❦ Eighteen
You watched, eyes grazing the injured creature like a hawk. You held your other hand shakily, staring at the aghast wound, as your heart thudded weakly at the sight before you.
He's alive.
The sense of relief washing over you, yet your heart still aches for the pup, who was laid down, resting. Absol had held on as long as he could, losing blood constantly before he was moved towards the Nurse's office. You wondered how he could've gotten such a wound, but you didn't dare ask any of your peers as you rushed towards the ambulance holding the familiar creature.
Now the furred creature was knocked out, breathing out tiredly, as he was laid onto the bed provided.
You were in a small infirmary, a tiny room filled with shelves lined with medicine bottles, a room away from the original infirmary. The smaller room was provided for ones with harsher injuries. The few necessary medical equipments lined up by the white untainted walls, and the window had been draped by the curtains, blocking any form of sunlight.
You were alone with the Pokémon, except for the other creatures who were standing on the bed, looking sadly at the battered pup.
You sighed, raising an arm to pet the Pokémon's head, who seemed to relax slightly at your touch, his clenched eyes switching to slackened calm ones. You gazed at his soft pristine fur splashing with dried red from his battle, the dirty wrap wrapping around his abdomen securely.
When you arrive towards the infirmary, you felt your heart thud weakly at the sight, before Recovery girl quickly pulled you away from your worried thoughts. She asked for some assistance, which you provided as quickly as you could. It took a while, but eventually, the school's nurse was able to fix Absol up.
He was so close to d-no; you can't even say it. Nothing but fear and relief could describe your feelings at the moment, as you stayed close by the creature's bedside.
Emolga was standing on two little feet, eyes down casted, with Joltik on his head, appearing quiet yet with small tears pouring from the corner of its eyes. Sylveon, who had stuck like glue to your leg, had kept her pure sapphire eyes peered up at the injured pup, her ribbons lacing with your fingers in hopes to comfort you and herself.
You released another sigh, reaching out to stroke the fur down, keeping a gentle pace.
"He's gonna be alright, dear." A voice croaked, a soft gentle hum coming from the open door.
You flinched at the sudden voice, glancing back to the elder nurse, who still gave you a grandmother-like smile, which you returned back softly. Her short stature had padded into the room, her needle-like cane acting like a support. She stood right next to you, continuing. "He's a tough one, so he'll wake up in no time. For now, he needs all the rest he can get."
You nodded after a while, the tension in your shoulders relaxing, "Right, thank you so much Recovery girl." You thanked the elderly, as she smiled towards you. Your limited knowledge of medicine had come in handy, as you were able to assist Recovery girl with the injury. You'll be sure to come by and bring some herbs and berries for the pup.
Witnessing Recovery girl giving a chaste kiss on the creature earlier, her lips stretching to meet the unconscious animal. You couldn't help but be amazed altogether at the quick recovery Absol had, as Recovery girl's quirk is truly incredible and fairly rare. It was no wonder why U.A had no trouble with the students constantly injuring themselves.
However, during the process, your mind had unconsciously wandered. You remembered how you were so sure you wanted to become a vet, the sight of recovery girl's action reminding you of your past decision. What changed?
You shook your head, trying to rid of your swirling thoughts. Recovery girl nodded at your gratitude, as she turned towards the door, beginning to track her way out.
"How about we visit the two troublesome bed-ridden boys? Get your mind away for a second." She gestured you to follow her, as your brows clinched in amusement at her words. It couldn't hurt to check up on the hero-student duo.
You turned towards the three saddened Pokémon, who focus at your form after the conversation ended, "Wait here, alright?" You patted Emolga, moving to lightly pet Joltik with your finger, as the eeveelution cuddled up to your light caress. After giving the disaster creature another light pet, your hand lacing with his fur, you left shutting the door softly.
Walking by the window, the sun was at the peak of sleeping, peeping slightly as you were swarmed by the warm orange it emitted. Everyone else had promptly already left, the school closing for three days due to the attack. Apparently, Principal Nezu wanted both students and teachers to take a long break before they could open the school up again.
Your footsteps echoed in the lone halls, Recovery girl walk was slower than most, as expected, as you walked in her pace. The atmosphere between the both of you was comfortable, yet quiet, as you reached her main office.
Sliding the door open, you were greeted by a larger room, holding a few more beds. By the corner, you saw a desk, filled with books, and a wide-screen computer. Recovery girl moved to sit on to her chair, as you helped her up which made her smile up at you. Occupying two of the beds, you were greeted by Midoriya, bed-ridden yet fully awake, appearing to gaze at the ceiling blankly.
Lying on the bed beside him was All Might, in his other form. It was a bit difficult to get used to it, as All Might truly hold a body that literally screamed 'Hero', a man that had fought every villain that had so much as crossed by him. The body he had now didn't necessarily resemble much with his other form, so it was particularly strange the see the number one hero in a new light.
Other than the duo sighing simultaneously, Recovery girl didn't add much, only telling them in a soft voice, "Since this time the circumstances being what they are, I won't say anything." A hush silence passed by, as you fiddled your fingers uncomfortably as the duo hadn't noticed your arrival.
All Might's hollow eyes pierced the white ceiling, as he replied to her, "I don't doubt that I was being reckless with my time limit if only I had another hour or so in me." He pulled himself up, wincing causing you to walk towards him to help him up, your arms wrapping around his thin ones. He seemed surprised to see you here, spurting out another round of blood, and Midoriya had vocalized loudly upon realizing you were here.
"(last)-san...!"
An awkward grin appeared on your face, before you slowly succumb to an odd tension, as All Might hadn't explained of the situation you had caught. You plucked a tissue off the box, handing it towards the hero who took it gratefully.
You nodded at Midoriya in greeting, teasing lightly to lighten up the tense mood.
"H-Hey Midoriya-kun, guess you ended up here again huh?" The boy flinching, before he rubbed his messy locks with a small quiet laugh, eyes not meeting yours. You rolled your eyes playfully at his reaction before you asked him with a hint of worry. "How are you holding up?"
The forest-green boy replied, smiling lightly through his slight embarrassment, "Never better. Recovery girl healed my legs, so I should be able to go home tonight." He smiled, the freckles in his face were more apparent as you nodded at his reply. That was good.
"Young (last)." All Might called for your attention, as you observed the dark hollow eyes of his, as he didn't smile, appearing serious. There was that uncomfortable air around you three once more, as the somber gaze made you realize the hero's intention.
"W-We can talk about this later All Might." Interrupting his explanation firmly, you waved it off with a small smile. After all, All Might is still injured, so he should use his time in the infirmary to rest.
The hero shook his head, his gaze affixed at yours as he declared, "No, I don't think we could hold it out much longer. It's best if I explain to you as soon as I can."
Deflating uneasily, you nodded your head hesitantly, before seating yourself down on to the bed at the end, listening carefully.
It was quiet, as you wait for All Might's explanation. Midoriya almost looked worried himself, before All Might gave you the run-down details. "I got a wound 5 years ago, by the attack of a villain." His eyes were down cast, the two blonde strands loosely hanged down.
He placed his hands onto the spot he was referring too, as he winced upon touching the wound. It was currently hidden beneath the wraps, as he explained how it had destructed his respiratory system, and caused a side effect upon his face and eyes.
"I can't work actively as a hero more than three hours a day," He paused, before he added when he remembered, "-possibly less since I overused it today." He seemed solemn, yet he seemingly already accepted that part of his life.
You frowned, as you voiced out, "So-You can't fight at all in this form, and you're forced to work 3 hours a day only?" the hero nodded, as you felt pity for the number one hero, all due to a terrible battle. "I see, so that's why you were steaming, and spitting blood," You gestured towards your mouth, taking in the information slowly.
It's odd how his quirk disallows him to use it any more than a mere three hours. The hero replied, "Yes, that's right.", confirming your question about the side-effect of his quirk.
"But then," You lifted your head, eyes unconsciously moving towards Midoriya, who appeared restless once you did before you focused back to the hero. You pressed your lips uneasily, unsure how to voice out your concerns.
Although you didn't want to bring it up, all the evidences were beginning to add up. From Midoriya's wariness in talking about his quirk, his closeness with All Might, the similarity of it altogether. Not only that-Midoriya seemed to have complete knowledge of All Might's injury, in fact, seems like he knew more. You can't just ignore the curiosity you had anymore.
"...I'm sorry Midoriya-kun." The male visibly froze, already sitting on the bed, back pressed against the bed-rest. He waved his hands quickly, looking nervous already, as you looked away from his anxious visage.
"W-what? You don't need to apologize..." He replied, his voice lacing with confusion, staring at you with worried eyes.
You smiled amusedly before you finally heaved a sighed. There's no looking back now.
"That day, after the first hero class." The male flinched, as suddenly he got quiet, seriousness overthrowing his feature. "You told me-well more like Bakugo-san, about your quirk coming from someone else."
All Might also had switched to realization, realizing the hidden meaning behind your words, but you didn't stop. Not when everything is out in the open.
"When you said that-Bakugo didn't believe you, saying something about you being quirkless. Not only that, Tsuyu-chan pointed out your quirk being weirdly similar to All Might and you were always hesitant to talk about it-" You sighed between the words jumbling out of you, you focused on both of them. They clamped their mouth shuts, already sure of your incoming question.
"I know this isn't my place to ask-but Midoriya," You focused your attention onto your classmate, who stared at you back, pursing his lips together almost unsurely, yet he wasn't panicking, only looking at you, listening to what you had to say.
"You got your quirk from All Might, right?"
There was a dull silence between the three of you, excluding Recovery girl, who was still on her seat, listening with a small frown. All Might sighed almost immediately, almost in defeat, as you had ventured through a territory that was supposed to be kept hidden. The hero smiled wryly before he affirms your questions.
"I guess there's more for me to tell." The hero added, as you looked apologetically at the both of them, Midoriya looked guilty. Your suspicions were apparently right, as you listened to a story that explains more than enough.
All Might told you about his quirk, One for All. A quirk that was passed down for generations. The current holder of the quirk is All Might, or Yagi Toshinori, which seems to compliment him quite well, who is the eight holder. Before the entrance exam, he was encountered with Midoriya, who showed promising hero attributes, even though he was quirkless. Now, Midoriya had the quirk, and the rest is history.
Your eyes had widened after the scrawny man finished his story. "T-That's crazy...I never heard of a quirk being passed down simply like that." The duo had watched as you stated confused. "Most quirks would either be combined by two DNA, or possibly a quirk-skip like me..."
All Might added, "That's because it was a quirk merged and created, by All for One."
"All for One...?" You curiously eyed All Might, as he nodded solemnly.
"He's a villain from a long time ago. Right about when quirks began appearing." You heard about him a couple of times, but most of the time it passed your ears. The only thing you remembered was how he was a powerful man, with the ability to take and give quirks. Apparently, the man was still loose, hiding somewhere.
Midoriya had gotten really quiet during the explanation, as you notice the guilt rushing out of him. You yourself began to feel guilty, as you glanced towards him.
"I'm really sorry Midoriya-kun. I really shouldn't have asked." You apologized, but Midoriya shook his head, interjecting.
"No, it's my fault. I shouldn't have told you or Kaachan." The silence was held between both you, as you were unsure how to respond to his words. Both you and the green-haired boy were obviously feeling at fault, after all, this is something that All Might would definitely wish to keep hidden. You frowned.
Suddenly a hand was on your head, Midoriya was in a similar position. All Might looked at the both of you seriously, as he continued to lay his hand against your scalp. His arms were amazingly that long to reach the both of you. He began to smiled as he ruffled both of your hair.
"Now-now, that already passed. For now, I want you both to look forward, you both were a great help at USJ." Midoriya smile seems to grow back slowly, as you chuckled before you move his hand away playfully.
"You're gonna make my hair messy All Might," Your locks were already wavy enough, strands everywhere after your 'swim' in the flood zone, as you began uncurling the knots lightly.
"And I really didn't do anything, it was the Pokémon." You added with a playful pout, feeling a little bit better after letting out your worries and curiosity
"True, but you should give yourself more credit!" The boisterous voice was still there, as you chuckled again. Before anything could be said once more, All Might quickly interrupt, looking seriously once more.
"However, knowing this, I need you to keep this a secret between us." He explained he focuses on to your form as you stiffened slightly, listening carefully. "If news spread about this, it would be a threat to both me and Young Midoriya."
You nodded your head vigorously in understanding, as you replied.
"Okay, you can count on me to keep your secret," You assured, as you added with a smile blooming on your face, "and if you both need anything, you can count on me to help! You can trust me!"
Midoriya eyes widen, almost sparkling as he gazed at your face. You were holding both of your hands up, in a 'fighting' motion, as you grinned widely, the slight soft giggle leaving your lips as All Might had laughed with you. He was reminded of the day after the first hero class, as he can't get the image of you staring at him out of his head that day. And now he was awe once more, curling his fingers onto the blanket draped over his legs.
Upon realizing his thoughts, heat flew to his face, as he quickly tried to hide his face, catching your and All Might's attention, turning to see the boy plucking up the blanket to cover his face, yet the bright red was burning, to the point, it's impossible not to see.
"Young Midoriya, are you okay?" All Might asked, appearing confused at the boy's reaction as Midoriya waved his hand on a speed a light, speaking in high pitches of 'No!', and 'It's nothing!'.
"Are you feeling nauseous?" You tentatively asked, quickly getting off from your sitting position, walking towards the greenette causing him to blush even brighter as he began hyperventilating, shaking his head quickly, eyes appearing dazed.
"N-N-No! I'm okay! You don't need to come over!" He was stuttering, voice sounding smaller at each step you took making you frowned. Attempting to walk closer, you were halted by a familiar voice by the door, your form stopping short by the boy's bedside, as he sighed in relief when your eyes averted away.
'She was so close!!' (you weren't actually...)
"Excuse me." The door slid open, as everyone focused on the man appearing by the door. Your eyes widen, recognizing him right off the bat. He was dressed in a long trench coat, as he took off his hat, showcasing his dark trimmed hair. A kind, polite smile was placed on his face, as he greeted Recovery girl, who had kept silent during the talk, with a bow.
"All Might, long time no see." He greeted All Might, as the hero spluttered out blood, greeting the man boisterously. Apparently, All Might is acquaintances with the police officer as well.
"Tsukauchi, is that you? So you showed up huh?"
Midoriya panicked, sitting up higher to ask his mentor. "All Might...He knows-your true form?!" You hadn't expected that either, as the man didn't seem bothered by the hero's form. All Might quickly assure both of you that he was friends with him before Tsukauchi came closer.
The man unconsciously turned to you with a polite smile, as you bowed lightly, your body bending down in greetings. "It's good to see you Tsukauchi-san." You addressed, as the older man eyes lit up in recognition.
"Oh (last)-chan, how are you?" The man politely nodded towards you, as now both the hero and hero-in-training spluttered, the former spitting another round of blood as Midoriya shakily asked, his shaky eyes gazing at you as if you were a ghost.
"(last)-san?! You know him too?!"
You nodded, as you turned towards both the surprised teacher-and-disciple. "Since I work with the government due to my quirk, I met up with Tsukauchi-san often. He helps me if I need help rehabilitating Pokémon, or when I need help with particular Pokémon."
There was a pause, as the two stared at you blankly. All Might blinked before his visage seemed to light up in remembrance, "Oh yes! I forgot Principal Nezu explained it already." Midoriya seemed to still be in shock, murmuring as if he traced his memory.
"Ah-you did leave classes sometimes out of nowhere..."
"Yeah, that's when they call me to help-Ah, but it's only cause my quirk lures Pokémon..." You rubbed the base of your neck behind your head, as you stared, embarrassed. "...I forgot to mention that, huh?" You grinned in embarrassment, tilting your head in a silly manner.
"You can explain it to us later young (last)." The pro-hero assured, before Midoriya questioned again, on who the arriving male was, as All Might had to explain. Tsukauchi Naomasa, a police officer that was close with All Might.
"Sorry to be coming at you so suddenly, but I need your testimony about the villains especially..." The police officer asked, but All Might worriedly asked about the other teachers, and the rest of 1-A students, as you leered curiously, nervously waiting for the answer as well.
He quickly explained in reassurance. "Apart from the boy beside you, the students are fine for the most part- and the teachers aren't in any life-threatening danger for the time being," You sighed in relief, thank goodness no one was seriously in trouble, you knew the rest of your classmates seemed fine, but you felt relieved to know both Aizawa-sensei and Thirteen are going to be okay. "And one of the FE-Monsters seemed injured, but he's already fine I heard?"
The police officer peered towards you for assurance as you nodded, smiling when you remembered the Pokémon. He's gonna be okay.
"But, you know, if you three hadn't buckled down and fought bravely. Then it would have probably been a different story for the kids." Tsukauchi complimented the pro-hero.
"Is that so?" All Might asked before he added to the sentence, "but you've got one thing wrong Tsukauchi."
He gazed seriously at the police officer, who stared in confusion before the newbie teacher told him. "The students also fought bravely, and gave it their all." That was all you needed to hear, before you tuned out the rest, his compliment reaching a single stroke in your heart, as he continued his praises towards his students.
"They'll all make fine Heroes one day."

After requesting for some privacy, All Might and Tsukauchi had chatted for a while regarding the earlier battle. You were sat by Midoriya, who was slightly occupied after All Might walked off with the policeman. Your legs unconsciously fidgeting, as silence overcame the both of you.
Your eyes traced his figure, the bandages that wrap around certain parts of his body made you sigh. With quick reflexes, you lightly slapped his leg, that was hidden beneath the blanket, as Midoriya eyes shoot up to you as he jumped, yelping.
"(L-l-l-last)-san-What are you doing?!" He asked, his blinking eyes stared towards his legs, holding back the slight pain it held from the smallest movement as you frowned.
"Wow, you must have really broken them." You were pretty sure you hadn't slapped down that hard. "Is One for All really that difficult to control?" You asked, purely in interest.
He nodded his head, his wild hair bouncing with the movement, as he clenched his hand, staring at his arms. "If I used 100% power, I could easily break my arm, that's why I tried focusing it all on a finger before."
'Oh-back at the flood zone!' You remembered watching the male jump off the railings of the boat, as he created a huge whirlpool, with only his fingers.
"...Then, you really do have to be careful-breaking your bones too often sounds a bit troubling..." You added, pursing your lips in worry. But you smiled after a while, finding something funny. "Yet, somehow I was the one that pushed you to jump forward that time."
Midoriya remembered feeling a hand pushed him forward, as he caught sight of the threatening hand hovering just a bit away from All Might's form. Unable to hear his surroundings, he was clapped in the back, causing him to spring forward. He also smiled at the memory.
"All Might could've seriously been in danger if you hadn't pushed me in the last minute." The kind boy complimented, he grinned before you shook your head with a small laugh.
"I'm pretty sure if I hadn't, you would already be there before I know it." You grinned back towards him, patting his hand, that was resting on his lap. Midoriya blushed, as he couldn't keep down the smile growing wider on his face.
You pulled away, much to the male's disappointment.
Lighting up red, now he was embarrassed at his own disappointment.
A comfortable silence surrounded the both of you, as you both were basked in the low sunlight, Midoriya taking the moment to calm himself down. You were completely relaxing under the warmth, feeling the weight of the day being washed away, as the light began the dim.
You felt at ease at the moment.
You were brought off from your daze, as Midoriya called your name again. You pulled your head up, moving strands of your hair behind your ear as you tilted your head at the forest-green haired male, who lit up brighter than before, his face was a complete tomato-red.
"Uh-(last)-san, the Pokémon-is that right?" He fumbled with his words, as you smiled in amusement at his curiosity. He had averted his eyes everywhere except you, as he continued shyly. "C-Can I asked you about them?"
You hummed in thought, not answering as quickly as you enjoyed the silence. The male waited patiently for your answer, your silence making him fidget nervously, unsure if he had made you uncomfortable for asking.
After a long pause, you answered as the male perked eagerly, "Well-Since we both had begun releasing secrets of our own this lovely day." You turned your body to face him, "I don't see why not." You saw the way his eyes lit up in excitement before you chuckled under your breath.
"Let's not tell the whole world for now though, alright." You winked coyly, as he nodded with the hints of pink on his cheeks. You and Midoriya had continued chatting up together, as you explained the bits of your quirk, and Pokémon itself, releasing both of your pent-up words, that were meant to be hidden, yet were voiced out during that day. As you both got even closer than you were before.
~o~o~
The next day, you had begun tracking your way towards the school. The sun was out, shining even, as you track your way towards the school's field, much to your confusion. The only thing you heard was that Principal Nezu was the one that had called for you.
Your thoughts were already jumbled up enough, your tired eyes held dark eye bags as you walked forward. You probably resembled your homeroom teacher by now, as you chuckled at the thought.
You sighed, remembering the earlier events. After your sweet chat with Midoriya, you were suddenly called by Tsukauchi, who had told you something before you went back towards the dorm.
"What do you mean, I lured it?" You questioned in surprise, wide eyes gazing at the police officer in confusion, your earlier chat with Midoriya had comforted you up, but now you were feeling tense at the man's words.
The man shrugged his shoulder, placing his hat back on his head. He stared at you questionably, elaborating his statement. "Do you think it's a possibility? After all, Nomu seems like it could be categorized as a Monster."
You tilted your head, trying to remember any incident that might have linked you to be able to lure such a creature. It's not that impossible, after all, it truly looks the part of a monster. Yet you couldn't wrack your brain for any incident that could link the creature being intoxicated by the scent you emitted.
"All Might had told me it looked like he appeared to be acting rather odd during one moment in the fight, and that was when you appeared." The police officer added as a line appeared between your brows.
You weren't truly aware of All Might's suggestion, especially since you had just arrived the scene that time, but you also couldn't rule out the possibility...
"I'm still not sure, but we can use it as a probability. Has the Nomu been captured?" You questioned towards the officer, as he nodded affirmatively.
"It didn't respond to anything, completely like a robot itself," Tsukauchi said, as you hummed at his words. You supposed your conversation was coming to an end, seeing as the both of you had voiced out your concerns, but the man didn't seem finished yet. "By the way, are you ready for what's to come?"
You blinked in confusion, "What do you mean?"
Tsukauchi smiled, forcibly, as he described, "Since you had battled out earlier, releasing the Pokemon, the whole class now knows about the FE-Monsters, as well as the villains."
You flinched. Although you didn't regret your actions, you were worried about the consequences that have which to come. Your boss would hardly be pleased in finding out the number of people learning knowledge of the creatures, especially since both you and the federation had been doing your best in keeping the topic in hiding among society for the time being.
"Ah-you don't need to look so down." The man assured, smiling as reassuringly as he could. He could act like a brother at odd times, as he patted your shoulders at your grim look. "I'll try to talk it out with the head office soon."
You nodded your head, a thankful smiling lifting, "Okay, thanks a lot Tsukauchi-san. But please just call them Pokémon, it fits them a lot more!" You added with a leer, as the man chuckled at that. Both of you bid your goodbyes after ending the conversation, as you went back into the dorms.
Now that you think about it, didn't one of the head villains called the Pokémon, FE-Monsters? You'll have to make sure you tell Tsukauchi-san later, or perhaps the Boss.
You had begun sighing way more than usual at the mess that had happened. The Nomu with the possibility of being able to be lured by your quirk. It could be a good thing for the heroes, you supposed, as that means you could be bait. What Joy.
You were also waiting to be scolded sooner or later by your higher ups. Strangely they haven't made a move to do so. You wondered if they were going to call instead, as you shivered. You had never heard the boss's voice, as the only conversation you both had were via text. In fact, you had never been anywhere near the government, which you still felt relief for till this day.
Another thing that had been making you restless at night was the fact that the news of Pokémon might spread due to your classmates, as you were nervously waiting for the newspaper to be clad with nothing but the creatures.
And last of your worries, the villains seemingly knowing too much information than you had liked, not only about the Pokémon, but about yourself as well.
The day was getting better and better as time passed by. You were brought out of your argument with yourself, as you slammed into a tree bark. You head making harsh contact on to the hard wood.
You took a step back, scrunching your face at the impact as you placed a tentative hand on to the sore spot.
"Oww..." You grumbled, as your eyes lifted to stare at the tree, causing you to craned your neck up to meet the olive green leafs of the long-necked bark. You narrowed your eyes at the overgrown tree, was it just you, but this tree seemed oddly familiar. You gazed longer, to see the addition of coconuts onto the tree.
You reached a hand out, patting the sturdy bark as you peered up at the tree to see a reaction. You increased your patting, completely sure if anyone had so much as found you at this moment, they would stare at you like a mad man.
"Hmm..." You took a step back now, eyes still locked towards the top. After meeting many Pokémon, and being acquainted by so many, you could say honestly that your intuitions were mostly correct.
And you were almost certain a Pokémon lives on this tree...or-
You squinted at it, staring at it long and hard as if to find something that had stood out. Then a face had appeared. You jumped back with a yelp as the long-necked tree stood up in bark-like legs, the tree's dopey eyes stared towards you as you stumbled back, and your eyes widen.
'An ?!' You were watching in awe as the tall creature seemed to stand towering over you, as you plucked out your pokedex quickly, searching up the creature.
Exeggutor: The Coconut Pokémon
A Grass and Psychic Type
Living in a good environment makes it grow lots of heads. A head that drops off becomes an .
You stared at the picture provided with furrowed brows. Although they truly looked a lot alike, this exeggutor seemed to have grown incredibly tall compared to the ones you were acquainted too. 'A normal exeggutor would normally reach a height of 6'07 (2.0 m), yet this one seemed to reach a height of 30'00 (9 m), maybe even taller!'
"Incredible right?" You were back to jumping in surprise, swirling to meet the smaller form of the principal, as he smiled at you kindly. He walked to stand beside you, as the both of you stared up towards the oversized Pokémon. "Someone bought it as a gift to me, but I don't think he was aware it was a living breathing creature."
You were surprised, as you stared towards the head teacher. "That's crazy. But not unexpected." You added as you were almost convinced it was a tree yourself. The mouse chuckled, as he began seating himself down on the grass, as he gestured for you to join him.
"Sit down here (last)-san, let's chat."
You gave the mouse-bear creature a blank stare, as you questioned with a crinkled smile. "Um-wouldn't you like to sit in the sofa, inside the waiting room?" The principal shook his head with a cute smile, as you reluctantly seat yourself beside the animal.
"Did you get enough sleep (last)-san?" You giggled uncomfortably, as the creature must of noticed your tired outlook.
"Not the best, but I'm fine principal Nezu." You assured, as the mouse tilted his head sideways in slight disapproval. You added quickly. "Um-so, what is it that you wanted to talk about?"
The principal noticed the action, as you tried to stir the topic away, but he simply nodded, his polite smile appearing once more. "Well," Cutting right to the chase, the principal asked you questions you weren't quite ready to answer, making you sit a bit more rigidly. "(last)-san, how are you feeling about the attack yesterday?"
You averted your eyes, almost shrugging, as you tried to figure out an answer. "I'm confuse, a bit worried of the outcome of this." As the principal nodded his head understandingly.
"What exactly are you worried about?" The mouse questioned you, as you pursed your lips tightly.
"Um-Everything I suppose." You replied briefly, as you avoided the look the principal was giving you, asking you to elaborate even more. You tilted your head as you added. "I guess I'm more worried about Absol, the injured one." You explained, as you thought again. "Not to mention, everything seems to be going on so quickly. The Pokémon, that I had been trying to keep hidden has been brought to light among the villains and my classmates."
You sighed, twirling a loose pale strand, as the Principal hummed. There was a silence than enveloped the both of you, as you were quick to notice the huge Pokémon beginning to walk around, with two stubby legs like an elephant.
"But, don't you think it was bound to happen?"
You glance over at the mouse who gazed a front, your brows creasing at the question, as you replied unsurely, your hands wrapping around the grass by your side. "What-do you mean?"
The two dark button eyes smiled at you, as he began.
"The Pokémon. They were bound to make an appearance to the world at some point." You listened tentatively, as the mouse continued.
"You had probably done as much as you could to keep them hidden from the world. Not only due to orders, but because you felt worried of them yourself." He got up from his spot, swiping off the light dirt on his suit, as he walked forward, with you watching carefully. "But now, the Pokémon has begun coming out on their own, and their making their presence known to the world."
You warily glanced at the exeggutor, as he gestured towards the large creature, You stuttered, pointing towards the creature. "You mean, the pokemon?," Your question was replied instantly by the principal, nodding his head.
"This isn't the first time I've come across a pokemon without you around Ms.(last)." You felt confused, as that would mean that the pokemon really were making their presence known.
"That strange, it has only been a few decades when Pokemon were close to extinction." You frowned, as the mouse continued staring up at the noisy tree babbling with each other, the coconuts appearing as talkative friends.
"True, but I think their re-populating a lot sooner than we thought, in fact quicker." That was a great thing, you should feel glad, but you felt doubtful for some reason.
You felt your eyes down-cast for a second, unsure why you felt so down at the words. You couldn't deny that what he said had opened your eyes out wider for a moment, holding more truth than you were ready for. You felt yourself clench your hand tightly for a second, as Principal Nezu asked you.
"(last)-chan. Were you serious about being a Vet?" You paused, freezing before you sighed. The principal must of notice your hesitation, before he asked another question instead.
"What do you think about heroes now, if I may ask?"
You perked a bit at the question. After being with your class with hero-willed classmates, and teacher that had were pros themselves, you could say your thoughts much more clearly than a long time ago. You had watched them during the hero class, their actions during the intrusion of reporters, and finally the battle that took place in USJ.
"I, I think that heroes are truly amazing." You smiled lightly, as the mouse-bear nodded at your words, "They truly put everything in their soul to save lives, and I can't help but admire the fact that even though it seems impossible to win, they do anyway."
You mind unconsciously wandered to Midoriya, who had truly been courageous during the USJ attack.
"I'm glad you think so." Principal Nezu seemed happy with your response. You nodded hesitantly, as finally, you felt the slightest bit relief. The head teacher stood in front of you, as you sat up straighter at the strange visage of the mouse, as he started.
"I know you didn't want to, but I seriously see a lot of potentials, and I believed all the teachers truly do as well." You felt nervous, as you held your tongue as you waited for him to finish talking. He wasn't talking about being a hero again was he?
"The Pokémon will become a norm in our society soon, and it is ineffable. They truly can't hide anymore, as they are beginning to appear more than ever." You nodded your head slowly, feeding in the information as the principal continued with a kind smile.
"It's not gonna be easy for them, and there's gonna be a long hard road ahead. I believe that the world will be welcoming, but it doesn't mean it's gonna be smooth. I had a talk with the federation already as well."
You blinked. The principal had already talked to your boss? You were nervous, unsure what was the principal proposition. In a quick note, the principal asked you silently.
"(last)-san, what is it that you truly wish? think long and hard about it."
You paused, as if you were thinking, but you knew what it was right from the start. The words being the push you had for a long time.
"I-I want to make a place where the Pokémon can live peacefully...so they can live outside without the need of hiding." You recited the words that you plunged in your brain, as the principal nodded, his smile growing larger.
"I truly think you can do that." You peered at the mouse expectantly, as he held his hand out in an outstretched shake. You gave a sigh, almost laughing to yourself in amusement. You looked away for a moment, you gaze reaching the large creature exploring the area.
It was an overgrown tree, yet it had begun walking off as it continued babbling loudly.
With a sigh, you reached out your own hand, wrapping it around the mouse's hand carefully as you shook it up and down. You were pressing your lips together in a smile, eyes carefully on the mouse as you said.
"...Alright. I'll be a Hero."

Crawling his way out, Shigaraki Tomura had arrived in his hideout, after being conveniently transported to the bar-like hideout. The man laid tiredly on the floor, wounded after being shot multiple times, as he complained detestably.
On the far corner of the room, a blank white-screen computer laid on the counter, as a voice, the voice of his master replied to him. Shigaraki talked, upset as his entire operation was in ruins of now.
All Might was strong, he didn't seem weakened at all-! And not only that, the Nomu couldn't be retrieve and is now in the hands of the police! His boss assured him it's all couldn't be helped, for they were being far too optimistic about the plan. The man behind the computer had a low voice, sounding joyful yet dark. His chuckles resounded the empty bar, as Shigaraki remembered something regarding All Might.
"Powers like All Might, that reminds me of that one kid, if he hadn't interfered, we could have very well have killed All Might..." The wound man rasped, sounding angrier with each passing words, as he peered up at the screen through the crevices of his father's hand.
"There's no use crying over it-after all it's not as though today was entirely in vain." The man behind the screen have assured, completely sure of their soon to be win. The man was about to continue, before Shigaraki perked up slightly after remembering something.
"Kurogiri," The mist-man gazed from his spot behind the counter, "The photo," Understanding the young man's orders, he plucked out a picture hidden in the drawers as he handed it to the laid down man, who eyed the photo. "Sensei, you passed me this picture once, the girl, afflicted with them, she was there."
The man in the screen had stayed silent, fully understanding his young disciple words as the man seemed to find to conversation getting more intriguing. "Oh?"
"Not only that, The Nomu began acting up-! It was her definitely." The man continued, as there was silence among the room.
Shigaraki raised the photo higher, eyeing it, as he recognizes the person, even though she appeared younger. It was definitely her. Especially due to her reaction after he whispered things that she thought nobody knew about.
After all the endless defeat, the man smiled, completely sure of what to do now.
"Time to reel in a new character..."

Yay! I finished season one! Or I guess I'm gonna call it the first arc of the series. Man it's been a ride, but the chapter ends the first arc, as we move on towards the second, season 2 of bnha.
I wonder if anyone expected Absol to be okay? Hehe, he just got introduce, so he won't die, yet. So I Hope your happy with the outcome! And we are gaining a lot of new information! And this is gonna be pretty important on how the changes will begin in the next chapter. 18 chapters in and the reader is going to be a hero? Who would've thought. SO just a heads up before we begin the new chapters, the next parts will definitely have a lot of lore being thrown out. And I'm not kidding, that's where I plan to release a lot of things, as I feel dreadfully nervous. I hope I can focus on romances more with character that don't get much screen time...
You Know-I just realized how difficult it is to make villains as love interest at times. As I'm pretty sure having a good relationship itself with these character are hard. Especially when I'm beginning to feel like I'm making the villain's eviler lolol. But I have a way! Don't worry.
Hey, new Pokémon as well! The Alolan Exeggutor! This was just added for the sake of plot! But I never knew the creature is about 10 meters in actuality. Like-that's really tall.
So thanks for all of your support as usual. The next chapters will come out soon, hopefully next week! I also will add I'm kind of gonna focus on re-editing, or rebooting just a bit, to fix up my mistakes along the way. In quotev, I'm able to link people to specific pokemon I release in the following chapters. But it Wattpad, I couldn't do that. So from know on, I think I'll add gifs into the story. I'm incredibly thankful for everyone who added their own set of gifs, as from now on, I'll add them on to the story, and also on the old ones.
And the QnA will be released in a few days or so, so If you have any last minutes' questions, knock yourself out! See you then!!
