~The next morning in No One's Perspective~

It was a hot day and everyone was inside of the farmhouse in the living room. The weather was calling for very hot temperatures today.

~My Perspective~

It was so hot and I was panting a lot. There wasn't any water in the house and the AC was broken. I started coughing and saw my love. "L-Leo..."

"What's wrong baby?"

"I'm... so... hot..." I panted and felt myself growing red.

He gasped and felt my forehead. "You're getting hot. I better take you downstairs."

"Leo... I need a water source fast... I could die if I'm not in the water..!"

"Oh my god..." he grew pale. "We need to find something for you to be cooled down with and fast!" he exclaimed worryingly.

(Leo gasps about what will happen if I don't find water anytime soon)

"O-Okay..."

He picked me up and walked down the stairs. He sat down in the living room couch and placed me on his lap. I was panting very heavily, hoping that a miracle would happen.

~April's Perspective~

I came downstairs wearing short sleeved shirt, short jeans, and flip flops. The house was so hot like we were in a barrier and the air conditioner hadn't been used, so it was basically broken. The shower from the bathroom was also broken too since we can't take a shower. I heard my dad say that there was a lake nearby, not too far away. So I looked at everyone.

"Hey guys. I have an idea. It's not training."

"Then what is it?" Jimena asked.

"There's a lake nearby that we can swim in. It's a very beautiful lake that I'll think you'll all like."

"That sounds great April." Sensei suggested.

I heard panting. Then saw that Aqua was looking all pale and very sweaty. "Aqua, are you okay? You look terrible."

"W-Water..."

"She's getting really hot. April, take us to the lake now! She could die if she isn't in the water in her mermaid form!" he said worryingly.

I gasped then nodded my head. "Okay! Everyone, let's go to the lake!"

~Leo's Perspective~

I picked Aqua up and went outside. April lead the way and we all followed her. I looked down at my dear who was hot and sweaty.

"L-Leo..." she panted.

"It's okay baby girl. April's taking us to the lake now. Just hang in there."

"Okay..."

I was worried sick for her. I haven't seen her this hot like this before. I hurried over to April and paced next to her. "How far is the lake?"

"Not too far." she paces.

"Good."

~A while later~

We were all walking through the forest and suddenly I saw a blue surface. I walked closer to see a huge blue lake. "Whoa..."

"Wow..." the guys said.

"Amazing." Sensei said.

I looked down at my dear who urged me to put her into the lake. I walked through the water and placed her in the cool water. I watched the surface of the water ripple around us. And I prayed hoping that my dear will be alright.

~My Perspective~

I hummed as the water was cooling my body. I felt myself glowing and transforming into a mermaid. I saw that my tail that was in the water and I woke up. "Leo." I smiled. "I feel better."

"Thank god." he sighed in relief. "She's okay!"

I giggled. "Can we swim together? Like we always do?"

"Of course." he puts me down and swims around me.

I giggled. I dove under the blue, clear water and swam around him in circles. I swim over to the others and swam around in circles. They all laughed a bit, even Sensei.

"Wow. She's a great swimmer." Donnie said.

"Nice tail..." Jimena complimented.

"She looks happy." Raph said.

"Very happy." Haylie added.

"That's a wicked tail Aqua!" Casey said in awe.

"Very beautiful. And it is emitting a soft glow." Sensei added with a smile.

"Aww, thanks everyone." I blushed and smiled at them. "I feel much better." I swam on my back.

~Jimena's Perspective~

I was singing my favorite song while I was looking at the guys. I was glad that everyone was happy and relieved to the water's touch. I've never experienced water before. It felt nice to be in it during a hot day. I looked at Donnie who was floating on the surface with his shell on it. I wanted to try it, but I sunk in the water and came up to breathe.

~Donnie's Perspective~

I saw Jimena trying to float on the water's surface, but it looked like she was having difficulty trying to float. "Hey Jimena, you want me to help you float on your back?" I asked her.

"Yes please." she smiled.

So when I got started on teaching her how to float, I felt my heart pounding. 'What's this feeling? Am I scared?? Am I nervous??? What am I feeling????' I thought to myself. But I ignored my heartbeat and moved on with the teaching.

~3 hours later~

I looked at the time of my T-Phone knowing that it was already 2 o'clock in the afternoon. "Hey April, I think it's time to go home."

"Yeah it is. Let me check up on Aqua first." she looks at our mermaid friend. "Hey Aqua! You feel better?"

"Yeah I'm okay!" Aqua said.

"Okay she's good. We can go now."

"Okay." I looked at Jimena who was on the grass and was asleep next to my meditating dad. I walked out of the water and picked her up gently in my arms. I saw the others coming out of the water all cool and refreshed from the lake. April lead the way back home and I followed right behind her as Jimena was slumbering peacefully.

~A few minutes later~

We've arrived back at the farmhouse and I brought Jimena into her room and laid her on her bed. I left her so that April could dress her out of the wet clothes she was in during our swim at the lake. I went outside to the barn lab and started working on something new. A few minutes after I started my latest project, I stopped. I kept thinking about Jimena's pretty hazel colored eyes.

This was the 3rd time I've been distracted from my work today! I was so frustrated at myself, I threw a wrench at the wooden wall.

'Ugh! What in Galileo's name is wrong with me?! Am I sick or just depressed?? I don't know!' I thought to myself... And then it hit me.

(Donnie finding out that he loves Jimena! And not April!)

'Wait a minute... Am I, in love with Jimena?!' I blushed. I smiled, knowing that I love Jimena. But what would April say about this? Oh well, I think she'll know eventually.
