Tables Turned

Raphael was grunting, doing push-ups with his Sai's in the Dojo. Feeling a lot better than before. Smiling as he did another push-up, then heard a female's voice enter the room.
"R-Raphael? Is that you!?" It was Mona! Raph smiled and got off his Sai's when he pushed up.
"Yeah, it's me!" He replied. He spun his Sai in his hand and put it in his belt pocket.
"I haven't seen you since a long time! I'm so happy to see you!" She beamed and hugged him.
Raph blushed, hugging her back. "I'm glad to see you too!"
Mona gently pulled away and rubbed her arm. "Hey... Is it alright if I talk to you?"
"Of course!"
"Like, at the surface?" She looked down.
Raph frowned. "Okay... Come on!" She held his hand and left the lair.
Raphael followed her, jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Winds brushed against his body, giving him goosebumps on his arms. He started to slow down to catch his breath, but somehow, he didn't need to. Mona Lisa soon stopped on a rooftop and sat down. She rested her chin on her knees. Raph was following behind her. He landed onto the same roof and walked to her side. He panted. "S-so what is it that you wanted to talk about?" He wondered, sitting beside her. Mona didn't reply right away. She sighed. Raphael frowned. "Mona what's wrong?"
Mona perked up. "Hm? Oh uh... Nothing!" She faked a smile.
"I know something's wrong, Mona. Please, I don't like secrets that hurt others," he put his arm around her.
The fake smile left Mona's face and she sighed. She rested her head on her arms again. "I... I don't know if you'll like it..." She turned her head the opposite direction.
"If I won't like what?" He asked.
"I... I'm not really comfortable with being around your brothers," She began.
"Uh huh," Raph nodded.
"Well, they're nice and all, but I have this feeling that I can't trust them with anything."
"How come?"
"I don't know. I just feel like I can't trust them with... Anything I am," she looked at him.
"Hey, you can trust them. They're good guys, remember? They helped you when you were on the rooftop," Raph pointed out.
"No, you don't understand. I-If I were bad... Would you still like me?"
"Of course I would."
"I mean if I were real bad, and I could tell you anything, no matter how horrible, you'd still be my friend?"
"Of course, Mona. No matter what!" They leaned in a little to kiss, but Mona turned away.
"I-I'm sorry. I can't!" She said.
"What?" Raph asked.
"I- I just can't!" She started to run, but Raph caught her arm. Gently.
Mona's head was turned the other way, crying. "What!?"she asked, still turning the other way. "It's not like you l-love me anyways!"
Raphael was shocked, and didn't know what to do at first, but he decided to tell her. "I d-do love you, Mona Lisa!"
"Well isn't that sweet?" The moment was interrupted by a cold, familiar, voice. Raphael let go of Mona's arm and looked up.
"It's so good to see familiar faces again, old friend!?"
"What? Have we met!?"
"You don't remember? Well that's a shame! I was right! You are an idiotic turtle!"
"Wait. D-Doer!?" Raph eyes widened and  looking around.
"Now you remember," the voice continued. "So good to see you again, Raphael!"
"N-No! You were gone!" Raph held his head.
"I am never gone. I live inside you. I haunt you!"
Raphael growled. He got into his fighting stance, ready to fight. "F-Fight me!" He threatened.
"You don't scare me. You don't know what scares me. But I know what scares you!" Doer taunted Raphael with a threat. There was a snap of two fingers. At that moment, something caught onto Mona's leg, and pulled her, dragging her away. She screamed. "RAPHAEL!"
"MONA LISA!" Raphael ran into action to grab her hands, looked at her in fear. He jumped and landed onto his stomach, on the cold surface, grabbing her hands and started to pull her, but his strength wasn't enough! He was just too weak! The thought ran through his head, making him tear up.
"You know you're unable to save her! You just think you can!" Doer's voice echoed. "But you can't!" Raphael struggled to keep her in his sight, but Mona's grip started to loosen, making her slip as her figure started to slowly, but surely, detach from his green, bandaged, weak, slippery hands.
"RAPHAEL!" She screamed, as he was pulled into the darkness. Now he knew how she felt when that had happened to him back at the vent.
"NOOOOOO!!!!!!"

Sound familiar? Ignore that it's April in the photo and pretend it's Mona. She kind of looks like this emoji: 👩🏽 Next Chapter Coming Soon to A Device Near You!!
