A Son's Duty

Hiroto stood at the entrance of the hospital room, his gaze fixed upon the figure lying in the bed before him. The man who once struck fear into the hearts of his enemies, who commanded the formidable Foot Clan with an iron fist, now lay vulnerable and weakened.

The Shredder, his father, looked up at Hiroto with eyes that still held a glimmer of the fierce determination that had defined him. But there was also a hint of resignation, a recognition of his own mortality that he could no longer deny.

Hiroto couldn't help but feel a surge of conflicting emotions as he took in the sight before him. Part of him felt a pang of sadness at seeing his father reduced to such a state, but another part couldn't help but find a sense of irony in the situation.

"So, this is what it's come to," Hiroto remarked, his voice laced with a hint of sarcasm. "The mighty Shredder, laid low by his injuries."

His father's gaze hardened, a flash of annoyance crossing his features. "I don't have time to deal with your snarky attitude, Hiroto," he retorted, his voice still carrying the authority that had once commanded legions of loyal followers.

Hiroto arched an eyebrow, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips. "And what exactly do you expect me to do about it, father? Wave a magic wand and make you all better?"

The Shredder's expression darkened, his patience wearing thin. "I expect you to find a way to heal me," he demanded, his tone brooking no argument.

Hiroto's smirk widened into a smirk. "What's to stop me from just finishing you right now and taking the Foot Clan for myself?" he countered, his eyes narrowing as he met his father's gaze head-on.

TigerClaw, ever loyal to the Shredder, tensed at the threat, his hand drifting towards the hilt of his sword. But a sharp glare from his master told him to stand down, for now.

The Shredder regarded Hiroto with a steely gaze, his voice low and menacing. "Even if you were to kill me, my followers would hunt you down to the ends of the earth," he warned, his words carrying the weight of a promise.

Hiroto paused, considering his father's words for a moment. He knew that the Shredder spoke the truth - the Foot Clan was a force to be reckoned with, even in its current state. And as much as he resented his father, he couldn't deny the power that he wielded.

But then, an idea began to form in Hiroto's mind. A way to turn the situation to his advantage, to prove himself to his father and claim his rightful place within the Foot Clan.

"I know a way," Hiroto said finally, his voice firm and resolute. "But it won't be easy."

Meanwhile, in the depths of the sewers beneath the city, a group of unlikely heroes were engaged in a different kind of battle. Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Y/N, Ethan, Timothy, Casey, and Raphael sparred with each other under the watchful eye of their master, Splinter, and the enigmatic Shen.

Their movements were fluid and precise, a testament to years of training and discipline. But suddenly, their practice was interrupted by a proximity alert from Donatello's lab.

"What's going on, Donnie?" Leonardo asked, his brow furrowing in concern as they gathered around the computer screen.

Donatello's fingers flew across the keyboard, his eyes scanning the data as he tried to make sense of the information before him. "Shredder's Air-liner has lifted up," he announced, his voice grim. "And it's heading somewhere."

Raphael's eyes narrowed, a growl rumbling in his throat. "Shredder's back in play," he muttered, his fists clenched in anger. "We should follow him and put an end to this once and for all."

But Splinter shook his head, his expression grave. "We cannot allow ourselves to be drawn away from the city," he cautioned, his voice tinged with sadness. "The people here need you now more than ever."

Leonardo nodded in agreement, his sense of duty as a leader outweighing his desire for vengeance. "We can't let the Shredder hurt any more innocent people, New York or Not" he declared, his gaze unwavering.

Y/N stepped forward, a determined look in his eyes. "But where is the plane heading?" he asked, her voice steady despite the uncertainty that hung in the air.

Donatello glanced back at the computer screen, his brow furrowing in concentration. "Based on their current trajectory," he began, his voice trailing off as realization dawned upon him. "They're heading for...
