing his actions, you pulled onto his sleeves, halting him from leaving. He glanced at you, as you gestured him to bend down to your height, which he complied nonchalantly.
"Walk me home today okay?"
The male was confused, but nodded slowly. You smiled to him, and released your hold on his sleeves, as he finally went on his way back to class.
'I guess he's been thinking about it for awhile..' You walked back to class, a new urge to tell rising up your bile. "After school." You thought determinately entering you class to begin the first hero class.
Woo! Filler chappie. Nah, I actually really liked this chapter. We got to meet lots of characters this chapter, so I'm definitely in a good mood. First we had some introduction of the quirks, and some things I haven't throughly explained about this slightly different world. Overall, I'm pretty glad by how things are going so far.
We got to meet more of class B. Tetsutetsu and Monama sure have quite the personality. All I know, kendo is more gentlemanly than any guy in a nutshell. Woohoo! That I added Mirio, and it actually wasn't my first idea to have him appear this early, but it a spoiler story so I thought why not. Mirio is cute, and wickedly strong. The reader when she saw the willy, Oh WOw!, lmao. And last we meet emo bird, Tokoyami. Always found him quite the interesting character really. Overall, it was a chapter filled with meetings.
Lucario was requested Miraculous Ladybug, lots of thanks as usual. Lucario always gave the sense of a firm Pokemon in a way, so it was definitely fun to write about it. Either way, the next chapter is probably gonna be the Halloween chapter, which is due at, well, Halloween. But overall we'll have to see, I'm gonna need to fix up my schedule. Thanks so much for all your love and support! Hope you all have a great day!
