~The next day in Raph's Perspective~

I was in the living room, watching me and Haylie's egg that she gave birth to it 2 days ago. I've been like this ever since it first came out. I was just right there, on the floor, right on my plastron, and watching the egg up to where my nose was. "Egg hatching countdown, 8 days left." I said to myself.

I touched the egg with my hand as I gave it a little smile. "Hey there baby girl, there's a new world out here waiting for you. Your mother and I will live together with you, your aunts, and your uncles in this world."

"Hey Raph, are you talking to your egg?" Mikey asked as he came into the room and sat criss cross applesauce next to me.

"Yeah. I'm talking to her." I said as I turned my head back to the egg. "I'm just excited for her to hatch."

"I know how you are Raph, you're not that type to be soft around anyone."

"Well, Haylie changed me. Since the beginning Leo and Aqua brought her home. I was in total love with her and I wanted to show her that I cared, and it did. And I was really happy to know that we're going to have a baby."

"And now we're waiting for her to come out of that egg so she can see you and Haylie." Mikey smiled.

"Yeah." I smiled and looked at my baby egg. "So how's my love?" I asked him.

"She's sleeping."

"That's good. Imagine if she hatched during our mutation day? That would be the best gift ever."

"It would make you really happy!" Mikey smiled. "Oh! I made something for her." Mikey got up and went into his room. A few seconds later, he came back with a knitted white teddy bear and places it beside the baby egg. "Aqua showed me how to knit and I did this bear for her."

(The teddy bear!)

I smiled and hugged him. "Thanks Mikey. It looks great."

He smiled. "So when will she hatch?"

"In 8 days, I'm waiting for her to come out."

"Oh, can I wait with you?" he asked.

"Sure." I smiled.

And so we both sat down with the egg, hoping that my precious baby one can come out of the egg.

~My Perspective~

As I was walking with Dreamer, I saw Raph and Mikey looking at the egg that Haylie gave birth to 2 days ago. I smiled and secretly snapped a picture on my phone. "This one's for the scrapbook baby." I gave her a smile.

I walked over to the guys and sat with them. "Hey guys. Watching baby Peyton's egg?"

"Hey sis, yeah... We're watching her." Raph said.

"You know it'll be a long 8 days before she hatches. Right Raph?"

"Yeah. I know. That's why I'm anxious and excited for her to come."

"We all are. If you ever need help with the baby, just let me know and I'll help."

"Thanks Aqua."

I smiled and looked at Dreamer crawling towards the egg. "Be careful sweetie, there's a baby inside of there." I picked her up.

"Baba?" she babbled.

"No, baby. Your baby cousin's in there. So you and Bart can play with her when she gets a bit older."

"Baba." she said again.

"I think you're hungry." I giggled and got up. "Time to drink your baba."

"Yah!" she clapped a bit.

We all laughed at how cute she was being. Just then, Leo came in with Bart who was drinking his bottle. "Hey love, hey sweetheart, hey guys."

"Hi baby." I smiled at him.

"Hey Leo." the guys said.

"Dada!" Dreamer wagged her tail.

Leo chuckled. "Hey baby. Here's your baba." he gave it to her.

"Yah!" she took it and started drinking it while she was wagging her tail and wiggling her ears.

"Aww." I smiled and petted her tummy while she was drinking the bottle.

~Raph's Perspective~

As I was looking at Leo and Aqua with Dreamer and Bart, that actually made me feel a little bit more nervous about my own family. I nibbled on my fingers lightly and thought about what if I do something wrong or if I might get my anger problems again.

"Hey bro. What's wrong with you?" Leo asked me and I looked down.

"It's the baby... W-What if I'm not ready? What if I don't help Haylie take care of her??" I asked him with anxiety written all over my face.

"You'll be just fine Raph. I know you'll help your girlfriend take care of your child you made with her. Just make sure that you keep both of them happy. Why don't you sing your baby a song? That helps with bonding." Leo smiled.

"Well... Okay." I blushed and cleared my throat.

"War and glory, reinvention, fusion, freedom, her attention,

"Who am I now in this world without her? Petty and dull with the nerve to doubt her? What does it matter, it's already done. Now I've got to be there for her son!"

"It's over, isn't it? Isn't it? Isn't it over? It's over, isn't it? Isn't it? Isn't it over? You won, and she chose you, and she loved you, and she's gone!" I took a breath.

"It's over, isn't it? Why can't I move on? It's over, isn't it? Why can't I move on?" I finished singing the last of the lyrics while Aqua did the final pose of her dance.

~The music ends~

"Wow baby. That was amazing." Haylie smiled and clapped.

I gasped a bit and blushed as I saw my sweetheart standing up. I went over to her and hugged her. "Baby. Did you hear me?"

"Yeah. You sang really nicely. I love it just as much as I love you." she hugged me.

"And I love you too baby." I hugged her back and smiled. "And I'll sing to you as much as you like now. Just for you."

She giggled. "That would be great."

I smiled more. I was now ready and excited for our baby girl to hatch into the world so we can teach her all the new things in life.
