~The next morning in Aika's Perspective~

I was nuzzling into something warm and toasty, I caused me to purr a little in my sleep. 'Kemochi~' I said it in my head as I nuzzled into the mysterious warmth.

After I woke up, I felt something or someone breathing under me. "W-Where am I?" I said to myself as I sat up. I looked down to see that I was on top of Middy! I blushed as red as a tomato to see that Middy was asleep and that I was awake and was on top of him.

'W-What am I doing on top of him?!' I said to myself. 'I-I better t-try to g-get off of him... before he w-wakes up in a weird way.' I said to myself as I carefully try to get off of him.

"Mmm..." Middy started to stir. But then he hugged me down to his plastron again and was mumbling in his sleep. "P-Please be okay... my queen..."

"H-Huh?" I blushed more red as I heard Middy mumbling.

"Please be okay..." he mumbled softly.

"Middy..." I whispered his name.

"P-Please d-don't leave me!" he hugged me tighter.

"M-Middy, wake up." I shook his head.

Just then, he leaned towards me and planted a kiss on my forehead. I blushed a super wild red color after he gave me that forehead kiss.

"I-I-I love you..." he mumbled out the 3 words.

'H-He what..?' I gasped at what he said. I didn't know if it was true or not.

"I love you... so so much..."

"M-Middy... Wake up." I said as I gently pat his cheeks with my hands.

~Middy's Perspective~

As I was dreaming about confessing my love to Aika Chan, I felt some warm hands on my cheeks. "Mmm... Mmm..?" I hummed as I started to open my eyes. After I opened them, Aika was on top of me and gave away a small smile.

"Hey." she said softly.

I gasped. "Aika!" I hugged her. "You're okay! Thank god."

"H-Hai. Gomen nasai." she blushed.

"It's okay Aika. I'm just really happy that you're okay. I was worried sick."

"I'm okay." she said. "U-Um Middy..?"

"Yes Aika?"

"Y-You were talking in your sleep."

"I was?" I asked her.

"Yes."

"What did I say?"

"Y-You said that... y-you love me."

I gasped a bit. 'Oh no, she's figured out my secret!' I said to myself.

"Is it true?" she asked me.

I blushed. "What? No no no! I didn't say that!" I said, trying to cover it up.

"You said those 3 words and you kissed my forehead."

"No I didn't. I swear."

"You did..."

I didn't know what to say next. But I felt a lot of heat going into my cheeks.

Aika's ears drooped. "So... you don't love me..?" she said as she got off of me and sat on the edge of my bed, feeling disappointed.

'I would have to tell her anyway. Since I mumbled my darkest secret to her. It can't be contained anymore, I have to tell her right now. From my heart and soul.' I said to myself as I got up and got on my knees in front of her. "Aika..."

"What is it you want?" she said, saying it in disappointment.

"Aika. I do love you. It's just that... that I-I'm..." I sighed and looked away from her, knowing that I couldn't confess to her in person like it was in my dream. "I'm just so god damn shy... I know you wouldn't like to be with a shy man like me..." I said sadly.

As I was dwelling into my failure for confessing to Aika, I felt her warm hands on my cheeks which made me look up at her. "Hey, I'm shy too. But I understand how you feel." she said it with a smile.

"I really wanted to tell you. Ninja's honesty." I said feeling worried.

"Well, I already know that you love me."

"You do?"

"Yeah. From when you first rescued me until right now. You've always been by my side, more than anyone else. And the promises that you made with me, were never broken. Even that one promise that you said that you would protect and care for me. That made me wonder a lot of things about you."

"What was it?"

"I was thinking, that if you loved me." she smiled sweetly.

"I do. I do love you. From the bottom of my heart. I was in love with you ever since we've first met." I blushed.

She smiled and kissed the top of my forehead. Then she pulled away with a smile on her face. "I love you too Midnight Hamato."

I blushed and stood up, kissing the top of her forehead and then kissing her hand before I started to bring her into a hug. "Thank you god." I said.

Just for a few minutes, Aika and I were hugging. And I wanted this hug to last a lifetime. But I had to pull away to ask her a question. "Aika?"

"Yeah Middy?"

"Will you be my queen?" I blushed.

She giggled and flashed a smile as she blushed a light red. "I would be honored to be your queen, my brave knight."

I smiled and kept hugging her, knowing that we were now a couple. Me, as a ninja of the Hamato Clan to protect Aika, the queen of the Sakura Forest.

~Aika's Perspective~

As Middy and I were still hugging after our confessions, I pulled away and looked into his blue eyes. He looked down at me to look into my eyes and then he started to lean in slowly. I blushed and started to get on my tip toes, leaning my face towards him.

'Oh my god. This is it, my first kiss. And I'm getting closer... and closer...' I said in my mind as I was really close to kissing Middy.

Just then, the door was swung open. Then Mikey popped in. "Hey Middy!" he said.

"Eek!" I shrieked.

Middy gasped and pulled me close. "Uncle Mikey! Get out of my room!!" he said as he squeezed me closer to his plastron.

"Ohh!" Mikey blushed. "S-Sorry lover turtle." he chuckled.

Middy growled and started to throw ninja stars at Mikey. "GET OUT OF MY ROOM!!!" he hisses at him.

"Alright alright, I'm going!" he said as he left, leaving the door open.

Then middy looked down at me and sighed. "Damn. I hate it when my uncles tease me."

I laughed a bit. "It means that they care about you."

He chuckled. "Heh. Yeah, I guess they do." he flashed a smile and picked me up, hugging me. "I'm just so glad that I found you." he nuzzled my cheek.

"Me too." I purred as I hugged him.
