~My POV~

It's been a few weeks after my powers awakened and the very last time I got to see and speak to my mother finding out the truth of my life and my true identity. Everyone was getting used to calling "Aika", Donnie even looked for the meaning of my name means "Love song" no wonder I love music that much especially the romantic ones. I was also getting used to my long hair that it was ALOT of work to keep it clean and untangle, I had to keep it on high ponytails because if I let it loose it would drag. Aqua helps me a lot with my by brushing it and helping me wash it.

Speaking of Aqua she's been spending almost every time with Leo. She would always train with him, read with him, go on patrols with him and even watch Space Heroes with him. It's strange but I think I know what's going on with her.

I went to the pool to check if Aqua was there witch she was and surprisingly she was alone so this was a good opportunity to have a girls talk. I walked over to the pool and Aqua was in her mermaid form floating on her back with her eyes closed, I think she was relaxing before the moon comes back tomorrow. She told me when that happens she can't turn into a mermaid until the moon disappears.

I sat on the edge of the pool with my feet in the water. It was cold but refreshing.

"Aqua" I called her.

She opened her eyes and looked at me. "Oh, hey Ai-chan." She smiled.

I giggled at my nickname witch I loved like the meaning of the nick name. Ai means love in Japanese and I really really loved the nick name. "Hey sis, can u come her for a moment? I want to have talk with you."

"Sure." She swam to me and she put her arms on my legs and rested her head on them looking at me. "What do ya want to talk about?"

I giggled again. "Weeeeell it's more like ask you something."

"Okay? So that do you want to ask me?" She asked a little confused.

"Do you like my big brother Leo?"

She let her self dive in the water after the question I laugh at that reaction "Sis come up it's nothing to hide from your little sister. I would actually love to see you two together since you already look really kawaii (cute)  together."

She poked here head a little out of the water. "You really think so?"

"Absolutely! So tell me the truth you like him?"

She blushed really dark blue and closed her eyes tightly and responded. "Yes!"

I was trying to hold my excitement but it got the better of me. "KYAAAAAAAAA!!! I KNEW IT!" I shrike in excitement. At that moment I felt Aqua grabbing me covering my mouth and pulling me into the water.

"Shhhhh! He might hear you silly cat!" She shushed me.

I just nodded and she let me go. I started swimming around her saying she loved him, Aqua just face planted.

~Aqua's POV~

I face planted at the silly cat of Ai-chan  because she was singing that I loved Leo when I told her to be quite about that or he might hear.

"So Aqua, when are you going to tell him?" She asked me still swimming around me.

"I-I won't tell him." I perk my ears down a little feeling sad that I won't tell the person I liked about my feelings.

Aika-chan stop swimming around me. "But why??"

"Because... What if he doesn't like me and I get rejected? And after that everything will get weird between us and I don't want that."

"Oh come on sis that won't happened I just know it won't."

"How are you so sure?" I looked a her a bit.

"Because I've been seen how much time you guys spend with each other and all the things you have in common."

"Like what?" I asked perking my ears up a little.

"Like reading, training, patrolling heck even being leaders not to mention that Master Splinter put you as co-leader and up until now you two have been working really well with each other. Besides I know my brother and I know you caught his eyes."

I thought for a bit then I looked at Aika-chan and smiled. "Thanks Ai-chan. But let's wait a little longer just to make sure ok?"

"Hai hai. But why don't you go on patrol with Leo for a while? It'll be good to spend more time together. I'll go on a little training run with Raph but I'll make sure that we go to another direction so we don't disturb you"

"Alright Ai-chan"

"Hai Aqua lets get ready."

"Ok but first, can you get me a towel?"

"Ooh! Better yet, let me use my powers  since is like wind power but with sakura. Onegai (means 'pleas')" She said looking at me with puppy eyes.

"Ok ok, go ahead"

Aika clapped like a little kid and got out of the pool and helped me up. She then pointed her hands towards my tail and closed her eyes concentrating. I looked at her hands that started to emit a pink light with wind and sakura petals coming out from it. I started to smell the sweet aroma of the sakura and felt the soft breeze of that magical wind. My legs came back after a while. I looked at Aika and she opened her eyes and was panting a little.

"Good job Aika, you're getting the hang of it with your powers." I petted her head.

"R-Really?" She panted.

"Yes"

"Yay! I'm going to tell Master Splinter I'm doing much better with my powers!" She got up and rand to the dojo.

I just chuckled at her childish behavior, it was so cute to see her like that.

I got up and went to look for Leo, after a while I found him in the living room watching Space Heroes. I walk up to him and stood from behind, he didn't notice me and that gave me an idea so I crouched down and got close to his ear. "Hey Leo" I whispered into his ear.

"Ah!" He whipped around and fell on his back. I just giggled at his reaction.

"Did I surprised you?" I asked helping him up.

"Yes!" He got up.

I giggled again. "You were really into that show Leo.

"Yeah I know hehe." He scratches the back of his head. "So um did you needed something from me?" He asked me looking into my eyes with his blue eyes making me blush.

"U-Um... Yeah I-I was wondering i-if you wanted to go on patrol with m-me." I said stuttering a bit and using my tail to hide my blush.

"Sure I would go with you." He smiled at me.

"G-Great! I'll g-go get ready Blue Eyes- I mean! Leo! Um... I'll go now!" With that I ran off to my room.

~Leo's POV~

'Wait... Did she just called me Blue Eyes?' That's was the question that Aqua left me with after she ran off to here room. She was acting weird, and it's just me or did I see her blush? Either way I went to get my gear to go on patrol but I could take my mind off of Aqua, she actually looked really cute with that blush and her light blue eyes looking into mine they looked like they were eyes of an angel. I felt my cheeks burn up at those thoughts and they burned up even more as I stated to imagine Aqua as an angel of the sea. I don't know why lately I've been thinking of her a lot and feeling strange around her I just really didn't know and I wanted to find out.

~A while later~

Aqua and I were on are patrol and so far everything was  in order. We stopped in a rooftop to check and make sure everything was ok, Aqua  climb a water tower that was on that roof and looked around. I looked at her and she looked so hot in her kunoich outfit. She jumped down and landed in front of me.

"Everything looks clear." She informed me.

"Good then let's patrol the west side and then we call it a ni-" I said being interrupted by an arrow that landed near my feet. I quickly took my katanas out and got into position, Aqua did the same taking out her sword and growling. We were soon surrounded by Foot ninja.

"Well well well what do we have here?" Fish face stepped forward. "Leonardo and the mermaid, this should be fun, right Tiger Claw?."

"Indeed." Tiger Claw jumped in next to Fish Face.

Aqua growled even more.

"Well see about that!" I charged at them with Aqua.

We  started to fight the Foot it was an epic battle with us kicking their butts but it wouldn't last long since we were outnumbered. I was fighting some foot ninjas and Fish Face while Aqua took on Tiger Claw witch she hated a lot.

"You think you can win tortuga?! Think again!" Fish Face said as her throw a smoke bomb at the floor.

I started to cough and keep alert but he caught me by surprise and hit me with his tail sending me flying and crashing to a wall. "Ah!" I screamed in pain and help me right shoulder  as I felt a lot of pain in that should.

"Leo!" I heard Aqua  shout and try to come to me to assist me but Tiger Claw used the opportunity that she was distracted to punch her hard making he fall off the building!

"AQUA!!"

~Aqua's POV~

"Ah!" I screamed as I fell of the off the building on to a dumpster  on my back then falling on the floor flat on my stomach.

I coughed and gasped for air but it hurt as I did, I couldn't get up because my whole body was in pain and I think I may have broken a bone or two. I tried crawling but it hurt too much to do it.

"H-Have ... t-to... h-help... L-Leo..." I said weakly starting to slip into darkness.

As the darkness was starting to consume  me I felt somethings lick my check and...purring? I started to escape the darkness and before I know it I was back. were I was. When I looked to see what kept me from slipping away it was a kitten. The little kitten liked my nose and meow like it she was trying to keep me awake.

"T-Thanks l-little k-kitten..." I smiled a bit with pain.

After minutes later I heard someone coming down from the fire escape.

"Aqua!" I knew that voice... It was Leo.

Leo came to my side and got on his knees putting a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at him as much as a could and saw his worried expression on his face but I also saw his bruises and cuts all over him. "L-Leo..." I chocked a bit.

"Don't talk, just save your strength. I'll take you back to the lair so you can heal." With that he picked me up gently but he let out a yelp of pain as he did and I could see he was trying to hold back his pain.

"L-Leo l-let m-me g-go... Y-You're s-shoulder..."

"Don't worry about it I can manage."

I heard a meow and looked a little to the kitten in front of us. I felt bad about living the kitten after she kept me awake. So I looked at Leo and asked. "C-Can I-I k-keep h-her?... S-She k-kept me a-awake..."

Leo though for a moment. "Alright you can keep her."

I smiled weakly and with that he took us back to the lair.

~At the lair~

Leo slowly and carefully got in the pool while holding me in his arms. He looked at me as my tail began to pop out and I began to heal. After a little while I swam out of Leo's arms and began to swim around a bit and took relaxing breaths. 

"So good to be in the water." I said splashing around.

Leo chuckled and tried to pull himself up from the pool. "Ah!" He fell back in and held his shoulder wincing in pain.

"Oh no Leo!" I swam to him to him and held him. "Be careful it maybe broken don't make it worse."

"I-I'm fine don't worry." He said wincing a bit.

"No your not, stay still and let me heal you."

"A-Aqua"

I started healing him before he tried to talk m out of it, I wasn't going to let him like that after it was my fault he ended up like that. I finished healing him and looked at him in his blue eyes. He looked into my eyes and blushed lightly. "T-Thank you." He said to me.

I blushed. "Y-Your welcome"

Are faces were only inches away from each other, we never looked away not even for a second we just kept staring deep in to are eyes, he then started to lean in that made me blush a bit more and lean in too until...

"Donnie we need you!" We heard Raph from the entrance.

We got out of are trans and we quickly separate.

"I'm here!" Doctor said.

We looked at was happening and saw Raph holding...
