Everyone's jaws hung helplessly on the sand, trying to figure out why in the world, of all places, they'd see her again here. The red head's eyes show confusion and nervousness as she waves her hands in front of the closest person next to her - Mikey.

April: *waves hand in front of his face* Hello? Anybody there? *nervously chuckles*

Mikey: *blinks about a thousand times before snapping back to reality. Stutters* O-oh. S-so-ory about that, April. *nervously scratches the back of his neck*

April: *smiles sheepishly at him* Don't sweat it! Uh-*pauses abruptly to imply that she doesn't know his name and wants him to say it*

Just before Mikey has time to utter a single word, Donnie cuts in.

Donnie: Hi! um, sorry. We were just leaving *snatches ball from April* Thanks and nice meeting you! *glances at everybody with one word in his eyes: Go.*

So they do. They start packing their stuff frantically and run towards the car like Beyoncé was there waiting for them. None of them even bothered to spare April a second glance.

* IN THE CAR *

The gang has been riding in complete silence for a good 5 minutes. The tension in the air was so thick, you would have to jam a knife in it in order to cut through it. Then, Mikey spoke up.

Mikey: So guys, just to be clear, that was-

Everybody but him: Yes

Mikey: The red head back there was the real-

Everybody but him: Yes

Mikey: The one that we shot with a forget-y ray thingamagigger-

Donnie: YES MIKEY THAT WAS HER!

Mikey: *shrinks cowardly back into his seat*

Donnie: *glances at his brother with apologetic eyes to tell him sorry for snapping at him*

Devyn: Look, guys, I think something's up. I mean, how do you find someone that you shot with an amnesia ray a month ago in the exact same place THEY GO ON A VACATION?! Like what the heck are the odds for that?!

Donnie: About-

Devyn: *gives him the 'not literally' face*

Leo: Come on, Dev, it's probably just a coincidence. I mean, it's very unlikely that April would purposely come here to get some kind of revenge on us. She doesn't even remember who we are!

Chris: Leo, even if that was true, why would she come HERE instead of NEW YORK where we LIVE? I mean, she found us while we were ON VACATION! WHO DOES THAT?!

Ashley: Okay, okay, guys chill. We don't know why she's here, but we're gonna figure it out. In the meantime, keep your guard up. Do not let April know your names. It'll give away the advantage we still have on your human forms. So just...make up something.

Mikey: Okay I'll be Donnie. Donnie, you'll be Mikey, Raph, you'll be Leo, and Leo, you'll be-

Donnie: Those are just our names in a different order, Mikey! We have to come up with completely different names.

Jay Jay: Ugh, I'll do it. I'm gonna make it easy so that it rhymes with your original name. *types fast on phone*

Mikey: *makes confused face* Uh, I thought you said you were gonna give us our fake names?

Jay Jay: *is still typing* I am. *types a little more* aaaaaannnd send! There. All done!

Everyone's phones start chiming and flashing with the text Jay Jay just sent them in the group chat.

Donnie: *reads out loud from his phone* Ashley is Harley, Chris is Iris, Devyn is Jasmine, Jay Jay (Jay) is Mae, Leo is Niño, Raphael is Tyrel, Donnie is Johnny, and Mikey is Cody.

Ashley: Eh, it'll do. Let's put it to use. Starting right now, everyone has to call everyone by their fake name for the next 24 hours.

Everyone nods in agreement and calls everyone by their fake name. They eventually reach the house and drift to sleep, hoping and betting on everything that they won't run into April for the rest of the trip.

* THE NEXT MORNING *

Chris, Ashley, and Mikey decide to wake up a little earlier than everyone so that they can make breakfast. Mikey makes pancakes, Chris scrambles some eggs, and Ashley cooks some bacon. They finish at around 10:30 and start to call everyone to get up and eat.

Chris/Ashley: *take a deep breath so that they can yell loud enough to get everyone else up*

Mikey: *quickly covers their mouths before they can utter a single sound* I have an idea. How about we don't get slashed and yelled at by the beast upstairs and quietly wake everyone up?

Chris/Ashley: *looks at each other, smirk, and lick his hand*

Mikey: *shrieks in disgust and wipes his hands frantically on his pajama pants*

Chris/Ashley: SHHH!!!

Ashley: You don't want to get slashed and yelled at by the beast upstairs. *she says while smirking*

Mikey: *glares at the girls and makes his way up the stairs to wake up his girl. He kisses her forehead and gently shakes her shoulders. His voice is barely above a whisper* Ma-ae. Ma-ae! Wakey wakey eggs and bakey. *in regular voice* Literally we cooked pancakes, eggs, and bacon for you guys so come down and get it while it's still hot--.

Jay Jay: *stretches and yawns as she slowly sits up on the bed* Morning, Cody. *ruffles his hair and kisses his cheek.*

Mikey: *smiles and chuckles lightly as she ruffles his hair* Okay, for real though, I don't know if I can keep up this "fake name" thing for much longer.

Jay Jay: *smiles* Yea, me neither. *gets up out of bed and starts walking towards the bathroom while rubbing her eyes until she is pulled back from her waist and into a hard wall, or, more accurately, a hard plastron.*

Mikey:*whispers in her ear* I bet I can make you say my name. *with that, he starts tickling her. And how fortunate it is that Jay Jay, besides Mikey, is the most ticklish of the group*

Jay Jay: *laughs out loud as soon as he starts, absentmindely waking Devyn up in the process.* N-NO CO-CODY STOP! STOOOP! *laughs hysterically while trying to push him off. Key word, "trying"*. MIKEY!!!

Mikey, Devyn, and everyone else turn their heads towards Jay Jay and stare at her with wide eyes as she realizes what name just came out of her mouth.

Mikey: Gotcha. *backs away from her and smirks, obviously proud of what he had just done*

Jay Jay: *turns to Mikey* Why YOU LITTLE--!

Mikey: adorable Dr. Prankenstein of a boy--.

Jay Jay: *chuckles lightly* Don't push it. *rolls eyes at him and shakes head*

Ashley: Okay, let's just go back to our old names. I mean, we already mastered them all, so when it's an emergency, we'll use them. Besides, neither of us could go a whole day without calling each other by their fake names.

Donnie: *mumbles under his breath* I bet I could.

Devyn: *climbs down the ladder and says* Yea I'm sure you could.

Donnie: *turns to her* How did you--?

Devyn: Come on, guys, breakfast is getting cold!! *rushes down the stairs, leaving a confused Donnie and the rest of the gang upstairs*

* MOMENTS AFTER BREAKFAST LATER *

Leo: So, was there anything that you guys wanted to do today?

Raph: OOH! *snaps and points his index finger straight* Let's go to the gym! We could all use a good work out and some training.

Leo: *nods head in agreement* Guys? *turns towards everyone else*

Everyone else: Yea/Sure/ Eh, why not?/I could definitely use some more training. The faster I get the better/Sounds good/Fine with me.

Raph: Good. Now go get ready. And bring an extra change of clothes in case we want to do something else. We'll leave here at around 12.

Everyone disperses and goes to get dressed and ready.

They all grab their water bottles, wallets, duffle bags, and - most importantly - food and start piling in the car. They drive, talk, laugh, and sing along to the music in the car. For example,

As the car ride went on, the girls (and sometimes Mikey) kept singing and dancing along to the music in the car. They eventually pull up at the work-out place and start looking for a spot.

Leo: You guys go ahead. Raph and I are gonna go lift some weights.

Raph: Great. I'll get 50's and you'll get 3's. *smirks while everyone starts laughing at Raph's sense of humor*

Leo: *glares and his hot-headed brother* What's that supposed to mean? You're *makes quotation marks with his fingers* stronger than me?

Raph: *gets closer to him* Not only that, but I'm also fearless. More fearless than you. *points to his face*

Leo, along with everyone, bursts out laughing.

Leo: *slowly starts to calm down while wiping his eyes* Says the guy who's afraid of a little cockroach.

Raph: *anger and fear are clearly shown in his eyes* THERE'S NOTHING LITTLE ABOUT A COCKROACH!

Leo: *looks at his brother with an eyebrow raised and a smirk slowly taking over his face. Laughs lightly and rolls his eyes* Riiight. *he moves pass his brother while intentionally knocking shoulders with him, but not hard enough to hurt.*

Raph: *eventually walks after him while grumbling under his breath.*

Jay Jay: *rolls eyes at the oldest boys* Come on, let's go warm up.

They all start off with some jumping jacks, planks, crunches, squats, push-ups, and leg lifts before dispersing into their own activities.

Chris: Hey Ash! Pass me some of those mats so we can stretch and work on some stuff that needs improvement.

Ashley: Kay. *goes to get mats*

Devyn: Guys, and Jay Jay, let's go practice some punches on those punching bags over there.

Mikey: *is listening to his headphones while bouncing up and down on an exercise ball. Because he can barely hear himself over his music, he loudly says,* Okay!

The four of them walk over to the punching bags while Chris and Ashley are stretching and Leo and Raph are lifting weights.

Chris: Hey Ash, remember our encounter with you-know-who yesterday at the beach?

Ashley: * sighs while throwing hands up* Finally I'm not the only one! Of course I do, Chris, it's all I've been thinking about since it happened.

Chris: Same! I mean, I can't help thinking that that wasn't a coincidence.

Ashley: Exactly! And since then, so many questions have been running through mind, like--.

Leo: How are we so devastatingly handsome and both yours? *smirks at Ashley while Raph winks at Chris*

Ashley: *rolls eyes in annoyance but fails to keep the smile from spreading across her face as Leo sits down beside her. She turns to face him* No. We were just talking about our meet with you-know-who yesterday at the beach. We think it wasn't a coincidence.

Raph: Then what was it?

Chris: *shakes her head and shrugs her shoulders* I don't know. But it definitely wasn't normal.

* MEANWHILE *

Donnie: Okay, Dev, try kicking it. *he motions towards the punching bag*

Devyn: Okay. *gets into stance and kicks the bag. She sends it back to the point where it would definitely knock someone out if they were standing on the other end of the bag.*

Donnie: Wow, that was good!

Unknown girl: Yea, but it could be better. *walks over to the two. The girl kicks the punching bag and sends it flying to the wall. It collides with the wall and the bag slides down, sand slowly starting to ooze out of it.

Unknown boy: Whoa! Nice one, Karai! *high fives her*

Donnie and Devyn are left wide-eyed speechless.

Donnie: *grabs Devyn's hand and slowly starts to back away from the girl. He deepens his voice while saying* Y-yea, u-um, n-nice job.*gives her a thumbs up.*

Unknown boy: I'm Casey and this is Karai. *gestures to Karai*

Donnie: Johnathon, and this is Jasmine *nods towards Devyn's direction. Gulps and continues* Well, uh, we're just gonna get another punching bag. *runs to the lobby while dragging Devyn along with him.*

As he was dragging her with him, only one thing was left in his mind: April was back, and she brought her friends.
