~My Perspective~

When Leo and l made it to the surface, I breathed in the fresh air. "Mmm, it feels good to be up here."

"It does." Leo said as he was closing the manhole with the cap. "Are you sure you wanna be up here at this time? It's pretty dangerous at night."

"Leo, I know. You're not my dad." I giggled.

He smiled and chuckled. "Okay, let's go to the rooftops." he climbed up the building fire escape.

"That's for soft amateurs. I can use my claws to get up there."

"You can?"

"Yeah. Watch me."

"Are you sure? You were worn out from that training session today."

"It's okay Leo, I took a nap earlier."

"Okay. Go ahead." he smiled.

I smiled as I released my claws from my nails and started climbing up to the top of the building. "Ha, it's like I'm Spider-Man." I giggled as I climbed.

"Whoa..." he climbed up and made it up to the roof. "That was amazing Aqua!"

"Thanks." I smiled. "Let's go patrolling."

"Okay, let's go." he started to run and I ran after him.

~Leo's Perspective~

I saw Aqua running next to me and we were both searching for any disturbances in the city.
What I didn't notice was that Aqua had stopped running.

"Leo stop!" she called out.

I stopped running and looked at her. She was looking down west side.
I came back to her side. "What's wrong Aqua?"

"I hear someone calling for help."

"Then let's go!"

We both raced down to the west side of the city and looked below to see what was going on. We saw a girl with brown hair and light green eyes like Raph, who was wearing a red dress. She was surrounded by those Kraang aliens.

"On my mark, we beat them in the shadows." I whispered to her.

"Got it. On a count to 3."

"1..." I jumped down and hid in the shadows.

"2..." she jumped down after me and hid behind a dumpster.

"3!" we both attacked the Kraang in the shadows with our weapons.

~After that~

We finished beating the Kraang and looked at the girl from our dark domain. "Hey. Are you okay miss?" I asked.

"Um yes, thank you." she looked frightened.

"Can you stand up ma'am?" Aqua asked her as well.

I watched her try as she got up, but she winces in pain fell back down. "Ow! No, I think they've broke my leg."

"Oh no. Leo, what do we do?" Aqua looked at me.

"I'm not sure. She can't see us. We should leave her." I said.

"What?! We can't leave her like this! She'll be vulnerable to more Kraang or worst!!"

"But she'll freak out if she sees us."

"She needs us and I'm going to help her whether she's afraid of me or not." she said as she was revealing herself to the girl.

"Aqua wait!" I sighed and watched as she headed out of the pitch black shadows.

~My Perspective~

I came out from the shadows and crawled over to the injured girl. "Hey. Are you okay?" I said as I took out a small first aid kit from my pocket.

She gasped lightly and smiled. "Wow. A wolf. Are you a mutant?"

"Yes I am. And it's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you, eat you, or suck your blood. I'm that type to only the enemies."

She giggled. "Okay."

I felt her leg gently and found the spot her bone was broken at. "If it hurts, hold onto my tail. This won't take long." I leant her my tail and started working on her leg.

"Aww." she winced and held onto my tail and watched as I was mending her leg.

"I'm sorry if I'm hurting you. This won't take long."

"Thank you for saving me." she gave me a smile.

"It's my job. Well, our job." I looked at Leo who was still hiding. "Leo, come out. She's not scared of me."

"Nah I'm good staying the shadows." he said as he nodded his head.

"Whatever you say." I finished mending her wound and helped her up. I looked around and saw an abandoned walking stick. "Hmm, still in good shape." I came back to her and gave her the stick. "You can use this. Just stay off that leg for a few weeks, and keep it elevated."

"Thank you. My name's Haylie. What's yours?"

"It's Aqua." I smiled. I took out a notepad from my pocket and wrote something on it, then gave it to her. "Here. You can call me anytime if you're in trouble."

She took the note and smiles. "Thank you Aqua. You're a good fri-" she was interrupted by a crash across from us.

I gasped as I heard the noise. It was a lucky thing my ears picked up that sound. "Did you hear that Leo?" I turned to him.

"Yeah." he came out and took out his katana blades.

"Whoa. A turtle." Haylie said.

"Your skills are very impressive Princess." I heard the familiar voice and gasped.

"Red Claw." I growled.

(Red Claw. Grr!!)

"And Leonardo should be protecting you." an unfamiliar voice said.

Leo gasped. "Shredder." he glared as the shadows stepped into the light.

(The Shredder)

I made Haylie hide behind the dumpster. "Stay here and be quiet, we won't be long."

"O-O-Okay..." she shivered in terror.

"What do you want Red Claw?" I asked while my eyes were glowing red.

"To kill you. Like I said and I was about to until your wretched turtle heroes came."

"Leave them out of this. I'm not gonna lose to you again." I glared at him.

"Me neither Shredder." Leo glared at him.

"Fight us!" Shredder exclaimed.

"Attack!!" I yelled.

We all charged and started fighting them. Red Claw was fast, but I was faster. We kept clanging our weapons together while Haylie looked in horror.

Red Claw saw her and came up to her. "Is this your friend?" he laid his knife just above her arm.

"Aqua!" she screamed my name.

"Haylie! Leave her alone!" my eyes grew red.

"Only if you give in, then I won't hurt her." he smirked.

I growled and looked at Haylie who was at the urge to pass out. I looked at her, then the knife, then her again, then the knife. I had to make a decision, so I sighed deeply and dropped my weapon. "You win Red Claw..." I raised my arms up.

"Ha! You really think I wasn't gonna hurt her?! Think again!" he stabbed her arm and hit her in the back of her head.

"Ahh!" she screamed and fell unconscious.

"No Haylie!!!" I screamed and growled furiously as I charged at Red Claw, swiping my claws at his face. I left my mark on the right side of his face and came in front of Shredder.

"The Princess and the turtle are both too strong. We should leave Master." he replied to his master.

"We? Think again you mangy coward!" Shredder replied back angrily.

"I'm no coward! You are!"

"No you are!"

"You are!"

"You are!!" Shredder yelled as he started to beat him. While they were distracted, Leo and I grabbed Haylie who was unconscious and fled.

~Time skip to 4 in the morning~

I was pacing back and forth in front of the closed lab doors while Leo watched.

"Calm down Aqua."

"How can I calm down?! Ugh!" I punched the dummy hard while I had tears in my eyes and I refused to let them go down my face. "This is my fault! I shouldn't have let Red Claw trick me like that!"  I growled.

"I know. You hate him as much as we hate Shredder."

"I hope he kills his partner in crime." I mumbled angrily.

I heard Donnie come out of his lab and he sighed sadly. "Aqua..."

"Well? How is she?! Please tell me she's okay!!" I shook his shoulders.

"She's... she's in a coma."

I gasped in sadness and covered my face with my tail. "No... No! This can't be happening!" I cried without anyone looking at me.

"It'll be okay Aqua. She'll wake up soon." Leo hugged me and comforted me.

And so I've started to wait... and wait... and wait... for Haylie to come out of the coma. But there's no telling how long she'll be out for. When she wakes up, I'm gonna make it up to her.
