Okay so here's how I see it Donnie and April started out as my favorite but then as the show depend the brought in Casey. now let me tell you one thing April and Casey have been couple since the very first Tmnt movie in the 1980s that's 25 years or more of tradition. you can't just break that people. now if you want to look at it this way that Donnie and April should be together just because of brains and brains. have you heard this saying opposite attract hello that's what Casey and April are.
Would it be a bad thing if Donnie happened to get April in this show. well not technically but it would kill me to see so much of how Tmnt was built destroyed. Not to mention you have the AWSOME sparks between Casey and April. like she his tutor and he does everything he can to bug her, but when she needs him the most he is there. like in the episode where April thought she found her mother but in reality it was a Krang he was there at the end to hold her close and tell her everything would be fine. For goodness sakes though I'm not saying that Donnie and April haven't had their moments like the kisses on the check but they don't seem to mesh well in romance. I believe that romance is a stand off thing until one breaks in most shows. also if April was suppose to be Donnie's why would he feel threatened by Casey coming into the turtles life?
The answer is simple Donnie sees the spark Casey and April have. don't even get me started on the turtles fast foreword series form 2003. I mean hello Cody jones, jones not Hamatto.
Any ways I'm sorry I went on a total rant and if I made any one mad sorry agin I'm not trying to hate on any one but gosh April and Casey give me the feels like no other. I also don't want the old tradition of them being broken because come on we all love that old Tmnt charm. I mean that's what we live for the crazy, weird, and plot twisting Tmnt. in all honesty Tmnt isn't Tmnt with out the oldies.
