15. Uncontrolled

General Narration

Breeze flew though the city, over rooftops, through alleys, everywhere. She wore an emotionless face and her eyes glowed a bright icy blue.

She continued flying throughout the sitting until she heard a high pitched scream, she flew towards the sound investigating where it came from. She found it, in an alleyway. A bunch of thugs, about four, were trying to steal a ladies purse, they'd backed her up into a corner.

She flew down there and set herself in between the woman and the thugs. "Hey girly, get lost or else you're gonna be in a lot of trouble." One of the thugs warned. "You idiot! We can't let her go now, she'll call the cops or somethin'" Another one of them said. They came around Breeze and the woman, slowly surrounding them both. The woman cowered in fear as Breeze simply stood still in the middle awaiting the thugs first move.

"Oh this'll be fun!" One of the crooks snarled. Right after the words left his mouth he lunged for Breeze. She wasn't slow to react. She stepped to the side and avoided the feeble attack.

"You should run. . . " Breeze advised towards the woman. She hesitantly nodded and ran off. One of the crooks was about to chase her before another one stopped him in his tracks. "Leave her, this ones much more interesting." He said deeply.

They surrounded Breeze once again, preparing for attack. She wasn't intimidated, not one bit. "We're gonna do lots of things to you beautiful." One of them said slyly. "You are all pathetic excuses for humans and are beneath me." Breeze replied back calmly.

One of the men lunged at her with a bat, she dodged effortlessly and kicked him in the back, with enough force it sent him into the wall and knocked him out cold. Another came at her, again with the bat. She ducked and round housed kicked him, making him hit his head on the cold, hard concrete.

While she stared at the body, making sure he was down, she was too slow to react to the crook behind her. He jumped her, his loud tell of rage alarming Breeze only at the last second, he still managed to cut her arm with his pocket knife.

Breeze clenched her arm and removed her hand to reveal her palm covered in blood. She snapped her head up to look at the crook who wore a smug look on his face. "You'll pay for that." She said coldly. She stood back up again straight, showing no signs of weakness or surrender.

She stalked towards the one who cut her as the other crook ran at her holding the pocket knife in front of himself, ready to stab her. She raised a hand and pushed forward sending the criminal backwards with her powers. Three down. One to go.

She returned her gaze to the man who cut her and slowly walked up to him. He cowered in fear as the rest his team lay unconscious on the ground. "Li-listen I-I don't want any trouble!" He begged. "You were asking for trouble the second you decided it was smart to attack me!" Breeze hissed.

Once she'd backed him into the corner of the alley she raised a hand and the man started to float into the air. She swung her arm left, then right. The man slamming into each side of the alleyway. She held him out in front of her and ever so slowly started clenching her fist.

After about two seconds the man started yelling in pain as he was squashed and squeezed. The air being squeezed out of his lungs. An evil smirk grew across Breezes face as his screams of agony rang in her ears.

"CASSANDRA!!!!" A voice yelled out. Her grip stopped tightening and loosened a little. She looked around waiting for the figure to reveal themselves. Her eyes finally laid on the one who spoke her name, her real name.

"Raphael. What're you doing here." She spat as the green turtle emerged from the shadows. "I've come to talk to you, I-"

"I DON'T WANT TO TALK!" She yelled. He took a step back but walked towards her, gaining the courage to face her. He knew what she was capable of, if not, he knew that she was capable of more. He took his chances.

He looked into her eyes, icy blue, no life inside them. Her voice, emotionless. She was lost. But not for long. Raphael was determined to bring her back. It was his fault she was like this.

"Cas, I'm sorry, I lost it and I shouldn't have, especially with you. And....I'm sorry." He apologised. Silence followed after.

She laughed menacingly, breaking the silence. "You think I want your apology? You think I need your apology?! I don't need anything from you. Especially you." She said. He was taken aback at first, she was very far gone, but not enough to stop Raphael.

"This isn't you, put the crook down, this isn't how we do things!" He shouted. "You can't tell me what to do!!" she retorted back. And with that she dropped the crook, mid air, and lunged at Raphael, initiating battle.

She attacked him like a wild animal lashing out randomly and unpredictably. Eventually Raph managed to kick her off of him and get back up on his feet. "Cassandra! What're you doin?!" He yelled at her. She ignored him completely. She ripped her kunai off of her belt and dropped the chain. She spun it around slowly and getting faster every second.

Raph grabbed his sais and swung one around in his hand. She waited for the perfect moment to strike. They walked in circles, stalking each other like lions. Breeze finally decided to attack and flung the kunai at Raphs head! He ducked just in time. He looked at her shocked.

"You're too late Raphael, I'm only beginning to unlock my true power." She yelled at him. Raphael concentrated on figuring out ways to bring Cassandra back, he knew mere words were not going to cut it, at least not alone. Breeze threw her hands in front of her over and over again sending strong currents of wind in Raphael's direction. He dodged most of them but tripped up on the last one and took a massive blow to his stomach. The force of the wind pushed him to the wall of the alley.

Breeze slowly hovered over to him, getting closer and closer. "I haven't even reached my limit yet and you're already having trouble holding your own ground!" She said evilly. He crawled backwards on his hands trying to get away from her. She was too much for him, he couldn't take her on alone, especially without a plan.

He got up to his feet and was about to flee back to the sewers. He turned on his heels and almost left the alleyway before he froze in his tracks. He couldn't move, not a centimeter. "Argh, w-what's happening?!" He frantically asked himself. He was then lifted into the air and spun around so he was now facing Breeze. She brought him closer to her and smirked at him. "Leaving so soon? And without a goodbye, I'm hurt." She said sarcastically. "Cassandra listen you're not you!" Raphael pleaded to her, still in her grasp. "QUIET!" She yelled at him. He struggled and struggled trying to break free of her hold. "It's no use, Raphael, I'm stronger than you." She said darkly.

She was about to throw him to the nearest wall until an alarming sound came around the corner. The familiar siren of a police car was coming down here. She looked up and could faintly see the flashing lights coming close to the alleyway. She dropped Raphael and flew off. Raphael rapidly stood up and looked around for a way out before the cops saw him. He looked to the far right and found a manhole cover. He raced to the sewer cap, lifted it up and jumped down, running as fast as he could back to the lair.

Once he reached the lair he panted and breathed heavily at the turnstiles. "Raph?" Came the voice of his older brother. "LEO!" Raphael yelled and ran to his brother. "You have to help me." He pleaded. "Woah, calm down, what happened?" Leonardo tried to calm his younger brother down. They both sat down and Raphael explained everything to him.

"Wow, so she's really lost herself." the blue bandana turtle said. "Yeh. . . and it's all my fault." Raphael threw his heads into his hands. "Don't worry, we'll figure out how to fix this ok." Leonardo assured his brother. "What if something happens while she's out?!. . . WHAT IF SHREDDER GETS TO HER?!" Raphael yelled. The thought of Cassandra being convinced to work for Shredder haunted his mind. "I'm sure she won't." Leonardo replied back calmly. Raphael wasn't convinced, he was truly scared for her.

All he could do now was wait until he and his brothers came up with a plan to get Cassandra back. What happened to her while she was out there was beyond his control.
