It's a sweet song with beautiful guitar and meaningful lyrics. He'll sweep you across the room, humming softly as he twirls, his eyes sparkling every time he sees your content smile and close-eyed swaying to the tunes. He'll recite the words to you without thinking in his texts, in his phonecalls to you:

When the evening pulls the sun down

And the day is almost through

Oh, the world it is sleeping

But my world is you.

It fills him with such joy to dance slowly to the beat and sultry voices, with your head on his chest.

Raphael - The Chain by Fleetwood Mac

This is your song you both listen to to pump up for training, or simply for a boost of energy. The rises and falls of the songs and the classic rock feeling sets both your hearts racing, and when you lean close enough so that he can hear you belting along to the blasting song, Raph's heart speeds up that much more. He loves getting a bit wild with you, watching you hop on top of furniture, singing into a ladel from the kitchen and catching you every time you slipped.

The guitar solo was the best part obviously, as he would pick you up into his arms and use your tummy as a makeshift guitar, making you erupt into giggles.

Donatello - The Underdog by Spoon

Maybe it's the trumpets at the beginning, or the rock'n'roll vibe that catches him off guard every time you begin playing it in his lab, but he can't help but bop his head to the beat and pull you close, abandoning his work to cheekily swing dance you around the workspace, singing along with you. He takes in every second of your hip-shaking fun-making, loving the light you bring into his world each time you grin at him. And he loves the burst of confidence you (and the song) give him.

You got no time for the messenger,

Got no regard for the thing that you don't understand,

You got no fear of the underdog,

That's why you will not survive!

He's always thought of himself as an underdog, but having you next to him, embracing the title right along with him, makes him feel like the luckiest loser in all the world.

Michelangelo - Perfect by Ed Sheeran

It's uncharacteristic, for him to fall in love with such a slow song, but the moment he heard it, every lyric translated into his love for you. He plays it right before the two of you head to bed, admiring you in all your tiredness, mussed hair, and wrinkled pajamas. You snuggle under the covers beside him, your heart filling even more as he begins to sing softly to you (he has a surprisingly good voice). It's the most peaceful way to fall asleep, with him singing that lullaby to you.

Barefoot in the grass, listening to our favorite song,
