~The next 6 weeks later in Aika's Perspective~

Ever since the terrible event, I wasn't able to get enough sleep. I was so scared of what would've happened to Splinter, I didn't think straight. I looked at Middy nervously and I could tell that he was worried too. "M-Middy..." I started.

Middy held my paws gently and kisses them. "Splinter's okay. You just need to relax and calm down." he said as he rubbed my paws.

"Maybe you're right." In my thoughts, I could remember the stabbing and the screams of last night which still made me feel really scared.

"Middy, Aika, we're going to see Karai at the hospital, wanna come?" Leo said holding his future wife like a princess. "We're gonna be out of the lair so Aquaria and Johnathan could care for Splinter."

"Umm sure." I nodded. "I need to get my mind off of last night."

"We do too. Right babe?" Leo asked his fiancée.

Aqua nodded slowly as she looked at her now castless leg she healed from after the attack.

"Is she okay Leo?" I asked him.

"She's fully healed from the fall she cushioned for Splinter physically. But Donnie thinks that she's not healed mentally or emotionally."

"It's most likely PTSD she's suffering from at this moment." Donnie said.

"Post Traumatic Stress Disorder." Midnight said the meaning of the word.

"Yes. She's been getting a lot of nightmares since the Shredder incident happened and not getting enough sleep at night. Getting aggravated at some things or us around her. Being scared of the knives and swords. And most of the time being completely silent as if she can't speak at all. But yeah, this is something that she needs help with." Donnie said as he was getting the Shell Razor ready.

"She's been super quiet today." Leo said. "Are you okay honey?" he asked her.

All she did was a simple nod, but she still didn't speak.

"Aww sis." I said as I rubbed her paw. "You're gonna be okay. I know you were very scared that day that the Shredder almost killed Sensei. But he's recovered from it just fine, and we all have you to thank for it."

Aqua held my paw back and looked back down at her leg.

"Maybe she's still scared for Splinter that day." Middy said.

"I think you're right. But she'll be fine. Maybe she'll feel a little better on the way to the hospital." Leo said as he planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Okay Leo, we're ready." Donnie said as he was with Raph and Mikey.

"April and Casey will help with Jimena and the babies while John and Aquaria take care of Splinter." Raph said.

"Okay gang. Let's move out." Leo said as he went into the Shell Razor.

I followed him inside with Middy and the rest of the gang. And we drove off, on our way to the hospital to check up on Karai.

~Later in Karai's Perspective~

As I was waking up in my hospital bed, I saw all of my mutant family members there.

"Hey Karai." they all said.

"Hey guys." I smiled weakly.

"Wow, you've seen better days, that's for sure." Raph said.

"I could take you, Raph. Heck, even with a broken arm." I chuckled.

"How are you doing, Karai?" Aika asked me.

"I'm okay tiger girl." I said as I looked up to the ceiling. "I had a dream that Splinter's gone."

"No he's okay now. He's been paralyzed from the fall and the stabbing. But he's doing much better now." Donnie explained.

"I'm glad." I gave off a weak smile.

"Karai listen, um... Shredder is still alive. Slash told us that you know where his lair is." Leo said.

"I wanted to help bring him down." I said.

"We need to know, Karai, before Super Shredder comes after you."

"Or April's dad." Mikey said.

"Or Casey's family." Raph said as well.

"Or my family." Donnie said too.

"Or my family as well." Leo said also as he hugs Aqua who was very quiet still.

"The mansion is in the forest. It's 20 miles north of here. And guys?" I held Aqua's paw. "Give Shredder a couple of hits from me."

Aqua nodded slowly and held my hand back in return.

As I held her paw, I could feel it shaking with fear. I could tell that the wolf mama was especially worried about everything going on. And I couldn't blame her, I was scared as well. "Don't worry Aqua. You and everyone else will be safe once the Shredder is gone for good. I promise."

She nodded and gripped my hand tighter as it was still trembling.

~Later on back in Aika's Perspective~

As we went back in the lair, Leo called in our meeting for the Shredder's forest mansion lair.

"Okay guys listen up. Based on Karai's intel, Shredder has a secret mansion in the middle of the woods right here. It's heavily fortified, and there are traps and Footbots everywhere. We'll have to keep on our toes."

"Some of us only have three toes, so, I hope that's cool." Mikey looked at his stubby toes.

"Eh, five toes are way doper." Casey said.

"What if we had six? Ugh! Hey!" Mikey stuck his tongue out.

"Let's take Shredder down." Raph said.

"Booyakasha!" we all said it.

After the meeting was over, we were all getting ready in our dark black gear. I was trying to figure out what to wear until I heard waddling noises. I looked down to see Bart clinging onto my leg. "Aww, what's up little man?"

"Mama sad." Bart said.

"Oh dear." I picked Bart up and went to the kitchen to see Aqua hugging Leo tightly, looking very devastated. "What happened?"

"She was about to make something to eat until she took out the knife from the kitchen drawer. Then she called me for help and I saw her trembling in fear. This is getting bad here Aika."

"Her PTSD is making her like this. Don't worry Leo. Once we're done with the Shredder, we're going to do all we can to help out your wife." I said.

"Okay." he nodded and took Aqua to bed as she was still trembling.

"Mama okay auntie?" Bart asked me.

"Don't worry my small turtle nephew, your mama will be okay. I promise." I said as I nuzzled him with my cheek and he was nuzzling me in return. In my mind, I hoped that everything goes back to normal very soon.
