~Time skip to 6 days in My Perspective~

It's been for almost a week since I've watched Haylie sleep. At some times, even Raph watches her. I don't even know why he was watching her, I thought he didn't like new people. Oh well, it's better to worry about my new friend's health than that.

I sighed as I was still watching Haylie sleeping another day. "Oh Haylie, I'm so sorry that I couldn't protect you." I held her hand. "If only there was someway I can make it up to you."

"Mmm..." I heard her.

My ears picked up the sound and I gasped softly. "Haylie?" I watched as she was moving her head around.

"A-Aqua?" she moaned softly and started to stir. She opened her eyes and saw me.

"Haylie! You're okay! Thank Neptune!" I rubbed her hand because I didn't want to hug her and hurt her injuries the past week not too long ago.

"Agh... my head hurts..."

"You'll be okay Haylie." I rubbed her forehead.

"Mmm..." she looked around. "Where am I?"

"Leo and I brought you here in our sewer lair."

"W-Who's Leo?"

"That would be me ma'am." Leo said as he was coming in with Mikey.

"Haylie just woke up." I held her hand gently and stroked it. "Haylie, that's Leo and Mikey. You already saw Leo about last week."

"Oh. Um... H-Hi..." she said quietly and looked at her wounds. "Did you fix me Aqua?"

"Just a bit, you should thank Donnie for fixing the rest of you."

"Oh. Where is he?"

"He's in the living room, I'll call him for you. Hey Doctor!"

Donnie came inside after I called him. "What's up?" he looked at Haylie. "Oh! You're awake, are you okay ma'am?"

"Um, yeah. Thanks for fixing me. Aqua told me you fixed me."

"You're welcome. Hmm..." he started thinking.

"Whatcha thinking about Doctor?" I asked him.

"I think it would be best if she stayed here with us. She can't go back home like that. If she was seen on the streets by the Kraang, she'll get hurt more."

I sighed in relief. "Thank you Doctor. You know I can't leave a girl on her own with broken bones and fresh cuts."

"Thank you Aqua." Haylie smiled.

"You're welcome." I sighed a bit and stroked her hand. "Haylie... I'm so sorry that I've put you in so much danger. I should've put myself off guard and made Red Claw hurt you. Could you ever forgive a mutant wolf like me?" I bowed my head sadly and shut my eyes closed.

She smiled and rubbed my hand back. "It's okay Aqua. I forgive you."

"You do?" I looked up while my ears perked.

"Yes I do. You saved me and I'm glad that you did."

I smiled and gently hugged her. "Thank you for forgiving me. There has to be someway I can make it up to you."

"No need. I'll just stay here."

"Good and I'll help you heal. Are you hungry or anything?"

"Yeah. I forgot to eat today."

"It's okay Haylie, we still have some leftover pizza. I'll go get it for you."

"Thanks Aqua."

I was about to get up until Raph came in the lab. He was carrying a plate with 2 slices of pizza. "Here you go." he gave it to her.

Haylie blushed a bit and smiles. "Thank you." she started to eat it while the others but Raph and I stood by her while she ate. After she finished, she smiled that she had the pizza. Raph left us so that we could get to know each other more. A while later, sorrow took over her facial expression and she sighed.

"What's wrong? Do you feel okay? You look a bit uneasy."

"I'm upset..."

"Why?"

She looked away with a frown on her face. "I-I have no family..."

I gasped. "Oh Haylie..." I was upset that she didn't have a family. I hugged her tightly while she hugged back. "I know how you feel." I stroked her hair.

She sniffled. "I-I'm sorry."

"It's okay. You can cry on me, I have no family either." I said as my eyes started to water.

"I'm sorry for you Aqua." she started to cry.

I let my tears fall down my face and placed her in between my legs because she was smaller than me. "I know." I shed my tears with her while hugging her. I looked at the others who were at the door and Mikey was the only one crying while Donnie comforted him. I saw Leo and Raph too, they both had sorrow looks on their faces. I gave them a weak smile and hugged Haylie for as long as she needed cry.

~Hours later~

Haylie fell asleep in my arms and I held her close. It felt like I was her big sister, counting on one of the pups I loved taking care of back when I used to reside in my home village. I held her closely against my fur and looked around the room. I didn't wanna leave her, but I needed to do something. Raph came in and saw her asleep.

"Hey Aqua." he whispered. "Is she okay?"

"Yeah. She cried herself to sleep."

"Okay. I think I should take her to bed."

"Good. I need to wash my face..."

"Okay." he carefully picks her up and took her to his room.

~Raph's Perspective~

As I laid Haylie on my bed, I started feeling something in my plastron. 'What is this feeling I'm feeling right now?' I thought to myself. 'It can't be love... can it? I don't know. But I think I should nurse this Haylie back to health. I hope she can stay with us, I wanna get used to her...' I said to myself as I was covering Haylie gently with my blanket and fell asleep on the floor with my spare pillow and blanket.

~My Perspective~

I got up and washed my face after crying with her. Then I went to the living room and laid on the couch, thinking about Haylie. I looked at the entrance of the lair where my weapon was at. So I got back up and grabbed my weapon, heading to the dojo to train. As I went in, I saw Leo training by himself. "Oh. Hey Leo." I greeted him a bit with sorrow.

He stopped to look at me. "Hey Aqua, you okay?" he gently pets my head.

"Yeah... I'm okay. I feel bad for Haylie, she has no family. Like me. If only there was something I can do to help her." I bowed my head.

I felt his hand onto my shoulder. "It's gonna be okay Aqua. She can stay with us. We'll build her a room and you can help her with everything she needs."

My ears perked up. "Really?" I smiled.

"Yeah. Maybe you and her should share the room together."

"I would love that! Thanks Leo!" I tackled him in a hug while wagging my tail. I felt him hugging back which made me blush a bit. I pulled away from him and smiled. "Um Leo?"

"Yeah?"

I leaned to his face and kissed his cheek. "That's for you, for being fliptastic and awesome." I smiled.

(Leo's blushing~!)

He blushed and smiled too. "T-Thanks Aqua..."
he chuckled a bit and kissed my cheek as well. "And that's for you too, for being just the way you are." he smiled.

"Thanks L-Leo..." I blushed and giggled a little.

So after that Kodak moment, we started training together while the new member of the TMNT squad was asleep. With her guardian angel slumbering and watching over her...
