~The next night~

Today was just me and Aqua with her kids. The grown ups were at Moonstone Isle to meditate while the others went on patrol. I looked over at Aqua who was feeding Bart. I smiled to see that he liked the mashed bananas I made.

(Mashed bananas)

"Say ahh." Aqua said to Bart.

"Ahh." Bart said as he opened his mouth and ate the spoonful while giggling.

"Good boy."

I giggled at them and they both turned to look at me. I gasped and blushed a bit.

"What's so funny?" Aqua asked me.

"Nothing."

"Are you sure? You're blushing."

"Well... umm..." I trailed off. "I just like watching your kids eat."

"Aww really?"

"Yeah."

"If you want, you can feed Dreamer for me since everyone is out."

"Okay." I walked over to Dreamer who was sucking on her paw. It made me laugh as I grabbed her bib and secured it. "There you go." I said to Dreamer as she giggled while she poked my nose.

"Hey." I giggled.

"She likes to do that to me a lot." Aqua smiled as she licked Bart's face all clean.

I smiled and picked up a scoopful of the mashed bananas I made. "Here Dreamer. Yummy food." I said as I going to feed it to her.

"Ehh." Dreamer said as she turned her head.

"Come on Dreamer. It's yummy." I said as I tried to feed it to her again.

"Ehh." she did it again as she turned her head.

"Try making airplane noises. She likes that." Aqua smiled as she did the dishes.

"Okay. Thanks sis." I looked back at the baby wolf pup. "Here comes the airplane. Whoo." I said as I made airplane noises as she opened her mouth and ate it.

"It worked!" I giggled and kept feeding Dreamer.

~A while later~

As I cleaned up the mess in the kitchen, Dreamer and I were both watching tv together. "Hey Dreamer. Do you like Yo Gabba Gabba?"

(Yo Gabba Gabba)

"Ga." she answered me as she giggled and pointed at Plex the yellow robot.

"That's Plex. He's a magical robot."

"Pex." she giggled as she was sucking on her thumb.

I giggled and watched the episode with Dreamer as she was in her playpen. Just then, I heard Aqua walking in with Bart who was drinking a bottle of strawberry milk.

"Hey sis. How are you and my daughter?" she asked as she laid Bart down in the playpen and sat on the beanbag chair next to me.

"We're good. We're just watching Yo Gabba Gabba."

She giggled. "They love this show a lot. I was thinking about doing a birthday party with Yo Gabba Gabba. It's going to be their very first birthday soon."

"Oh cool. I think you should do that." I smiled.

"Yeah. And maybe one of us has to be one of the characters. It could be either Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee, or Plex."

"I would be Foofa. She's pink and happy." I smiled while giggling.

"And I'm Toodee, she likes to have fun. Like me." Aqua smiled.

"Auntie! Auntie!" Dreamer called.

"Aww. I think my daughter wants you Aika."

"She does?" I asked as I went to the playpen to see that Dreamer was wagging her tail as she raised her arms up high. "Well, she does." I smiled as I picked her up.

"Auntie." Dreamer smiled as she poked my nose.

I giggled and poked her nose back. "That should be our new game. Nose Poke War."

"Boo." Dreamer said as she poked my nose again.

"Boop." I smiled.

Aqua laughed as she gave me a bottle of strawberry milk to feed Dreamer with. "She must really like you since the first time we've met you Aika."

"I think I like her back too." I smiled and nuzzled her.

Dreamer purred as she nuzzled me back and wagged her tail. "Auntie." she yawned as she stretched her little arms.

"Aww. Someone's ready to go beddy bye." I smiled as I started to cradle her.

"Yeah. It's pretty late." Aqua said as she tucked Bart in who was already asleep in the playpen while taking the bottle that was still in his hand. "Good night my son." she kissed his cheek and came back up.

As Dreamer suckled onto the strawberry milk, I started to sing a little song to her as she was feeding on the bottle. It was the song that Aqua taught me that her mother sung to her when she was a pup. As I was singing the song to her, the pink music notes started floating up in the air. The song also gave me memories about my mother and my father who I've never met since I was born. As I finished singing, Dreamer fell asleep and I've laid her next to her slumbering brother Bart and tucked her in. "Good night Dreamer."

"You did a good job taking care of my daughter Aika. I thank you for helping me." Aqua said.

"You're welcome..." I said as I sadly walked to the couch and sighed as I wrapped myself with the blanket.

"You okay?" Aqua said as she sat down next to me and hugged me.

"Not really. I miss my mom and dad."

"I know how that is. But they would be very proud of you that you've got us. As your friends and your family. And maybe even more proud that you're dating Midnight."

"Yeah. Maybe. If only I was able to see my father. I wanted to know what he looked like."

"Well I'm sure he was a brave merman to be your father."

"The bravest one in my family."

"Your mother was brave too. She protected you and herself from any danger while you were still inside her time. But to make a sacrifice for the merpeople of Atlantica."

"I wish I would spend more time with her and my father." I looked down.

"Yeah. If only, unless..." Aqua said. "I could share my mom and dad with you."

My ears perked up. "Would you really wanna share your parents with me?"

"Of course. Since you're a part of us."

My tears were running down my cheeks in pure happiness and I hugged her tight. "Thank you Aqua!"

"You're welcome Aika." Aqua smiled as she hugged me.

"Thank you... Thank you so much..." I said as I dozed off to sleep with my big sister hugging me close. I was so happy. So, so happy that I have a family to be with until the end.
