It's been 2 and a half days since we left the comforts of New York City. We were on our way to Samiya, the legendary Sea Temple. Eventually it was already 1 in the afternoon and Umiko was still guiding us to the Temple.

"Hey babe, does Umiko like me?" Leo asked me in a soft tone.

"What do you mean? Of course she likes you. But she's still shy about some things. She's mostly more comfortable with Rachel and Aika."

"Sometimes I feel like that she doesn't like me at all." he looked down.

"Leo..." I said his name as I hugged him. "I don't think that Umiko knows that I'm bonded with you as well. But she'll understand."

"How can I make her trust me? I'm a good guy, right?"

"Of course you are. She needs to see that you're a good person on the inside."

"Hmm... what do you do to make people trust you?"

"Well... I sometimes like to give them treats and use an icebreaker. That always works."

"Huh. Okay. Can I try it?"

"Sure. Go ahead baby." I smiled as I kissed his cheek. "Once we stop the boat for lunch, then you can try to bond with her."

"Okay."

~Later on in Leo's Perspective~

As everyone was eating lunch, I looked at Umiko. She was eating a snack that Rachel made especially for her. I didn't know what to do. Umiko was far different than anything I've ever encountered and it made me feel a bit uneasy. But I want her to like me, so I held my hand out to her, hoping she would see it.

Aqua looked at me and winked at me, knowing what my motive was. "Hey Umi, look." she pointed my hand out to her.

Umiko turned her head and saw my hand near her. Then she looked up to me with those beautiful turquoise blue eyes. I was easily lost in those eyes because they were captivating me. But I didn't pay attention enough to see that she got close to me and held her flipper to my hand. I looked down to see that her flipper was on my hand. I smiled as gently stroked her flipper, giving her the soft eyes. "Hey Umiko."

"Mana?" she glanced at me while her head was tilted.

It was adorable to see her look at me like that. I flashed a smile and held out my other hand to her. "Can I hold you?"

"Mana..." Umi looked back at Aqua and back at me. Then she nodded her head. "Mana." she said as she held up her flippers.

I smiled and picked her up in my arms, holding her in my embrace. "Hey beautiful." I held her flipper and kissed it which made Umiko giggle with joy. I chuckled lightly. "You like that beautiful?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Mana." Umiko rubbed my cheek with her flippers.

"Umiko, I love you."

"Love?" she tilted her head.

"Love you. Can you say it?"

"Love... you?"

I smiled. "You did it."

"Mana, love you!" she giggled as she hugged me again and this time I hugged her back.

I closed my eyes, enjoying the embrace that I was wrapped around with. It was a snug and warm hug and I was loving it a lot. 'I will always love you Umiko.' my thoughts spoke to me.

After we ate lunch, we were back on the way again. I was watching Umiko leading us again to our main objective. As I was watching her, Aqua cane up to me and took a spot on my lap. "Hey babe." I wrapped my arms around her.

"Hey baby. Did everything come out okay?"

"It surely did." I smiled big.

"That's good I'm glad to hear that. It looks like she's very fond of you. I've never seen this side of our water child."

The word 'child' got me into thinking. That maybe I wanted a child if my own. I looked at Aqua and rubbed her cheek. "Aqua?"

She looked back at me. "Yes Leo bear?"

I blushed and gulped the feeling down my throat. "Am... Am I a good father to Umiko?"

She smiled. "Of course Leo. You're a very good man. And a good father. She follows you everywhere. Also did you taught her to say something? She's saying it to everyone but me."

"Yes. I did. I taught her to say, 'I love you.' Was that good?" I asked her.

"That's very good Leo." She hugged me.

I hugged her back. "Maybe one day I would like... a mini version of me or you to say that." I blurted out my words and covered my mouth.

"R-Really babe?" Aqua stuttered a bit as she was blushing red as a pomegranate.

I gulped again and nodded my head. "Yeah... was that too much to ask..?"

But all Aqua could do was smile and hug me. "I thought you would never ask me that Leo. Of course I would have a child with you."

"Really?" I asked as I embraced her.

"Of course Leo. I love you very much and I would do anything to make you happy." she embraces me back.

I smiled and gently sat her down on my lap, feeling very happy that my lovely mermaid made me happy. I sighed sweetly into her chest where I can hear her murmuring heart beating for me. "Thank you." I whispered.

"You're welcome." she whispered back. "I love you Blue Eyes."

"And I love you too Angel Eyes." I hummed softly into her warming touch.
