My P.O.V.

After we got the picnic started, Leo told Donnie that I wanted to talk to him and sent him over to me. We sat down on the picnic blanket and started talking.

"Hey Donnie. What's up with you?"

"Umm... It's nothing Brianna. You know thinking about Ap-" then he stopped talking.

"I know who you're talking about." I smiled.

"You do? Then who is it?"

"It's so obvious that you like April. I know how you feel about her and she might feel the same way about you back."

"Yeah. I do like her a little."

"Come on Donnie don't deny it. You really love her dearly, don't you?"

"Okay, okay, you win. I love her. I fell in love with her ever since I've laid my eyes on her. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I rescued her while she was falling out of the Kraang's helicopter. She is like my sweet princess that I love so much from my heart."

"Wow. That's deep."

"But the reason that I don't want to tell her is that... She's a human and I'm a mutant. I was having second thoughts that me and her weren't meant to be together. She was meant to be with Casey." he said solemnly.

I felt bad for Donnie and wanted to tell him all of the information that he needs to get his sweet princess to love him. And that's not going to stop me from Casey taking her away from him.

"Donnie." I said as I laid out a hand on his shoulder.

"It's no use. She'll never love me."

"Donnie. Hey. You're more than just a mutant, you're her best friend that fell in love with her first. You should tell your true feelings to her and I think she'll accept your love. And if she doesn't return her feelings, that's okay. It would be your best effort to cherish her forever."

"But I don't know how to say it Brianna."

"It's like what Master Splinter said to me, while you guys were gone."

"What did he say to you?"

"He gave me advice that, sometimes, it is best to talk about your truest feelings to someone you love purely. Even if they don't know that you love them."

Donnie gasped that he knew that I had a point on what I was trying to say to him.

"I think you're right about that Bre. I think I'll go tell April the feelings that are inside of my heart. They've been trapped in my heart for so long ever since I met her."

"Atta boy Donnie. Now go get 'em tiger." I said cheerfully.

"Thanks for the information Brianna. I think this will help me get my dream girl."

"You're welcome Donnie. But you've better hurry up before it's too late." I winked at him while I waved my pointing finger back and forth and he smiled.

"Okay. I'm going in." Donnie said as he got up from the blanket and walked over to April. I turned down the music which caught everyone's attention.

"Hey Brianna, what's going on?" Mikey asked me.

"Shh! Be quiet and don't interrupt!" I shushed him. Donnie took April's hand and bent down on one of his knees. I took out my iPod and started recording.

"April?" he started.

"Huh? What is it Donnie? And why did Brianna turn down the music?" she asked him.

"It's because I want to tell you something very important. Something that I should have said before I first met you."

"What is it Donnie?"

"I... I... I..."

'Come on Donnie. Say it, say it now before it's too late!' I was telling him to say it in my mind. He looked toward me and I winked at him for encouragement. He smiled and finally said,

"I love you." he said. Everyone opened their jaws and I smiled. Sensei smiled as well.

"So what?" Raph said and I elbowed his chest. He puffed and I got back to recording.

"I've loved you ever since the first time I laid my reddish-brown eyes on you. When you got captured by the Kraang the first time, I was determined to save you so you could like me."

'Aww! That's so cute!' I tried so hard not to squeal so much in my thoughts.

April was surprised that Donnie really said all of those things that made her heart pound so much. When she was really happy, she kisses Donnie on the lips softly. Donnie was surprised and started kissing her back.

"Aww! That's so romantic!" me and Mikey said. The others smiled, even Raph.

"April O'Neil, will you be my girlfriend?" Donnie asked her. I gasped and leaned in forward for April's response.

'Please say yes! Please say yes!' I pleaded dearly. And she said,

"Yes Donatello Hamato, I would love to be your girlfriend." she said as she hugged him. We all cheered and I stopped recording the video. They've been in that embrace for a long time and I saw that they were smiling so much. It melts my heart like a marshmallow with chocolate that's in between two toasted honey graham crackers.

I put the music back on and everyone started dancing. Donnie came over to me and gave me a hug. I hugged him back and he lets go of me.

"Brianna. Thank you so much for getting me and April together at last. I'm so grateful that you've helped me."

"Me? I haven't helped you, it was your Sensei's advice and your heart that helped you get the girl of your dreams. And you should always remember, with advice from your Sensei and your heart of purity, it can help you through life and so much more." I said.

"Thank you Brianna. Just thank you so much." he bowed to me with respect and I did the same. He turned around and waved to me as he walked over to his new girlfriend that he was destined to be with.

I smiled and came back to my friends on the picnic blanket. During the next few minutes, we all talked and laughed while we ate. I told everyone that I was going to take a walk on the sand and left the cave.

Leo's P.O.V.

It's been for a while since I told Donnie to talk to Brianna. I was thinking about what she said to him that got him his very first girlfriend that he loved dearly. I went over to the new couple and sat down next to them, then I started talking to them.

"Hey Leo." they both said as they were still hugging it out.

"Hey guys. How's it going?" I asked.

"It's going alright in our new romance." Donnie said lovingly to his April.

'Man. I need to get used to my little brother's new relationship with our best friend.' I thought to myself as I smiled to my little brother.

"Umm... Donnie?"

"What is it Leo?" he asked me.

"Umm... what did Brianna say to you to get you together with April?"

"She gave me advice from what she learned from Master Splinter. She asked him while we were on our mission to save the world."

"What did he say to her?"

"What he said to her was, sometimes, it is best to talk about your truest feelings to someone you love purely. Even if they don't know that you love them."

I was surprised that Donnie said Sensei's quote that was taught by Brianna and now learned by Donnie. I got off of my seat to see Brianna. I ran out of the cave, but I stopped and turned around toward Donnie.

"Donnie. Thanks for telling me that quote. I think this quote will help me." I said.

"Anytime big bro. Now go get her and talk about the feelings that have been in your heart the whole time." he said to me as he gave me a thumbs up. I gave one back to him.

"Thanks again Donnie. Wish me luck." I said as I ran out of the cave.

"Luck!" he shouted back at me.

'Okay Leo. You can do this. Just take out all of the words that were caged in your heart and let them be free out of you mouth.' I said in my thoughts as I found Brianna at last.
