The next day, at Starswirl Academy, the girls were all in the band room practicing their new song that Fluttershy made, and once they all finished, they smile at each other, and then Starlight, Juniper, Trixie, Maya, and Wallflower have all clapped for them.

"Wow girls, that was an awesome band practice you did today!" Said Maya as she smiles." You are like awesome!"

"Thanks Maya, Fluttershy did made the most amazing songs ever!" Said Rainbow Dash as she smirks.

"Aw Rainbow Dash, you are making me blush." Said Fluttershy as she smiles and blushes.

"I always knew that you girls would be a great band together." Said Wallflower as she smiles." And you sound even better when you practice separated."

"Why don't we all take a break, all this practicing does make me really tired." Said Rarity as she looks at her friends.

So the Mane 7, Juniper, Starlight, Trixie, Wallflower, and Maya have all started to go to the student lounge to get some drinks and then they all started to talk.

"Say Twilight, that day of the party where you kissed Leo, I never knew you had the guts." Said Sunset Shimmer as she smirks.

"Oh that, I just can't help myself on that day, I mean the way that Leo and I see during that party, it was magical." Said Twilight as she blushes.

"Yeah, you two sing really cool that day!" Said Pinkie Pie as she smiles.

"That's right, the Great and Powerful Trixie gives you a hundred points for greatest show." Said Trixie as she smiles." And I have to admit, you were a great singer."

"Thanks Trixie." Said Twilight as she smiles.

Then as Rainbow Dash have take a sip of her drink, she turns to another direction, and she saw Casey walking towards the girls and that got her to smirk and lean to Applejack.

"Hey Applejack, don't look now, but it seems like Casey is coming our way." Whisper Rainbow Dash which got Applejack's eyes to go widen.

"Holy sweet apples, you're right Rainbow Dash." Whisper Applejack as she looks a bit nervous.

"Hey girls." Said Casey as he smiles.

"Oh hey there Casey, what are you doing here?" Asked Starlight as she smiles.

"Oh well, I was just visiting you girls, then when I heard you girls practicing, you were really amazing." Said Casey as he smiles and looks at Applejack." But you really sound amazing when you play the bass Applejack."

"Gee thanks Casey, that's very sweet of you to say." Said Applejack as she smiles.

"Oh yeah, that reminds me." Said Casey as he look at Sunset." Sunset Shimmer, Raph ask me that he wanted to see you at the park at 7:00 pm tonight."

"Really, what does he want?" Asked Sunset Shimmer looking confused.

"I don't really know, he said that he has a surprise for you." Said Casey as he smiles.

"Oh well okay then, hey Maya, do you think that you can help me get ready?" Asked Sunset Shimmer as she like old at Maya.

"Sure thing Sunset Shimmer." Said Maya as she and Sunset goes to the dorm rooms.

"What do you think the surprise that Raph made for Sunset is anyway?" Asked Rainbow Dash.

"I don't really know, all I know is that he wanted to surprise Sunset Shimmer." Said Casey as he smiles." But whatever it is, he kinda blush meaning that he want to impress Sunset Shimmer."

"Oh, I'm guessing that it must be a date." Said Juniper as she smiles.

That got the girls to smiles to think that Sunset Shimmer might have a great time with Raph. Meanwhile in the dorm rooms, Maya was helping Sunset Shimmer getting prepare to see Raph. Sunset is wearing a magenta triple layer strapless dress that a bit of yellow flames at the top, she has a magenta necklace around her neck, and is wearing black closed wedge heels with yellow flames on it.

"Okay, how do I look Maya?" Asked Sunset Shimmer.

"You look beautiful Sunset Shimmer." Said Maya as she smiles.

"Thank you Maya, I'm starting to get really nervous right now." Said Sunset Shimmer as she felt nervous." I mean, Raphael, the guy I'm starting to grow a crush on, is asking me to see him at the park."

"I know how you feel Sunset Shimmer, I use to feel really nervous when my first boyfriend Benic ask me to meet him at the park." Said Maya as she smiles.

You see, Benic was the late boyfriend of Maya

"Really, what did you do?" Asked Sunset as she looks as Maya.

"Well, I was really nervous that Benic ask me to meet him in the park, but then I start to calm down, and when I met him he surprised me with a beautiful song." Said Maya as she smiles." And by the looks of it, I'm guessing that whatever Raph is planning, I bet it will be romantic."

That got Sunset Shimmer to smile at Maya and thinking that maybe she is right. Later that night, it 7:00 pm and Sunset Shimmer was going to the park to where Raph is waiting for her and as she goes, and she started to think about Raph.

"Whatever Raph is making me, I'm guessing that whatever it is, I'm guessing he really wants to surprise." Said Sunset Shimmer as she smiles.

Then as she arrive at the park, she saw Raph waiting for her. But what got her into shock is that he is holding a bright red and yellow rose in his head which surprise Sunset Shimmer. Then Sunset goes to Raph.

"Hi Raph." Said Sunset as she smiles.

"Hi Sunset Shimmer." Said Raph as he looks at Sunset and blush." Wow, you look so beautiful in that dress."

"Why thank you, it was my mothers dress when she was around my age." Said Sunset Shimmer as she blush.

"Oh, here you go, I bought you this rose." Said Raph as he hand Sunset Shimmer the rose.

"Oh thank you Raph, that's really sweet of you." Said Sunset as she smells the rose.

"Wait, let me try something." Said Raph as he takes to rose and puts it on Sunsets hair." There, it look beautiful on you."

"Why thank you Raph." Said Sunset as she smiles." So what's the surprise you want to show me?"

"I'll show you, but first you had to close your eyes." Said Raph as he smiles.

It got Sunset Shimmer to get a bit confused, but then she close her eyes, then Raph takes her hand, and then he started to lead her to where the surprise is. Then they both stop and Raph smile at Sunset.

"Okay Sunset, you can open your eyes now." Said Raph as he smiles.

Then as Sunset opened her eyes and gasped at the sight she is seeing. There was a big red blanket on the floor with a candle in the middle. Two covered dishes were set, and delicious food.

"Oh my goodness, in all my years, no one has ever done anything this nice for me." Said Sunset Shimmer as she smiles." Did you plan this all by yourself?"

"Well sorta, I had a little help with my mom with the cooking." Said Raph as he smiles.

"Well, I think it's really romantic Raph." Said Sunset as she smiles.

"Shall we my lady?" Ask Raph.

"We shall my kind gentleman." Said Sunset as she smiles.

So Raph and Sunset have started to sit down and have their dinner and then they talk and laugh.

"Wow Raph, I gotta day, this is really great food that your mom made." Said Sunset Shimmer as she smiles.

"Thanks, my mom has been a great cook since." Said Raph as he smiles.

"Wow Raph, your family is really amazing, you are lucky to have a great mother and father." Said Sunset Shimmer as she smiles." You also have great siblings."

"Yeah, I'm pretty lucky to have a great family." Said Raph as he smiles." What about you Sunset, do you have a great mom and dad?"

"Yeah, my mom and dad are like the greatest parents I could ever ask for." Said Sunset Shimmer as she smiles." You Raph, you are like the coolest boy I have ever met."

"Really, you think I'm cool?" Asked Raph as he blush.

"Yeah, I mean you are handsome, strong, and you are willing to protect your siblings." Said Sunset as she smiles.

"Thanks Sunset, and you are really a cool girl, you are smart, beautiful, and are willing to help your friends." Said Raph as he smiles.

"Aw thank you Raph, that's really sweet of you to say." Said Sunset Shimmer as she smiles." You know something Raph, I never thought that you and I would have so much in common."

"Me neither Sunset." Said Raph as he smiles." This may be weird but, it's like you and me can make. . ."

"A perfect harmony!" Said Sunset and Raph together.

That got them to smile at each other. Then as soon as they both said that, all of a sudden, music have began to play, and the Sunset and Raph have both began to sing.

"Your welcome Sunset Shimmer, I'm really glad that you like it." Said Raph as he smiles at Sunset.

Then Sunset and Raph have continued their picnic and they both realize that this has turn out to be the most shimmering date they both have ever had.
