The Beginning

~My Perspective~

Oh hello there everyone, my name is Aquamarine Lapis Lazuli Waters. I'm a humanoid arctic timber wolf with the ability to adapt to any situation. Now, I'll tell you about my life as a "mutant" as humans may call us.

(That's me! Credit goes to ToraAika)

I was born in a forest with 2 loving parents. My mother Aquaria Waters, the merwolf and my father Jonathan Wolf, the leader of his forest wolf pack. For some reason, I'm able to adapt to the water a lot. For example; whenever I'm in the water, my paws become webbed like a frog and my legs morph together to make a fish tail.

My father loved my mother very much they got married in which was a happy ending. And then 2 years later, my mother gave birth to me. I was born a humanoid wolf, with merwolf powers. For almost 15 years with my family, my father taught me how to defend myself as a wolf. He taught me the Japanese traditions of ninjutsu, and I mastered them which gave me the gift of the single katana blade.

(My weapon of choice)

My mother was also a great fighter too. She taught me how to defend myself when I'm in the water which gave me the gift to the merwolf power of healing. I lived a happy life here in the forest of Moonstone Village. But all of that was going to change...

(My mom and dad!)

Our village day started as any ordinary village day. I was playing in the backyard with my family dogs.

"Go fetch Zeus!" I said as I threw the ball near a bush.

"Ruff!" Zeus barked and retrieved the ball.

"Way to go buddy. Let's go check on your wife Bandit."

"Ruff!" he wagged his tail.

We both went to the porch to see Bandit. She was laying down on her doggie bed with a blanket over her tummy. She's pregnant with Zeus' puppies and I was excited about it. Their puppies should be born anytime in the next few months.

"Hey Bandit girl, how are the puppies?" I said as I pet her.

"Ruff!" she wagged her tail and looked at her tummy. Zeus gave her lick on her cheek.

(Zeus and Bandit!)

"Aww, cute. I wish I had a boyfriend so I can be like you guys. Being together and raising a family." I giggled and pet the both of them while they wagged their tails.

~3 hours later~

I woke up from my nap due to a big boom. "What in the name of- whoa!" I gasped. "Mom! Dad!" I ran downstairs and came outside. We all saw that our house was starting to burn in the ember flames of terror.

"Oh my god! Who did this?!" I panicked.

"I did." a dark voice spoke.

I turned around to visual an evil wolf, that was known as Red Claw. He pondered into our home village with his wolf soldiers. Most of the pack say that he was raised by a human that had silver armor over his body that lives in the city and loves to shred things. The soldiers were slaying our villager wolf friends and family, but of course they didn't go down without a fight. In fact, they gave Red Claw a run for his moon stones. Unfortunately, he had the advantage of strength in the highest of our numbers. As our home was burning, my parents turned to me quickly and said,

"Run Aquamarine run!" my dad urged me.

So we all ran away from the burning hell of our home forest village. The fire was spreading fast and there was no escape from the evil Red Claw. He and his wolf soldiers surrounded us in a circle.

(Red Claw! Grr...)

"You will never escape from me!" Red Claw said as the trees were starting to lose its supports from the fire.

My father looked at me and said, "Aquamarine. My dear daughter, escape the forest, find somewhere safe!"

"But father! I should help you fight them!" I shouted as I drew out my weapon.

"No my dear lotus flower. It's too dangerous for you to fight them." he said as he picked me up over his shoulders.

"Huh?! Dad! What are you doing?!" I said as I was banging on his shoulder with my pawed fist.

"Aquamarine! You must flee now my daughter!" my mother said as she was fending off Red Claw and the soldiers, which gave my father a chance to take me away from the village.

"Mom!" I shouted.

She looked back at me while I saw a glittering tear at the corner of her and said, "Live long Aquamarine!"

"No mom!" I yelled her name as father took me away.

~Mom's Perspective~

As soon as my daughter and husband fled, I was defending myself to the most hated villain of Red Claw.

"You be vanished within this village Mrs. Wolf!" Red Claw commanded.

"You will never have my daughter! Or my true love!" I commanded back at him while biting his fur.

He winces and tackled me to a tree. "I will get my revenge for what you Waters have done!" he yells and fatally stabs me with his blade through my heart.

I winced as the blade was through me and taken right out of my body, then I collapsed on the ground. "Jonathan... Aquamarine... please be safe... my loves..." I said my last words as my life was passed on.

~Red Claw's Perspective~

"Oh dear, the wonderful mermaid wolf has passed away." I smirked evilly.

Now it was time to kill the husband, and their daughter. Their precious daughter will be the best death ever.

"Sir Red Claw. The family of this wench fled down south of the island." my fieriest soldier said.

"Good..." I said as I was walking toward the direction. "This will be an interesting family death..." I smirked more as I disappeared from the flaming village with corpses all around me.

~My Perspective~

My father was still carrying me as he was still running through the forest. He stopped and brought me to the edge of the forest where the ocean was at its end toll. Something told me that things weren't looking too good for me.

"Aquamarine. You must get out of the forest and move onto the place we were meant to flee at." my father said as he kissed my forehead multiple times.

"But dad! What about mom and our dogs?!" I panicked while I was in tears.

"You must go alone my sweet baby kunoichi." he petted my fur. I started to shed more tears and my ears perked as I hear broken branches coming near us. My father looked behind and saw the terrifying red eyes that were approaching toward us. I gasped in horror.

"I know you can survive this. When you wake up, go to New York City and you know what else to do from there."

"Huh?" I was confused. Without warning, my dad hit me with a sleep dart and it knocked me into an unconscious state. I blacked out as I was falling off the cliff.

~Red Claw's Perspective~

I came out of the shadows while John was standing by. "Hello, say goodnight daddy." I smirked as I approached the wretched John Wolf. And with my sharp gauntlet-like claws, I shredded through his body and killed him. His last words were...

"Live a long life my daughter..." and his body limped.

Aww, how sad. How it came to this. His life was insignificant. But there is just 1 lingering problem, their wretched female pup escaped. Oh well; I will soon track her down and she will suffer the same fate, as her wretched family did. So I left the desolate island as it was raining.

~Several days later in my Perspective~

When I regained consciousness, I was in the sea in my mermaid form. I saw bright lights that lit up the sea's surface. I looked up and gasped at what I saw.

"Whoa!"

I saw a big city! With bright lights like fireflies, but in different colors. I looked at the great site, taking a picture with my waterproof professional camera that White Fang gave me as a ninjutsu celebration gift. It was a beautiful site to see and remembered that this was the place I had to be at!

(New York City!)

"This is the place." I said to myself as I was swimming toward the shore and coming out of the water. I waited for my form to dry out and got up. As I was looking around; I saw people, people that I haven't seen before. I walked up to them to say hi, but instead they ran away calling me a "mutant". I looked at my reflection of the sea water.

When I realized what my father said, he says to be careful of who you show your true self to. And he was right! It was a lucky thing I remembered what he and my mother said. But when I mentioned my father, I sighed in hopelessness and started to cry. I cried for everyone from the home I grew up in, my family... my whole family was gone. But I shook my head and remembered the words of living a long life.

"I better find somewhere else to be so they don't see me." I looked around and saw the rooftops. I climbed up to the rooftops of the buildings, using my claws as climbing gear. I also made sure that nobody saw me.

"I better look around this new place..." I whispered to myself as I was running across the rooftops, exploring this new city domain.
