Donnies  POV

Donnie had felt unbearable pain in his head that expanded through his whole body, but now it felt like he was floating. Then he heard an angelic cry.

"Donnie!" "No!" "Please Donnie!" 

It was Sophie. Please. his mind begged the angel.  Don't cry. I'm okay. But his brain couldn't seem to tell his mouth to move. He couldn't move. But he felt no pain.

Someone's wet tears dropped onto him.

"You hurt my brother!" Raph. "I will KILL you!"

"You're dead!" Mikey.

"I failed as a leader and a brother." He heard Leo sob.

No. His mind said. You're  the greatest brother. Raph, Mikey please. Don't fight Shredder you will die. Please! Keep Sophie safe.

"Donnie!" The angelic voice was back. "Please, Don't die on me!"

I won,t. I promise his voice whispered.

Let me come back to her. To my family. Donnie's mind whispered before they die.

Slowly Donnie opened his eyes.
