*The next morning...*

5:55 a.m.

My P.O.V.

I groaned and opened my eyes, then I got up to see what was on the other side of me which surprised me. I woke up to see that Leo was on the ground by my side. The only thing that I remembered the other night was seeing him smiling and waving at me, and then I fell back to sleep. I was looking at my iPod to see what time it was. And it said 5:56, in the early morning.

'Man... I think I woke up a bit too early. Way too early...' I said to myself.

While I was thinking in my mind, Leo groaned and opened his blue eyes. He got up and turned his head toward me. I was surprised.

"Good morning Leonardo."

"Heh. Good morning to you too Brianna."

"So what are you doing up this early?"

"I always wake up this early to train with Sensei."

"But don't you always get tired waking up this early and train the whole morning long?"

"Oh, no. I got used to it when I was just a little turtle tot. Sometimes me or Donnie get up first."

"Oh, okay. So how was the patrol last night?"

"It was okay. Now, I have to get ready for today's training lesson. Do you wanna come along?"

"Sure." I said in a cheerful way. So Leo got up and helped me out of the covers.

'But I'm still not sure what that warm feeling was in my chest. I can still feel it, and it's not leaving my body.' I thought to myself.

Leo grabbed my crutches and gave them to me. We walked over to the stairs and slid the door open, Master Splinter was standing in the middle smiling.

"Good morning Brianna and Leonardo." He said as he was bowing his head.

"Good morning Sensei." We both said and bowed our heads with respect.

'Wow... What a coincidence. We both said it at the same time.'

"So what are we going to learn about today Sensei?" Leo asked.

"Today we will detect our ninja senses. It will help you boys know whether to dodge an attack from the enemy or counter an attack on the enemy."

"Hai Sensei." Leo said.

"Brianna, aren't you going to get ready for school? You have a lot to learn today."

"Hai Sensei. I just need to head home and get a quick shower and clothes change. I don't start school until 8:30."

"Hmm... I think one of my sons should take you home, then you could go to school. Then after school is over, he can pick you up and bring you back here."

"Okay. That sounds like a good plan Master Splinter."

"What time do you get out?" Leo asked.

"At around 3:00. That's when I go home. I can meet of you at the place April told me to go just past the school."

"Okay. That sounds like a good plan." He said, then I winked at him which made him blush. I took out my iPod and looked at the time, it was already 6:05.

"Oh my gosh! I think I better get going. I don't wanna be late."

"Hold on Bre, I got an idea. Sensei, can I take Brianna to her house?"

"I think that sounds like a great idea my son. Brianna, it looks like that Leonardo is going to take you home so you can freshen up. You'll be able to get there in time."

"Sounds great. But how do we get there? I don't know my way around the sewers. I might get lost."

"I know Brianna. We can use the Shell Raiser to get there fast, plus there's no traffic down here." Leo exclaimed.

"Awesome. Let's get going."

"I wish you the best Brianna. I will wait for you return safely."

"Thank you Master Splinter. I'm looking forward to hearing your story."

"And I'm looking forward to telling it to you." He smiled.

"Well, looks like this is my time. I better get going before my geometry teacher cuts my head off into right triangular shaped pizzas." I stifled a laugh.

Sensei chuckled. "I see that you know everything there."

"Yes. I know everything." I said.

"Umm... Brianna? Can we get going? You're going to be late." Leo asked.

"Oh! Yeah. Sorry about that Leo. I'll see you soon Sensei." I said as I bowed my head down.

"I will see you soon too my child." And he bowed his head as well.

"Well, let's get going Leo. I'm not getting any better."

"Okay, follow the leader." He said, and I sneaked a laugh. We bowed our heads to Master Splinter in dismissal and waved goodbye to him. Leo helped me down the stairs. I grabbed my backpack making sure that I have everything. Then we went to the garage where the lab was at and entered through the metal doors. Leo turned on the lights and it revealed a big subway car with monster sized wheels.

"Behold, the Shell Raiser! One of our greatest machines ever."

"Okay can we get going? It's already later then I think it is." I was getting impatient.

"Right away Brianna. Get in." He offered me a seat.

"Thank you." I said with a little patience. So I got in and snapped on my seatbelt, then we were on our way to my house.

"So where do you live?"

"I live next to April's apartment."

"Alright Brianna. Hold on tight, this might be a bumpy ride all the way."

"Okay Leo. If you say so."

*A few minutes later...*

Leonardo and Brianna got off of the Shell Raiser and headed to where the ladder that was at. They climbed up and reached the surface. The manhole was in the side of Brianna and April's apartment buildings.

"Okay Brianna. We're here." Leo said.

"Ugh... Finally. I think I smell like pizza with rotten cheese and overgrown tomatoes."

"You'll get used to it soon."

"I hope so. And thanks for dropping me off." I said as I was getting out of the sewer.

"You're welcome. I'll see you later."

"Okay. See ya." Leo smiled as he was about to go back to the manhole. But I stopped him for something.

"Leo. Hold on."

"Huh? What is it Brianna?" I crutched over to him and gave him a hug. Leo was surprised, he never had a hug from anyone else before. He hugging me back and he was warm. He was so warm, I didn't want to let go of him. But I did, the hug actually made me feel really good on the inside.

"Leo, can you bend down a bit?"

"Umm... okay Brianna," Leo said nervously.

After he bent down to his knees, I gave him a soft kiss on his forehead. I knew he was blushing a light red and I was blushing as well.

"That's your reward for all you've done for me. I wanted to say thank you, for taking care of me. And your brothers as well."

"Umm... You're welcome Brianna. So, um... what do you wanna do after SensOei's story telling?"

"Oh. Um... I don't know. Wait a minute, why are you asking me?"

"I just wanted to know to see if you wanna hang out with me tonight."

"You and me? Hang out?"

"Yeah." Leo smiled.

"Okay. After school's over, you can get me and we can do something."

"Okay, sounds great. I'll pick you up at around 3:00 in this very spot."

"Okay. See ya later, Leonardo." I blushed.

"Right back at ya Brianna." He said as he was closing the manhole. I headed to my apartment building and crutched my way up the stairs.

'Finally... I'm home... With no Purple Dragons on my back. Heh, I think I should celebrate for myself.' I thought to myself. I crutched my way toward the front door and took out my house keys.

*A few long scenes cut up later...*

I was finally at school and I was just in time. I crutched in with my favorite pink heart laced shirt, dark blue jeans, and my black and white converse sneakers. I came in and grabbed my seat. I saw what was on the board that there was a quiz today for geometry class.

'Oh my god, this is just terrific... I believe this is going to be a long day of school for me...' I said to myself in an almost confused whisper.
