Kat's POV

It's been about 2 months since the accident happened, and Raph's been putting me under surveillance 24/7 even now.

It's gotten a little better over the past few days, but not by much. He's too afraid that he'll do something stupid like leaving his sai with me, that he won't let me leave his side.

It's even hard for him to let me use the bathroom by myself. And when I've gotta take a shower, he's always waiting outside the door, listening for crying. It's sweet, but a little creepy.

"Raph, it's been 2 months and nothing's happened, you don't need to keep following me." I said, after he scared me half to death by being outside my door when I opened it.

"And I'd like to keep it that way so that nothing will happen." He said and kissed my forehead.

I groaned.

"Tell you what, I'll back off a little, if you can promise me if you start to feel like you've gotta... ya know... you'll come find me. Even if it's just a little. I don't wanna take any chances." Raph said.

I nodded. "Deal." I said and lightly hit his shoulder.

"Kat? I just want you to know... the reason I try to protect you so much... it's because I... I love you. I have since I first met you." Raph said.

I held my breath. He... he loves me?

"I... I love you, too, Raph." I said.

He smiled wider then I'd ever seen him smile before, and he pulled me in for a kiss.

"I love you, I love you, I love you sooooo much." He whispered.

I couldn't help but giggle.

He kissed me again and slowly laid me down on the bed. He gently put his hands on my waist. Next thing I know, my shirt is going over my head. I was going to stop him, but it felt right. So I didn't say anything. After about 5 minutes all my clothes were off and he was also naked. I don't think we even realized what we were doing. It just felt so... natural. (A/N: I'll spare you the details :P)

We laid in bed, nothing on, and cuddled under the blankets.

We said nothing and just enjoyed each other's company.

Eventually we fell asleep, never feeling so in love.

TIME SKIP NEXT DAY

We woke up at the same time and smiled at each other.

"I love you so much, Kat." Raph whispered.

"I love you, too." I said.

We didn't want to get up but we knew we had to.

He got up first, and tossed me some clothes. I got up and put them on.

After I was changed and he was in his gear, he came over to me, wrapped his arm around my waist, pulled me close, and kissed me.

I smiled as he held my wrist and guided me out of his room.

"Look who finally came out." Casey said. Everyone was sitting in the pit except for Master Splinter. (Including April and Casey)

My cheeks turned completely red. Raph just wrapped one arm around me and sat down. I did the same.

"So... you guys wanna tell us what happened last night?" Leo asked.

"No. We don't. It's none of your business, Leo." Raph said.

Leo shrugged.

We spent the whole day together, hardly ever letting go of each other.
