First Date- Michelangelo

Mikey had sounded really excited when he had called. He could barely manage to tell you to meet him at some place a few blocks from your apartment at 9 o'clock that night before his giddiness completely overtook him. You didn't know exactly where this place was, so you decided to dress flexibly. As you stepped off your motor scooter and removed your helmet, you brushed more of your h/c hair under your orange headband. You had on a simple brown leather jacket with a f/c scoop neck and a skater skirt with leggings underneath. Your black and white Chuck Taylors squeaked as you made your way into the clearing, trying to see clearly in the darkness.
"Hey, my lady!" you heard the sound of wheels and turned to see Mikey skating toward you on his board. He came to a halt and you hurried up to him, a grin on your face.
"Mikey!" you exclaimed, hugging him.
"Y/N," he started, looking you up and down, "You look awesome!"
You were glad it was dark and Mikey couldn't see you blush. "Thanks."
"So," Mikey picked up his board, "Ever skated before?"
"...No," you confessed, and Mikey grinned mischievously. You instantly knew he had something fun in mind.
"Well, this is your lucky day!" he stated, "We gotta skate over if you wanna see what I've got planned!"
You laughed, and Mikey gestured for you to come closer. He took your hands and helped you onto his shell, and then you were off, swerving and zigzagging through obstacles that you still couldn't see. You whooped in glee as Mikey caught some air, and he laughed right along with you as the two of you skated through the dark.
Finally, Mikey stopped and you hopped off to see what he'd set out.
A blanket was splayed out on the concrete, with others piled next to it. A single candle lit the space, and you looked over at Mikey, a huge smile plastered on your face.
"Mikey, this is amazing."
"Just wait," you both sat down, and covered yourselves with blankets, before Mikey blew out the candle. Instantly, the stars jumped out of hiding, shining brightly and throwing light across the night sky.
The thousands of pinpoints of light formed even more constellations, and you sighed happily.
"Do you like it?" Mikey asked tentatively.
"I love it," you replied snuggling closer to him, "Thank you. My turtle."
You both laughed quietly, then sat and tried to count the constellations and shooting stars as they whooshed through the night sky. You were grinning the whole time.
