The next day, somewhere far away from New York, is a big city called Canterlot City. Canterlot City has rows and columns of houses, cafes, a movie theater, many buildings, many intersecting roads, great schools, has a camping site right next to the city, a camp site at a forest, and a river that runs through on one side.

A few blocks away, some students are entering a school. But this is no ordinary school, the school is called, Starswirl Academy. It's a very honorable school for many gifted and talented people with amazing talents. There are science programs, athletic programs, fun programs, fashion programs, animal programs, strength programs, art programs, music programs, and a lot more. The students there love making friends and work hard, but they always have fun, they also have a specific dress code.

Then inside the school, a girl was walking down the hallway holding a book on in her arms. The girl bluish-purple hair that goes down to her waist, has a pink and purple streak on her hair, has purple eyes, wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has gray knee socks, and black dress shoes, she also has a star clip on her shirt collar. Her name is Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle is one of the top students in Starswirl Academy, she is a straight A+ student, she is from the science program, she is in a band and the lead singer, and most of all she loves making friends.

Twilight was walking down the hallways, being greeted to the others students and Twilight greeted them back. Then Twilight have reached her locker and started to put her book away. Then two boys came to her direction and they were also wearing school uniforms.

The first boy has has grayish harlequin hair with moderate pistachio highlights, moderate emerald eyes, he wears a white button up shirt, a blue navy blazer jacket, a grey tie, grey pants on, and black dress shoes. He also happens to have a recycling triangle symbol pin on his shirt collar. His name is Sandalwood, he also belong to the Eco program.

The boy next to Sandalwood has  dark grayish sapphire blue hair with lighter sheen highlights, has black eyes shield with black glasses, he wears a white button up shirt, a blue navy blazer jacket, a grey tie, grey pants on, and black dress shoes. He also happens to have a science symbol pin on his shirt collar. His name is Micro Chip and he is from the science program.

"Hi Twilight." Said Micro Chip and Sandalwood.

"Oh hi Sandalwood, hi Micro Chip." Said Twilight as she smiles at the two boys.

"We wanted to congratulate you for winning the science fair last week." Said Micro Chip as he smiles.

"Thank you, I always wanted to present my robot dog to the science fair, plus now my dog Spike has someone to play with." Said Twilight as she smiles.

"Wow Twilight, who would've know that you and your 6 best friends are like the most popular girls here at Starswirl Academy." Said Sandalwood as he smiles." You girls are straight A students and most of all you are the greatest band ever."

"Oh why thank you guys, speaking of band, I had to see the girls for band practice." Said Twilight as she smiles and close her locker." I'll see you guys later."

"See ya Twilight." Said Micro Chip and Sandalwood as they smile.

So Twilight have started to go to the band room where her friends are waiting for her. Meanwhile in the band room, six girls were waiting for Twilight and they are also wearing school uniforms.

The first girl has red and yellow hair that passes her shoulders, has cyan eyes, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has gray ankle knee socks, and dark red dress shoes, she also has a sun pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Sunset Shimmer, she is from the community program and she plays guitar.

The second girl has purple hair that goes down to her waist, has sapphire blue eyes, has diamond earrings on her ears, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has white ankle knee socks, and gray dress shoes, she also has a diamond shape pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Rarity, she is from the fashion program, and she play keytar.

The third girl has pink hair tied into two pigtails, has sky blue eyes, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has white ankle knee socks, and dark pink dress shoes, she also has a balloon shape pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Pinkie Pie, she is from the fun program, she is cheerleader captain, and she plays the drums.

The fourth girl has blonde hair tied into a ponytail, emerald green eyes, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, gray skirt, and brown cowgirl boots on, she also has a apple shape pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Applejack, she is from the food program, and she plays bass.

The fifth girl has long light pink hair, sea foam green eyes, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has white ankle knee socks, and light pink dress shoes, she also has a butterfly shape pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Fluttershy, she is from the animal program, and she plays the tambourine.

The last girl has rainbow colored hair tied into a ponytail, magenta eyes, she wears a white sleeveless button shirt, gray skirt, black shorts on, has white ankle knee socks, and light blue sneakers on, she also has a lighting bolt  shape pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Rainbow Dash, she is from the sports program, she is the captain of every sports team in Starswirl Academy, and she also plays guitar.

"Alright girls we have our instruments ready, now all we need to do is wait for Twilight." Said Rainbow Dash." Speaking of which, where is Twilight anyway?"

"Oh she said that she's almost here, she had to put away her journal in her locker." Said Sunset as she smiles.

Then all of a sudden, the door of the band room began to open and Twilight have enter with a microphone on her hand.

"Hey girls, sorry that I'm late, but I saw Sandalwood and Micro Chip and they wanted to congratulate me for winning the science fair last week." Said Twilight as she smiles.

"That's all right darling, as long as the seven best friends are here, we are a great band." Said Rarity as the girls hug each other.

You see, when they were around seven years old, they meet each other at a carnival at a photo booth, they all decided to take a picture with each other, and that was the day they all become best friends. They always go to school together, they have performed as a band and name themselves as the Rainbooms, and ever since they enrolled in Starswirl Academy, they have become the most popular girl's in school.

"Alright girls, we should practice the new song Fluttershy wrote." Said Applejack as she smiles.

Just then, someone started to knock on the band room door, and then three girls have started to enter the band room.

The first girl has strong cerulean hair with moderate arctic blue streaks, moderate azure eyes, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has white ankle knee socks, and black dress shoes, she also has a juniper shape pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Juniper Montage, she is from the drama program and she is also one of the Mane 7 friends.

The second girl on the right side of Juniper has moderate purple hair with lighter purple and pale light grayish aquamarine highlights, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has white ankle knee socks, and dark purple dress shoes, she also has a star shape pin on her shirt collar. Her name is Starlight Glimmer, she is from the science program, and she is one of the Mane 7 friends.

The last girl at the left side of Juniper has light gray hair with light cornflower bluish gray highlights, moderate purple eyes, she wears a white long sleeved button shirt, a blue navy vest over the white shirt, has a gray tie on her neck, gray skirt, has white ankle knee socks, and dark blue dress shoes, she also has a wand shape pin on her shirt collar and a purple witch hat on her head. Her name is Trixie Lulamoon, she is from the drama program and she is one of the Mane 7 friends.

"Hey Juniper, how are you, Starlight, and Trixie doing with the props for this years big play?" Asked Sunset Shimmer as she smiles.

"Oh, we're doing really fine and all, things have never been better since my uncle let me borrow some of his props for the play." Said Juniper as she smiles." And I'm really happy that I could direct the play."

"Yes, and the Great and Powerful Trixie is also happy that I get to use my magic tricks for the play." Said Trixie as she smiles.

"So are you girls going to practicing that new song Fluttershy made?" Asked Starlight.

"Yes we are." Said Pinkie Pie as she smiles." You girls can listen if you want."

Starlight, Juniper, and Trixie have smiled and they have started to sit down. So Sunset and Rainbow Dash grab their guitars, Applejack got her bass, Rarity have her keytar, Fluttershy  has her tambourine, Pinkie Pie got her drums, and Twilight has her microphone. Then they began to play music and start sing.

Then after the finished their song, the girls started to look at each other and smile at the great work they did. Then Starlight, Trixie, and Juniper have started to clap for them for the amazing performance.

"Wow girls, that's so amazing!" Said Juniper as she smiles.

"Yes, the Great and Powerful Trixie gives you a 10 for the most greatest performance." Said Trixie as she smiles!" And I have to say, your singing is amazing."

"Wow girls, that was like the best performance I have ever heard yet, your song is also amazing!" Said Starlight as she smiles.

The Mane 7 have started to blush at the compliments that the three girls have given. Then all of a sudden, the school speaker started to ring and then a lady's voice began to speak.

"Attentions students, please proceed to the gym for a very special announcement." Said the lady and the speakers began to turn off.

"Oh why do you think Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna needs all of us for?" Asked Sunset Shimmer.

"Who knows but maybe we should all go to the gym to find out." Said Twilight as she puts away her microphone.

So the girls have all started to go to the gym to see what was the special announcement the Principal wants to say. As they arrived, they see that every student are all here for the big announcement and realized that this announcement must be really important. Then three girls around 11 years old started to go to the girls.

The first girl has light pink and purple hair, emerald green eyes, she wears a white long-sleeved shirt, a blue vest, a tie of the same color, a blue skirt, blue knee socks, and black dress shoes. She also has a light pink ribbon sash situated at the waist. Her name is Sweetie Belle and she is also known as Rarity's  little sister.

The second girl has red hair with a pink bow on, has light orange eyes, she wears a white long-sleeved shirt, a blue vest, a tie of the same color, a blue skirt, blue knee socks, and black dress shoes. She also has a red ribbon sash situated at the waist. Her name is Applebloom and she is known as Applejack's little sister.

And the last girl has purple hair, purple eyes, she wears a white long-sleeved shirt, a blue vest, a tie of the same color, a blue skirt, blue knee socks, and black dress shoes. She also has a purple ribbon sash situated at the waist. Her name is Scootaloo and she is known as Rainbow Dash's little sister.

"Hey big sis." Said Applebloom as she smiles at her sister.

"Hey there sugarcube, I see that you are also here for the big announcement." Said Applejack as she hugs her little sister.

"Hey Rarity, what do you think that Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna want all of us here?" Asked Sweetie Belle.

"I have no idea Sweetie, but it kinda looks like that it's must be very important because everyone is here." Said Rarity as she looks around the gym." And from the looks around the room, it seems that everyone is here."

"Maybe we should all sit down and hear the announcement." Said Scootaloo as she smiles.

"Scootaloo is right, we should all sit down and figure out why are we all called here." Said Rainbow Dash as she agrees with her little sister.

So the girls have all started to sit down and so did the rest of the students have also sit down. Then as all the students have sit down, two women have began to appear in the stage and started to face the students.

The first women has cyan, pink, green, and blue hair, light pink eyes, she has a gold necklace around her neck, she wears a white long-sleeved shirt with yellow buttons, gold yellow pants on, and yellow heels on. Her name is Celestia and she is the Principal of the school.

And the women next to her has sapphire blue hair with grayish blue highlights, opal blue eyes, has a blue shirt on, a dark blue coat on, blue pants, a crescent moon pin on her coat, and blue heels. Her name is Luna, she is Principal Celestia's sister and known as the Vice Principal.

"Good afternoon students, I'm sure that you all want to know why we all wanted you all here for the special announcement." Said Principal Celestia as she looks at her sister and smile.

"As you all may know, last year we have made a lot of money from last years charity and benefits that we all have accomplished." Said Vice Principal Luna.

"Well, the big announcement is that with the money we have raise, we have decided to build our school in New York City!" Said Principal Celestia in happiness.

Then all of a sudden, the students were all started to get really shock and they all have started to cheer. The students know that New York City is one of the greatest city ever and they have always wanted to go to that city.

"And the best part is that with the extra money we had, we have also decided to build dorm room's for our school, and we get to all live there when we graduate!" Said Vice Principal Luna as she smiles.

That got all the students to cheer really loudly. Even the Mane 7, Juniper, Trixie, and Starlight are also really happy that they all get to go to New York City. Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo are also really excited that they get to explore the greatest city in the world.

"So as you all walk out of the gym, you will find a sheet of paper that you need your parents to sign for their permission for you to go." Said Principal Celestia as she smiles." And you should all go home right now and pack your things because we will be going to New York on Monday."

Then all of the students have all grab their stuff, grab the permission slips from the tables and have all started to leave home to pack. As they all leave, the Mane 7 along with their friends have all started to walk home together.

"Wow girls, can you believe that we get to go to New York City?!" Said Twilight in excitement.

"Yeah, New York is like the best city ever and we get to explore all around the big city and have great adventures!" Said Sunset in excitement.

"Well then girls we need to get ready, come on Sweetie Belle, we need to get home and see what we can pack." Said Rarity as she smiles.

So Rarity and Sweetie Belle have said goodbye to their friends and they have started to leave home. Then the other girls have started to say goodby each other and started to head home to pack their stuff. As they all go home, little did the Mane 7 know is that when they arrived at New York, they will meet their crushes.
