I write a letter when I have a crush so intense I don't know what else to do. So intense I can't concentrate on anything else. I put them in the bottom of my trunk.  Locked away. With a spell on them. Or two.

Hermione had just started Prefect duties for this year, she was walking around the grounds when Draco Malfoy, the school hottie, walk towards her. "Odd." She thought. He was walking alone, with a letter in his hand. She shrugged and continued walking. Normally he would be accompanied by his friends.

"Granger!" He screamed, Hermione looked down and rolled her eyes.

"What do you want Malfoy?" She scowled at him when he was close enough.

"I appreciate it, but it will never happen." Draco said.

"What?" She Snapped. Draco showed her a letter. Her mind and heart started racing, she felt like she couldn't breath.

"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly as Hermione began to fall to the ground. Draco took her in his arms and gently put her in the floor.

"Granger?" Draco asked, but Hermione had fainted. After a minute she opened her eyes slowly.

"What happened?" Hermione asked rubbing her eyes.

"You fainted." He explained. She sat up and saw someone walking towards her. It was Harry and he was also holding a letter. Draco was kneeling next to her and without thinking twice she grabbed him by the robes and kissed him. She pushed him down so she was on top.

After she pulled away she turned to look at Harry, he was shocked but he was leaving. She breathed out and laid on her back. "What the bloody hell Granger?!" Asked Draco.

"Oh. Yeah, I'm so sorry." She whispered. "Well goodbye." Hermione added, she got up and left Draco.

"Wait!" He said. Hermione spun around and saw him running towards her.

"What?" She asked a little bit annoyed.

"I have a deal." He began, Hermione arched her eyebrow but nodded so he continued. "Do you have to avoid Harry thinking you like him because of the letter. And I need to make Pansy jealous."

"So?" She asked.

"Well, we could fake date..." Draco said.

"What? You? A mudblood hater with a mudblood." She laughed.

"Yes." Draco said seriously.

"Well, Erm. I have to think about it." Hermione said and once again she left. Draco stood her, watching her go, thinking about he just said. Thinking about the letter.

Hermione was thinking about the letter and the deal that Draco had given her. She couldn't meet with Harry after he had read the letter so she rushed towards the library and hid behind a book.

After a while she began to feel sleepy but she still couldn't go back. Not after the letter. That damned letter. She had after all kissed Draco. And it felt somewhat nice... Hermione shook the thoughts out of her face and continued reading but not before long she fell asleep.

She dreamt that she was with Draco, not a real relationship of course, just through Harry off. Ron was pissed because he had no idea what was going on. And Harry was fine. He knew that she probably wasn't interested.

All of a sudden she felt a sharp tap on her shoulder and was pulled back into reality. "Yeah? I'm awake." She Quickly said. It was Draco, he had pulled a seat in front of her.

"So?" He asked.

"So what?" Hermione asked him sitting up.

"Will you be my fake girlfriend?" Draco said  with a grin. Hermione rubbed her eyes.

"Give me one more day." She whispered.

"Okay, but you can't fall asleep here. It's nearly 1 am and the librarian left. She only let you here because you are prefect." Said Draco. He put his hand out and Hermione took it.

Draco helped Hermione over to the Gryffindor common room. He left her in the portrait hole and left. Hermione waved goodbye and stumbled tiredly through the portrait hole. Inside it was quiet, Harry was sleeping in the sofa chair waiting for Hermione. She rushed over to the stairs and tapped him in the shoulder before running away.

Hermione didn't want him to stay sleeping here but she also didn't want to talk to him. Quickly, she fell asleep in her warm bed. Her thoughts clouded by Draco and Harry. But she had to make a decision sooner or later.
