Brace yourselves, my lovelies... this is gonna be a pretty long chapter. P.S. I'm using the D/G, R/G, M/G, L/G abbreviations again for the next two chapters.

Donnie

"D/G!" I rushed outside the lab to find her out cold on the ground. My mind was reeling-- what had just happened?! I had watched her disappear and reappear, like an apparition, and then fall through a wall... It didn't make any sense.

I knelt next to her, carefully taking her into my arms and carrying her back into the lab, clearing the table and laying her down. Despite how crazy it was that Y/N had somehow... done that, I was positive there was a reason behind it. She had never been detailed about her ordeal with the Shredder... she must've been hiding something she didn't want me to know. I furrowed my brow and checked her pulse; her vital signs were stable, though her breathing was a bit uneven.

I'm going crazy, I thought, This can't be real, right?

It was more of a prayer than a question.

I was desperately trying to think of an explanation when Leo raced in.

Leo

My eyes were wide as I rushed into the lab carrying L/G.

"Donnie!" I cried, "W-We were in the dojo, and then everything started floating, and... and..." I cocked my head to the side as I glimpsed D/G passed out on the lab table.

D rubbed his temples with his forefinger and thumb. He gestured for me to come over, helping me set her down on the cot.

"Something happened to her too?" he asked me, "Something... abnormal?"

I only nodded, feeling like I was going to be driven insane with worry. My brain was going a hundred miles an hour as Donnie scanned both L/G and D/G with his mutagen scanner. The results seemed to upset him greatly as he muttered, "I knew it..."

My heart jumped into my throat at his words. I knew that couldn't mean anything good.

The lab door burst open again.

Mikey

"Dudes, M/G just blacked out!" I shouted as I hurried in, shifting my girlfriend as gently in my arms as possible, "She was like the Flash or something, man! One minute she's there and the next..."

Donnie groaned, "Put her down over here, Mikey." He gestured to the counter across from where D/G was laying.

I set M/G down and whirled around to face my bros.

"What's happening?!" I exclaimed, gesturing to the girls passed out around the lab.

"I have no idea," Donnie replied, rushing over to his computer, "Their systems are showing signs of mutagen, but... but it isn't changing them physically...I think it's having mental effects."

I looked down at M/G, my heart feeling like someone had just run over it with the Shellraiser.

"Please be okay, my lady," I murmured sadly.

A shout echoed from the dojo.

Raph

No. No, no, no. I scooped R/G up and raced to the lab, bursting in, not giving any thought to the other girls blacked down on the tables and cots.

"Donnie!" I looked helplessly down at R/G-- Man, I hated being helpless.

Donnie looked exhausted. He gestured to a cot he'd set up right beside the one L/G was lying on. I set R/G down, biting my lip in angst as I watched her breathing come in short puffs. I hated myself for what I'd done back there in the dojo, holding my sai to a stranger's throat, that had turned out to be her all along...

"Will someone please tell me what's going on?!" I shouted hopelessly, whirling around to face Donnie, "Do something!"

"I'm trying, Raph!" Donnie snapped back, turning to his computer again, "I might need to do an X-ray of their heads..."

"I promised I wouldn't let anything happen to her..." I buried my head in my hands.

--TIME SKIP TO APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR AND THIRTY SEVEN MINUTES LATER XP--

Leo

I peered over Donnie's shoulder at the computer screen along with Raph and Mikey, trying to see what he was seeing, trying to understand what was making D's brow furrow in concern. Donnie suddenly turned to face us with a scowl.

"Will you just let me work?!" He exclaimed heatedly.

"Oh, I'm sorry, don't mind us, we're all just WORRIED AS SHELL ABOUT OUR GIRLFRIENDS!" Raph spat, the frustration obvious in his tone.

"Quiet!" I tried restoring order.

Donnie paid no attention. "I'm TRYING to figure this out, Raph!" He shouted, "Would YOU like to try figuring out what's wrong with--" His jaw went slack as he trailed off.

We all whirled around to look at our girlfriends. One by one, their eyes blinked open. I ran to L/G's side.

"Are you okay?!" I cried as I peppered her cheek with kisses.

"I'm fine..." She said, but as she spoke, the lab equipment around her floated five inches into the air before landing back on the tables.

"Oh man..." I muttered.

Donnie

"D/G!!!" I raced over to her, kissing her briefly, "I was so worried!"

"Really Donnie, I'm alright," she rubbed her head. "Except for this headache..."

"I'm still trying to figure out what happ--"

I didn't finish my sentence. Again, D/G's body flickered in and out of vision, and then she sank through the counter I'd set her on and landed on the floor-- her top half still visible, her lower half floating through the counter as if the concrete had turned into water.

She cried out in angst, "Donnie, what's happening?!"

The fear in her voice broke my heart.

Raph

I pressed my lips to R/G's as soon as she opened her eyes. "I was so worried and please forgive me I don't know what got into me and I'm so sorry and--"

"Raph!" She silenced me, "I'm okay! I know you didn't mean it-- it shocked me too... I somehow... Shape shifted?"

As soon as the words left her mouth, her image morphed, her features transforming into a complete opposite of her normal look, before returning back to her original form.

"Holy shell..." I murmured.

Mikey

"M/G! I thought you were-- well, I didn't know what I was thinking, I was just so worried!" I tackled her into a hug.

She smiled that grin I absolutely adored. "Pssh, I'm fine!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah!" She hopped off the counter. She began walking over to the lab door, but suddenly her feet went into overload, and I barely spotted her as she darted across the room... And smacked into the door.

"Ouch..." She rubbed her head.

"My lady!" I cried as I rushed to her. I helped her up and glanced over anxiously at Donnie.

My brother only shook his head. "I think we've got some figuring out to do..."

Sorry if it's a little rushed, my lovelies. I just felt so bad not updating for so long.

Raph: yeah, what's the deal?!

Me: hmm... High school, homework, finals... I think that about covers it.

Donnie: we missed you!

Me: *blushes* aww, I missed you guys too!

Mikey: yay! New chapter! *throws confetti*

Leo: don't get too excited, Mikey.

Me: *frowns* hey, I'm really trying to update more often!

Donnie: we know you are.

Me: *grins* thanks, D. See you next chapter, my lovelies!
