Sitting in the cold sand in the middle of the night wasn't quite what you thought of when you told Leo you would help him search for his brothers, but all you could do right now was keep an eye out for any foot ninja. Leo was currently underwater in the river, searching for any clues that his brother and Master had survived the attack on the submarine while escaping. You shiver and wrap your arms around your upper body. Being in such a rush you hadn't thouggt about getting a jacket before leaving for the search. How the hell could Leo walk around in this cold with absolutly on?! He was a turtle, yes, but still.

Exhaling, you watched the white fog slowly rise up into the air. A splash breaks the silence of the night and you turn your head in the direction of the sound. Leo had just came back from his search and had exited the river about 100 meters away from you. Jolting up, made your way over to your friend. Huffing for air he layed down an object he had apparently found.

Looking at it closer you saw it was one of the airtanks Donnie had stacked up in the submarine. You looked at Leo, waiting for him to tell you what he had found out.

After a short time Leonardo finally looked up to you and smiled.

"They got out before the sub got hit." Your eyes widend and you began to grin as well.

"Really?" Leonardo nodded, stood up and pointed in direction of the docks.

"My best guess now is that they went to search for shelter in one of the old warehouses.  I think that's the best when we start to look there for any other hints."

"Sounds good for me. Just lead the way."

Together you walked over to the warehouses. Before entering Leo gestured to be as quiet as possible, just for safety measures.

After looking around the ground floor, the two of you headed up to the next level. Leo lead the way and you tried to make as less noise on the old, creacking stairs as possible. At the top of the staircase Leo stopped and looked around.

"Who's there?!" Leo's sudden shout starttled you, making your heart drop. Leonardo was now standing in front if you, kanatas drawn, ready to protect you from whatever would come.

In the shadows you saw a faint movement.

"Donnie! It's me!" Putting away his weapons, Leo signs you to step forwards.

"Leo? (y/N)? Is it really you?" Donnatello suddenly comes out of the darkness with a bright smile on his face.

"Donnie!" You run up to him and hug him tightly. "You really are alive! I was so worried." Donnatello laughed and returned the hug.

"We are hurt but yet alive, that's the most important thing." Master Splinter had joined the reunion of you three. Happy to see him you give him a hug as well.

"It's really good to see that you both are alright." Leo was smiling at his brother and Sensei. "But now we need to find a better place for you two to rest and heal up." Only now you see the two had wound, they were patched up, but certainly needed better treatment in order for them to heal up fully.

"Any idea where we should go?" Donnie questioned his brother.

"Hmmm..." Leo crossed his arms and started to think.

"Uhm, guys?" You interrupted Leo and Donnie to get their attention. They both turned to you.

"What is is (y/N)?"

You smiled at the two turtles.

"I think I know where we can go."
