A few days went by, and Casey Jones apartment, he is sitting down at the table eating lunch with a man and a little girl with him. Then man next to him has dark brown hair, has brown eyes, he wears a police shirt with a tie around his neck, has dark blue jeans on, a black belt around his waist, and black shoes on. He name is Charlie Jones and he is Casey Jones father.

The girl at the other side of the table is around 11 years old, has short black hair, chocolate brown eyes, she wears a red shirt, a pink mini vest on, purple skirt on, and has black boots on. Her name is Chloe Jones and she is Casey's sister and Charlie's daughter.

"So Casey, how was school today son?" Asked Charlie as he smiles at his son.

"It was good, I got a B+ on my trigonometry test today." Said Casey as he smiles.

"Ah yes, I saw your grades and you are getting really good at it my son." Said Charlie as he smiles." And what about you Chloe, how was school today baby girl?"

"I had a fight with my boyfriend." Said Chloe and Charlie spit out his drink.

"Boyfriend?" Asked Charlie in shock.

"Hello daddy, I'm like 11 right now." Said Chloe as she rolled her eyes.

"Heaven help me." Said Charlie as he look up.

"So Casey, I heard that your school had made a welcome party for this new school that just move here." Said Chloe as she smiles at her brother.

"Oh yeah, the new school is called Starswirl Academy, one of my friends told me that it's one of the most high quality schools ever." Said Casey as he smiles." There are one of the most smartest students there, I happen to meet one of them."

"Oh cool, what's his name big bro?" Asked Chloe as she smiles.

"Actually little sister, it's a she that I met." Said Casey as he blush a bit.

"Oh really my son, then what is her name?" Ask Charlie as he smiles.

"Her name is Applejack, and she is the honest one of her friends." Said Casey as he explains." She's from the cooking program of her school, she's really good at personal finance, math, and cooking class, she came from out of town where her family owns their own Apple farm. They supply the school with their freshly picked apples."

"Wow, that is so cool Casey, and from the way you describe her, I'm guessing that she is a cowgirl, right?" Asked Chloe.

"Yeah, she is a cowgirl, and I have to admit that she really caught my eyes." Said Casey as he smiles.

"I see that my son has finally got his first ever crush on a girl." Said Charlie as he smiles." And not just any girl, you have a crush on a country girl."

"Dad!" Said Casey as he blush like crazy.

"Oh come on now Casey, I'm only teasing you, that's all." Said Charlie as he smiles." But seriously son, you really to have a girlfriend, you know your mother always wanted to have a girlfriend and she always dreams of it."

That got Casey to think of it and realize that his dad is right. When Casey was just a little boy and when his mother is alive, he always wanted to find his dream girl just like his dad did when he met his mom, and his mother would always tell him that it will as long as he follows his heart.

"I really miss mom so much." Said Casey as he felt a bit sad.

"Yeah, I miss mommy too, I really wish we could see her again." Said Chloe as she felt sad.

"I know my kids, I miss your mother too, I think about her everyday." Said Charlie as he looks at his kids." But she's gone now, but she will still be in our hearts."

That got Casey and Chloe to smile at their dad. Then as Casey finished his lunch, he took his plate and wash it on the kitchen. Then as his finish, he look outside the window and saw that it was great to play hockey and grab his hockey stick.

"Hey dad, I'm going out to play a bit of hockey." Said Casey as he looks at his dad.

"Okay Casey, be back home soon, and please be careful, you know that there are still some street gangs out there." Said Charlie as he looks at his son.

"I will dad." Said Casey as he smiles.

Then Casey have started to head to the ice rink to play some hockey. Meanwhile at the streets, Applejack was walking down the sidewalk exploring New York for a bit and she was impressed by all the buildings and food place as she smiles.

"Well I'll be, this city here is really pretty, and I have to say that all the food smells delicious." Said Applejack as she smiles.

Then as Applejack kept on walking, she saw a little girl with her parents looking really happy and walking together. then Applejack have started to remember about her parents and started to miss them very much and wish that they were here with her and her little sister to see how much they have accomplished.

"I really miss you mom and dad, I really wish you could be here with me and Applebloom." Said Applejack as she started to feel a bit sad.

Then all of a sudden, Applejack have started to hear some noises from the ice rink and started to go inside to see who is in it. As she arrived went inside the ice rink, she saw Casey skating and hits a hockey puck and swing it and it went into the net, which got Applejack to be really impress.

"Wow, nice shot there Jones, I think I should give you 10 points for that!" Said Applejack as she smirks.

"Oh hey there Applejack." Said Casey as he skates to her." I didn't really see you there, what are you doing?"

"Well I was exploring a bit around the city for a bit and then when I heard some noises in the ice rink, I decided to go inside." Said Applejack as she smiles." And then I saw you play a bit of hockey, and I have to say, you are really good at that kind of sports."

"Guess you can't resist the awesomeness of Casey Jones huh?" Said Casey as he smirks.

"Man, are you always this cocky there Jones?" Asked Applejack as she smirk at him.

"And are you always this serious Applejack?" Asked Casey as he smirk as well.

"Only when I'm in a good mood there Jones!" Said Applejack as she still smirk a bit." So you're a hockey player Casey?"

"Yeah, in Roosevelt High School, we have hockey for a sport." Said Casey as he smiles." I'm in a hockey team and I'm one of the greatest hockey players ever in the world!"

"Man, you were are that cocky sometimes Casey, a good kind of cocky I mean." Said Applejack as she smiles at him." We have other sports but hockey in our school, but if we do have hockey you could be the captain cause you are really great hockey player."

That got Casey to blush a bit and scratch the back of his head a bit. Then Casey started to ask Applejack if she wants to hangout with him for a bit and Applejack said yes and they started to talk about their life.

"So you and your family are farmers and you planted apples ever since your grandmother made the apple farm?" Asked Casey in surprise.

"Yeah, my family have been working in the farm for many generations and it's always a tradition to farm many apples." Said Applejack as she smiles.

"Man, that is so cool Applejack, it must be great to be a cowgirl in a farm with your family." Said Casey as he smiles.

"It sure does Casey, so what about you Casey, you must really like to play hockey." Said Applejack as she smiles.

"Yeah, when I was 6 years old, my dad took me to this hockey game, and I was really fond with the sport." Said Casey as he smiles." So I decided that I want to play hockey, so I practice skating and then I started to get better at it."

"Wow Jones, you are really a natural." Said Applejack as she smiles.

"Then one day, I started to play a bit of hockey and then I have started to get really good at it." Said Casey as he smiles." Ever since then, I decided to tryout for the hockey team in Roosevelt High School and I became the greatest player ever."

"Wow Casey, that's really great, you must be really great at hockey." Said Applejack as she smiles.

That got Casey to blush really red that Applejack have said something really nice to him and that no girl has ever said anything nice to him. Then Casey realized that he has extra pair of skates and had an idea on how to hangout with Applejack more before they she goes back to Starswirl Academy and before he goes back home.

"Hey Applejack, you want to ice skate with me?" Asked Casey and that got Applejack to get shock and nervous.

"Oh, I don't know if I can to Casey." Said Applejack as she felt nervous." I never skate in my life before in my home when I was little."

"Don't worry Applejack, I'll help you teach how to skate." Said Casey as he smiles.

That got Applejack to smile at him. So she grab the pair of skates from Casey and started to put them on. Then as she finished putting them on, she started to go the rink and wobble for a bit but Casey got her hand.

"That's good Applejack, now you just push one foot gently and push the other one and it will slide you down the ice." Said Casey as he smiles." Try it out."

"Okay, here I go." Said Applejack as she took a deep breath.

So Casey let go of Applejack's hand and Applejack started to skate a bit. Then as she follow what Casey said her, she is starting to get the hang of it.

"Hey this isn't so bad at all." Said Applejack as she skates a bit." This is actually kinda fun."

Then all of a sudden, Applejack have started to feel a bit wobbly and then she started to lose her balance.

"Oh no, Casey I thought k I'm starting to lose my balance!" Said Applejack in fear.

"Hang on Applejack, I'm coming!" Said Casey as he skates to her.

Then all of a sudden, Applejack was about to fall on to the ice when Casey came on time and grab her by the waist and help her up. Then their eyes started to look at each other. Chocolate brown eyes look at emerald green eyes and they both blush but then realized what they were doing and snap out of it.

"Um, you okay Applejack?" Asked Casey as he still blush a bit.

"Yeah I'm okay Casey, thanks for helping me." Said Applejack as she blush a bit as well." You know Casey, this is kinda nice, I always wanted to ice skate but never got the chance."

"Well I'm really happy that I can help you how to skate." Said Casey as he smiles.

Then Applejack have started to keep on holding onto Casey till she gets on her balance. Then Casey have started to let go of Applejack and then Applejack try to skate by herself. And to her surprise, she have started to get the hang of it and skate a bit.

"Wow Applejack, you are really getting great at ice skating now." Said Casey as he looks at Applejack." I knew that you will be great at ice skating."

"Gee Casey, that's very nice of you to say to me sugarcube." Said Applejack as she started to smile at him." Thank you for teaching me how to ice skate Casey."

"Your welcome Applejack, I may be a awesome hockey player, but I do like to ice skate sometimes." Said Casey as he smiles.

Then Applejack and Casey have both started to ice skate back to the benchers and started to take of the skates. Then all of a sudden, Applejack's phone have began to ring and Applejack starts to pick it up.

"Oh it's Rainbow Dash, she just send me a text." Said Applejack as she reads the text." She said that she and the others are waiting for me for us to do our band practice."

"Oh I see, dad texted me and he is saying that I need to get back home because I need to look after my sister." Said Casey as he grab his bag." Hey Applejack, do you want to hangout some more next time when we see each other?"

That got Applejack to blush really red when Casey have ask her to hangout with him more often but she have started to smile at him.

"Yeah Casey, I would really love to hangout with you more often." Said Applejack as she smiles." Well I gotta get back to Starswirl Academy, I'll see you later Casey."

"Yeah I gotta get back too, see ya later Applejack." Said Casey as he smiles at Applejack.

So Applejack have started to go back to Starswirl Academy to do her band practice with her friends and Casey started to go back home. As they both go to their separate ways, they both have realized that skating with each other is fun and maybe in the future they will be more than just friends.
