The next day at Starswirl Academy, Applejack was with her little sister Applebloom in clocking class, helping her cooking up some cookies for her next class. As they finished putting in the batter, they put on the oven, and wait for it to get cook.

"Thanks for helping me cook for my cooking class Applejack." Said Applebloom as she smiles.

"Your welcome little sister, I'm always here for you to help." Said Applejack as she smiles.

"So, how do you like New York so far?" Asked Applebloom as she smiles.

"Well to honest little sis, at first I thought I won't like it, but now this city is really amazing!" Said Applejack as she smiles." And the people here are really great."

"That's so cool AJ!" Said Applebloom as she smiles.

Then after an hour later, the cookies were all done, then Applejack have took out the cookies, then she and Applebloom have both started to decorate them. Then after they decorated them, they put them in a box, and started to go hangout with their friends.

Meanwhile in Casey's house, Casey was finishing up his math homework in his room, then after he finished his homework, then as soon as he finished it, he started to put his homework away, and started to leave his room.

Then when Casey was about to go out to get some fresh air, he saw his father on the kitchen with many newspaper, saying that many students have been missing for the past three months.

"Hey there dad, what are you doing?" Asked Casey as he goes to his father.

"Oh, hi there son, I'm still trying to do some research about the missing students that suddenly disappeared." Said Charlie as he looks at his son.

"Still with that dad, don't you think that maybe these students will just run away?" Asked Casey.

"That's not possible son, these kids have loving parents and they had perfect life's." Said Charlie." They would never just disappear like this."

"You know, come to think of it, how's the chief doing?" Asked Casey.

"Not really good, apparently all the parents have been calling him non stop." Said Charlie as he explains." He's been so stress out that he was thinking he should retire."

"I have no idea he's struggling so much." Said Casey as he understands." By the way, I'm going out to get some fresh air dad."

"Alright son, but remember, be home at 9:00 sharp, you know what's happens when it's 10:00 at night." Said Charlie as he looks at his dad.

"I know dad, and if there is any problem or any criminals going on, I'll call you and the police to get a head start." Said Casey as he explains.

"Good my son." Said Charlie as he smiles.

So Casey have started to go out to get some fresh air as he walks down at the sidewalks. Meanwhile in the park, Applejack was sitting on a bench, as she was playing her bass. While she plays her bass, she look up at the skies and smile.

"Man, the stars are so beautiful tonight, you can't be able to see many beautiful stars like these." Said Applejack as she smiles." Man, New York City is one heck of a city."

Then as Applejack was looking at the stars, she started to think about Casey. She started to blush at how handsome he is to her, she had seen many boys at her home, but Casey was really different from other boys.

"Gosh, Casey Jones is the most interesting boy I have ever met." Said Applejack as she smiles." I mean he is so very different from all the other boys back at home."

Then as she plays her bass, what she didn't know was that Casey was walking down the park, he was just minding his own business, till he saw Applejack sitting all alone with her bass, and he smiles and goes to her.

"Hey there Applejack." Said Casey as he smiles.

"Oh hey there Casey, I didn't know you were here, what are you doing?" Asked Applejack as she smiles.

"I was just walking at the park to get some fresh air." Said Casey as he explains." What are you doing?"

"I was just sitting down playing with my bass." Said Applejack as she smiles.

"Mind I sit with you AJ?" Asked Casey as he smiles.

"Sure." Said Applejack as she smiles.

So Casey started to sit next to Applejack and then they both started to talk and look at the stars. Then as they look at the stars, Casey started to look at the bass and was amazed at how it is.

"Say Applejack, that is the most amazing bass you have." Said Casey as he smiles." Where did you get it."

"Thanks, my dad have gave it to me when I was nine years, he and mom have always helped practice everyday and play for my big brother and little sister." Said Applejack as she smiles but then frowns.

"Applejack, are you okay?" Asked Casey as he looks at Applejack.

"Oh, I'm sorry Casey, it's just that I haven't been able happy lately since my mom and dad pass away." Said Applejack as she felt sad.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Applejack." Said Casey as he felt bad." If it's not a sensitive topic, can I ask what happen to your parents?"

"A bad man break into our house and try to steal some of our money, but an addition to that, my mother and father sacrificed themselves and got killed by that man." Said Applejack as she explains. By that time the police came but my parents died, so my granny took care of us, it was hard for her, but she did her best."

Then when Casey have look at Applejack, he started to see how sad she was, and that he understands how she felt.

"I'm so sorry Applejack, and to tell you the truth, I know how it feels to lose a family member." Said Casey as he looks down at his feet.

"You do?" Asked Applejack in shock.

"You see, I lost my mom when I was 5 years old and when my sister was a baby." Said Casey as he explains.

"Oh sweet apples, I'm so sorry Casey, if it's not really a sore subject, how did your mother died?" Asked Applejack.

"She died of a robbery, my dad raised me and my baby sister ever since." Said Casey as he explains." It was hard for my dad, since he is a police officer, but he does tries his best."

"Wow Casey, I never knew that we both lost a parent." Said Applejack as she looks at Casey.

"Yeah, it's kinda a shock." Said Casey as he looks at Applejack.

Then Casey and Applejack have both started to feel a bit quiet for a moment. Then Casey started to look at Applejack's bass and he started to get an idea to help Applejack to feel better.

"Say Applejack, I was wondering, do you mind if I play a bit with your bass please?" Asked Casey.

"You play the bass?" Asked Applejack in shock.

"Well, not really well, but I will like to give it a try." Said Casey as he smiles.

"Okay, here you go." Said Applejack as she gives Casey her bass.

Then as Casey got the bass, he started to take a deep breath, then he started to play a bit with the bass and started to get really good, then as he keeps on playing, he started to sing.

Then after Casey have finished singing his song, he started to look at Applejack, who was really shock and surprised, and he started to smile at Applejack.

"What do you think Applejack?" Asked Casey as he smiles.

"Wow Casey, that was an amazing song that you have sing." Said Applejack as she sings.

"Thanks, I kinda sing the song, because I wanted to tell you that no matter where you are or how lost you are, I will always find you and help you." Said Casey as he smiles.

"Aw Sugarcube, That's was so sweet of you." Said Applejack as she smiles.

That got Casey to smile at Applejack, then he took out his phone, then he realized that it reads 8:30, he know that his father said that he has to be home at 9:00 sharp, and then he started to look at Applejack.

"Say Applejack, it is getting a bit late, and my dad wanted me to get home at 9:00." Said Casey as he gets up." Say, why don't I take you back to your school?"

"Sure Casey, I would really love that." Said Applejack as she smiles a bit.

So Applejack have started to grab her bass, then Casey have started to take Applejack back to her school since it was getting a bit late. Then as they have arrived at Starswirl Academy Casey and Applejack have started to say goodbye to each other.

"Thank you Casey for hang out with me today and thanks for the song you sing." Said Applejack as she smiles at him." I really had so much fun with you today."

"Your welcome Applejack." Said Casey as he smiles." I better get going now."

"Sure thing Casey, I'll see you tomorrow after school." Said Applejack as she smiles.

Then before Applejack goes inside her dorm room, all of a sudden, she started to do something that Casey never thought she will do. She started to kiss Casey right at the cheeks which causes Casey's eyes widen and he started to blush really red. Then Applejack finished her kiss and giggles at Casey's reaction and then she started to leave the rooftops.

"See ya tomorrow Casey." Said Applejack as she smiles and waves at Casey.

"Uh yeah, see ya tomorrow Applejack." Said Casey as he wave back still blushing and seeing Applejack leave.

So as Casey started to walk back home, he started to smile at how Applejack kiss him right at the cheek and started to dance back home.

"I can't believe, Applejack have kissed me right at the cheek!" Said Casey as he kept on cheering." Man I'm the most luckiest boy in the world, I really wish that I have the courage to tell Applejack how I really feel about her!"

And as Casey goes back to his house, he soon realized that maybe in the future he and Applejack will be more than just friends in the future, and then started to go back home.
