"Pow breakfast is ready," Jayce called down a hallway as he, his mother and powder moved into a larger home as the years went on and hextech has been growing into a larger success than anyone ever planned for.

He knocked on her door as his mother sat in the living room with her morning cup of tea. Knocking a few more times on a door with drawings all over it in neon paint.

"Pow pow I know your up," he called to wake her up.

"I'm coming in," he opened the door to reveal a large room in the dark, the walls were covered in blue prints, a loft bed where she could sleep high to touch her ceiling and drew her designs on the ceiling instead. Hammocks in each corner for her to swing in. Jayce whistled hoping to wake her as he walked over to open her dark curtains. Opening them up dramatically with the bright sunlight.

"Pow pow its time to get up," Jayce told her again as he looked at her tools and little gadgets all over her desk. Carvings in the would.

"Pow?" He didn't hear a snore or anything from the messy bed.

A girl walked down a busy street with a grayish purple jacket with a hood over her head, goggles over head eyes, close as she would be able to get to the under city, a familiar street she's met many times.

"Blue just in time," she stopped at an open market with scrap metal and little machines.

"Good morning to you too, thanks for getting my piece in toots," the girl grinned at the older man as he slid a hunk of something to her that seemed like junk to anyone else. She grabbed it and grabbed another gadget of hers from under the jacket, placing the piece on her own. She powered it on to make sure it worked.

"Little pow pow is back in action," she smiled at her small bulky gun and shoved it back under her jacket.

"Don't let the enforcers break it again," the man chuckled at his customer.

"Oh I'm sure they will, but it's something I can fix," she pulled her goggles up and winked at the merchant.

"I'll see you about bub," she tossed a few coins to the man and moved on before anyone noticed her.

"See ya blue," he waved as she went over to piltover before she got any closer to the undercity. Luckily this market is right on the boarder.

Once the girl was far enough away from the market she pulled her hood down and unbuttoned her jacket, pulling her long blue two braids out from under the jacket and fixed her long bangs.

Powder hummed with a little pep in her step while she examined her gun that would for sure get her into some trouble just for making. Viktor and Mel will give her a lesson for last time when it got broken, but it was something she's always been good at and never has she really needed to shoot anyone. But kirammans kid got to shoot, she wanted to too.

"Not again," a thick accent caught her red handed.

"Ah shit," powder groaned with her raspy voice.

Speak of the devil.

"Powder you know your not allowed this far to the black market," a tall enforcer girl with dark purple hair comfronted her.

"It's not the black market Girl Scout, just a market," powder rolled her eyes with her hands behind her back, hiding junior.

"It's on the boarder, that's the lanes," the enforcer crossed her arms.

"Caity it's literally first thing in the morning, I was just getting some stuff Jayce asked me for," she shrugged like it was nothing.

"And the gun?" Caitlyn smirked a little.

"I'm a creator it's in my blood! And it's your fault junior got broken, I wasn't gonna let my poor girl die from a little crack," powder showed her gun now fixed and Caitlyn raised a brow.

"Okay that wasn't my fault, you were trespassing at two in the morning," Caitlyn put her hands on her hips.

"Cause I needed some stuff, you shot me!" Powder held up her bandaged palm.

"I grazed you, I shot little pow pow," she smiled as the girls walked together into the city.

"Unforgivable," powder cackled hiding her gun in her jacket before anyone else saw.

"Don't tell me you and the peanut patrol are gonna be on my ass again," she raised a brow up at the older girl.

"Don't go in the black market, I'll cover you for now," Caitlyn nudged her and powder smiled.

"Hopefully I'll be back before Jayce finds out I'm missing, again," she snickered.

"You better hurry then," the older girl motioned to the clock tower ahead of them. Power pursed her lips realized it's been a bit longer than she meant.

"Catch ya later Girl Scout," powder went to find a fire escape and climbed up the side of the building to the rooftops.

"Good luck wacko," Caitlyn waved her off as powder got to the top.

The blue hair girl stood tall on the rooftop her braids flowed in the soft breeze as she looked over the city, she could see the over it all.

What has been her home for the past seven years.

She's been there for every moment for hextech, assisting Viktor and helping Jayce, studying as one of heimerdinger's pupils. She was just as smart as Jayce praised her for, and with the education she exceeded their expectations.

But she was still a girl from the lanes, she still wanted adventure, a sense of herself with the freedom. She couldn't help the feeling of a little trouble excited her, she never hurt nobody to get in serious trouble.

Powder took a small breath and took off in a sprint, her long hair flew behind her like a cape, going her full speed and leaped off the roof to confidently land on another across a large gap of an alley. Never stopping to admire her growth than when she first came here. Why stop when you can keep going forward.

It didn't take long for her to find her home, she landed with a soft thud and went to her own fire escape close to her bedroom window. She quietly opened the window to her room and slithered in past the dark curtains.

Powder tip toed to take her boots off and opened her curtains.

"How was your morning stroll?" A voice spooked her. Powder spun around with her hands up and saw Jayce in her swing chair in the corner.

"Morning golden boy," powder laughed nervously.

"What did you get?" He crossed his arms in the chair.

"Fixings for junior pow pow," she squeaked and showed her bulky hand gun to him.

"You already fixed it?" Jayce raised a brow.

"I did it all on my own, just needed one part for the bottom," powder set on her desk and took off her jacket, she had a golden arm cuff on her upper arm.

"Mhm, didn't go to close to the boarder?" He stood up and looked at the self made weapon.

"Nope Nuh uh," she smiled sweetly.

"That's why you went at the crack of dawn?" Jayce smirked.

"Early bird gets the worm," she shrugged and walked out of her bedroom.

"I made breakfast," Jayce followed her out as powder sat on the counter to eat some fruit.

"Ximena is there any tea left?" Powder asked sweet.

"Your cups on the counter, should be cool by now," ximena nodded as she read the newspaper.

"Ah yes thank you," powder switched to lay on her stomach across the counter to reach for her special tea cup and sipped it with a smile.

"How was your walk dear?" The older woman hummed and powder groaned.

"You ratted me out?" She looked back at Jayce as he grabbed his own tea cup.

"It's not ratting you out when I'm the one responsible for you," Jayce rolled his eyes.

"I'll ground you both my loves," ximena raised her hand keeping her eyes on the paper.

"Your fault," powder pointed two fingers at Jayce.

"What are you up to today?" She asked kicking her feet up behind her.

"I'll be visiting the professor later about hextech, I'm sure you'll be in your lab with Viktor by then," Jayce raised his brow.

"I'm getting lunch with Mel in between, girls stuff," powder rolled off the side of the counter and stood back up with a stretch.

She went to the cabinet and grabbed her meds to take for her mental illness, Mel has been trying to help her with her past trauma and they've made lots of progress she still has her own demons that seem to never go away completely.

She took a pill and swallowed without a second thought, she set them back with a disappointed look at the medication. She sighed closing the cabinet and leaned against Jayce as he was eating the left overs.

"Caitlyn caught me at the market to fix my stuff," she rested her head against his arm.

"She won't snitch, but she'll give you shit," Jayce didn't move as it was normal for her to rest against those she trusted. Powder never fully accepted physical touch, not till she's past a point where she's hysterical and needs to know someone is there with her. But to let her on her own terms wasn't uncommon for the ones she had love for.

"Girl Scout isn't so bad, it's just funny to me," she closed her eyes.

"I might hit the range before, test out little pow pow," she hummed and stole a piece of bacon out of Jayce's hand.

"Make sure you check in so they don't think you're breaking parole," Jayce threw his arm around her for a small embrace and she groaned.

"Parole is so unnecessary," powder leaned against him more.

"Maybe if you didn't keep going after hours it won't be considered trespassing at the range, library, university," he listed and powder snorted.

"Not like I'm stealing anymore," powder pushed herself off and finished her tea.

"Your getting older, your part of hextech, people are going to start looking at you as a scientist than a student or apprentice, you'll be representing," Jayce told her seriously and powder mimicked him back.

"Blah blah responsibility blah blah don't break shit, listen big fella I ain't looking to take anything over so representing is not a me issue," powder stuck out her tongue and Jayce gave her a look.

"You know what I mean, and one day you'll be my successor I'm sure, not for a while," he sighed shaking his head.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night," she waved him off.
