~The next day~

I was reading another book called "The Kite Runner," and it was a really good book. I was finishing the last page of the book until I felt tapping on my shoulder. I looked up to see that Donnie was smiling down at me. "Oh, hey Doctor."

"Hey Aqua. Did you like the book?" he asked.

"Yeah. It was really good. My favorite part was the kite competition." I smiled as I closed the book.

"That's good. I could take it back to my library for you."

"Thank you." I said as I gave him the book. Then I noticed there was a towel wrapped around his neck. "Hey Donnie, what's with the towel? Are you catching a cold?"

"Oh. No I'm not. The guys and I were going to be at April's house. She has an underground pool. It's much deeper than our pool."

"Cool!" I smiled. "Um, do you think I should come along?" I blushed a little.

"Sure. We would like it if you came with us, maybe Leo would like it even more. Besides, it's not every day we get to swim with a mermaid." he smiled.

I giggled. "Okay. I'll go get ready!" I smiled and jumped off the couch. "Oh wait, I can go like this. My clothes come back after I dry off my tail." I blushed.

Donnie chuckled. "It's okay. Just get a towel."

"Okay then." I walked to my room and grabbed the work that Leo first gave me and then made it back to the living room where I saw the other boys there. "Oh. Hey guys."

"Hey." they said.

"You're coming with us to the pool at April's house Aqua Blue?" Mikey asked.

"Yeah."

"But you don't have a swimsuit on!"

"I'm a mermaid. I got a swimsuit in my other form anyway."

"Oh. My bad." he apologized.

"It's okay Mikestar." I looked around to see that Haylie wasn't around. "Where's Haylie?"

"She's resting in Donnie's lab." Raph said.

"So she's staying here by herself?"

"No, Sensei will take care of her while we're gone."

"Oh, okay than."

"Alright boys and Aqua, let's get going." Leo said as he leads the way and we all followed.

~A while later~

We made it to April's house and I knocked on her window with my not so secret knock. "April."

"Aqua!" she smiled and opened the window for us so we can go inside of her room. "It's great to see you again." she hugged me.

I giggled and hugged her back. "I'm glad to see you too." I looked up to see a tall white with red facial hairs. "Oh. Um, hello sir."

"April, who's this wolf mutant?" the man asked.

"Oh! This is Aqua, she's the one from the news and the one who saved me from the Kraang the other night."

"Well, I'm glad to meet my little girl's hero. I'm Kirby O'Neil, April's father." he shook my hand.

(April's father, Kirby O'Neil)

"It's nice to meet you too sir." I smiled and shook his hand back.

"So, you're going with my daughter and the turtles to our secret pool?"

"Yes sir. Oh, and don't be surprised about my ummm... umm... mermaid form." I blushed.

"Merwolf actually." Mikey said.

"Thanks Mikey."

"A mermaid?" he smiled. "They bring good luck. Well, I feel lucky already to meet a merwolf here in my house." he chuckled.

"You never told me that you were a mermaid!" April said.

"That's how I healed since day one after you left April. I'm sorry." I looked down.

"It's okay. But I can't wait to see you with a fish tail." she smiled.

"Thanks."

"Well guys, let's go." April said as she lead us to a closet and opened the door to a flight of stairs below.

"Whoa..." I gasped.

"Who's going down first?" Mikey said.

"Not it!" the others said but me.

"Wait what?" I looked at the guys. "So much for being brave ninjas." I scoffed lightly and headed downstairs.

After walking down the flight of stairs, I saw a light and gasped at what I saw. An underground pool with the stairs leading to the water and a ledge we can sit on.

"Whoa... It's so beautiful!" I smiled.

(The pool under April's house!)

"You like it Aqua?" April asked.

"I love it!" I smiled.

"Geranamo!" Mikey splashed in there with a cannonball.

I laughed as the other boys jumped in the pool. I dropped my towel near the ledge and kept looking at the deep water.

"Come on Aqua! The water feels great!" Mikey said.

"Yeah come on, I wanna see you turn into a mermaid." April said as she sat down near my towel.

"Okay. But, can you keep an eye on my moon watch please?"

"Sure."

I gave her my moon watch. "If there's a new moon coming, tell me to get out."

"Why's that Aqua?" she asked me.

"Yeah. Why Aqua? Is it something wrong?" Donnie asked too and the others looked at me.

"Yes. When the new moon comes, I get a hurt twisted feeling in my stomach and I lose my tail. And I can't have it back for at least a few days. Think of it almost like a girl's menstruation cycle, but I don't shed blood or tissue like other girls. But I do get major sweet cravings as a result."

"Ohh..." they understood.

"I understand." Donnie and April said at the same time.

"Okay, I'm jumping in on a count of 3." I smiled. "1, 2, 3!" and I dove into the water.

~Leo's Perspective~

As I saw Aqua diving into the water, I saw the sparkles that I first saw when she first transformed in front of my eyes.

After I saw Aqua's tail come up and down into the water, her head came up and she giggled. I smiled very warmly at her. 'God, she looks really beautiful in her mermaid form.' I blushed that my thoughts spoke to me.

"Man Aqua, I don't think I will never get used to seeing you transform like that magically." Donnie said and we laughed.

"Well, let's swim." Aqua said as she dove under.

"Okay." I took a deep breath of air and dove under, then I swam up to her. She giggled and held my hands which made me blush a light rose red. I smiled as she and I were spinning around in the warm clear water while she was laughing. 'This is a dream come true! I'm swimming with a mermaid!' my thoughts of joy said.

I saw the bubbles coming out of my mouth and tapped on Aqua's shoulder. I pointed up saying that I need some air. She nodded and helped me swim up to the surface, then I breathed in the air. 'W-Wow. That was a great experience. I wish I could do that again.' I smiled again in my thoughts again.

~A while later in No One's Perspective~

So the turtles and Aquamarine had a good time at April's house and they went home back to the sewers. After everyone took a nice hot shower, they all went to sleep so they could train the next day.
