A few days later at Starswirl Academy, in the Fashion Program Classroom, Maya and Wallflower are both with Rarity, Twilight, and Pinkie Pie trying to help Rarity with some of the new designs that she have designed. After they all help Rarity, Rarity have smiled at her friends.

"Thank you so much for helping me out girls, I have to say, trying to organize some new design clothes that I just made can be very hard work." Said Rarity as she smiles.

"You're welcome Rarity, we are very happy that we can help you." Said Pinkie Pie as she smiles." We have no idea that you made great designs."

"Yeah, it really looks like you made design depending on the true nature you see in your eyes." Said Twilight as she smiles." I'm starting to like them."

"Yeah, I especially like this dress, the one with the flower blossoms, they really represent the beauty of flowers." Said Wallflower as she smiles.

But apparently Maya wasn't listening to anything what her friends are saying, instead she was thinking about Marcus, and whenever she thinks about him, she have started to blush like crazy. Then Pinkie Pie have saw Maya looking like she feels hot.

"Maya. . . Maya. . ." Said Pinkie Pie as she tried to get Maya's attention." MAYA!"

"Oh sorry Pinkie Pie, you were saying something to me?" Asked Maya as she snapped out of her mind.

"Are you alright darling, you have been acting really strange lately ever since we have introduced you to our new friends." Said Rarity as she looks at Maya.

"Yeah and every time you are near Marcus, you have been acting weird lately." Said Wallflower as she looks at Maya.

Then when Wallflower have mention that, it got Twilight to think that maybe Maya May have a crush on Marcus Gonzalez, and it got her to get really shock.

"Wait a minute, Maya do you have a crush on Marcus Gonzalez?" Asked Twilight in shock.

"What makes you think that?" Asked Maya looking a bit embarrassing.

"You have been acting very strange lately every time we hang out with the Purple Vipers." Said Pinkie Pie as she explains." And you always blush when you saw Marcus."

"So, do you have a crush on Marcus?" Asked Twilight as she looks at Maya.

"I don't know guys, I mean I haven't still forgotten my old boyfriend yet ever since he died, and I still love him." Said Maya looking sad.

You see, Maya had a boyfriend name Jacob and she have loved him with all her heart. But one day, when they were on their date, they were ambush by some mysterious ninjas, and Jacob told Maya to run, and when she did, Jacob have died by sacrificing himself.

"We know how much you love your boyfriend Maya, but if you keep holding that on, it will only hurt you more." Said Twilight as she looks at Maya.

"I know girls, it's just it's really hard to move on." Said Maya looking so sad.

Then the girls have started to see how sad Maya is about thinking about her old boyfriend Jacob, then Twilight have though that maybe Maya should get some fresh air to calm her mind.

"You know Maya, how about you go take a breath and get some fresh airs." Said Twilight as she looks at Maya." Maybe that might help you clear your mind."

"Well, now that I think about it, I could you use some fresh air." Said Maya as she thank the girls.

So Maya started to go outside of the school, and then she started to take a walk around the city to explore a bit. Meanwhile back in the Purple Viper's hideout, the Purple Viper's were all doing their normal activities.

Slash was lifting up some weight with Leatherhead, Jack is watching some tv, Carrie is reading a girls magazine, Thomas and Oliver are both have a arm wrestle, Ophelia is drawing down a sketch, and Marcus was trying to cook something and making sure that it's delicious.

They were all focusing doing their own activities but apparently out of all the Purple Vipers, Marcus wasn't actually focusing at all.

You see Marcus was still thinking about Maya. Ever since he, his friends, and the Hamato siblings have met the girls, he started to grow feelings for Maya. I mean, it's not everyday that Marcus have met a girl that caught his eyes, but Maya is one girl that Marcus can't get his mind off.

'Oh man, Maya is just the most beautiful girl I have ever met in my whole life.' Thought Marcus as he was still thinking about Maya.' I mean, her hair shines so brightly, her clothes are really stylish, her eyes sparkle like a million jewels, the way that her smile does makes me blush.'

Apparently Marcus was so distracted that apparently he wasn't paying attention to to cooking he was cooking, that it started burn up like crazy, and the other members of sniff that something is burning, and they see that the food is getting burned.

"Oh god Marcus, the food is burning" Said Slash in shock.

That got Marcus to snap out of his thoughts, then tried to put out the fire in the food, then he started to take it to the sink, and puts out the fire in the food. Then the other Purple Vipers have see how distracted Marcus is, and it got them very curious.

"Uh Marcus, are you okay?" Asked Leatherhead looking confused.

"Ugh, I'm okay you guys, I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, and I kinda think I burned our dinner." Said Marcus as he look at the burn food.

"Man Marcus, usually you are always so clumsy on making food because you are distracted, but right now you are really distracted in a different way." Said Ophelia as she raised her eyebrow." What's got you really distracted today?"

"I really don't know." Said Marcus as he lied a bit.' I can't let them know about my crush with Maya.'

"Hmm, Marcus I think is best that you should take a break and maybe get some fresh air." Said Slash as he looks at Marcus." And maybe we can order a pizza for dinner."

"Maybe your right Slash, I guess I do need some fresh air anyway." Said Marcus as he look at his friends." And better yet, maybe tried to find a cookbook so I can cook better."

So Marcus have started to grab his leather jacket, then he started to put it on, and started to go for a walk. As he left, Slash have started to look at his friends and started to talk.

"Okay guys, something is really wrong with Marcus, he is usually distracted by cooking, but this time, this seem like a different kind of distraction." Said Slash as he look confused.

"Um, I don't mean to sound really rude and all, but has anybody else noticed that Marcus has been a little off lately?" Asked Carrie as she looks at her friends.

"Now that you mention it, a few days ago, I saw him keep walking by Starswirl Academy every single time when school is over." Said Jack as he explains." Like he is waiting for somebody to come out of the school."

"A week ago, I saw him keep passing by the flower shop." Said Ophelia as she explains." And it seems like he was looking for a perfect flower to give to somebody!"

"You think that's weird, the other day, I saw him writing down some sorta notes and made this lovey face!" Said Thomas as he explains." And when he left, I check the notes and they were like poems about Maya!"

"Yeah, I mean ever since the girls have introduced us to their other friends, Marcus has always been looking and keep thinking about Maya." Said Carrie as he look confused.

"Guys, I think I believe that Marcus might have a crush on Maya." Said Slash as he look at his friends.

"Maybe, I mean let's be really honest here you guys, Marcus has never been out on a date since his girlfriend Jessica died." Said Thomas as he looks at his friends.

Then outside the of the streets, Maya was walking down the streets, trying to get some fresh air. Meanwhile at the other side of the sidewalk, Marcus was walking down the sidewalk and he wasn't looking where he was going and she bump into Marcus.

"Oh my god, Maya I'm so very sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." Said Marcus as he panic a bit.

"Oh no that's okay, I wasn't looking where I was going either Marcus." Said Maya as she smiles and she started to look at Marcus." It's really great to see you, what are you doing?"

"I was just walking down the streets to get some fresh air and clear my mind." Said Marcus as he smiles at Maya." I see that you like to walk around the city Maya."

"Yeah apparently I was helping my friend Rarity with one of her new designs she made and they thought that I might need some fresh air." Said Maya as she smiles." And they are right because I have helping them a lot lately and I do need to explore the city a bit."

"Oh I know how that feels, sometimes I usually try to cook some food, and they usually ended up getting burned, and I happen to get distracted sometimes." Said Marcus as he looks at Maya.

Then Maya looked at Marcus and she started to see the muscles through his shirt and she started to blush at how handsome he is and then she shake her head and then she looks at Maya.

"Say Marcus, since we bump into each other, do you want to hangout with me?" Asked Maya as she smiles at Marcus.

As soon as Maya have said that, it causes Marcus to blush really red. No girl has ever ask him to hangout with him because of his appearance and how he acts but Maya was the first girl that ask him to hangout with her and then he smiled.

"Sure Maya, I would like to hangout with you." Said Marcus as he smiles.

That got Maya to smile, then she and Marcus have both started to walk down the sidewalk of the city, then they started to go to a rooftop and they started to hangout. As Marcus and Maya are hanging out at the rooftops, they both have started to talk about their life's.

"So Maya, why don't you tell me about yourself and about your life?" Asked Marcus as he smiles.

"Okay, I'm from Canterlot City, I met the girls when I was in middle school, I like to take pictures for the yearbook." Said Maya as she smiles. "I'm from the Yearbook Program, I'm good at taking pictures, doing math, and language art."

"Wow, that is so cool Maya." Said Marcus as he smiles.

"So what about you Marcus, tell me something about your life." Said Maya as she smiles.

"Oh well, before I met Slash, Leatherhead, and the Hamato sibling along with their friends, me, Thomas, Jack, Carrie, and Ophelia use to be members of the Purple Dragons, but the truth is that we never like it." Said Marcus as he look a bit upset.

"Oh, what happen back then?" Asked Maya as she looks at Marcus.

"The truth is, before the Purple Dragons forced me and my friends to become members of their gangs, I use to have a girlfriend name Jessica, I really loved her with all my heart, we use to do everything together." Said Marcus as he explains." Until one night, the Purple Dragons have came out of nowhere while me, my girlfriend, and friends were hanging out, they killed Jessica right in front of me and my friends, and force us to be their new members."

"Oh my god, I'm so very sorry Marcus, that is so horrible." Said Maya feeling bad for Marcus.

"It was really hard for me and my friends to listen to Hun and the other Purple Dragons every single day." Said Leatherhead." Then one day, me, Slash, Leatherhead, Oliver, and the Hamato siblings have stop the Purple Dragons from trying to rob a bank and put them in jail. That's when we met them, we became friends with them, and Slash became our leader, and we have become the Purple Vipers."

"Wow, that is so cool, it must be kinda cool to be in a street gang." Said Maya as she smiles.

"It might be kinda fun but it can be a big responsibility to try to stop bad street gangs and save many people." Said Marcus as he looks at the sky." It's kinda exhausting when we have so many responsibilities."

"I'm sorry about your girlfriend Marcus and I really know how it feels to lose someone you love so much." Said Maya as she looks so sad.

"You do?" Asked Marcus in shock.

"Yes, the truth is that I use to have a boyfriend, his name is Jacob, he was like the most amazing guy I have ever met." Said Juniper as she looks at Leatherhead." We always like to do stuff together."

"Wow, that's really great." Said Marcus as he smiles.

"It was easy, but then ever since I went to Starswirl Academy, I have been a bit stressed out lately." Said Juniper as she look tired." I mean I have to study, I have to get everything ready for the big play, and get every props organized."

Then Marcus started to see that Maya looks really Said and depressed that she have lost the boy she have ever loved and he felt bad for her. Then he started to take Maya's hands which causes her to look at Marcus.

"Maya, I understand that it hurts to lose someone you love, but apparently I heard that it will only hurt more if you keeping holding that person to your heart." Said Marcus as he looks at Maya." It doesn't really help with your heart."

"But what about you Marcus?" Asked Maya as she looks at Marcus." You said that you really miss your girlfriend, and you still love her."

"Well, you know something Maya, some times it is hard to let go of someone you love, but my friends always said that we can rewrite the stars." Said Marcus as he smiles at Maya."
So in my case, we can at least rewrite the stars together."

Then as soon as Marcus have said it to Maya, all of a sudden, music have began to play, and then Marcus have began to sing.

"Wow Marcus, that was an amazing song that we did." Said Juniper as she smiles." Thank you, I feel better now."

"Your welcome Maya, sometimes it's hard to let go pf someone you love so much." Said Marcus as he smiles." But I know that Jessica wanted me to be happy and not sad and wants me to find someone to be with."

"I guess you are right, and by the way, you sing really amazing." Said Maya as she smiles." How come you never told anyone that you can sing?"

"Oh well, it was a bit of my secret talent, and I never told anyone about it." Said Marcus as he blushes a bit.

"Well Maya , I say that you have a really wonderful voice and I should say that you shouldn't hide it and try it more often." Said Maya as she smiles.

"Gee thank you Maya that's very sweet of you to say." Said Marcus as he smiles and blush a bit." Say it is getting a bit late, and sometimes many bad guys can attack anyone. Why don't I take you back to your school?"

"Sure Marcus, I would really love that." Said Maya as she smiles a bit.

So Marcus have started to take Maya back to her school since it was getting a bit late. Then as they have arrived at Starswirl Academy Maya and Marcus have started to say goodbye to each other.

"Thank you Maya for asking me to hangout with you today." Said Marcus as he smiles at Maya." I really had so much fun with you today and it help me get to know you so much more."

"Your welcome Marcus, I just really wanted to get to know you more to since when you and your friends came Starswirl Academy to help the girls." Said Maya as she smiles." Say do you want to hangout with me when you have time?"

"Sure Maya I would love to hangout with you when I have time." Said Marcus as he smiles as he gives Maya his phone number." Here's my phone number in case if you want to call me."

"Thank you Marcus, and here is also my phone number of you want to call me." Said Maya as she smiles and gives Marcus her phone number." Well I better get back inside so I can get everything ready."

"Yeah I need to get back home Slash is ordering some pizza." Said Marcus as he smiles." I'll see you tomorrow Maya."

"Okay see you tomorrow Marcus." Said Maya as she smiles at Marcus.

Then as soon as Maya was about to go inside to her dorm room, she did something that Marcus never have expect any girl do. Maya started to lean to Marcus and kissed him on the cheek and Marcus blush really red. Then Maya started to go inside her dorm leaving Marcus alone.

"I can't believe it, Maya have kissed me at the cheek, not any girl has ever do that to me." Said Marcus as he touch his cheek and blush." Man I am so lucky right now."

So Marcus have started to go back to his home while he still have his hand touch his cheek where Maya have kissed him and blush really red. Then as Marcus have continued to walk back home, little did that Maya and Marcus know is that they might realized that maybe in the future the could be more than just friends.
